What can I say. I needed Adobe Pro to create, manage, pdf files. Now I can convert any file format into a pdf file which notonly decreases the file size but will keep the content “safe” from modification.

Stay away from this software. I am warning you as a computer expert with years of experience: do not waste your money or your time.A core, paid-for feature—the “Enhance Document / camera” function—has been fundamentally broken since the disastrous “new look” was rolled out in 2023. A simple search reveals I am not alone; forums are filled with hundreds of users complaining about the exact same issue. The button is either missing, grayed out, or simply fails to work.As an IT professional, I have spent hours trying every conceivable solution: full reinstalls, clearing caches, registry edits, customizing the toolbar, and every other “potential fix” supplied by users online. Nothing works.The only “solution” is to disable the new interface and revert to the classic version. This isn’t a “fix”—it’s an admission that the current, flagship product is unusable. We are paying a premium subscription for a product whose new features are so broken we have to use the old version just to get basic work done.It is infuriating that a bug this significant, impacting a primary function of the software, has been left to rot for well over a year. The company is clearly more interested in adding useless new AI gimmicks than in maintaining the core tools that professionals rely on.I had been using this function since 10 years ago, and switched over due to pervious license expired. Save yourself the headache. This product is broken, and the company has shown they have no intention of fixing it.

I do a fair amount of PDF work for the various volunteer organizations that I am involved with. Not a ton, but enough to justify the cost of Adobe Acrobat Pro.I’ve used this software for years. It’s just so feature packed that I couldn’t get by without it. You can go to Adobe’s website to see all the features, so I won’t rehash them for this review. Suffice it say that this software has everything that you could possibly need to work with PDFs and it just works flawlessly.For those reviewers who said it was a problem to activate the subscription, my experience was exactly the opposite. Zero problem. As soon as I completed the purchase, an activation screen popped up. I linked this subscription to my existing Adobe account by simply entering my e-mail, and then it was active. Literally 10 seconds.I can’t comment on any of the cheaper non-Adobe alternative products because I have never used them, but I highly recommend Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Amazon purchase of Adobe Acrobat Pro was cancelled. Could not download the program because the download procedure was so arcane. Had to go to Adobe website to purchase program. Purchase from Adobe was straightforward and download of program was easy and fast.

This was a must have and took some getting used to. Excellent choice and I recommend using this on an Apple desktop. Worked very well on mine.

Awful experience. Purchased one-time MS 365 – 2024 version for one-time purchase Its is highly defective software put out to create multiple traps. On my functional PC-computer, having MS Office 2021, Word suddenly won’t open without warning. Outlook acted up dysfunctional. I uninstalled, purchased this one MS-365 2024 version. The Word remained dysfunctional. It won’t open any file. I reverted to MS 2010 version, and it opened Word. This is the third day that this defective software has disrupted my patience. It does not have the conversion module to convert older files to this sophisticated software. I looked on the web for conversion software from older version of Word files to newer version. It’s not there. I had to look for help on my Microsoft Account. Very frustrating with AI! I discovered that Microsoft has put out this software for $149.99. Amazon is selling for $249.99. I purchased from the very trustworthy Amazon yesterday, Aug ’25.Please withdraw this software from Sale. I am aware there is no refund for bad software. I cancelled my order on Dell for a new PC that I ordered yesterday, inclusive of this one-time 2024 version of this software. I will be going over hoops again. If Microsoft has to push people to the profitable subscription model, there is no need to be misleading and deceptive, besides being more expensive by $100.00 on Amazon. I have used Microsoft products for the last 30+ years. This is the bad show for the first time. I have to continue to use Microsoft products. There is nothing out there in competition.

It’s Microsoft Office Suite. The download and install process worked fine. I prefer to have the software paid for and installed locally on my desktop. I do not use the Microsoft Office 365, cloud based, subscription model.

It was worth the money.

Unfortunately, I was unable to use it because my office or Adobe were not uploaded. As a new user with little to no experience with computers, I was under the impression that everything I purchased would be ready to go once I received my merchandise. Little did I know that I had to upload everything myself and time just does not permit me to do that with two jobs. I feel like I wasted time and money.

I’m sure end users working from home will find this product important. As for me it’s too pricey.

