    Finally received a pack with a mega Lucario in it a $500 card unfortunately it was defective with scratches all due a the card. Went to Pokémon for warrant support and they won’t support an online marketplace such as amazon. Wouldn’t recommend purchasing through amazon because you lose some rights from Pokémon support by default. This should be criminal Amazon is the largest US marketplace and in someways the only way to receive Pokémon product in this country and I lose support by purchasing this way. I’m sick of corporations getting their cake and eating it too.

    I’m not going to lie, I have not watched Avatar: TLA ever. I did watch an episode or two of Kora with my kids but thats my extent. From a player’s standpoint since Alpha, the “Elemental Bending” ability for me means nothing and I will not play with any of the cards that have that. There’s enough spoilers and deck lists out there that you can look at and make your opinions before buying. Here’s what the run down is for my playbooster box. Foils are as follows: 2x EA basic lands, 1 basic land, 3x tap lands, 15x commons, 12x uncommons, 3x rares. Base cards are: 6x mythics, 29 rares, 1 borderless uncommon, 2x borderless rares, 1x borderless mythic, 2x “eternal” cards. Quality of cards was great for the base cards, foils were another story. It looks like they blades were dull and uplifted a few corners and left a lot of edges frayed. This has been hit or miss the past few sets. Hopefully the foils in the collector packs are better produced. I’m not going in to the monetary aspect of this and the ERV on the box because honestly, I don’t care. I didn’t pay a scalper for it, I got a known “good” product that hasn’t been tampered with and I can hopefully get in to “Avatar: The Last Airbender” anime now. I can’t say “buy singles” for this product as again, I haven’t gotten in to the series but from what I see so far and the price point, give it a go! Good luck on your pulls!

In each pack there were 3 booster packs (10 cards in each pack) and a holo foil card (mostly EX and V cards and even one Vmax card). good variety of sets such as 151, Destined Rivals, Stellar Crown and more.The only thing that made me not give a perfect review is the price wich is 8 dollars a pack.     Well, I figured for $10, I’d take a chance and see what I got. Not knowing which cards or pack you’ll get is half the fun anyway. I wasn’t hoping for much card wise, but I was at least hoping to get something as far back as Black/White. I got two packs of XY Roaring Skies and one of XY Primal Clash – both of which I could’ve bought at the nearest toy store, so that was kinda disappointing. Out of them, the only thing of worth was a reverse rare Banette. So, I can’t say if they’re weighted or not. It might just be I had bad pulling luck. Might give them the benefit of the doubt and try again at a later date.3/16/16 – I decided to give these sellers another try. Since I’ve been collecting, I’ve gotten into collecting the coins and pins you can find in some boosters and packs. So this time I purchased (2) Three Random Booster Packs from VGMX, which stated I would get an extra coin and promo/holofoil card. Foolishly, I assumed that it would be three random packs, a coin and a promo from varying sets or previous boosters or whatever that had already been opened and distributed for sale. What I got was legitimately 2 blisters, resulting in all of my “random” packs being Breakthrough. Seeing as it would likely cost me half as much to send the packages back as paying for them, I decided to just accept the fact that they weren’t random and opened them to see what I got. I got two reverse rares out of the packs, aside from the holo promos that came with the blisters. Something seemed fishy, but I figured that you can’t really weight boosters, right?3/30/16 – Wanting to solve the mystery once and for all, I purchased a gram scale so that I could weight the packs I buy from different stores and sellers, to see which places were the safest to buy cards. I decided to give this ONE LAST shot. So I bought 3 packs of Three Random Boosters, nine packs total, from Swift Buy. They arrived today and, honestly, I’m surprised that I was as hopeful as I was. But when I opened it and saw that my “random” boosters were in packs of three, resulting in three packs of 2 XY Base Set and 1 Flashfire almost with the exact same art too, I knew I was screwed. Still, I wanted to be dutiful and weighed each pack. It is as follows:X/Y Base w/ Yvetal Art = 18.5 gramsX/Y Base w/ Yvetal Art = 18.4 gramsX/Y Base w/ Yvetal Art = 18.4 gramsX/Y Base w/ Yvetal Art = 18.3 gramsX/Y Base w/ Blastoise Art = 18.5 gramsX/Y Base w/ Venosaur Art = 18.4 gramsFlashfire w/ Mega Charizard X art = 19.8 gramsFlashfire w/ Mega Charizard X art = 19.7 gramsFlashfire w/ Pyroar art = 19.7 gramsNeedless to say, after seeing those numbers, I was upset. So I opened them all and with EVERY SINGLE NON HOLO RARE I got, I just got more livid. The whole reason I bought nine was because I wanted to rule out any chance of my having just rotten pulling luck. With Pokémon cards, you are expected to get one EX/Ultra rare every 4 packs, MAYBE five if you have a bad day. But nine packs in one sitting with absolutely nothing to show for it? Statistically, it simply doesn’t add up. Further, if you add my other two previous purchases, that’s 18 BOOSTERS WITH NOTHING!Now, I’m willing to concede that the first time I bought from Swift Buy (when all I got was the reverse rare Banette), I just had bad pulling luck. And while it IS hard to weight boosters, it IS possible. But I chose to give VGMX the benefit of the doubt. But having bought 9 packs (for a total of 12) from Swift Buy with nothing but non-holo rares to show for it, I can – with complete confidence – tell you that there is absolutely nothing random about these packs. They clearly pull the best packs and then resell the duds to unsuspecting online buyers, probably in the hopes that an unsuspecting parent or grandparent buys them for their kids and will never bother to submit a complaint to Amazon.Well, Swift Buy, you aren’t fooling me.DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! And only buy from VGMX if you’re looking for pin-free blisters. My suggestion to you is to save your money and buy at your local stores. Either that, or go to eBay. That’s where I’ll be from now on.

