  • At a loss for words
Warning, it’s a long read, but I wanted to go into deep detail. To start, I have been a Rainbow vacuum user for so long. I love them and felt they worked amazingly.Next, I have 3 dogs & a cat. One is a thick coat lab and the cat sheds so much as well.Another next, I have horrible allergies and wanted something that would help keep them calm as well. I also have a lung disease and need something that will pick up as much junk as possible to keep them clear. Now, on to the Shark vacuum.I got tired of lugging around the Rainbow and wanted to look into a vacuum that my daughter could use and help out.I found this Shark vacuum and 6 others that grabbed my attention.I dug deep. I read through every review, good, bad, indifferent.I wanted a vacuum that was going to truly pick up pet hair/dander, as well as pick up sand & dirt.I was drawn to this specific vacuum saying pet & allergen vacuum and loved that so many of the reviews said it had amazing suction power.I thought there’s no way ut can be as amazing as most were raving about. After 2 months of digging and narrowing down vacuums, I was left with this one. I finally decided to purchase it and see what all the fuss was about. It came in today and I immediately out it together to the it out.I had just vacuumed with my Rainbow vacuum 2 days before, so I didn’t expect much.Oh….my….gosh…! I am blown away! Seriously, no joke! The picture you see attached was after 2 passes over a 2′ x 2′ area in my living room. Not kidding…pushed it forward, pulled it back. Did this one other time. I was completely astonished! There is no way my carpet is that dirty after using my Rainbow 2 days before! I swore by that vacuum and how great of a job it did, so I thought. This vacuum pulled out dirt, sand, pet fur from 3 families ago, it seems lol.I immediately took this picture and dumped the resivoir since it was full.I was excited to finish the rest of my living room and then move on to the rest of the house. It took me 30 minutes to vacuum my living room because I had to keep stopping to empty the reservoir. I am grossed out that it was that dirty, but so grateful that I purchased this Shark vacuum. The vacuum is super easy to put together. It’s not heavy and is easy to use.I love that it has the large vacuum and the option to break it down to a hand held vacuum to get baseboards and hard to reach areas.I also love that the power switch has 3 positions; Off, Bare floor, and carpet.I love that there is a place on the vacuum for hose attachments.I love that the power cable is quite long.I love that it’s compact enough to fit in my coat closet, but large enough to vacuum the living room quicker than the sport vacuum. It makes vacuuming a breeze. The price is amazing for being a Shark vacuum. This vacuum is so amazing that I finished vacuuming, rinsed the resivoir and filter, put it away, and immediately sat down to write this review.Seriously give this vacuum a try!Your only regret is that you didn’t get it sooner.I will update this review if anything changes.I am convinced this is the perfect vacuum.
  • Amazing vacuum. Beats out my older Bissell 2999.
I actually was in the market for a new vacuum as there were parts breaking on my Bissell 2999. (Dust buildup inside the motor housing leading to bearing whine, brush roller wear that required modification to prevent additional damage, as well as handle damage that prevented the vacuum handle from staying locked in place and later being unable to be removed as it got jammed slightly at an angle.)Moving on, this is actually a step up, despite having got it at a substantially lower price (99 dollars verse the original Bissell 2999 price being around 200 dollars.) I wanted something that people praised for higher reliability, and this advertised a limited 5 year warranty. I got it, because 99 for a well reviewed vacuum was excellent in idea. I then looked at reviews all over the internet only to find out more and more that the Shark NV360 was way better than expected. My only caveats to date are that it has a smaller agitator head, and that it doesn’t come with a agitator attachment, you’d need to get the Pro version NV356E to get the agitator attachment. It does come with a smaller crevasse tool and a very functional upholstery tool that also worked very very well on the stairs.Suction on this vacuum is amazing. Especially compared to my Bissell 2999. I have Hoover and Bissell Vacuums, and the 2999 was better than my previous vacuums, but oddly not better than this current one from Shark, the NV360 just to keep things clear. The hose diameter is larger, and that typically means less pressure for most vacuums, however, that is not the case here. You really need to be careful when using the attachments as it will suck up a sock you may have got too close too and it’ll all be too fast to recover from anywhere other than the dust bin.Emptying the dustbin is more involved than my Bissell and Hoover vacuums, where a single button press allows you to pull the bin from its’ resting place. In the case of the Shark, you will need to undo two latches that secure the bin in place, but while I thought this would be a bigger problem it has not been. Installing the bin has been a bigger issue than removing it but the process is still really simple. The dual latch does offer the better seal though as it allows for more uniform pressure on the seal under neath and keeps the dust flowing down. It does seem that the foam prefilter would need more cleans than my Bissell 2999 required, but I found that dust released from the Bissell system would agitate my nose a touch, because allergies, while I have had zero incidents of that with the shark. (The Bissell 2999 was still the best I had before I got this NV360 for allergies I experienced, I just thought it was because it was kicking something up but dust patterns formed later in its’ life showing it was some dust leakage.)Moving this around is easier than the Bissell 2999 as well, but that is partially because the base is smaller. Both were swivel style vacuums but the NV360 does better on tighter turns than the Bissell. The smaller head seems to also focus more of the dust into the dust bin. Going over areas the Bissell seamed done with, I found that there was still a ton of dirt and dust embedded into the carpet even after 8 passes with the Bissell. I only knew there was more because even though I wasn’t getting anything more on the 8th pass with the Bissell, going over the same area with the NV360 showed there was still a lot of dust left in the carpet. The Bissell did get all the dog hair though and there was only dust and dirt that the shark was able to extract. (This also lead me to do a carpet clean though, as I have a Bissel carpet cleaner that I really like and I finished the job with that.)My lesson learned though is that even with a great vacuum like the Shark or my previous best Bissell, you may have to vacuum more often than every 3-4 days as that dirt just keeps getting deeper if you dont.Moving on, I am actually very impressed and absolutely can recommend this vacuum to anyone who needs something better. I absolutely can recommend it to anyone who has allergies like me as well. Best vacuum to date. Side note though, when researching vacuums, I did find that the Shark Stratos and Rotator options are more amazing when it comes to airflow and pressure as well as large objects and long hair, but they are between 200 and 300 dollars. For me this is the best option for now, especially seeing it was only 99 dollars when I got it.