Well executed software, and maddeningly ever expensive over past existence years. The software application is coming to it’s natural end like a family lineage die-out. Computers and computer interface means change, are changing so subsequently disappear and the next level action verb effect will change. The field idea is always the context is for kings. Of course I see from my perspective in the way I interact with the field. The monthly fee or rental costs; is abhorrent but intrinsic to social-economic-capitalism-fiat-elastic-coin-exchange system. With no fear of successful contradiction I proffer this software will disappear along with the physical tech to use it. This software almost never works. When it does work, it only allows you to type in some of the spaces on the fillable documents, not all of them. Sometimes it will allow you to fill in part of the document, but most of the time you can’t type anything on documents. Maybe it’s happening whenever Microsoft updates, because it worked for the first few weeks that I had it, but now it’s just useless. I’ll be on deadlines and will never know whether I can type PDFs or not. And when I can’t, it’s a huge hassle. I used to have free PDF software that worked perfectly. Now that I’m paying, I have nothing.

Nice features in Adobe Acrobat DC. However, some of the features are not very intuitive (e.g. comparing PDF files side-by-side). I found the help feature to be “clumsy”. It a bit longer to find my answers to my queries

I read the complaints before buying this. The complaint is 365 which this isn’t. Office 365 is what you see when you install it. But when you click on Account for each app it says 2021. I had the 365 subscription and these apps are not this. This Outlook looks more like my 2013 Outlook except dark mode is an option. I also have 2016. But 2016 does not come with Outlook. I’ve only installed 2021 for less than a week, for both Windows 10 and Windows 11, on the same computer, on separate SSD’s. I used my 2013 pst file for the 2021 which works fine. And no this did not reactivate my 365 subscription. This 2021 Outlook is labeled “Outlook (classic)”. The reason for why I mentioned this is there is a free Outlook from Microsoft Store. When installed it is labeled “Outlook (new)”, and operates completely different. It is a terminal, like accessing your email from a browser.Why I got 2021 was I’m crashing my 2013 Onenote after I wrote to the Notebook from a newer version of Onenote from another computer (which has default Office). The “Onenote for Windows 10” caused no problem. But it lacks functionality. So I downloaded the free “Microsoft Onenote” from Microsoft Store which has the same functionality as the 2013. I believe that updated the Notebook to make it incompatible with the 2013 version. But when I install the “Microsoft Onenote” to fix my 2013 Onenote the install uninstalls 2013 and I lose Outlook.All this is done under my Microsoft account. The reason why I mention this is some of the complaints come from users that did not use a Microsoft account.

I purchased and use Office 2021. When I loaded the office programs they show as Office 2021. However, Office 365 shows as installed on my PC, and Office 2021 does not show as installed. I never accepted or installed 365 nor do I want it at all.Now, when I use Office 2021, such as Word, there are all kinds of freeze ups because it has been converted to Office 365 and is functioning on line. Further evidence of the bate and switch is that it will not work offline, even though it is supposed to be installed on my computer. I am disappointed that I have been sold one thing and got another. I decided to buy a one-time license key with a more current version of Office for a new machine I’d set up. It went pretty smoothly until once, installed, I selected the app with Outlook (new) beside it. There was no option for choosing the .PST file on my new hard drive–the one with all my contacts, calendars, settings etc. It said the only way to use an existing file was to have a 365 subscription. I had a few choice words over that.Fortunately, I figured out I could uninstall the app called Outlook (new) and choose the other Outlook app. (Anyone remember New Coke that launched and went away? Yep. Outlook (new) is about like that in my opinion.) When I installed the regular Outlook, it immediately populated with the data from .PST file I’d copied to my hard drive. I got maybe two prompts for a PW–one for two different emails I use that are associated with my business account.

Yes, they are. Yes, it can.I had a chat session with Microsoft first and pointed them to this page. I told the agent there was general confusion about whether the software could be transferred to a new PC. The agent responded “Office 2021 Home and Business is a digital perpetual license which means it’s a one time purchase. You can use this license on single device at a time.”That wasn’t quite the answer I was looking for, so I asked “If my PC dies and I buy a new one, can I transfer this digital perpetual license to a new PC?” The agent responded “Yes, you can.”I then had a chat session with Amazon and asked the agent if Amazon is a licensed reseller of Microsoft products. The agent responded “Yes, we are the licensed reseller of the Microsoft”I then asked if this particular product was being sold by Amazon or a third party seller. The agent responded “It is sold by Amazon.com Services LLC”With that I went ahead with the purchase and was happy to see that the download button took me to a Microsoft page and automatically carried the product key with it. Once I signed in to Microsoft, I was able to download it, it installed, and everything works.

Microsoft wants everyone to subscribe to their online version of Office “on the cloud,” but I still prefer this buy once and use forever format they still offer. Excel is the most useful product ever, but Word and PowerPoint are OK. I like Thunderbird better than Outlook. This Office suite was once highly recommended, but now you should get a more recent version (2024 or later).

