Years ago I had a fire in my microwave. I was cooking a squash on a paper towel that, back then, must have had some micro metal in it, because it caught fire and I turned around and saw my microwave looking like a fireplace! Back then, I grabbed a kitchen towel, flooded it with water, opened the door and tossed it in, and it extinguished the flame. These blankets work the same way, without the water.I bought these for my friend who’s twins are beginning to cook – age about 10 – and it’s simple and easy enough that they can use it if ever needed. We had a practice session (no flames) after they opened them (it was a gift), so they’d know the process and not panic. We went through a simulation a few times until they were comfortable with it, especially the motion of laying the blanket down over the flame by moving it from front to back on the stove so the blanket protects your arms from flames. I felt it was important that they know this aspect and not panic and throw it wildly over the stove. They know it now and will have no issues if they need it. Let’s hope never.I also bought myself one for our house as my mother can not use a fire extinguisher at this point. It’s too heavy and she’s not strong enough to pull the pin without difficulty. This solves the problem. And then I bought a bunch more and gave them to relatives for Christmas gifts.On You Tube there are videos of cottages, called bothies, in the UK that are shelters for hikers, open to all. Most have wood stoves in them for warmth. In every bothy I’ve seen, there is one of these hanging on the wall. They never need recharging, aren’t heavy to use, and are quicker than an extinguisher to deploy. An excellent device.

This literally just saved our house from burning down. We had an oil fire from a free standing burner ( got too hot, spilled over, caught on fire ) and had about 12 foot flames that was up to the roof of our outdoor kitchen and spread to our house. Melted the siding. This blanket lessened the height of the fire enough for us to get to the fire extinguisher and put it out. If you don’t have one of these , get one IMMEDIATELY! We have ordered more after this. Gave each of our older kids one last Christmas as well. Do not hesitate! Great peace of mind ! I had hoped we would never have to use this but thankful we had it !

Haven’t had to use it yet but it’s nice that my kids can use it if an emergency happens. Or that a babysitter or anyone can grab it if need be. Hopefully we will never have to use it but it’s nice we don’t need to get it inspected every year like you do with a fire hydrant.

Diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis three months ago. PT made pain worse. Absolutely love! It’s a wonderful lower back brace with medium stretchy but sturdy material and has what seems to be hard plastic boning in the back for extra support, meanwhile correcting posture issues. This is only mean to support or brace your lower back. Easy mobility and doesn’t lose its support. This is extremely common with other brands and different back braces. This ones support surprised me. There is even an elastic waist band with Velcro to hold it firmly in place and adjust to your body measurements or comfort level. It has very firm or sticky Velcro. I got my hair and a lace shirt stuck on it a few times. It is relatively easy to use because it has easy take off and put on access. Though as I said the Velcro is very firm or sticky and peeling it back is difficult. It’s a little bulky as well in the back but not too noticeable. It thins and shapes the waist. I’d say overall wearing it over a shirt at home or under your clothes at work, is a perfect use for this lower back brace.My back has really needed this!

i just bought a house for my son and his child and girlfriend. I as so happy to have these and they come with mounts that are easy to install. Everything was included just find a place to put it and screw it to the wall. The extinguisher just snaps into place easily mounts right into the hardware. Very sturdy and ready to use. I suggest every homeowner get one!

Seems like a good value for a two-pack. Haven’t had to actually use them yet, though, so can’t really give them 5 stars. Hopefully I won’t need them, but if I do, hopefully they’ll do the job! One minor nit-pick, the ring that needs to be removed to use them is really loose. If you tilt the extinguisher slightly to the side, such that the ring is tilted down, it will just fall out.

Well it works! I put out a horrible airfryer fire with it quickly. The airfryer was halfway melted down by the time I got to it and this extinguisher worked fast. Just ordered another one.

Petite little cuties that were the easiest install of any smoke detector ever. I had to replace all 6 in my house (they were 20 years old). The font in the instruction guide was micro, so I used a magnifying glass and the readability was fine. The are compatible with any room because their tiny size and profile keeps them un noticable. I tested each one before installing and they all function. The box came with all 6 smokes, all the needed screws, and 2 anchors of each smoke incase you need them. Very pleased

Got tired of my incompetent maintenance team servicing my apartment. Always installed faulty smoke alarms that would beep after a day nonstop or at random times of the day with no smoke or issues. Installed this myself and it’s hell of a lot easier than whatever brand they chose, it’s more user friendly with an easy as pie way to swap out batteries without having to unmount the alarm. Best part though? It’s been what, a month or more maybe since I’ve gotten it? Not a single unnecessary beep unless it ACTUALLY picks up on smoke. Its been quiet as a mouse and I no longer have to wake up in the middle of the night contemplating if it should eat a 9mm for breakfast. Very happy with this brand and this product and thank you for the beautiful sleep.