  • BEST Vacuum Cleaner, EVER !!
This is by FAR the VERY BEST Vacuum Cleaner, I’ve ever had! And that’s after my 40+ years of using at least a dozen other varieties of vacuum cleaners. As reported, this one does EXCEL at cleaning carpets! I have several area rugs, and had already “cleaned” them last week with my other vacuum cleaners. However, this new Shark Upright, within minutes, picked up tons of scungy dust and debris from these already “cleaned” area rugs. VERY HAPPY. Arrived in perfect condition. TEN (10) Stars !! Maneuvers great, has strong power, works great, & is not heavy, and is not noisy.

  • Fantastic at sucking up pet hair from carpets!
I’ve had this vacuum 3 months now and I’m really impressed. I’ve had Shark vacuums for years now and I usually get their pet, upright vacuums. When my last one died I was looking for similar and wasn’t finding a “pet” one at the time, but this kept popping up and seemed the closest. I really was not sold on the auto-emptying station and thought that was unnecessary…but after 3 months of daily use, I love it. Is it needed? No. But does it make life a little easier – yup! I was the worst about finishing up vacuuming and not emptying the vacuum and having to empty it mid vacuum the next time, but this handles that problem and I really love that about it. I do have to remember to empty the bin on the base, but I usually remember before it’s too full (usually, not always). I bought an extra set of filters for the vacuum and base and find that so far they need to be swapped out/cleaned about every 1.5 months (as i’m coming up to my next swap out).As for the way it works on pet hair – AMAZING! In our household we have 3 long hair cats, 2 golden retrievers and a goldendoodle that sheds worse than both goldens combined. It’s the best vacuum for pet hair i’ve tried yet. I was really shocked that it got the dog hair off the carpet and backdoor rug that does not like to give up the hair no matter what i’ve tried. I use to vacuum my living area rug and then take one of those pet hair rakes to it to get the hair off, but this vacuum picks up all the visible hair so I haven’t even felt the need to do the pet rake.It has 3 modes and I find I use the eco mode the most. The mid-range mode has so much suction it sucks up my smaller area rugs and the rollers stop working, so I just use eco mode on those and they are low/no pile so it works really well. When I get to the living room area rug it’s considered a low pile (but plush) and I use the mid-range mode that auto speeds up the brush, and it picks up the pet hair great. On my backdoor mat that is one of those heavy duty get-the-water-and-mud-off rugs from HD, I use mode 3 and that gets it all off in a few swipes.Things I wish they would change on future models: I wish it just started on eco mode and not the mid-range mode. Or at the very least started where you left off the last use. I wish there was a way to boost the suction while on eco mode like my last Shark did. That little trigger boost was really handy.Battery life is good. Suction is great. It’s just really a fantastic vacuum and i’m very happy with my purchase and will hopefully have it for many years like my pervious Sharks.
  • Perfect Vacuum for Anyone
I love this vacuum so much that I ended up buying another one for my parents. It’s easy to use, lightweight, and has great suction. It picks up everything without feeling bulky or heavy. Definitely worth it!
  • Amazing Vacuum, battery could last a little longer though
I love that this is cordless, lightweight, and works very well. The accessories are easy to change out. My only complaint is that the battery lasts only about 30 minutes when you run it on high. However, when running it on high, it picks up light, dusty footprints from my hardwood floors, so it doesn’t bother me too much. The battery run time is just about perfect for getting my living room, dining room, and kitchen floors done in one charge. The battery charges pretty quickly, so after it charges I’m able to get my other three rooms done. It’s easy to switch from carpet to hard floors with just the slide of a switch. I’ve had it for about a month and have only had to empty the canister twice. I don’t have it memorized yet on how to empty the canister, but there are instructions on the vacuum itself, so it’s not a big deal. It also does a good job of picking up hair, whether it’s my fine, thin hair, my son’s curly hair, or the leftover pet hair from my home’s previous owner’s four little dogs.
  • My new favorite vacuum
Love this vacuum. I’ve used it about 3 times since receiving it 2 weeks ago. The battery holds a charge sufficient to vacuum the main floor of our 3br house and put away with some charge left.My long hair wraps around the bar but there’s a trough in the bar so removing it after each use is easy. It picks up pet hair like a champ.I love Sharks. We have 3 now but this is the only one I use upstairs anymore. It’s light, easy to empty, and does a great job. I can vacuum our hardwood, tile, and carpets in about 15 minutes.
  • This vacuum is amazing with great suction! I saw a store using on their doormat.
