    Bought my first HyperX headset in 2016. Re-ordered it in 2020. Re-ordering my third on now. This is a fantastic headset, great sound, lightweight, comfortable. The only reason I re-order new headsets: the thin plastic skin over the padding breaks down and peels off, leaving you covered with little shreds of plastic. I haven’t been able to find replacement padding. The padding itself is still in good shape, and the electronics work fine. If you want something that blocks out external noise, this is a bit lacking, but once the game or stereo sound is on, the quality is good and external sounds are not so intrusive. The size is adjustable, and aside from the shredding issue, this headset is well made and retains its functionality over the long term. Some headsets lose their ability to hold an adjustment over time, but not this one. If you know how to sew, you could make your own little cover and keep this thing in service.
  • Incredible headset for an incredible price
    This headset is pretty great, I have just finished testing it on a PS4, XB1, and a desktop pc. Here is what I can tell you about my experience. First, the packaging is superb and upon opening this headset, it simply oozes with quality. As others have stated, the build quality is fantastic and there are plenty of extras to make this a very high value purchase for the price. The second big thing is the sheer comfort of this headset. I am wearing it now because it is so comfortable. Kingston also gives you the choice of leatherette or a plush type padding to switch out with. Now for the third big important portion for most, how the headset sounds. Before I write that up, I want to clarify that I have a Microsoft Stereo headset, Turtle Beach PX4’s (with optical pass-through), Sony Gold wireless headset, and a pair of Turtle Beach x12’s with as DSS optical connection.I first tested this on my PS4 and this works with the usb connection to the console or the direct small plug into the controller. Both connections performed the same because the 7.1 DAC will not work on the PS4, but do not let that deter you from using this headset on your console of choice. The Cloud II is simply better than anything Sony or Microsoft branded not to mention any of the Turtle Beach headsets I own. The Cloud headset sounded really good on the PS4 with great mid and good bass, but the bass in my opinion is a tad bit low. To get the most out of the headset I went into settings/devices and manually adjusted the volume. For the Xbox One, I simply fired up Forza Horizon 2 and used the headset adapter. The sound is much cleaner than the Microsoft Stereo Headset and I can hear more detail than with previous headsets. As for the pc, the sound is great as well. I went into a session of Neverwinter because I enjoy the music and I created a character to test the 7.1 DAC which worked really well, but I could live without the DAC and go with my Asus Xonar instead.Overall, you are not going to find a better value with this versatility. I am a little disappointed that Microsoft does not allow a USB headset connection, but I look forward to testing the party chat with the microphone. I have not gotten a chance to test that portion yet. Of all my owned headsets, the only one that is close is the Sony Gold and the Cloud II in my opinion is much better. This has to be one of the best gaming headsets of 2015. Sound is subjective to each person, so for my needs and versatility it was a must buy as I plan on gaming on all three platforms this year. I also noticed a one star rating complaining about this headset not working as a wireless headset. It goes without saying that this is a wired headset, so please disregard one star reviews about this great headset. I hope you enjoy this product as much as I am! Happy gaming in 2015!Edit:February 25, 2015I want to give my impressions after using this product heavily. I have used the DAC (wired usb soundcard) with the Elder Scrolls Online and Neverwinter on PC with good results. The simulated sound is more than adequate to bypass some onboard sound solutions. I play mmorpg’s a lot on pc, so that is where I am leveraging my experience. I have not incurred any hissing or popping that has been reported. I run Windows 7(x64) and I do not run Win 8 at this time. I connected this DAC to the PS4 and I also used the small plug into the controller and I did not hear any pops or hissing sounds either way. My negative is again, with Microsoft because this headset performs poorly with the headset adapter, as does most third party headsets with the XB1 console. Again, I stand by my review with this being a must buy for versatility on multiple platforms. If your only buying point is for a console, then I would look carefully as this DAC (7.1 usb soundcard) cannot be used on both the XB1 and PS4. My use is all three platforms(XB1, PS4, and PC) and so far I love this as my main headset for all three. Unless your going to spend 200+ you can forget about getting a headset with this quality. I just gamed a 12 hour session on ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) and the comfort is top notch.

    I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to my Xiberia Gaming headset. This headset fits the bill. My Xiberia headset was literally falling apart and the ear muffs were shedding a black plastic material all over myself while using headset. The Ozeino appears to be made of a better material. They are adjustability, wireless, and comfort is not an issue. Charges quickly and holds a charge for quite a while. I’d say the quality is done quite well. Durability would need more time to analyze. I’ve found the sound quality more than acceptable and they were easy to setup. Controls are simple and minimal.

