    update after leaving the review:seller offered full refund and that means a lot. maybe i just got a dud and good customer service means a loti got this to use on my dog’s toenails but the tip/stem likes to slide out and i can’t seem to fully secure it for more than a minute. the battery indicator is weird too. it’ll appear fully charged when it’s not. i’m still going to keep it because it’s useful and better than my old corded one. it came with a lot of different tips/accessories so that’s a plus for crafty shoppers. i like being able to adjust the speed because my dog isn’t very patient. i wouldn’t have gotten it if it wasn’t a good value for the money.

    I am an elder female & cut my own toenails monthly. I hate clippers & files so decided to try this after using a similar tool for my dogs’ nails. This works great! Should have thought of this decades ago. I put it on the lowest setting & admittedly, I do have a steady, artistic hand, & can reach my feet with ease. I found sitting on my shower seat outside the tub with my foot resting on the tub but inside (lots of ‘dust’) worked best. I also ground away the callus on each foot with ease.I struggled to figure out how to get the tool bit into the tool properly, but finally accidentally got it correct. Instructions suck. Or maybe I’ve just lost too many brain cells. You try (you’ll need a magnifying device to read directions sheet). I have always enjoyed tools (come from a ‘car family’) so this is the best I’ve found for trimming hard, brittle, thick toenails. Oh, I used the cylindrical sand paper sleeve, of which they give you several, but there are plenty of choices for other bits that could also be used. No vibration in my hand & not loud, especially on low. I’ve spent more on one toenail clipper set, so this is a much more multi-function value for the money.

    The accessories are not worth it, you’re going to want better ones and the case they come in takes up most of the space in the tool case but the tool case itself is pretty nice.The tool is better than I expected – battery life is great and it recharges quickly taking up to 750ma from USB-c. The unit is light weight and nicely shaped for detail work.It’s not terribly powerful but it’s adequate. I have a 40yo Dremel purchased right after they got rid of the oiling port for the bronze bushing so it’s worn out and the shaft oscillates in the bearing sleeve but it’s still capable of doing grunt work.

    I’m a newbie at using this type of tool and using it on small wood crafts. I think it’s well built. The tool is surprisingly quiet. I haven’t had a chance to give the battery a real test but it’s worked fine so far. Cordless is a big plus. For wood, I wish it was a bit more powerful. I find when it gets overloaded it just stops. It’s telling me it’s limit and I back off. I just start it again and lighten my pressure and we continue. The piece I’m working on is 1″ by 2″ and I needed to use a power tool and wood carving knives to rough it out – it can’t handle that – but it seems to work fine for the detailing. It comes with lots of bits and I haven’t had a chance to try all of them but the ones I tried work as expected. I paid $20 – for that price it exceeds my expectations.

    I love this kit. There’s not a lot of weight to it so it’s very portable. I think it’s built pretty well. The ratcheting feature works pretty well good quality. Overall, the box itself could use better lock in feature for the bottom have because the bits don’t lock in very well and if you don’t lay the whole kit down flat, they will be everywhere. The handle is very sturdy good and durable. And could use more variety when it comes to sizes because some of the sizes you will never really have to use and it’s missing some very common and needed sizes.

    I needed a small inexpensive set of metric sockets. I selected this set mainly due to the bit-sockets. I’ve never seen that sort of configuration for bits. Also all the other special pieces – sliding T-bar & universal joint.The quality of these tools is about what you would expect for something selling for less than twenty dollars. But, it’s more than adequate for most light-duty sort of work. I would recommended it for something to keep in a desk drawer at work/office. The case is small and compact and doesn’t take up a lot of space.

    I ordered this tool set because I like having simple tool sets in my work truck as well as at home so im never having to search for tools. I liked the price point on this set and fast shipping, and noticed it gets mostly great reviews. One of the big pluses is that it includes an adapter for angled work. I didnt have one of those before, so its nice to have it in case I need to get at a screw or nut thats at an angle or in a tight corner or something. The reason I knocked a star off is because of the CASE. Some of the attachements fit too loose in the case, they dont SNAP in, so they just fall out all over the place if youre not really careful. Usually I have the opposite problem with tool cases, they tend to hold the bits and pieces TOO tightly and I have to PRY them out. But I would rather have that problem than this one. Still,its a GREAT deal for a set of VERY useful tools that seem to cover most of the more common household/ auto small jobs. I recommend.

    I bought this product after seeing others using it or similar with their smokers. It works well. For some reason it wouldn’t work with the Bernzomatic brand propane tanks that I had, but was fine with Coleman. I really don’t prefer using it to start my coals, but it’s come in handy when I wasn’t paying attention to my temp and my fire went out, I was able to get it going quickly and save my cook. I’ve also decided to give it a try to get rid of overgrown weeds in my raised garden bed…..I must say that was quite a bit of fun.

    It seems like it is a quality torque wrench, works fine, good price, and looks nice, including the black plastic case. Very happy with it. Used for torquing trailer hitch ball to 250 ft-lbs, and will use next time I swap winter wheels on a Tesla, just to make it easier (129 ft-lbs). I have a shorter torque wrench that goes to 150 ft-lbs that I used previously, but this one being longer will make it a bit easier.

    I recently picked up the LEXIVON Inch Pound Torque Wrench and I’m really impressed. It feels solid and well-built, thanks to the heat-treated Chrome Vanadium steel, and the Electro-Black finish gives it a premium, durable look. The dual-range scale with bright yellow markings is super easy to read, even in low light, which makes adjustments quick and hassle-free. It comes pre-calibrated with a certificate, so I can trust the accuracy right out of the box. The grip is comfortable and secure, and the reversible ratchet head works smoothly.     Measured the torque wrench with a bench vice & fish scale at 10, 20, 35 and 40 ft-lbs. Readings were surprisingly accurate for the cost of this wrench. Well within the 4% specs. How long will the wrench last? I don’t know–but for the 10 or so times a year I’ll use it, the wrench seems like a great value. The clicks at the lower end of the scale (e.g. 10 ft-lbs) are somewhat faint, but in the middle of the range the clicks register solidly. Take your time and you notice them for sure. Also the yellow on black print is super easy to read!