We have a bunch of large door floor mats in front of several doors in the house, plus some walkway doorways that collect dirt and lint balls on the carpet. Always a big project getting out the canister vacuum, hose, and carpet floor unit to vacuum, so they don’t get vacuumed as often as they should. A few weeks ago I’m walking out of a local large grocery store and see one of this model of Shark stick vacuum being used on their entry doorway floor mat. I took a look and remembered “Rocket” on the carpet unit, then tracked the stick vac down here and at a big box home store. What really caught my attention was the clear plastic “catch bin” at the top! Seemed like exactly the right thing in the right place, and clear so I could see what was being picked up. Well yep, having bought one, it works even better than expected! The various comments here, before I bought, said you have to pull the “high suction” trigger to get sufficient power on carpets, and that drains the battery faster. BOTH TRUE, BUT WHEN YOU DO THAT THIS THING SUCKS LIKE CRAZY! I’m impressed with what was in the catch bin and what I could see coming up from the carpets and mats. Small bits like cat litter, large bits of stuff, lint, hairs, everything on the mats and rug walkways. I vacuumed two carpet areas in in doorways between rooms that always accumulate a lot of dirt. Then vacuumed 3 of the door mats. Then vacuumed part of a sunroom carpet where a bunch of cats live. Even on the “high suction” the battery was only 2/3 gone after all that (there are 3 LEDs that tell you charge/discharge level) but I stopped because it looked like the catch bin might be full. This was first use and I wasn’t sure. Yep, completely full, and that is a large bin! One thing: INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT CLEAR THAT THE CATCH BIN EMPTIES WITH A TRAP DOOR ON ITS BOTTOM, WHEN YOU PRESS THE EMPTY LEVER. SO IT WILL DUMP RIGHT INTO YOUR LAP IF YOU DON’T KNOW THAT UPFRONT, LIKE HAPPENED TO ME. 🙂 Luckily it was close enough to my lap that the suddenly-open trap door hit my leg and only opened about an inch, limiting how much came out until I could move it and me to the trash can. 🙂 Knowing how it works now, I just hold it over the trash can then trigger the bottom door release. Which is really great, you don’t have to turn the catch bin upside down and shake or such. There isn’t a printed set of “word” instructions with the unit, it is one of those picture instruction pamphlets. For the most part that works, as in: assemble the stick pipe into the floor unit, then the vacuum head onto the stick pipe. There apparently is a QR code on the top than can be scanned for more instructions. Pro tip: the inside of the catch bin will be dusty after you empty. I used a “computer air” spray can (for PC keyboards and such) to blow out the inside and top. There is no way to get the unit to self-stand that I’ve found, for storage, as other comments here have noted. I found two cabinets with a space between them wide enough to set this unit in upright. Done! Even has a plug nearby for the charger. Those LEDs near the “suction trigger” show you how the charging is coming along. 3 of them that light in sequence as it charges, then they all go off when completely charged. Charges reasonably fast. At a local big box home store I saw this unit in person, plus a whole bunch of other brands and models. Yep, I “showroomed” then ordered here for $30 less. :/ None of the brands and models had that nice, large, clear catch bin at the top back like this one has. Several brands had black or opaque catch bins and they were located in odd places. Why? To make sure I won’t be able to see how full it is getting? Guys! 🙂 This vacuum is great, for what it is, a quick and fairly powerful unit to quickly clean floor mats, doorways, and other small areas. Probably not the ideal thing for your entire living room rug, although could do it with a few re-charges and catch bin empties. Summary: just buy it already! 🙂 A+++++

First let me say I don’t normally take time to write reviews but I just had to share my story because I’m still giddy about how well this machine worked.I recently purchased a beautiful cream, designer chair at a furniture consignment shop and the lighting must have been bad in the store because I didn’t notice at all that it was quite dirty. I was just so excited that it was exactly what I had been looking for – color, size, style and price! When I got it home it was perfect in every way EXCEPT the off-white that was so perfect in the fluorescent lighting was a dingy EWWW in the natural light of our living room. I took the armrest covers off and YUCK! I noticed how dirty the arms were and then noticed that I hadn’t looked that closely on the store – there were spots all over the chair! The store doesn’t take returns AND I loved everything about the chair except the grime and spots (how did I not notice those in the store???) so I googled best upholstery cleaner and the BISSELL Little Green Machine showed up as top-rated in multiple blogs so I searched for it on Amazon. It had awesome reviews confirming what the blogs has said so I ordered it.It came super-fast and was easy to set up. I got to work. Well, my sweet husband got to work. My plan was to have him handle the task as he’s usually in charge of the grimy stuff. Love that man. ????????Well I had no idea cleaning upholstery could be so fun! This little machine sucked the grime right out! It was really satisfying to see it get sucked out right before my eyes. Before my husband knew it, he was free to watch his baseball game because I had taken over. When I was finished the cream chair looked like new!And I didn’t stop there.I had a 14-year old blue chair in my home office that had weathered two babies, lots of journaling and phone conversations with my feet tucked up underneath me, latte spills and just…a full life! Our whole family loves mommy’s blue chair as it’s where good conversations and snuggles have happened my kids’ entire lives. When we recently remodeled our home I was looking for a new chair for myself. My whole family protested because they loved it so much. It bummed me out because – well LOOK at the “before” photos of the blue chair I posted. Our whole house was clean and fresh from the much-needed after 17 years in the house remodel. Having to look at that chair, as much as I loved the memories of it, grossed me out.So when I finished the cream chair I thought, I’m going to see what the BISSELL Little Green Machine could do for the blue chair. I figured, worst case scenario it would make it worse and then I’d HAVE to get my new chair. ????I honestly didn’t think it would make a difference. I had actually had a professional rug + upholstery cleaner look at it and say he couldn’t do anything to make it look better just two months ago during the remodel. So despite seeing the INCREDIBLE results on the cream chair, my expectations were low. Additionally, this was an inexpensive chair with a sueded microfiber fabric – not nearly as well made as the cream chair so I wasn’t sure if the not super-sturdy fabric would withstand the cleaning fluid or brush.I was blown away. As you can see by the Before and After photos – the BISSELL mighty little machine did an amazing job!!! The blue chair is saved and we are ALL excited. Yes, even me. ???? I just wish I would have taken videos of cleaning the blue chair – the water was SO dirty. GROSS!Again though, it was SO satisfying throughout the process to see the dirt come out and have brand new chairs. This machine is WELL worth the very reasonable price and I also absolutely love being able to restore two chairs rather than buy new ones. Less landfill and consumerism to help the planet. And the pocketbook!!!A little technique scoop (if you’re still reading) – on the cream chair we sprayed the cleaning water from the machine on the area, then sprayed Resolve and let it sit for a minute or two before we sucked up the dirt. The Resolve did make the dirty water in the tank pretty foamy and I’m not sure if it could damage the machine or the chair but when we tried it we were kind of thinking we didn’t have anything to lose as the fabric was so grungy when we got it home to natural light, we would not have kept the chair if the BISSELL didn’t work. The machine seems totally fine and of course the chair is now clean and beautiful!I could not possibly love this little machine more and now I can feel much more confident with all of our new carpet and furniture because if we get a spill or a stain this lightly little green machine will take care of it!I highly recommend the BISSELL Little Green Machine!