    This is a pretty good wireless headset for the price. It’s easy to use just plug in the USB receiver and its ready to go. I use it for my PC late at night so I don’t disturb the household. Didn’t have to download anything extra as the PC recognized it right away.     These work great and they’re not too tight on my fat head like every other headset is. Seriously, that’s how I rate headsets now… does it give me a headache on my clownishly large round head? The sound quality is there; the mic is removable. Love the color, although I chose it. Works great with my Xbox, and connects to parties in Discord and PC. I don’t even remember a setup; it was just plug and play. I could nit-pick and say that I get confused on the on/off switch, but I could just be an idiot. It’s the classic light switch scenario; “Is the switch on when the word ON is showing, or when the word OFF is showing?”, except it’s an orange piece that is visible when you switch it. Is orange on or off? I never remember and in the dark, the tiny writing is illegible. It causes me to do constant sound checks if I’m having to cut my mic on/off constantly. (coughing, baby crying, etc.)

    Low cost, very crisp sound with nice lows and relatively loud volume. Frame seems decently resilient to wear and tear; comfortable to use.This is my second set of these. My first set are still functional and usable, though the volume control now has a slight short in it that causes full volume to cut in and out. Otherwise, they are still working well after several years of everyday use. I’ll probably fix the short one day soon. I only bought the new set to make sure I have steady full volume without cutting in and out. The low price made that easy.
  • Excellent Value – For Entry-Level Gaming Headset
    For this price point, I can’t say anything less than 5 stars for this headset. I was originally going to go with a different product until seeing that the Ear Force Recon 50(X) series, was to release on 9/25/15. I decided to give it a try, and figured why not. For $40 it seemed like a steal!For the most part, it is a steal.PROS:–The headset itself is good looking, at first I thought the green would be a little off-putting compared to the color of my other accessories and peripherals, but it actually looks really great. Of course, this part is subjective.–Very lightweight. This thing only weighs a few ounces, and other than the light sensation of the cups on your ears, you could not even know you have it on.–The mic is detachable, which is awesome.–Further, the mic sounds great. It picks up my voice with a pretty good clarity for an entry-level gaming headset, and the attached covering of the mic essentially works as a pop filter. In fact, I have a fan blowing right by me and it manages to cancel the vast majority of the wind rushing into it from the fan. Solid mic.–The sound is pretty good. Bass and highs are on par for this price point, with the mids being the weakest link of the sound stage. For music and movies it is probably not the best choice, although it would still work more than adequately for those uses. Gaming is where it really shines, and the sound quality is more than good enough for my gaming needs. Footsteps are defined, gunshots and explosions sound great, and voices and dialog sound just fine.–Adaptability and Connectivity: It connects to the Xbox One controller that has the 3.5mm plug-in, and works on any Xbox One controller with the Turtle Beach or Microsoft headset adapter. My controller has the plug directly on it, so it works flawlessly without the need of an adapter. Further, it includes an adapter to change the mic/headphones to two separate plugs and I tested it on my PC and it works great for both sound and mic as well. Even though it is marketed as an Xbox One headset, it works just fine on PC and my iPhone. I don’t have a PS4 to try it on, but I would imagine it would work just fine.CONS:–Like mentioned above, the sound is pretty much on par. Nothing special and certainly doesn’t blow your mind with audio fidelity. However for this price range I can’t imagine it gets much better. Mids could be a bit better with frequency range.–The cord is rather short. Granted, this model is targeted specifically towards the Xbox One, so plugging it into the controller with the cord length is more than enough, and nice because you don’t have a huge bundle of cord on your lap when it is plugged into your controller. However, for use with a PC or other device you might need to purchase a 4 pole 3.5mm extension cable to make it a bit longer. I managed to find several on Amazon for a few bucks, so if this is a problem for you I would recommend going the extension cable route instead of disregarding this headset.OVERALL:I rated 5, but would probably give closer to a 4.5. For $40 (current price at time of writing, the day this headset has been released), it is a great deal. I am very happy with it, and use it as my main headset for my Xbox now, and a backup for my PC. Very comfortable, lightweight, sound is more than adequate in terms of quality, and it works with a multitude of devices. For gaming, it is just an all-around great entry-level headset.

