We have a new, large walk-in shower and this thing has turned showering into a whole new experience. It is very good quality. For the price… it’s excellent quality. It has that heavy (but not too heavy) feel to it. I’ve never had a high-end Delta or Moen shower head, but I don’t know how they would be any better than this thing.Installation was quite simple and straight forward. I did not install the flow restrictor and would recommend the same unless you live in the desert. Once installed (with a few basic tools and some of the included Teflon tape ) there were no leaks at all. Just made a few easy connections (and made sure all the included rubber seals were in place) and it was ready to go!The smaller head is attached to the base by a good magnet (but easy to unmount). The hose is good quality and plenty long enough. The lever used to switch water flow from the large/main head to the smaller head is large and easy to operate… and low enough for my 5’1″ wife to reach easily. My wife cleans houses for a living and she has seen many different high-priced shower heads. She said this one is better than all of them. She also said many of them have a lever that is very small, difficult and even painful to move the water flow from one head to the other. She said this one is wonderful.The water flow from the main head is truly amazing. The flow is soft, relaxing and covers you like a gentle rainfall in the rainforest. No joke! It’s everything you’d expect from a more expensive brand. The smaller, removable hand-held head has 7 or 8 different settings. Each one is pretty amazing including the… as I call it, the “powerwasher setting”. It blasts out a single stream from the top of the hand-held head that could almost remove the tile from the shower wall! Be careful with that one and aim it in a safe direction!Overall, it is one amazing shower head and I’m so glad I purchased it!If I had to list any complaints, they would be…1) during installation, attaching the main base to the water pipe coming out of the wall was simple, but when trying to get the base to a vertical position, as it should be, it took some work. The movement/rotation of the main base on the integrated ball-joint was very tight and rather difficult to maneuver. It takes two hands for sure and pair of channel locks for holding the water pipe to keep it from twisting inside the wall. It did take some effort, but that tight fit also gives it the feeling that once you get it positioned where you want it, it’s definitely not going to slip, turn or sag on its own.2) The main, rectangular shaped head is quite large. Our shower is large too. I think it fits/looks great. My wife laughed when she first saw it because the main head is much larger than any shower head we’ve had before (now she loves it:). So if you plan to put this thing up in a small/standard shower or bathtub shower, it will look massive.3) My last complaint is… I thought water flow could be turned on for both heads at the same time, but not really. When you move the selector switch into the middle, so that water will flow from both heads at the same time, the water comes out with a pretty weak flow from both heads. I had hoped both heads could spray with more power at the same time. Both heads are great on their own, so I don’t really need them on at the same time anyways.That’s it! I love it!!! Definitely one of my favorite purchases for the new house!

I rarely write negative reviews. I also rarely write super WOW reviews…This is a WOW review. I have struggled to find a shower head that provides adequate pressure. I am not talking about a “fire hose” pressure that will hurt you, just adequate pressure to rinse yourself off .This product exceeded my expectations.I need to stress ,, my wife would not accept a painful shower flow. This is not the case. This shower head provides excellent flow with a “gentle” flow. The rain shower piece is actually sort of soothing. The hand held piece, which we never really desire much less use is great as well. Provides an option for say , washing a pet (?)The even cooler function is the jet that you can select out the back. Perfect for our large shower when I am in there cleaning. A quick “power” spray to rinse off cleaners.Seriously, I have bought 3 various shower heads and all have failed to meet my needs. This one is a keeper.Easy to install (not a plumber here!!). You install in steps/stages so it’s not too onerous .I hope not to revise this review due to say reliability or failure with age.Currently… it is awesome

I like the versatility of the shower head. The rain head is big enough that it covers a good part of your head and body with a gentle but generous amount of water. The hand held wand gives you just about any other setting for your bathing and shower cleaning needs. It’s also nice that the hand held mounts to the same arm as the rain head and doesn’t require you to adhere anything to your tub or shower surface. The magnetic connection is strong and I don’t see that falling off during normal use.One thing to note is that the rain head does need to have good pressure to be effective because it has a lot of jets. Consider that if you have good pressure for the rain head, keep that in mind when you switch it over to the hand held. Some of those jets will be hitting you hard, to the point that it actually hurts. I have a water volume adjustment on my shower valve, and when I switch over to the hand held, I turn the volume down considerably.Another thing to note is that when the rain head is positioned well over your head, the hand held will most likely be pointing directly at your face. There is no way to change the angle of the hand held without changing the angle of the rain head.Others have pointed out that it doesn’t stay in position when the angle is adjusted, and the whole unit just hangs down. I haven’t found that to be an issue, and mine stays firm, right in the position I put it.One final thing to consider is how it will fit if you have a shower caddy hanging from your shower head. I was able to adjust my shelves to make it work, but I know some don’t have adjustable shelves.The whole unit feels solid and the ability to switch from a luxurious rain head to a versatile hand held all in one unit is a big bonus. The installation was simple, just a few minutes to tape up the pipe threads and wind it on.