  • The Little Green That Saves Big Messes
⭐ OverviewThe Bissell Little Green Pet Deluxe is a compact, handheld “spot cleaner” designed for tackling small wet/dry messes—especially pet-related stains—on upholstery, carpets, car interiors, and stairs. According to the manufacturer, it includes tools like a 3” Tough Stain Tool, a Stain Trapper Tool, and a HydroRinse self-cleaning hose attachment. ⸻✅ Pros (What Works Well)1. Effective on Spot StainsUsers and independent reviews often testify that it does a good job removing fresh spills, pet stains, or tracked-in dirt. For example, Good Morning America noted that after some scrubbing, the machine lifted ketchup and dirt stains on rugs and upholstery. 2. Portable & Easy to ManeuverIts size and design make it convenient to carry around, go up stairs, and reach small or awkward areas. Many people like that it’s not as bulky as full-size carpet cleaners. 3. Useful Accessories• The Stain Trapper Tool is a smart add-on: it collects the messy liquid messes separately, letting you dispose of them without contaminating the main tank. • The HydroRinse hose cleaning tool helps flush out the hose after use, reducing the chance of mildew or odor buildup. 4. Good Suction & Spray for Spot TasksIt offers decent suction power for a unit of this size and sprays cleaning solution while vacuuming, making it a “spray-scrub-suction” tool. 5. Affordable as a Supplementary CleanerIt’s not meant to replace deep-cleaning systems, but for spot jobs, it offers a cost-effective option. ⸻⚠️ Cons & Limitations (What to Watch Out For)1. Limited Tank / VolumeBecause it’s compact, you’ll often find yourself refilling or emptying the tank during more extensive tasks. This is fine for small jobs but not ideal if you’re cleaning large areas. 2. Drying Time RequiredSurfaces will get wet in the process, so you’ll need to allow time for them to dry. For thick fabrics or deep carpets, drying can be slow. 3. Hair Clogging & MaintenanceUsers with pets report the brush heads and suction paths can clog with fur, necessitating cleaning after every use to maintain performance. 4. Short Hose & Awkward PartsSome users on forums criticize the hose as being too short, making it cumbersome in certain contexts. Also, some parts (like the round reservoirs) may make it awkward to fill or stand upright during setup. >“You can’t put it down to fill the water reservoir. And the hose is too short … Always opt for parts that you don’t need two hands to make stand up on their own.” 5. Not a Replacement for Deep CleanersIt’s designed for spot jobs. Set-in stains, deeply soiled carpets, or full-room cleans may outperform its capabilities. Many reviewers still recommend a full-size or professional system for serious jobs. ⸻???? Overall VerdictIf your goal is spot cleaning, especially for pet messes on upholstery, stairs, or car seats, the Bissell Little Green Pet Deluxe is a solid tool. It’s not perfect, but in its niche, it performs well:• It’s a great “emergency / between deep-cleans” option.• It handles common stains, pet accidents, and small spills with reasonable efficiency.• It’s compact and relatively easy to store.Just be aware of its limitations: small tank size, need for maintenance (especially with pet hair), and drying time. If you frequently clean large carpets or want a deeper full-room clean, you’ll still need a more powerful unit.

  • Bissell Little Green Mini never disappoints!!!
I bought a Bissell Little green machine over 30 years ago and absolutely loved it. I left it with my ex-wife when we divorced 20 years ago and am sorry I did. It lasted at least 10 years that I am sure of. I knew I would love this one just as much, and it did not disappoint. This works great on just about any kind of spill or mess. I was working a 12 hour night shift from 6pm to 6am so the inside of my truck got neglected big time. I have coffee, food, dirt, and lord knows what else that has stained the seats and carpet over the years. I have cleaned the center seat cushion only, as you can see in the pictures. I forgot to take a picture before I started so the first picture, is after the first application. Trust me, it was 10 times worse. I wet down the cushion with the mixture of water and stain remover from the applicator nozzle. Then I scrubbed it with a separate scrub brush with stiffer bristles because I was afraid of wearing out the ones on the stain tool applicator. I then went over the cushion with the suction applicator and squeezed the spray trigger as I went. After a few applications the dirt water reservoir was full. See second picture. The third picture is what the cushion looked like after. Huge difference as you can see in the pictures. I repeated the whole process one more time. In the fourth picture, you can see the water is still pretty dirty. The fifth and last picture you can barely see the stains any more. I will be repeating the process one more time and I’m sure it will look like it was new again. The suction is powerful and recovers most of the water and dirt. The machine stops sucking when the dirty water reservoir is full so you know when it is time to empty it. The spay nozzle puts out just the right amount of liquid for the suction to pick up. If your going too slow and notice the liquid running down the fabric, just release the trigger. The clean reservoir has a water fill mark and spot remover fill mark for easy measuring. The dirty water reservoir has a max fill mark just in case the suction does not automatically turn off. Cleanup is super easy with the HydroRinse tool. I just wish they had a spot to store it on the machine. I see it getting lost if I am not careful. I can see this lasting many years if I take care of it. This was a great value for the money. I don’t think I paid half as much for the one I had over 30 years ago but that is inflation for you. Hmm, I wonder if it is still working.
  • If anything… it works TOO good! ????
Maybe buying a white couch in a houseful of pets may have not been a well advised decision. BUT, the BISSELL Little Green Mini Cleaner WAS a good decision! As the title suggests, it cleans a little TOO well. I went to do a spot clean on the couch, and afterwards it was SO obviously clean that I had to clean the entirety of the couch to match. For the price and size, it is perfect. Excellent for spot cleaning, but don’t expect to do a large area. The solution tank is pretty small and only holds enough to do a single cushion. If you’re doing a larger area than that, you will need to continuously change both the solution and waste. It should be noted, several reviewers say that the suction is not acceptable. I found that the suction was very good until the waste container reached maximum. At that point all suction was lost. If you plan to do anything more than a very small area, you will need to change the solution and waste containers often. Furthermore, due to the small cleaning head, I found that it took a bit more scrubbing effort than you might think to achieve the desired results. As such it may be difficult to use for someone with impaired hand strength.Very happy with the purchases over all.
  • Great if you have pets!
This thing is amazing!!! I have two corgis that sleep in the bed with me and sometimes they have little accidents. Well, we had one this morning and I grabbed my little handy dandy Bissel little green mini portable carpet and upholstery deep cleaner, and it got the pee out of my mattress!!! I highly recommend this if you have pets of any kind!!! It is worth every single penny. It has a great sprayer and even though you spray a lot (I know I do) it seems like nothing is taken out of the tank! And all you have to do is scrub a little and then suck it up! And it reached all way from one end of the room to the other which was fantastic! I do wish that you didn’t have it on to use the sprayer but that is an ok thing also I thought it would be a little bit quieter than what it is. BUT it is worth the purchase I promise!!!!!