    First of all Products packaging was good. Came in a rather large box, but contents were protected.It also came with the basic manual etc. Gave this a 3 star review as this headset was recommended by a gamer friend who had purchased one of the later models and had suggested it as a good option for a remote job.Sound QualityThe first five months of using the product went fairly well. Audio can be turned up very loudly, but if there is background noise the person on the other end will hear it. There is a manual mute botton and volume enhancer botton, but the persons on the other end will hear the odd silence when you press it.FitThe fit was pretty good, fits the ears really well. The ear muffs are very big, comfy and round. (As mentioned, before, noise still gets through). Disadvantage, after about 6 months the mock leather on the ear muffs will begin to strip a bit. The headset overall has a pretty big fit, so if you have a small-medium head you may have to readjust a few times. If you have a big head head (tee-hee!), you’ll like it. Plus it has a rigid lengthening options on both ears. The muffs themselves have a bit of pivot in them, but the headband (that rests on top of the head) is made of hard plastic and can break if not treated with care.Issues I had:1. The cord or the point that connects into the computer (3.5 mm jack), under six months started to lose static, then over time it stopped working. (Have lighted the part in on the headset that gives trouble overtime). You can hear videos if you turn it the right way, but others won’t hear you clearly, until one day you completely lose the static. Overall was disappointed in the headset as I expected more from a $25 headset.2. We tried to get another jack but those efforts failed, hence the end is cut off in the photos.

    These KontrolFreek FPS Freek Galaxy grips completely upgraded my controller without me realizing how much I needed them! The added height and texture make aiming and movement feel way more precise, and I noticed the difference immediately in FPS games. They snap on securely and don’t shift around, even during long gaming sessions. The grip is comfortable, and my thumbs don’t slip like they used to with the regular sticks. Plus, the black Galaxy design looks sleek without being flashy. If you game often, especially shooters, these are a small upgrade with a big impact!

    I’ve had my DualShock 4 controller for a few years now, and I still think it holds up incredibly well. The design just feels right in my hands—comfortable, lightweight, and responsive. The layout is intuitive, and everything is within easy reach, whether I’m playing something casual or a fast-paced action game.The analog sticks have a nice amount of resistance, and the triggers feel smooth and responsive. I’ve never had issues with input lag or drifting, and even after heavy use, the buttons still have a satisfying click. The touchpad isn’t used by every game, but when it is, it adds a nice bit of versatility. I also really like the built-in speaker and light bar. It’s small details like those that make the experience feel more immersive.Battery life could be better, though.   • Great controller with few issues
    The media could not be loaded. This was the cheapest ps4 controller out of all of them and it is great! The buttons work amazing like they should, It fits in your hands and is comfortable to hold just like any other controller, but I do prefer the ps4 controller over any others. The accuracy of the joysticks are very good, the controller its self doesn’t have a large delay when using it meaning it’s an instant response to the touch. And, it’s very easy to connect to anything via Bluetooth including my pc. That said, I do have a few issues with it. The first issue is that the came part of the controller has started peeling off as shown in the picture. I don’t know why it has started doing this but if it keeps up my controller will look very weird. Secondly, when the controller is on, there is a faint clicking noise almost sounding like electricity. I don’t believe it was my doing because ever since I’ve had it, it has been making this sound. Other than that though the controller is what you’d expect and it works amazing! 🙂

    Connects just fine to my computer, as I don’t have an actual PS4 to connect it to. I use it when I don’t have access to an Xbox controller for games that support Xinput. Plus, I do find the placement of the analog sticks a lot more comfortable. Any complaints I have regarding connectivity (I will say that it occasionally just does not want to work wirelessly and I have to manually plug it into my computer) is purely a Windows problem, because it doesn’t really play well with controllers like that.Overall, if you are a fan of the layout of PlayStation controllers and want to use them with a computer as a controller, this isn’t a bad price. Worked just fine out of the box, was clean, everything looked and sounded the way it should. Way cheaper than buying a new one.