This is one of the products where it pays to spend a bit extra to get quality. I reviewed an off brand positively, but then had to throw them out because the water wasn’t filtering completely. I’ve learned my lesson and will stick to Brita from now on.

At last after 2 returns and endless hours spent on the phone, I received today the right genuine original items. Amazon picked up the wrong ones at their expense and accept to compensate me for my time on the phone dealing with that discrepancy. The issue was the wrong description on the item online. The word ‘compatible’ was missing and therefore I got both packages without Brita printed on the package as well as on the individual filters. You are kindly request to be careful reading the description and even if you receive the wrong items, do not hesitate to return and and and demand some $ compensation. No pain, no gain!

These filters reduce the chlorine in our city water resulting in better taste. They filter rather quickly. The filters are easy to replace. This is a cost-effective alternative to purchasing bottled water.

I like this product. I use it to filter city water, and find it tastes better after filtering. I use the filtered water to make ice cubes, they’re crystal clear, and no ‘off’ taste.I wish it had a color-change feature that reminds you when to change it- instead there’s a sticker in the box, which is hard to see and to write on when it’s on the front of the water container.I also wish there was a way to recycle the used filter, which I continue to look for.It works great to filter the water. Recommend.

Good so Far. I am a bit concerned about the plastic used for the container. I see if cracking easily. This is my first Brita product. I was surprised how quickly the filteration was. In terms of water taste. I liked it from the first, so I does everything I had hoped for thus far.

I use the Brita water Filter refills since I bought my Brita. Keeps. the water fresh and clean. We will not drink tap water unless it goes thru the Brita first. It does taste different.

Arrived quickly and matched description. Makes my water taste much cleaner and crisp. I would recommend them. Matches color description. Seems to be made well too

This hair catcher has been an absolute game changer in our showers. My wife has a ton of hair, and like most women regularly deposits it into the bottom of our shower where it all makes a valiant attempt to coalesce into a heinous monster gumming up the plumbing and stopping water from draining. Additionally we use the shower to bathe our dog, who excels at finding ways to cover him self in the finest dirts, muds and other mystery substances he can find. My life used to include a weekly routine of using hair snakes, dissolving agents, and even pliers at times to slay the monsters those two created.Then we found the TubShroom, and have banished those monsters for good! The design is extremely simple, with multiple rubber sizes that have different diameters that made it easy to get a good snug fit that still allowed plenty of water flow through the drain. It’s thick enough that I don’t have any concerns with longevity, even on the rubber parts, and the channel design to hold that part in place has worked great even after weekly cleanings. Speaking of which, cleaning it out is easy as can be. Once a week we pull the catch out (usually after a dog bath) and pull the hair that’s accumulated off to dispose in the trash, I usually give it a quick scrubbing in the kitchen sink and a spray down to get any smaller bits of dirt and grime that it’s caught off, and then reinstalling it is as easy as pushing it back into place and it’s ready for the next shower!The combo version also comes with a traditional rubber stopper, which serves it’s purpose, although it’s mostly held in place by the water pressure pushing down and doesn’t take much to pull it out. Coupled with our dog who thinks it’s a fun game to pull that out of the drain if we’re filling the tub for him, we haven’t got a ton of use out of the stopper portion, but still a nice add on.Overall I would highly recommend this if you’re looking for a way to keep hair and other bits out of your drain!

I’ve tried so many different types of hair catchers over the last 2 decades, in this house. I really wish I’d known about this one, sooner. Nothing else has ever come close to keeping hair out of the drain. The TubShroom actually does keep the hair out of the drain! You have to clean it after every 1 or 2 showers, but that’s preferable to, frustratingly, snaking the drain. You have no idea how nice it is to hear the water, freely, going down the drain. It’s the little things. So, if you’re on the fence, get off it and just buy this already.