Well after Microsoft office wanting $70 a year when the previous version of office were one-time buy and they worked forever I purchased this product instead to see if it does everything it promised I was pleasantly surprised that all my documents seamlessly opened up and the great thing about this CD works forever you can install it on multiple computers I ordered it three times on eBay and it never arrived so I went on to Amazon or was actually cheaper and it actually showed up in a very short amount of time

Wonderful! If you just need some simple things like typing/writing, presentation/power point, and spreadsheet, this tool will do all that for you. You can forget the Microsoft Office that they will charge $99.00/year. That is just TOO much for some people. I hope that this tool/software will not do any harm to people’s computers in the long term. So, when users see and know the quality and the low cost, words will spread like wild fire. KEEP in mind that the Presentation/power Point on this tool cannot create video like the Microsoft Office Power Point, but you can do the regular presentation with animations.

It gives me the ability to write a letter and print it out but as far as I can tell, all the other features require a paid subscription.

So far I’m only using the spreadsheet. While it does function generally as a spreadsheet I’m finding a major flaw in the software. When I try to copy a cell in the spreadsheet, the application locks up. It doesn’t matter if the cell contains a formula or just plain text. It always locks up and I need to shut down the application in order to proceed. Don’t know if there is a fix for this but it is quite annoying. I just need very basic spreadsheet functions, nothing fancy, but this is a major flaw in the application.

I did not have high hopes for this Office Suite 2024 but it actually seems to work just fine. Tried it on Win7 and Win11 machines and worked with no issues on both machines. I was able to open and edit Excel 2000 files and Word 2000 files. I bought this Office Suite 2024 for a new Win11 desktop that will not run my original copy of Office 2000 (thanks MS) so I was looking for alternatives and this Office Suite 2024 looked good and price was really cheap. I don’t use Office enough to justify paying $100+ each year for the latest and don’t need all the latest bells and whistles either.However, after having used this Office Suite for awhile, I changed from 5 stars to 1 star because the quirks it has are frustrating and annoying. It lacks some of the basic function that Excel has and does things with no explanation that cannot seemingly be reversed. It shows the page break lines highlighted and I cannot undo that. It also does not move from cell to cell with the tab key or the enter key.

Good affordable substitute for the costly MS Office suite. It’s not the same but it’s sufficient for personal use.It was easy to install on my new Windows 11 computer.

Impossible to obtain license and assign license to myself – a complete waste of time – I cancelled the subscription and got screwed out of a refund. Never again Amazon.

First, I want to point out that Microsoft Office itself works great on my MacBook Air and I love it. Would have been a five star review if the download instructions were more clear. I purchased this download via Amazon versus Microsoft because it was slightly less expensive for the annual sub. I did not know that this would be the primary cause of my headache. Amazon does not have clear instructions listed for this product, if they do I could not find it anywhere. Once purchased you have to assign the license over to yourself. Under manage licenses it gives you two options, one to enter an email to assign the license to or it says assign to me. I entered the email address associated with my Microsoft 365 account, which sends an invitation from Amazon with “download instructions”. The email says to simply click on the link to redeem the code and sign into your Amazon account. Suffice to say, this did not work for me. I made several attempts before I had to contact customer support. I spoke with 4 people who could not identifya resolution before I was transferred to a young man who helped me out pretty quickly. All I had to do was select assign to me and I was sent the same invitation email to the email address that I have associated with my Amazon account. This time when I clicked on the link it took me to the Amazon sign on page and once signed in it took me to the same manage licenses screen. At the top of the screen there was now a button that I could press that allowed me to access license and it prompted an installer so I could download the Microsoft 365 apps to my MacBook successfully. Simple solution thankfully. Also, I am not sure how the assign to me feature works if the email address that you have on file with Amazon is not the same as the email address that you have with Microsoft 365, luckily for me both email addresses were the same. Amazon should have download information clearly listed under the product description to avoid customer frustration and Microsoft should also make sure that sellers of their product have all of the correct information. The purchase was definitely worth it though.