  • Terrible Audio W/Headphones and Broken Capture Audio (Echoing Footage)
    The controller I got works fine if all you need it for is gaming, the sound quality while having headphones plugged in is definitely NOT factory issue, it sounds like they refitted it with something cheaper. There’s obviously less bass coming through and things can sound less crisp at times. The major issue with the unit I received is when I have my headphones plugged into the controller and try to capture gameplay, EVRYTHING has a very bad echo to it, rendering the video worthless and unusable. Thankfully this issue doesn’t come up if there’s no headphones plugged in, but this is beyond inconvenient. Another issue is if the controller is left alone for maybe 2 or 3 minutes, it disconnects and shuts off, completely bypassing my user settings.If you’re only looking for a controller that feels and plays like a genuine Sony Licensed controller, factory fresh and new… this might not be the one for you, I’ve seen others saying the controllers don’t turn on and won’t connect, other’s have drift right out the box and buttons sticking… If you’re wanting a controller for recording gameplay, DO NOT get this one!! Spend the extra cash on a brand new one instead, avoid this thing like the plague.

    I previously bought a pair of PlayStation 4 after market controller devices. They were fair but not the quality of the Sony playstation controller. These controllers are really heavy duty compared to the other after market controllers . I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and they were such solid and really felt like a Sony controller. The only way to tell they weren’t is by the on/off button doesn’t have the PS symbol. They work great!!! You actually have 2 remotes for less than one PS4 controller price !!!

    Pros:-Looks amazing- I like the thumb nubs. Everyone else (4 other people) who tried the controller didn’t like it, but for me, I love it. They are removeable if that isn’t your thing.- I use the controller for most of my games. PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, and half of my N64 games (The other half a N64 is still better because on how use to the controls I am), and gamecube is still far better to use a gamecube controller. So it’s above and beyond for emulating gamers.-All my PS3 controllers I have bought would have been broken by now. I bought this because I gave up on PS3 controllers. I have beaten 100+ games in the span of 3 months, so I put my controllers through… well.. a lot.Cons:-Thumb Nubs come off too easily. Sometimes impacts game play more than it helps. The extra grip it gives is pretty crazy good, and the feeling is nice, but at the cost of probably every few days of using it a lot, it might just pop off mid-match.-When charging, the charging cord always sticks out a little, this by itself isn’t that much of an issue if it wasn’t for… the next problem…-(Non-Bluetooth) Disconnects… If the charging cord is at specific angles, it will unplug. With it unplugging it can take nearly 5-6 seconds to reconnect, it has costed me a decent amount of games until I replaced the cord it came with for a much longer one where I can move it to how I want. My computer can’t connect to BlueTooth so I can’t speak for that part. The adaptor I bought doesn’t seem to work, not on the controller, as it works for none of my devices, so I can’t test out this function.-The charging cord is too small (might not be an issue if you can play via wireless)-When disconnects, because it has a mic in it, it seems to want to default to this even when I set it to not default to the controller mic. Making people unable to hear me because the mic doesn’t work without a mic extension, and I can’t seem to just disable the mic all together.~~BIGGEST CON~~: I can’t use this for a few games. The D-Pad buttons. If you don’t press nearly the absolute edge of these, it might press the down or up buttons as well as the left and right. Most presses will be fine, it’s probably like 1/5 casual button presses will push an up or down. If you can press the very left/Right, it will work pretty much everytime. It’s just annoying for it to even do this to begin with. Games like Tekken, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, or any games that heavily uses the D-Pad, and based on your D-Pad directs, it can make or break you, you do NOT want to use this controller, I had to get a specific controller for those games. Thankfully, the vast majority of games either has light use-age of the D-Pad, or no D-Pad or Optional D-Pad or something like Kingdom Hearts where you just use up or down (With some exception), and even then it’s still optional D-Pad. Games that can Simi-Use the D-Pad and still have no issue: Gauntlet Seven Sorrows is a good example, your magic is based on your D-Pad, but it will always do whatever D-Pad you pressed first because of the cooldown, so it doesn’t matter that it presses another D-Pad, so it’s perfectly fine for that. Other games aren’t as lucky.Overall, I’d say depends on your needs. If you needed it for games like the described ones above, then get a different controller. If you need it for nearly any other, this is a good buy. Will last long, trust me, if it can survive what I put it through, then this should be perfect for you.