  • Small but mighty
This thing is small but mighty. I have tried multiple things to get rid of cat urine on carpet, this did the job. Out of curiosity, I decided to use it on a stain that was several years old, it got it right up. You really have to put your back into it for stairs. I felt like I did an upper body workout, and was sore for days. I didn’t have any issues with clogs. I have dogs and cats, so fur was going to happen. It’s super easy to clean. The spray nozzle did way more than I expected. I didn’t experience any leaks, but I’ve only used it twice. The suction is ok. I did have to go over places multiple times. 100% worth what I paid for it. If it’s supposed to heat up, I didn’t notice it.
  • Does the job!
I waited until a black Friday deal to purchase this for $74.99. It is the BEST $75 I have spent in my life. I have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 kids, a husband and white couches. Needless to say, I was in desperate need of this little miracle product. This thing is amazing!!! I just cleaned my ottoman with it 4 times, and the amount of dirt and filth that came out of my ottoman was disgusting. I should have taken photos. When I have more time later, I will be cleaning my white couches. I wish I would have bought this thing much sooner. Thank you, Bissell, for an affordable product that gets the job done.

  • Impressive.
I used this on my glass-top stove and it worked great. I’ve used brillo (gently), I’ve used 409, I’ve used Krud Kutter and a bunch of other products. They take forever and it’s grimy work. You usually end up with a less-bad mess, but never fully clean. This thing is wizardry. You blast a small area about the size of a playing card, wipe it clean – might have to do it twice.. Move on. So, it takes a while, but when it’s done, it’s DONE. That ancient yellow waxy oil film melts right off. I got my whole stovetop and control panel clean like brand new. (there is some tough grunge on the burners, I might have to use acetone and a razor blade). But the whole thing overall looks factory-fresh. I’m very impressed. My advice is to use an old cotton towel, and keep using clean spots on the towel to wipe, that grease in the towel will just keep smearing if you don’t keep using a fresh patch of towel. Then throw the towel away, you don’t want that in your washer. They also say you need distilled water, I’d follow that advice, or you’ll probably clog the tiny jet with minerals pretty quick. This thing will use about 6 oz of water in about 10 minutes of cleaning. Hard water will ruin it.
  • Great so far and good value for money
Spent four hours testing this product all around the kitchen. It’s been great so farfor a standard sized kitchen whose walls and shelving were never scrubbed in at least 11 months, the grime and stains came off easy.microwave and oven cleaning was easy. The stains just dropped off after a few secondsI am not sure if there is a switch to keep the steam going without manually using the thumb but that would have been a great option. So far this has been good value for my money and I am excited to make it part of my cleaning schedule.
  • Not meant for every cleaning job or heavy-duty jobs but good for certain tasks
The media could not be loaded. Don’t expect the steamshot to be the workhorse to clean EVERYTHING in your home is my disclaimer. In my opinion, it works best for small jobs around the house since it’s quite heavy to hold in your hold and to keep the trigger consistently pushed to release the steam. Here’s what I tried it on, starting with the good first:Good: – Toilet: Finally I can blast through the small gaps where the seat hinges are. I have peace of mind that are is sanitized thoroughly. I use it BEHIND the toilet where it’s hard to reach too. The extra long hose attachment came in handy for that. Use on exterior of toilet only. Also great for that bottom area where the toilet meets the floor.- Bathroom and Kitchen sinks: Again, I like how the steam can blast through the knob gaps and hinges, behind the faucets. Since you’re already in the sink, the water drips back into the sinks. – Pet bed: When I just want to refresh it and don’t have to stick the whole thing into the washing machine. You can also steam clean delicate sweaters too! There is a cloth attachment so you’re not touching the nozzle right onto clothes. Just Okay/Bad:- Shower: The grout attachment was NOT made to get into corners or 90 degree angles unfortunately. The bristles are just too short and it doesn’t reach the edge of the attachment. That said, it’s designed for grout that’s on a flat surface. I used the round bristle to scrape off some gunk from the bottom of the shower doors – did an ok job, i still need to go in with a small toothbrush to really get it all cleaned. I was hoping the steam could blast through the very bottom of the shower doors where there is probably gross build-up from sitting water but i didn’t see any more gunk rinse off – I’m sure it sanitized the area though. I did not use it on the glass shower door since the machine is corded, it was difficult for me to get inside the shower, then close the door in order to use it (I need to close the door to get to water grime build up on the inside of the door). – Stove top knob area where there is grease build-up. Just no. Because this is the knob area, the water dripped onto my floor and on the rest of the stove, the oven door and it didn’t even remove it all. In my head, I imagined all the grease just melting away, lol. Use a degreaser instead. There were still little bits of clumped up grease I have to scrape off but I ended up scraping off some my knob writing! Knob area was still gunky looking. Just use a degreaser and it got it all shiny again! I was not about to use it on my actual stove area where the burners are as that is a heavy-duty job and you will need to wipe away all the grease/bits of burnt food anyway. I do like the mini scraper tool which would be good on the something like the oven door, not for detailed work like the knob area.Since the steamer isn’t claiming to do every household job or even heavy-duty jobs, I’d rate this a 4. It does claim to tackle oven grime but it does on okay job.
  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Works Amazing for a First-Time Steam Cleaner User!
I’ve never used a steam cleaner before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this Bissell made the whole process incredibly easy. The setup took just a minute, and the instructions were super clear. Once it heated up, the steam power was impressive—it pulled up dirt I didn’t even realize was on my floors! It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the water tank lasts a good amount of time. I loved that it cleaned and sanitized without any strong chemical smells. My floors looked noticeably cleaner after just one pass. For a first-time user, this was a great experience. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. This Bissell makes steam cleaning simple and effective. Highly recommend!