    The product is nice quality and seems to work well. The company offers a 2 year warranty, but only if you register at time of purchase. The product registration site is among the worst I’ve experienced – asking for information that is annoying to obtain, making it very difficult to find the particular product in a long list with no search function.

Comes with an injection molded case for safe storage. There is an audible and physical click on both these wrenches, just take your time and go slow and pay attention to hear and feel the click. I’ve used these wrenches in torquing down on bolts, nuts or spark plugs using the smaller 3/8” drive wrench; as well as my truck lug-nuts that the larger 1/2” drive wrench took care of no problem. I love the sleek black color and the bright yellow highlight for the ticks and numbers as far as cosmetics.     I’ve owned couple different affordable 1/4 inch torque wrenches, but this one is by far the best one I’ve used. I’ve used brand name ones before but they have gotten super expensive, so this one is my alternative. More cheaper one are not accurate and they usually over-tighten the fasteners. This one is rather close but not sure if this one is out of spec or my really old beam-style wrench is.It’s very easy to use, fairly compact so you can use it in tight spot (I used to tightened my valve cover nuts). Only complaint I have is the click is soft, both feel and sound. So go slow if you think torque value is coming up or you’ll over tighten it.

    A few months ago I decided that the cheap Ikea bookcases I bought as a student weren’t cutting it anymore, and having three different sizes and colors probably wasn’t the look I was going for anyway. I carefully measured up for some bespoke replacements, bought the lumber and set about making. Unfortunately, and typically, I was woefully unequipped and the resulting shelves were best viewed from a distance. While leaning at a slight angle. Jumping onto Amazon I quickly found these and the next time I was prepared. The strong springs keep the wood at a 90 degree angle, allowing me to verify with a level and carpenter square. They also held everything nicely in place while the glue set. End result – infinitely better shelves. Now I need to deal with the fact that my floor isn’t quite level.These would be perfect for any work that requires 90 degree construction. Drawers, cabinets, whatever. I wish I’d had bought these before doing any of the work but you live and learn!Now the cons. The grips that pull the springs back come off easily (I’ve glued them) which can result in it being more difficult to hold the clamp open. Also, they have a nice feature where the internal corner piece can be adjusted so that wood of different thicknesses can be joined. I’ve had to be careful a few times to make sure I situate this correctly so I can get a proper 90 degrees. This is not a substitute for measuring, cutting, and leveling!

    The Klein Tools 11 in 1 screwdriver is one of those tools that is simply worth having. You can see the quality from the first use. The grip is comfortable, firm and non-slip, even when working with sweaty hands or in uncomfortable spaces.The best thing is versatility. In a single body you have several tips and dice that are changed quickly, without play or slack. Ideal for electricity, maintenance, electronics and repairs in general.     Get this. Get two. I keep one driver complete, and the other I removed the bits so I have a dedicated nut driver (it is easy to loose bits so I took care of that situation!)–the extra bits are my backup/replacement bits for the other screwdriver. Outstanding quality, super handy to have and use, and is my go to tool! I can virtually disassemble an RV with this tool alone. At the price point, two of these make a great investment and smart addition to your kit. At this price point, they make great gifts for family, friends, or as “swag” for really good customers. If you are a realtor, get a case of these and give these to new home buyers/renters. I gave one to my daughter who just moved into her new home and she’s already wearing it out! For professionals, this is a quality tool that will become a favorite of yours. Enjoy!
  • Decent basic driver
    I bought this Klein multi bit screwdriver to have a spare around the house, and it’s hard to find much fault with it. It’s a basic driver with a handful of bits, that doesn’t ratchet or have any moving parts that are likely to break. It’s sturdy enough that I expect it to survive a bit of abuse over time.I’m not personally going to use every bit that it has, but it has two sized of Philips and 2 sizes of slotted bits, and that’s enough for most regular jobs around the house.The bits seem fine to me, the grip is okay enough, and the screwdriver has some weight to it without being overly heavy.The only two things I’d say about this is it may be tough if you have wet or sweaty hands. The grip is round so even though I haven’t really experienced it, I can see a scenario where it might spin in the hand. A different shape or other contours could help with that.On a similar note, changing bits isn’t overly difficult, but I could also see a situation in which someone with arthritis or someone with slippery hands might have trouble switching between bits. This isn’t a huge problem while in use unless you’re switching back and forth a lot, but it’s worth being aware of. If you want to change bits you may want to do it before you get into your work.Neither of these are huge issues to me, but they’re worth noting. I’m happy with the driver overall, and it’s something I feel better about beating up a little if it comes down to it, compared to some of my others that are either cheaper quality and might break, or more expensive and might get ruined from getting gunked up in the case of ratcheting mechanisms.

    This is a great driver, for the price point and what you get. If you had to pick one screwdriver to keep in the nearby drawer for everyday tasks (I did) this is the one. It has the various heads for common uses around the house. I reach for it often. It’s not the fanciest or best for any single specific task. For that, I have to go all the way out to the garage and hit up the overflowing tool chest of wonders. But as a single, simple tool that can do a lot of things well, it’s about perfect. Saves space, time and effort. Everyone should have one. Perfect one stop grab for everyday, simple stuff around the house. Throw one in that kitchen drawer. I use it a lot.