One of the reasons that I got the bundle deal was because of this 12-month subscription. I had been subscribing to Microsoft 365 Personal monthly through Microsoft, and getting it for one year from Amazon will save me money. Plus, I applied a $30 gift card to this purchase, received from trading in an older HD 10, so I saved even more money.Since my monthly subscription was about to renew, I cancelled auto-renew, and waited until Microsoft sent me an e-mail stating my Office had expired. I then went to “Memberships & Subscriptions” in my Amazon account and downloaded Office. Well, actually, it was all on my desktop anyway, and I just had to sign in at Microsoft for everything to be activated again. Just took a few minutes.On the Fire, you sign in using your Microsoft account e-mail and password, not your Amazon email and password. Everything in Office is on the Fire HD 10, but I have no idea how everything will work on the Fire; if it will work just as it does on a desktop or laptop. I only use Word to write documents and reviews, and that is working exactly the same. I do nothing elaborate, though.You manage the Office 365 account from your “Memberships & Subscriptions” Amazon page, not at Microsoft. Thus, you go there to turn on or off auto-renew or to cancel your subscription. I prefer subscribing to things when possible through Amazon. It makes life easier and everything is in one place.

Truly Sheets cannot handle multiple functions across multiple sheets. Every change I make it freezes up for 10-20 seconds “not responding”. I don’t have time for that after every minor edit. Makes it unusable. My purposes were for making budget template to auto categorize expenses and income. I had no issue doing this in Microsoft Excel. We got new computers and hoped this would be a budget friendly alternative. Disappointed in Truly’s lack of transparency regarding their programs’ purposes. I know stating what it cannot handle is not a selling point but being upfront about what these programs are geared for and noting it’s not for advanced Excel users or recommending professionals seek an alternative option for handling more computing may improve your rating overtime.Downloading was easy.Was not worth purchase. I bought TrulyOffice because my PC didn’t come with word or excel, I needed something for my business purposes and for the kids to use for school. So far, this works very well for our needs. It was very easy to download and set up on more than one computer, and also, easy to use.

Not as good as Microsoft Word app but it gets the job done. I wish MS had kept the Word application without the AI feature which takes control of how you use it. A great substitute but not replacement.

ordered the Truly Office Family Lifetime License and followed their directions, entering my activation code. That took me to a store where they wanted me to buy it again. No one answers their phone. It goes straight to voice mail. They list 2 emails: one was rejected and no One responds to anything!!! Very disappointed! It also said could use on your iPhone from cloud and can’t get it to bring up any of my documents.Now I have to Microsoft to put on my second computer and be able to access from my phone.

Wordperfect is the very first word processing software I learned to use years ago until my employer switched to MS Word. I eventually began using it on my home pc until this past week when I had to purchase a new desktop with Windows 11. I wasn’t able to transfer my MS Word from my old computer to my new one.After the high cost of my new desktop I couldn’t see myself forking out so much money for MS Office 360. Finding just MS Word for a one time purchase turned out to be impossible and I wasn’t about to subscribe for it on a monthly basis. It wasn’t worth the high cost since being retired I no longer do a lot of word processing. I knew Amazon would not let me down and right away I found WordPerfect for instant download at a one time price. To make it even better, it was on sale!It was fairly easy to download from Amazon. Read my words carefully though as I said “fairly easy”. I wasn’t disappointed as WordPerfect has changed very little through the years and my documents look great. My experience from the past returned back to me immediately.All I’ve got left to say is “GOODBYE MS WORD” and “hello again WordPerfect you old and reliable friend”. The only wp program I’ve used since its inception is WordPerfect. I just am used to it and enjoy it. Having just purchased a new pc with Win 11 on it–and incurring total disaster when I tried to load some of my older programs on it (I’ll just leave it at that.)–I was forced to buy this newer version of WordPerfect. Well, thankfully, it loaded perfectly (no pun intended), and I had no issues. I was so very pleased that it still has a lifetime license and a cd from which to install. To me those are two huge pluses. As always, this product is highly recommendable.

I ordered the Word Perfect disc because I’ve had trouble downloading before and I loaded it and it basically installed itself. After reading some of these reviews, I was worried about installation or activation, but this was a piece of cake.I have used WordPerfect in the past and it will take me a little while to remember everything but for $50 this is a no-brainer.My Microsoft Word was ancient and didn’t always wanna open properly. I’d give it a 5 but it’s new to me yet. Complete package comparable to MS but seems better. Could not configure Word correctly so I bought this and I like it so far.

I just received this software package this afternoon. It took about an hour to install, update and check it out to make sure it was running properly. I am coming from Microsoft 2019. (Support ending in September) I don’t want to rent anymore software programs for home use. I Would like to get rid of all my Microsoft hardware and software. That company is trying to make everything a money pit. Goodbye Microsoft.

As good as the major brand but about a tenth of the price. Just a few small items are in different spots but it just takes a little time to figure them out. Even faster if you have a report due!

I am a longtime WordPerfect person. I started working withWordPerfect 5.0 the DOS version. I still love working with WordPerfect. I can easily create charts for activities and handle any type of letter I need. I love inserting photos or cute graphics into my documents.