I bought this as a replacement for a 10-year old First Alert Smoke alarm in my son’s room. I was hoping it would just screw in to the existing bezel that comes with it but it is a lot different. So be prepared to remove and install the new one. I was able to use the same screw holes as the old one though, so it was nice to not have to make new holes in the wall. Seems to be a good quality, I had to jiggle the battery around to get it to engage. It is battery-operated so there is no wiring to mess around with and makes it easier to install. The alarm sound is loud (as it should be) and it doesn’t chirp randomly like my other one started doing (even after the battery was changed). This is a great brand and my last one lasted over 10 years and I still have other First Alert Smoke Alarms in the house that I test and are still going strong after 10 years.

Alarms arrived promptly and in good condition, packaged well. One caveat though, I highly recommend that you switch out the provided heavy duty 9 V batteries with your own fresh alkaline batteries. Reason being, one of the three detectors that I installed immediately started beeping a low battery warning, and upon testing the provided battery, it wasn’t dead but it was very weak. The other two with the provided battery tested very strongly and were good batteries. Bottom line, pull the heavy duties, use them in something besides a smoke detector, and slap in some alkalines just to be safe. Great smoke detectors though, for sure.

I have had First Alert hard wired smoke detectors in my home for the past 7 1/2 years. They work. I have never had a problem with them. I purchased this battery operated smoke detector because one of my hard wired smoke detectors is located 12 feet above a step in my stairway and will be very difficult to reach when the time comes that I need to replace it. I would rather spend a few dollars on a new battery operated smoke detector and spend the time installing it near the hard wired smoke detector than fall down a stairway and possibly kill myself. These First Alert smoke detectors are good products and are designed to save your life. So, whatever money you spend on them, it is money well spent.

Waited to review to make sure no problems with these, 4 months out and they still work perfect. These are replacements for 10yr no battery change type alarms that literally got a hammer taken to them to quiet one when it incessantly beeped for no reason after just a few months. Will never make that mistake again. Granted you have to buy batteries every 6 months for this model but I still highly recommend this First Alert SMl100. It’s loud, but only when it needs to be!

These TitanFlex disposable nitrile exam gloves are fantastic. They are thick and durable, but still flexible enough for detailed work. The 6-mil thickness gives great protection without tearing, even when handling rough or sharp objects. The black color looks clean and professional, and the fit is comfortable for long use. These gloves work great they fit perfectly. I ordered the 2X and I was able to work in them the entire day. I do a lot of painting. Easy to put on and take off without tearing or breaking excellent product. I will purchase again The 2X really really fit and felt like a 2X supposed to feel most of the time. 2x is still tight to put on

The gloves are good but might run a little small . I ordered large and they are a real tight fit . Other large sizes fit better .I think I will order some extra large and see how they fit .these will fit others around here so I will keep them.But even then they dint rip or tear putting them on or taking them off. they are tough . !

Continually buy for my husband. He’s a tow truck driver and these work great to help keep his hands clean as possible. I’ve also used to cook and clean up messes. Loose fitting and love that they don’t squeeze my hands and I can easily get them off.

I’ve used several pairs of these out of the box now, and so far I’m happy enough with the quality. I usually use these gloves when doing either yardwork or work on my car. I’m allergic enough to used motor oil (weird sensitivity, I know), but I’m horribly allergic to poison ivy. I have been working extensively to manually remove the poison ivy from my back yard, and these gloves have really been great in helping me pull vines (English ivy, Virginia creeper and poison ivy). The thickness is enough that I still have finger sensitivity, but don’t tear or get easily punctured by minor brambles. The durability is a big deal for me, since the second the perimeter is breached, that’s when I’m vulnerable to the poison ivy oils.

These gloves are great. The size was good. I was really surprised at the quality of them though. I purchased them to go through my cosmetology test and I used so many pairs and not a single one ripped or got a hole in it. The price is great especially for the quality and I will continue to purchase these.

These work very well and as expected. I bought the lowest decibel level and it’s all I need. They fit comfortably in my ear and stay in at night. Blocks out any outside noise or a snoring guest. I can also use them at a concert or if someone has the TV up way too loud. I can still hear the music and the dialogue just much more comfortably. I have excellent and very sensitive hearing so a real life saver when I’m away from home as well.

Best ear plugs. I love that you can customize your ear plugs to fit your ears with the different size ends. These block out noise very well. And they are comfortable to wear i can barely even tell i have them in my ears. Thank you for this excellent product! I will recommend to anyone who needs ear protection from nosie.

Much better than other brands I’ve tried. The soft construction means I can sleep on my side without my ear canal hurting. Could block a bit more noise. 33 dB NRR foam ear plugs block more noise, but have to be constantly replaced and if they fall out at night have to be replaced with a new pair. These Loop can be inserted or removed during the night with no loss of sound blocking.