It has 4 extensive sleeves which could probably fit double the cards I have right now, comes with a huge selection of dividers, has lots of space so you don’t need to worry about running out of it, and it feels really sturdy too.     The Family Matters deck from Bloomburrow is easily one of the most charming precons I’ve played in a long time. The woodland creature theme is absolutely delightful—brimming with flavor, and every card feels like it belongs in a cozy, storybook world. The art direction is top-tier, and the deck’s synergy around family and teamwork mechanics is incredibly well done. You can tell a lot of care went into crafting this.Gameplay-wise, the deck is a ton of fun right out of the box. It’s accessible for newer players but has enough layers of synergy to keep more experienced players engaged. I played a few games straight out of the packaging and had a great time watching the deck come to life.That said, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons:1. Power Level: Out of the box, it’s just a bit underpowered compared to some other recent Commander precons. A couple of the creatures or support spells could use slight upgrades if you’re planning to take this to a more competitive table.2. Mana Base: The land selection works, but it’s not optimized. Some color-fixing or faster lands would’ve made a huge difference, especially in a deck that thrives on getting multiple creatures out efficiently.Still, for casual Commander nights, flavor lovers, or anyone who enjoys well-themed decks with solid synergy, Family Matters is a great pick. I’m already making a few tweaks to upgrade it—and I’ll be keeping this adorable critter family in my rotation.

  • Bringing two communities together (again)
    If you’re looking to make money off of this, then just choose another game to scalp. A lot of people reviewing this state “no money value”. This is Magic: the Gathering, value dips are expected day one due to hype and early breaks showing cards. Is it worth the price (depending when you buy it)? If you’re new to the game then yes, you will get cards that will help insert you in to the current power level of game play. Bringing another community to MTG is tough, but it can be done as Universe Beyond: Lord of the Rings showed what could happen even after 1/1 “The One Ring” was found. If you’re a Final Fantasy fan or are familiar with the games, you will find that the cards resemble the Final Fantasy lore fairly closely, much like LotR. It’s a great way to combine the two fan base and TCG gaming formats. Opening around 6 total cases (36 boxes) between LGS and Amazon, here’s the break down by averages rounded down. Base cards 31 rares and 4 mythics – 3 pose cards of any rarity, 3 Ext Art/showcase, 3 ext art lands. Foils of base were less than 1 mythic and 2 rares per box. Through the Ages were 1 mythic, 3 rares, 6 uncommons (could be foil). Art cards averaged 13 per box with 17 tokens as well. Quality was good as there were a handful of cards from the same box that had slight differences in shading, especially on the white coloring on Enchantment Creature cards. Edges were good but there were tokens that were dinged on a corner but the rest of the pack was good. No ink bleeding, no mis-cut cards, no crimpling of the foil finishes. If you’re looking to the best possible “value for your money” and are new to the game, it could be worth it to buy a commander deck (if this is your style of play) as most of them have a good number of valuable reprints (both monetarily and playability). If you are looking for surge foil cards, commander card inserts, or the multiple chase chocobo cards, this product does NOT have it in it. Wrapping on the boxes were loose and some even had bunching up after heat sealing. Individual pack packaging was good. They look like the crimping could be questionable but most of the packs that looked this way yielded good cards. I will always recommend to buy singles if you’re been in the game for a while. If you’re new to the game, this is a higher priced set than most, even “remastered” or “commander set” boxes, if not about the same. As a Final Fantasy fan I’d say dive in if you’re interested in life after the Final Fantasy TCG, different style and rules but resemble one another. The artwork alone would make it worth it in my opinion. As usual, buy singles or trade first, get what you want for the money as Universe Beyond MTG sets are a bit pricey sealed product wise. Have fun and good luck!

    Arrived quickly and it great condition. All the boxes had the official seal and were not tampered with. The nostalgic value and great pulls made the price we paid worth it. We bought a total of 4 boxes and still felt there was a great variety of cards and special cards.

    It’s expensive. It’s not even that crazy of a set. But I got almost every single card I wanted except for the super high price ones. I pulled a Vivi. Enjoyed sharing these with my friends. Quality was really nice. Nothing came damaged. Really fun to open.

    Obviously the price is too high. But let’s face it, the price is determined by what people are willing to pay. I am a huge MTG fan but I am an even bigger Final Fantasy fanatic. So, why should I not get it while I can. And why should you wait? I see reviews here that question the quality, sealability, card variety, authenticity, value, etc. So, I wanted to capture how great the condition of the box and booster packs were in, and not tampered with. Also, got a shot of the 43 rare and mythic rare pulls. Great pulls. Very satisfied.

    Went 50/50 with a friend. Even with that I pulled some amazing cards. Got a signed artwork, tons of full art cards, vivi and tifa (full art and foil). Was worth it I think buying a box once is worth the investment. After that, buy singles to fill in the holes for what you want. Saves money in the long run. The FF set is by far my favorite and most chaotic time in a long time.(ps. screw scalpers)