  • Tiny but strong
Took some getting used to, at first I thought it didn’t work but it turned out I just wasn’t pushing the lever down enough, it was plastic so I was worried of breaking it but it turned out just fine. The versatility is outstanding and truly useful, I steam cleaned my windows and removed glued on my tile in the bathroom with the scraper and window attachment. There’s no smell coming off of it except the smell of boiled water, and read the instructions you must use DISTILLED WATER ONLY, you can buy a whole gallon of that at any pharmacy or Walmart for a dollar or a couple cents more or less. And if you don’t want to purchase distilled water all the time (trust me it will last you like 3 months with this machine alone, using with a Cpap perhaps a month and a half) then you can buy a distiller, which they sell here on Amazon starting at around 90$ for permanent access to virtually free distilled water.Removed the stains around my doors and baseboards in seconds, same with the grime on my windows. Be careful with the splash back, it does spit it out rather aggressively without the cloth on, so watch out if you’re near any plugged in devices or outlets.Pressure seems perfect strength for getting grime off, just be mindful there will be a mess of water.1 full tank lasted me 2.5 hours in my home cleaning the things I mentioned.

  • Definitely well worth it and I am happy!
There’s so many products out there you know I have an issue of analyzing every single thing when I’m looking for something it takes more time and then I just give up so when I just chose this one, I looked at like three other ones I picked it. I got it today. I got to use it. I love it. It’s simple. It’s easy. The only thing I’m not too happy about is that when you put it on the charger button forward I don’t know if I’m missing something. I did not get a chance to read the book because I had a lot of going on, but it’s nice because the cats that use the cat box Corrugated stuff and they get that over a man just pull it out clean it up. It’s so nice feather cat food bowl. It’s an automatic bowl damn pull it out get those crumbs right there by their bowls cause they’re a little messy cat eaters. Have a nice cat box and has a little grid thing for the step down and then a match and I can use it to clean that that’s what I like. I love it. Oh and it is fast very portable. Very light. The attachments are cool because they’re right there they can’t get lost. I know I only used it once and I just got it today but I was so excited and I didn’t want to put this on there. Otherwise I will get lost in the mix of putting my reviews in so thank you definitely worth getting if any of those things are areas you might need help with I don’t have children anymore they’re grown so I don’t have to worry about those craws but you know sometimes you might spill some sugar or some coffee. Just pick it up. Done nice
  • Powerful 🙂
I really like this vacuum. It is very powerful. It does a much better job at sucking up debris than expected! The charger design that allows the vacuum to stand upright is very nice. The only reason I took away a star is because the vacuum is hard to empty due to the narrow opening. It’s annoying that I have to cram my hand into the opening to pull out all the dirty stuff I vacuumed up. Other, I really like it and recommend.
  • Great Tool!!
Wish it was a wall mount but the charging stand is ok. It charges fast and the power is awesome. I really like the way the crevice tool is a part of the nose of the vac. The brush is also attached and works wonderful! Easy to empty as well!I had a B&D vac for 12 years and it just started losing power too quick so got this new one and I love it!I still use the old one to clean up kitty litter spills.

  • Out of box and first time use impression: Excellent!
Okay, so here’s the deal. We have a dog. And if you have a dog, you need a carpet cleaner or you like it or not are living with filthy carpets. So we have a RugDoctor that we use ever few months and it works great. But it’s huge. And heavy. And getting it out and setting it up to do a small section of carpet is really a pain in the rear.I figured a little spot cleaner would be a good investment. So I bought a Bissell. It broke after three uses. And I bought a new improved one, the little green one you see all over the place. The hose leaked. And I mean LEAKED. Their customer service was AWFUL, so I got rid of it.I wanted a pro-grade spot cleaner. I’m willing to pay 2 or even 3X what the cheap models cost if it works better and lasts longer. The rug doctor one is also huge and had middling reviews, so I looked at the Shark model. We have a Shark vacuum at Church and I actually think the design is extremely clever and it works well. So why not try the Shark spot cleaner?I was suspicious: at $99 in Amazon Prime Day it must be a piece of crap, right? Not so. First off, this thing is SMALL. Much smaller than the competitors, and it is SQUARE and a huge oblong thing. Maybe 14″ by 14″ by 14″. This means it can be stored almost anywhere without issue. The Bissells I owned were horribly noisy, and the shrill / shrieking tone of the vacuum really made it unpleasant to use. This one is loud as well, but it is NOT AT ALL shrieky or shrill, so using it is not fatiguing to the ears. I love that about it.But does it work? We had some stains from our dog where she likes to lie watching the activities in the kitchen without having to lie on the cold tile in the kitchen. So that area is particularly dirty. So is the area next to the couch which she frequents. I filled the water tank to the line with hot tap water and then filled it with the cleaning solution to the next line (you use next to none of it). Then you put the Oxy accelerator in the other tank. And off you go.Here is what awaits you: It is small and lightweight, so you can easily take it around the house. Living room, bedroom, family room, no fuss and no bother getting it around the house. Reasonably long cord (probably 10 feet?) makes it pretty easy to get to various areas without having to unplug / replug.Operation can’t be easier. Press the TOP MOUNTED (thank you designers!) power button and the vacuum fires up. Not quiet, but like I said, not obnoxious. You put on any one of FOUR different heads. A super small one is permanently attached for maybe dime size stains. Then there is a small one, maybe 3″ across, then another one that has a weird reservoirs that I have no idea what it is used for, and then a large one maybe 6″ across. The small one was great… You pull the trigger and extract the solution, and the built in brush which is removable allows you to ensure the solution gets into the pile. The clear head allows you to see the extraction that is happening, which I’m sure is more for show than anything else, but I did find it useful to make sure I’d gotten all the solution sucked up. So spray, brush, extract, spray, brush, extract, and… BOOM. Stains are gone. And I mean GONE!I used this in three rooms. All the stains (and some were nasty) are all gone save for one in the bedroom that is less of a stain and more of some sticky substance probably from the garden. It did an admirable job but I will likely have to use solvent to get rid of it all.The proof comes when you empty the waste tank, which admittedly is pretty small. You know it is time to empty it when the pitch of the vacuum changes, basically it closes a float valve to ensure you don’t start spraying your surroundings with the dirt you sucked up through the vacuum exhaust. Definitely not something you want.So I took the device into the bathroom, lifted the waste tank out of the device (you just pull up on the handle) and then to remove the valve / feeder assembly, you push that same handle in the opposite direction and the whole top (which is actually the bottom) comes off. And when you dump the waste water into the toilet, don’t be surprised when the toilet water turns a disgusting dark brown. Here’s the thing: We vacuum regularly and we had our carpets cleaned maybe 6 weeks ago, and this water was filthy! How that much dirt came out of our carpets is pretty amazing.SO… in summary, this is a small and compact and very effective cleaner that is easy to store, easy to use and is not as loud or irritating as other machines. If this thing holds up (I did buy the three year extended warranty for an extra $10… figured it was worth it given the poor showing of the Bissell machines) so I would be delighted if my $10 proves to be a waste of money. If you read the internet, you’ll see this is a top pick with a lot of reviewers. I can see why. It certainly is designed intelligently and appears to work great. If it lasts for several years, then I will have made a fine decision, and perhaps more important to the manufacturer, I will have become a satisfied customer who knows they can trust the brand to deliver true value to me as a customer.