Loved them but our time together was more a fling than a meaningful relationship. It did not last long.I received these on 7/13/25. By 10/01/25, the little arc had broken off one of the buds. The arc was flexible, not rigid-hard plastic, which made them comfortable to wear. Perhaps that’s its Achilles heel.I purchased these specifically to go on walks in the morning so they were used 3-5X per week, for about 1 hr each day.I enjoyed the price, its sound quality, the battery life, the fact that, yes, I could hear the ambient sounds around me (important for early morning walking), and even the discrete look to them (not big/flashy/bright).The best features were the ease of putting them on and how deceivingly secure they were—-these guys weren’t going anywhere! Again, I was just walking, not BMX-ing, bungee jumping, hang gliding, or doing anything strenuous, so I can’t speak to those activities, but for walking/light jogging, I thought I’d found what I’d been searching for years.The only negative I can think of is that once in a blue moon, the Bluetooth connection acted up, but now I’m thinking it may have been because the little wires were frayed/loose.I wish they would’ve lasted longer than they did because I really liked them. Other than having to separate them a little to go over the ear, and again to take them off, these guys lived in their little charging box and were not mistreated.There will hopefully be some others with a similar style and a reinforced arc—-I’ll have to zoom in on the pictures.I know the price was reasonable, so it may be worth it if you don’t wear them every day and d then they’ll last you for a longer time frame than they did for me.

This is my second pair of Loop earplugs and I absolutely love them.I have a hard time with insomnia but also being woken up by any and every noise. Clock ticking in the hallway, dogs barking, someone’s tv just a little too loud and I would get stuck focusing on it. These have done a great job at blocking out noise so that I’m able to get better sleep.I love that you get size choices for the plugs, and the material is soft and does not irritate my ears at all. They also come with a carrying case which is nice so you don’t lose them. Definitely recommend for the price to give them a try.

I work at a pharmaceutical company in the lab. My job is doing peer review of other analysts work so I need to be able to focus. I mostly got these because of an annoying coworker who likes to take long personal calls at their desk and others that tend to be loud. The foam earplugs the company provides just weren’t cutting it. I liked that these have different size ear pieces, I use the smalls. They work really well and are comfortable. They are super easy to use and care for. I love the storage case. Would definitely purchase again.

I am a nursing student. My sleep schedule is not normal. I’m also not a deep sleeper. On top of that, I’m living in noisy college dorms.These earplugs are mediocre. They do what they claim, muffling the bare minimum noise. The disposable foam earplugs block more sound. I did expect this because the foam ones do block a higher number of decibels. However, they’re really not as comfortable as I thought they would be. I did initially use plug sizes that were too large, which made my ears throb from pain the next morning. It felt a lot better after using smaller sizes. If you’re a side sleeper, it doesn’t matter if the plugs fit right; it can still hurt depending on how much pressure is on your ear.I have incredibly clean ears to the point that my doctors are always shocked at how I have genuinely zero visible wax. But this thing started REEKING of smell. I cleaned it with soap and water daily unless I forgot, yet this thing was STINKY. I figured out by chance that if I use dish soap, the smell instantly goes away, but it was disgusting. Clean your ears and plugs properly if you want to keep these things fresh.Oh, also, make sure you get these things deeper in your ears than you think. I’ve had them fall out of my ears in the middle of the night multiple times. They definitely hurt less and feel way more sustainable than the foam earplugs. They fall out way less than the foam ones. But honestly? Just wait until the holidays to purchase a better earplug. Maybe even a different, more comfortable model by Loop. I can see these being good for study sessions and travel, but I’d rather just put on my noise-cancelling headphones and listen to music.

Durable. And fit large hands. I wear a xxx large. It’s a blessing to have these durable and well fitting gloves.These are for basic yard work. Good grip but do not expect to handle thorns and lots of raw lumber. So as far as thickness I would say just above average. As to looks nice but I use these for basic years work and don’t really care about the look.

I love to garden, dig in the dirt and plant flowers in pots. These have extra padding the the spots where they’re needed the most, and the Velcro tab keeps them from slipping off your hand. They are flexible enough to hold a hose, weed eater and hand utensils like snippers. I had used other gloves with rubber (?) coatings and those coating get degraded, making the fingers stick together. And you CAN use a touch screen with these. The price is reasonable, given the extra protection for the most-used spots.

I do extensive yard work projects and although I’ve always bought what seemed like high quality gloves, I’ve consistently worn threw leather enforced finger tips and needed to replace my expensive gloves too often. The price for these caught my attention. I got 2 pair for about half what I’ve been paying for one. They arrived promptly and feel like they are as tough as I need them to be. To be fair, it is no longer gardening season, but I think these are a great buy
