  • A matter of skill
    Adults love this thing. Buy one for the kids, then play with it yourself. Had some roofer buddies over, pulled it out and turned it on, and these brawny adults turned into 6 year olds. It takes some practice to get it right, and part of the trick is to waft it upwards as you waft it out. It sinks slowly. If it flew on it’s own, it would stick to ceilings. It’s not inexpensive at $31.xx, but it’s really a pretty amazing gadget someone cooked up, with just the right lift (propulsion) and gyroscopic stability. It is flexible, and does not break when it flies into stationary objects and falls to the floor. I’m really glad I don’t have cats. Major league pitchers should have white ones with red stitching. P.S. I am an adult!

    This toy was quite the hit for Christmas presents! This ball lights up and spins around in different directions. I would suggest having an open area while playing with this.

    It’s a fun toy with 1 flaw. If you don’t keep the ball totally upright and centered, when tossed it takes off in a dive to the ground. It was hard to keep it tossing. So cool when it’s centered.

    I hesitated to buy this for my 10-year-old grandson, but I read over the views extensively and this company seemed to have “Okay” reviews, and there are a million sellers. It comes in a nice impressive box, but it drops off quickly from that point. I was shocked at the size compared to the proportions in the images. This spinning ball is more like the size of a baseball…not a softball…baseball. We decided to test it out. It’s not metal as it appears. It’s a lightweight plastic, which is not a problem other than it’s a little bendable when trying to charge it. To charge it, there is a very short cord to plug into a USB port, but plugging it into the ball is very difficult. The plug is inside the ball and is very hard to keep in one place while attempting to connect it. Five minutes later, it was plugged in and charged fairly quickly. To turn it on, you need a ballpoint pen or a tiny screwdriver to flip the switch. Once we did that we were ready to go. After all this hassle, we followed the instructions and let go. In a matter of two seconds, it hit a wall, dropped to the floor, and was as dead as a doornail! Wow! There is no way a six-year-old can play with this…other than to watch someone else play with it…that is if it works long enough. The only thing I can compare this to is one of those cheap drones that worked just about as long.I’m so disappointed and I’m glad we tried it out first!

    The quality is super nice, she got it at Christmas and has used it so much since then! She gets the fun of bouncing around while getting energy out so win win for parent and children. So super functional. The squeaker also comes out!!! So that alone I feel makes it valuable in its own and worth the value.   • Holy Silent Jumping Batman!
    I was hesitant to order this ingenious product because my children already have enough noise-making toys to drive me insane.I was sold on the concept of an age-appropriate, balance-training pogo for my toddler but I dreaded the idea of the squeaker feature.I poured over user reviews on Amazon and the manufacturer’s website, hoping that some other sane human being had the same concerns as I, but found only complaints and no confirmation that the squeaker could be easily removed without damaging the product. With my son’s birthday coming up I decided to take the risk and order it. I figured that if I couldn’t kill the squeak I’d just return it before he saw it and knew what he was missing.I’m happy to report that I was able to silence this toy and gift it to my son! There are two small, plastic, bulb-shaped squeaker inserts, one at each end of the foam base. I inserted my finger into the opening to feel around the squeak mechanism and confirmed that it was not glued or permanently attached inside. I used needle-nose pliers to grasp the stem of the squeaker while depressing the bulb with my finger and slowly stretching the foam around it as I carefully worked it out. The foam does have some elasticity but I didn’t want to force it too quickly and risk tearing the foam. Each squeaker came out intact and the foam block shows no scars or signs of the surgery.All in, I probably spent less than two minutes investigating and removing the squeakers versus the hour or so that I spent scouting the internet and debating whether or not to buy it. I hope my detailed review may save someone else the trouble.As I write this, my three-year-old son is happily hopping around the house (wearing his bike helmet) with no sound other than his laughter and joy. My eight-year-old daughter gave it a go and is jealous so I may have to buy another! I also gave it a try and was surprised at how much air you can get due to the elastic bands that connect the handlebars to the foam base. The product seems very well made and the colors are great.

    I love these. They are the perfect gift for 3-5 year olds. My son has one and we’ve gifted them to others. My only complaint is the SQUEAKERS!!!! Who puts something squeaky in a child’s toy. My son jumps on this for 30 minutes straight. Take out the squeakers for the love of god. Or make a no squeaker option. You used to be able to pull them out easily but now I just use scissors to break the squeakers/tell parents to do the same when I gift it.

    Got this as an Easter basket gift for my son. It’s easy to set up but very limited on where you can play with it. It says asphalt and grass are good spots to play but they are not. It works best on hardwood or a completely flat surface. We don’t have too many spots that aren’t carpeted and once outside didn’t work, well this toy has collected dust. We enjoy it when I’ve freshly moped and everything is out of the kitchen. But definitely haven’t gotten the moneys worth of play out of it.

    This was one of the more inexpensive sets I found while hunting. Basically my plan was to scavenge parts for tech I’m building, but that was almost a week ago, and so far all I’ve done is playing with them constantly.The only bad thing I can really say is 3x AAA batteries I suppose, but I’m sure they’ll last long enough. and luckily I have a near limitless supply of batteries. that’s it for Cons.Pros: First of the price. I got it on sale but even without it, the 2-packs I’ve seen are cheap plastic, like Little Tikes soft plastic. this is by no means high grade luxury plastic, but it’s built sturdy and solid. not like you have a large empty plastic box strapped to your chest that glows.More Pros! The LEDs are simple, but the minor functions they serve (like shields, or reloading) are fun, blaster to vest pairing is easy to do, teaming up is easy to do, modifying game rules (increasing hit points, 1v1v1v1, 2v2, 3v1) is easy to do, and the blasters have their own simple receivers in them that only do a 3 hit count but is really nice addition. There are speakers that handle the female built in voice pretty well and also the different firing modes, hit sounds, and reloads. Could have been a bit of a better speaker, but the audio driver is loud. Then there are the firing modes. Handgun, double shot laser gun, 3 round burst assault rifle, then there is the plasma launcher! takes out the most hit points, takes a while to reload, but that’s all me and my nephew played.Anywhats, I’ll buy a cheaper set to scavenge parts from, because I’m about to strap the vest to my dog and see how our walk goes

    This works very well. Assembly was pretty easy, just gotta fit a bunch of pvc pipes together not as thick but very stable, cant complain even if my son takes a bar off and re attaches it. My kid finds it fun. Everything fit together easily. Size is not that big we put it in the corner of his room, goes a foot or 2 higher than the window. Its light enough to move around if you need to aswell. Fits through all the doors. Fun stuff for a 5/6 year old.