  • Fantastic Carpet Cleaning Appliance for Small Jobs
This thing is the bomb. I had one of its competitors’ products a few years ago and it was OK, but I needed a new carpet cleaner for my carpeted stairway (the only carpet I have in my house), and I already have a Shark vacuum and a Shark stick vacuum that I love, so I thought I’d give this a whirl even though it’s a bit more expensive than some of the others. It didn’t disappoint. Shark’s come a long way in the reliability and finesse of its products from the first leaky iron I bought 20 years ago, and they’re now among the best out there. This thing is perfect for cleaning stairs. All I can say is I’m really impressed. It’s actually a lot quieter than I expected, super light weight with a convenient handle, both the cord and the hose store easily on the device (the hose nozzle even has a notch to attach to the unit’s body). It came with both the base cleaning solution and an oxidizing booster solution, both of which have dedicated tanks (the solution tank must be filled with water and topped off with cleaning solution). Also comes with three brushes – a small one integrated into the hose for crevices, a 3″ hand tool, a 7″ hand tool (which is the one I used), and a “pet waste” tool with a small tank on it which I did not have to use, thankfully, LOL. Has a solid spray and cleans super well, and I was surprised with how much dark gray solution it extracted out of my stairway carpet. The hand tools have integrated brushes and it was quite easy to maneuver around and carry.Filling and emptying the three tanks (Water + cleaner, oxidizer and extracted waste tank) was super easy and all three just pull off of the unit. The waste and cleaning solution tanks have their own handles. I immediately bought a couple of bottles of replacement solution for future use.I also liked how they packaged it – they used recycled cardboard inserts and no styrofoam.Only two small things I think could be improved: The included power cord is fairly short, so if you want to clean something like a stairwell, you’ll need a three-prong extension cord in all likelihood to reach your outlet. The cord could be longer. Also – the included cleaner bottle (Deep Clean Pro) was quite small, and might be good for maybe three tanks of water – and the Oxy Multiplier solution, which you’ll use far less of, was much larger, which I thought was strange. It should be the reverse. The replacement units I bought of both were much larger. Small gripes, though. All in all, this thing is well executed and a great value and I’m really happy with it.
  • Mega Machine up for the challenge!
Worked first time out. I am impressed by this little guy honestly! The instructions are pretty straight forward, just make sure you are filing the right tank up with solution. I messed up and was going to put the diluted shampoo into the extraction tank because I wasn’t paying attention to exact wording in the instructions. But once I got it all set up I had several spots around the house from owning 2 indoor dogs. I tackled the big job first, my dog puked the night before and wasn’t feeling well. So I had a couple spots from that and as in the pictures you can see that it all came up. Now full disclosure I did spray the area with a name brand stain remover and let it set before using this spot vacuum. But it all came up and I was impressed with how much ‘dirt’ and debris came up. The suction on this thing is great for my purposes and I did not have any water leaks. The spray is wide so it covers great on small areas (which this is intended for). I did use warm water in the water tank with the solution but nothing I would consider HOT at all. There is no heater on this unit. For the money I think this is a great value, I love the self cleaning feature, makes clean up a snap. Just empty the debris tank and rinse out then your ready for the next go. I did get mine on sale for about a Benjamin so look for sales. I will be keeping this unit and using it from time to time on doggy issues around the house. I have a carpet machine for any real big issues or just to spring clean the carpets already.

  • Get. This. Vacuum.
I am disgusted. I never do reviews but I simply had to for this one.Day one review (will come back and edit if needed):Get. This. Vacuum. Especially if you have cats.I set it up without directions in about 2 minutes (that’s impressive for me). Immediately went to my bedroom to see what this thing could do. I only have carpet in the bedroom so I have just had a nice cordless vacuum since I’ve lived here. It does the job…..or so I thought.I vacuumed a 3’x3’ section of my room before this thing was FULL. I have 3 cats and I had absolutely no idea that my cordless piece of JUNK apparently does not pick up any hair from the carpet. I was distraught at the site of a full canister after such a small section (granted the section I did is where the cats do most of their rolling around). I emptied the canister THREEE TIMES vacuuming the entire space. This thing sucks in the best way possible.Get the vacuum. See how gross you are like me. Cry about it. Be glad you got the vacuum.Obviously can’t speak for longevity but if something goes wrong I’ll come back and update.
  • Just buy it even if you get to use that new one it’ll do the job
I bought the used one like new. It’s got great suction to it so you can only imagine what a new one would do. I bought it because I live in a studio apartment with vented heat so I can vacuum out the vents because I have a dog that sheds and for safety reasons you always wanna vacuum out your vents and you’re hitting sources when you have a pet specially for winter time. And it does a fantastic job. I’m glad I bought it not the original one that I wanted which was off of Walmart and purple. But this year is a perfect size and it’s got great suction and I would say if you’re hesitant to buy it just buy it. The color doesn’t matter because as long as it does, the job that you need to do? That’s all that matters and mine doesAnd believe it or not, my dog isn’t even scared of it. He hasn’t barked once at it and I’ve used it twice. I use the slipper sweeper to get the dog hairs out and then I shook off the swiffer sweeper. And then I use the vacuum over the dirt in the hair that came off of the padding from the swiffer sweeper. It’s perfect even for Pet Hairs: and I have linoleum floors
  • You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for but that doesn’t necessarily mean bad, it has its pros and cons. I spent twice as much on my last, other name brand vacuum so I wasn’t sure if I’d love this one. I actually didn’t even think about the “compact” part but it’s not that much smaller than my last vacuum. It is very lightweight and easy on stairs. I like that you turn it on with a foot switch. One thing I noticed is that putting the right floor levels makes a big difference. I had it on the low pile carpet and it was pushing everything around so I switched it to high pile and it worked better, however, there were things just like lint or cat litter I had to go over twice or thrice, I don’t like that. It’s also not great at edges but better going sideways along them rather than from the front. It is also very loud, even for a vacuum. It works much better than my last on hard floors and the “scatter proof” is pretty good but again, only when on the hard floors setting. I also like the canister design and it’s easy to empty. Overall, I liked my last one better but I only have an 1100 square foot condo so I’ll make do and not be overly upset if it only lasts a few years for the price.