  • It’s a great budget headset that’s extremely lightweight. Definitely worth it.
    It’s probably one of the lightest headsets you can get so you can wear this for hours theoretically depending on your physical characteristics. My head is a little larger and it’s comfortable for at least an hour no problem. I usually take a break at that point so I don’t really know more than that. The sound is great it’s not something that will blow you away but compared to Google Pixel Buds it’s just a slightly a step down, for 99% of people it’s gonna sound fantastic I appreciate the bass as well. It’s plastic so hopefully these will last for 5 years or more depends on usage and how you take care of them, The charge is pretty long lasting but not as long as some other headsets that I’ve used in the past It’s USB-C so you could use any type of charger 5 Volt charger and you’re good. I have a multiport charger that I charge my phone, my iPad so I plug this into it as well next to my desk and you could even have it plugged in charging and use it at the same time. I had no issues in Windows 11 it’s Bluetooth, it connected once I searched for it, just read the manual on how to do it and you’re good to go.

    Why did you pick this product vs others?:Price, quality, comfort. I think it’s on sale now but I snagged a set a few years back for a similar price. I wear these every day, and am currently on my second pair. I work from home and play PC games after work so these bad boys are in constant use. They are great. I don’t use the bluetooth but stick with the usb lightning connection- the range between the headset and USB is pretty impressive (maybe like 30-40 ft with some walls between me and the USB dock) which makes getting up for a glass of water during work calls or a bathroom break while gaming pretty easy and convienient. I recommend the black pair, as my first pair was the white and blue and the top piece got pretty dirty and isn’t easy to clean. I will say, and keep in mind this was probably after 1000+ hours of use, the microphone changes somehow… It’s hard to describe. It’s almost like your surroundings get picked up by the microphone and some output comes through the speakers. This doesn’t happen until after a long use, and only noticeable when the microphone is in use (i.e. Discord call, Xbox chat, etc.). The sound quality is pretty good and mic is alright too. I wear these things basically 60/70 hours a week, and they hold up still after 2.5 years. I think the battery’s starting to go on the ones I have currently– seems like it doesn’t hold as much of a charge as it used to, but that and the aforementioned thing that happens with the mic are the only things I’ve had issues with.I think these are probably the best headphones someone can get for everyday use– be it video games, online browsing/watching, or for telecommuting– in this price range. Honestly I think this even beats some of the head phones in the lower $100s price range. I rated this 4/5 stars before some retrospection while writing this review made me think 5/5. I think I’d give it a 4.8/5 if I could, but Amazon won’t let me.
  • Amazing value for wireless/Bluetooth features
    Excellent headset for price ( on sale $40ish). I was initially worried about all the talk about it being meant for small heads. Rest assured this is NOT an issue, as I have a large head with thick dread locks and this fits perfect! I can barely feel it on my head, that’s how light they are, without them feeling cheap. They are ultra durable being able to twist them to the max with no give.As for the sound, it’s really great. It has decent bass for watching movies and tv and I have not experienced and distortion with both.As far as gaming: I primarily game with these on and have no issue with hearing footsteps or my teammates in Cs2, COD, and Siege.Mic quality: After hearing some mic test online I was initially worried how my voice would sound in discord due to previous having a msi headset with a good warm mic. Although it dosent compare to that mic, my teammates can hear me clearly without distortion and only took my usual friends to get used to the change in my voice very quickly .I definitely recommend these and this will become my daily gaming headphones and I plan on buying a new pair once these give out.+++ Logitech software is NOT needed for these headsets which is a win for me because I have had issues with that software in the past.It also can be connected to your pc or console through a included dongle , as well as connect via Bluetooth , which is amazing I can have these on and swap back and forth from DIFFRENT connectionsOverall 4/5 stars easy recommend
  • Good sound, great mic quality
    Partner loves them. He keeps mistakingly putting them on backwards so I can’t hear him ???? easy to setup up and connect to computer and can wear them while they charge too which is a plus while you’re gaming and chatting. They’re also very comfy and adjustable to his big head ???? so I’m glad they fit him haha sound on it is great and doesn’t need adjusting with any app on the computer. Only sad thing is these don’t connect to the GLab app so you could adjust settings but that’s okay. Mic quality is also great and people can clearly hear you despite the mic being inside the headphones.

    These headphones are most excellent. I see a lot of people complaining that they are made “cheap” but they are made that way on purpose to make them as light as possible. They are very light and therefore very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Sound quality is decent for what you pay for them. They are compatible with just about any device that can connect via Bluetooth and function really well even if you use the supplied dongle. So far the durability is good for normal wear and tear, although I do not suggest treating them roughly. I don’t have a good reference for the size, however I think they are good for small to medium sized heads ( not sure about melon/ very large heads).
