    I’ve been using this for a few years now and just recently bought it from Amazon so I can finally write a review about how much I love it. It’s a good quality toothpaste that doesn’t feel weird and gritty like some other ones I’ve tried, and it also doesn’t leave my teeth feeling overly sensitive after which is a big plus. Also, the big thing, yes it whitens your teeth! I drink a lot of coffee and the occasional red wine and this gets the surface stains off so quickly. I started getting compliments on how white my teeth looked after a couple of days of using it. And honestly it’s worth the money. Buy it here or wherever but this stuff really does work
  • Pay close attention to which of these you are ordering, as there’s more than one Optic White!
    When I ordered this toothpaste I thought I was getting a very pleasant, minty toothpaste such as I’d gotten as a sample from my dentist. Well, I didn’t get “that” paste. Rather I got one “related” or “in the same family” of pastes. Colgate has apparently added to their Optic White line of toothpastes, and I didn’t know that. Is this a good toothpaste? Yes, I think it’s quite good. It certainly wakes me up every morning when I use it. Do I prefer it to the minty, green gel Optic White Colgate? In a word, no. I bought a package with three tubes of this type of paste and the price was great. Will I continue to use it, yes. But when it comes time to order more toothpaste I’m going to do my best to find the gel-type I first used. This one smells and tastes fine, and it actually has hydrogen peroxide in it, which may be why it has such a kick to it once in your mouth. From what I’ve read the peroxide in the paste should be beneficial as it helps to fight the bacteria that causes plaque. I cannot vouch for effectiveness in changing how my teeth look; I’m not into the “brilliant white teeth” look. To me it makes your teeth look fake. I’ll make a decision as to effectiveness after I see my dentist the next time. For now: This is a very good quality toothpaste, with good taste, the right ingredients and a very good price.

The first couple of nights after I rinsed, I noticed little pieces of gunk being rinsed off my teeth, like flakes or grit. I know this sounds gross as all get out (and yeah, it was) but I’m pretty sure that was built up plaque that hadn’t been coming off with my regular toothpaste, or maybe tartar – had the same consistency as the gunk they scrape off during dental cleanings. Yeah this stuff is fairly pricey but man is it working well. Full disclosure I had some trauma and wasn’t taking care of myself as well as I should but with healing comes renewed motivation to get my life back on track, so my results might be a bit more dramatic than most folks would have, but honestly the difference in just the first week is amazeballs!! I can literally hear my toothbrush squeaking against my teeth now they’re so clean with this stuff – that same toothbrush was NOT doing that with regular toothpaste no matter how many times I brushed. (I use the Colgate 360 Whole Mouth Clean , Medium Toothbrush for Adults if anyone’s wondering). I got two of these tubes of toothpaste gel – both the peppermint and mild peppermint. Neither one of them are too intense tasting, but the mild is really mild and is totally clear, while the peppermint has a blue tint to the gel and a bit more flavoring. Going forward I’ll probably stick to the mild one – it cleans just as well and I prefer the milder flavor. It’s a really smooth gel but a little goes a long way – you really do need only a pea size amount, so even though it’s pricey, it will last a good while. I truly cannot recommend this stuff enough – I feel like it’s almost as good as a cleaning appointment but without actually going to the dentist. (I know it’s not really but my teeth feel just as clean after using this stuff it’s freaking brilliant!)

However, this has resulted in my teeth having the most severe sensitivity I have ever experienced. Now I am getting the kind of sensitivity I experienced with the vicious vibrating tool the hygienist uses to clean. I also think my teeth look less white than they did previously and I also had some bleeding of my gums which I never experienced before this toothpaste.     I have a friend who is in the dental industry recommend this toothpaste. I cannot explain to you the difference this toothpaste made after just one use. Here is a before and after picture of my teeth after just one use. Look closely at the gum area on the bottom teeth. I took these pictures 5 minutes apart. This toothpaste is expensive but it WORKS!! You only use a pea sized amount on a dry toothbrush. I typically will brush my teeth with it for 1-2 minutes, then stop and let the product stay on my teeth for a couple minutes and then I finish brushing with it. HIGHLY recommend!!

  • This toothpaste cleared out 5 small 50 yr. old cavities from childhood, they are simply gone!
    This is an incredible toothpaste, the most noticeable result is that I had 5 pin head sized cavities from early childhood, and they are miraculously totally gone. The one cavity was actually the size of 2/3 pin heads and had recently increased in size. I am amazed the cavities were with me for around 50 years…but no more, how is this possible I do not know. I routinely check my teeth, roof of mouth, tongue and gums so I am totally aware of this change. I had only used the paste for a few weeks it had a pleasant taste, scent and thickness and it also removed old dingy sealant that I no longer needed on my molars that was used as an early precaution only. I could not be happier…this is so great! I can’t wait for my dentist who said that the tooth with the larger cavity in it and dingy sealer needed a filling to actually see lol that that cavity is no longer with me. I am also glad that the older sealer is fading since it turned an odd pinkish color and I am not so sure if I had tried to explain to the dentist what it actually was, she would have believed me. I actually had deep recesses in my back two molars, and a past dentist sealed them to prevent cavities since I already had the five small ones from childhood. I really like this toothpaste I had been using pronamel products, but this paste does things that line is not capable of. This paste cleared away old cavities, cleaned out old unhealthy-looking sealant, whitened teeth, improved gum health and guarded against sensitivity. I do try to live a clean life and have no concerns with the nano particles and feel the paste is made with natural products that are designed for oral care. The consumer has the choice really to spit out the excess and or rinse if they really feel compelled too, I believe you will still see results and have benefits from this paste. Thank you for a great product I did not even know I needed.

    It’s officially been a month of using the toothpaste, and by the second week of using it as directed, I already noticed a difference. My bad breath went away completely, and I wake up with fresh breath every morning. My teeth have gotten a bit whiter—not drastically, but they look much cleaner, and I feel more confident.     I would hands down buy this again. It will always be in our bathroom! First off, I have to avoid gluten even in things like toothpaste and body products for health reasons.. its a must avoid.. I’ve been able to use this product and have had no issues at all.. no reactions, hives, bumps, or anything. The taste is a little funny.. it reminds me of a kids toothpaste that is flavored with kid flavors. When my husband and I first used it, we just grinned at each other and said we felt like kids. It doesn’t leave a funny taste or odor in my mouth though but I hope they come up with a mint flavor for this particular toothpaste. I love that my teeth feel clean and I love love love that it doesn’t make my mouth burn or leave an after taste. My teeth are very sensitive having been abused by years of retainers, braces and health challenges. I have to say, using the Boka toothpaste for about 4 months now.. those weird white spots on my teeth left from having had braces seem to be getting smaller. I thought it was my imagination at first but one spot on my front tooth is almost gone! I don’t know if this product can actually rebuild your teeth like that or it’s just unique to my mouth but I’m pretty amazed. Keep in mind, I also exercise and eat appropriately, avoiding things like sodas and junk food. So, don’t expect to eat highly processed foods and such and think you will get the same results. Like I said, my teeth are very sensitive but I love this product as I don’t feel “teeth cringe” when I use it. Hands down, this will be a staple in our home.