Ive had this same Tub Shroom for just over 2 years. Love it. My daughter and I have a lot of hair and lose a lot when we wash it. This little thing catches all of it.The one drawback though, is it catches everything! Specifically, the gunk and grimey stuff. Bubble bath, bath bombs, anything with a sort of, residue – it catches all of it and builds up. About once a month I have to spray a bleach mildew remover and get an old toothbrush to get it out of all of the crevices and holes. I can tell its time because despite removing the hair after each shower, the tub doesnt drain very well. If I take it out during my shower it drains fine, so I know its all gunked up again.Thats the only issue with it and I can’t say if any other device would work any better, but I truly love this product anyway. Ive never had anything catch hair the way this one does. Andnive always had hair, obviously, so I’ve always had to have something in my drain to catch it all.I’d still buy it again if I ever needed another but even after two years its still holding up well. I did have to replace the rubber seal one time when I couldn’t get it clean enough so I removed it and it wouldn’t go back on the right way.

I’ve had the rubber version of this and it works great. I figured it was time to replace and got the stainless this time. These are far better than the rubber ones as they are easier to clean. As far as strainers or other products go, the oxo one work ok but moves; the others just don’t work well and keep the water from flowing in the shower. This has no flow issues.

I saw the TubShroom in an article about strange things for your house that save time and money and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! It is absolutely amazing how much hair it captures. You just pull it out every so often and pull the hair off. I know it has prevented clogged drains. I just got a Sinkshroom for my bathroom sink. Seriously, this is one of those things that make you think where has this thing been all my life! I recommend!

This is a quality budget replacement filter. It fits perfectly if not better and lasts a long time. The water tastes good until time to change. I don’t follow the timing schedule but change when the flavor begins to change. I have chlorine in the water so I notice the difference immediately. Buying a box means there is always one ready to replace the used one. When I only have one left, its time to reorder and they come before I run out.

For years I have been purchasing Brita brand filter cartridges for my Brita pitcher. I decided to save money and tried the Amazon brand cartridges I was extremely pleased that the Amazon cartridges did a much better job than Brita in filtering out the chlorine taste of our tap water. I can’t vouch for the Amazon filter’s ability to filter out contaminants as I am not a hydrologist but it does a much better job of producing good tasting water.

Makes water taste good but doesn’t last as long as the official brita filter. This might not be too bad because of the cost savings so you might end up saving more with these anyway

My mom has had one of these for probably 6+ years. I moved into an apartment with a tub and between two of us a bathing a dog we were clogging the drain fast. It seems to get all the hair if you use the right rubber size gasket. The drain is able to drain quick even with hair in the tub shroom. I only need to empty it about once a week ish. Hey y’all, Our bathtub stopper was, well no nice way to say it, disgusting. It was the original one from when our house was built over 30 years ago. Not only was it disgusting but it hardly functioned and definitely didn’t keep the hair out of the drain. I saw this product in a magazine and after reading about how it worked, I knew it was worth trying. I am glad I did. The Tubshroom fits a variety of sizes but the shroom fit my drain perfectly without using any of the alternatives. I also like that it came with a stopper. I don’t often take baths but if I do, the stopper will be a good solution to fill the tub. The shroom looks amazing and catches a lot of hair. I am pleased with the look and function of this product.

This is good, and solved a problem of my sink having nothing to stop debris from entering the drain. it does restrict the dran a little bit too much which is why it got a 4 star rating. After putting this in the sink starts fills up with water because it restricts the water entering the drain. I took the center plug out of it, and that was enough to let it drain fast enough. The quality does seem good, but I’ve only been using this for a few weeks. I will be surprised if it fails because of a quality issue.

So we live in a rented, military house right now. Anyone who has done this knows my pain. You learn to deal with certain things and maintenance issues are on the top of that list.This is a simple, fix to a drain issue that would just be fixed by the housing company in a cheap way. It looks nicer than what the replacement would be and there is no need for continuous calls about this breaking due to cheap materials. A two year old can install this and no need for instructions, just a simple swap. The color is shiny and nice. Couldn’t be more pleased. I got the two pack for when my next drain stopper goes out.

The Positives: These stoppers install easily, and do seem to work, for now.The Negatives: The body of the drain plug, that attaches to the metal mesh basket, is made of chrome-plated PLASTIC. This is noted in the description, but I missed it. I’ll have to be careful with it, so it doesn’t crack, and be sure not to use scouring powder on it which would ruin the chrome finish and make it look shabby. I doubt it will last very long. Also, one plug housing aligned perfectly with the metal basket, the other didn’t, so I had to bend the basket to fit. I’m disappointed that the manufacturer didn’t make the plug housing of metal as well, for durability. I will keep looking for all metal construction, if it exists?

This works great for my bathroom sink. It fit perfectly and catches hair easily. It feels nice and sturdy for the price and is easy to use and clean.

This was easy to install and fit great on my older sink. As many other reviews mentioned, water drains slowly and then pools. If you lift the edge of the stopper up a little, the rest of the water will drain. Kind of annoying but it’s better to have this than not and risk things falling down the drain. Our old stopper broke so this seems like a good solution. It was packaged well so the two stoppers wouldn’t get scratched and they’re made of solid material and shiny. Easy to remove and clean and does it’s job of catching hair, etc. And a nice price too.

I bought two and they fit good and are still working great, I used them in both my bathrooms and the catch any loose hair or objects that fall into sink, good price too and when the water stops flowing the trap needs cleaning out. Good quality too. I will buy again.

I love this drain! I have a very old sink that doesn’t have the usual drain plug, and I wanted something to match a new matte black faucet. Does what it’s supposed to! I appreciate the fact that this came with different sized silicone rings to attach for better fitting in the sink. Looks great and does its job! Seems sturdy and durable. However, I have noticed that some water pools around the edges just a little bit and it’ll leave droplets on the ring itself. It is super easy to remove and clean as well.

Super convenient way to put in a new stopper. We were suspicious of how these would work, but they work perfect. You just set it in the sink and you’re done. And it holds water great. For the tub, it may not drain fast enough since the hold is so small, but it would hold water fine for a bath.

Wow! I love this drain stopper replacement!! My old lever & plug had worn out. I was skeptical about this new plug device, but it’s been GREAT! I simply unboxed it & put it in my drain to replace the old one. The gasket included was fine, I didn’t need to change it. The seal is perfect, no leaking anymore. Have had it about six weeks now & works like a charm! No more crawling under the sink!!

This product is a really good idea and something I really needed because my existing drain stoppers were mostly broken and useless, so I thought this would be an easy affordable replacement to help with a quick sink wash of delicate items or jewelry without worry of dropping them and losing forever down the drain.Unfortunately….it is only good as a stopper, but not as a regular drain. The basket on the bottom is too dense and water doesn’t drain fast enough. Just washing hands or brushing teeth at the sink will leave you with a sink full of foamy (dirty) water where you have to wait a quite long time while it slowly drains. Then after it drains, all the foam film will stay on the wall of the sink which then needs to be rinsed, sometimes multiple times. This in turn makes this really incredibly inconvenient and annoying where I find myself taking it out completely when I use sink so I don’t have to deal with slow drain and have to clean my sink every time I wash my hands. I uploaded the video of how my drain works with and without the stopper and the issue described above. Also, I’ve only had it for about couple of weeks and it’s already stained permanently, so not sure how long is going to last before it will need a replacement.Again, this is a really good idea and a very much needed product, but it needs improvement. If bottom basket wasn’t so dense it would probably function better, but the way it is, I’m disappointed that I can’t use it the way it’s intended.This was also a very good fit to my sink, no gaps, and it looks like it came with the sink. The stopper works great with a push of a button, and it creates a good seal without leaks. It feels heavy and sturdy.However, it’s just not functional for a daily use, unless your water pressure is really low and thread-size coming out of faucet.

Our housekeeper pulled the drain stopper out of a bathroom sink to clear a clog, but afterwards it could not be installed. Even our plumber told us it was impossible and suggested we replace the whole sink. It’s built into a solid countertop so this would have been a wildly expensive option, and we declined. Thus I have been staring at an open bathroom drain for over a year. It’s rather ugly and a tube of lip balm could have easily fallen in and caused plumbing mayhem. Lo and behold, this modestly priced Hibbent drainer-strainer solved the problem at incredibly low cost. Plus it was super easy to use and took only five minutes to read the instructions and install it. It looks great and works perfectly. It seals well and holds water without leaking. Plus it catches hair and anything else that falls down the drain in its handy little basket. What a fabulous and easy solution to a vexing problem. I would give it ten stars if possible. Love it!