  • Could not believe my eyes
I live in a condo with two rooms, I usually use my cordless vacuum. No issues… loved it, but I wanted to get maybe a deeper clean… well lemme tell you I’m disgusted, I couldn’t believe how much my cordless did nothing!! This vacuum is great and small and you can tell REALLY picks stuff up. It kinda is a little loud not crazy… (just use to my cordless) but it’s compact and gets the job done. For the price you can’t beat it…. If you have a small house and just need a room or two this is your vacuum.
  • Powerful, Versatile, and Lightweight
After many years of faithful service, my old upright vacuum was forced into retirement. After a LOT of clicking around, reading reviews, and watching videos, I decided to give the Bissell CleanView Compact Turbo a try. It was very easy to set up right out of the box, and it really impressed me during the first trial run. (And continues to impress five months later as I’m writing this.) It’s definitely lightweight and easy to handle, but has powerful suction, and it REALLY picks up the dust and pet hair from my medium height carpeting and the kitchen floor.I’m especially impressed with all the attachments for the price point, and I love that the handle can be pulled out and used as an extension wand with any of the attachments for more cleaning versatility. It’s great for the sofa cushions, stairs, and for my dog’s favorite napping spot under an end table where an upright vacuum just can’t reach. I like the foot control for the on-off switch although it’s is a little bit on the small side – but hey, it’s a small vacuum.I probably wouldn’t recommend it as the main vacuum cleaner for a large home just because of its size, but for an apartment or smaller place, it would be a great option. It’s absolutely perfect for my small house.
  • Favorite vacuum of my life!!
I absolutely LOVE this vacuum. My roommates and I all have allergies and this vacuum has saved our sinuses. We have bought special pet vacuums as we have 2 cats and 1 dog so there is a lot of hair, kibble, and litter that gets on the floor on the daily. Each time they do not meet standards. This vacuum though…impresses me EVERY day. It is small, but oh boy is it mighty. I appreciate the suck tube extender to get in between crevices (like between the fridge and cabinets) and the skinny attachment for where the baseboards and carpet meet, and the attachment with bristles to vacuum the cat tree. Everyday I am disgusted with the amount of hair that accumulates but so very impressed with this vacuum.Since it is small it is very easy to maneuver and to pick up for putting it back into the closet.

What Customers Say:

  • Great Cleaning and Vacuuming power from the Bissel Stick Vac
I will say out right this little Bissel Stick Vac does and excellent job in cleaning and is much more vacuuming pick up power than I had figured on. The first day I used my Bissel Stick Vac it performed very well out of the box. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment, with a small living room and a kitchen with linoleum floor. It is an older-building constructed back in 1965 according property tax records. So the outside structure is failing apart. I live on the top floor of this 2 floor apartment complex with 19 units in total. The apartments are not enclosed so the upper concrete walk way has railings and covered by protective awnings but open air design still exposure to wind, rain, sunlight and other elements.Anyways the amount of dust and dirt the Bissel Vac picked up was amazing. The filter was literally caked with dust and dirty like a dirty snowball or Cotton Candy you find at a carnival vendor. Believe me I keep my apartment clean as a matter of principle, so I mop and clean on a daily basis so things do not accumulate. I could dust more but this unit I live in does NOT have central A/C or Heating. This apartment is cooled and heated by mounted wall units. The A/C unit is permanently mount half way from the inner wall to the outside ear my front door. It is an older model and NOT very energy efficient by todays standard. However it is closed end unit, meaning it only circulates air that is drawn from within the apartment itself and NOT in-taking Air directly from the outside of the apartment. The outside portion of the Wall A/C is mainly to house the compressor and cooling mechanism units where the refrigeration gases are stored. As well as provide for heat exhaust and exchange for the mechanism itself when in operation. (Sorry do not mean to get off the subject but I just wanted to give potential buyers for the Bissel Stick Vac an idea of the real world environment this product is performing in).The Bissel’s motor and housing assembly also contain the detachable canister where the debris is collected, until the receptacle is cleaned out. The unit is light weight, so it is easy to maneuver in tight areas and is perfect for carpeted or hard floor steps. The Bissel also detaches and as 1 extra attachment a long straight non-flexible nozzle which is great for cleaning the edges of floorboards or hard to reach areas or tight corners that a normal vacuum may not reach. As far as cleaning under couch furniture cushions and around the bed areas where dust and dirt tends to collect around the post or caster feet of the frames or Chest of drawers it does a smash up job in quickly cleaning those hard to reach areas. However the straight non-flexible attachment is NOT very long just maybe 1 foot in length so you will not be able to reach areas that are more than an adults arm length to reach.I have lived nearly 2 years in this current apartment, and the edges of my matted carpet and floorboards have never been cleaner than after using the Bissel Stick Vac. The roommate I had before this was lazy and did not vacuum him self a all. So I inherited a rather dirty apartment by my standards , when he moved out earlier last year. I just hope I do not find any other “hidden” damage in the unit that he is responsible for before I moved in.To get to the point here my summary of the Bissel Stick Vac model 2033.PROS1. Very good value for the money2. For a small stick Vac it has incredible cleaning power, it truly picked up much of the dirt, dust that is ground into this carpet. (Obviously this carpet has not been shampooed in quite some time by the previous tenantswhich means not in the last 5-7 years give the tenant history of this unit.)3. Very Light weight unit, easy to use and get into tight or difficult areas where you may not be able to moveheavier furniture by yourself. (So it is perfect gift for perhaps older or senior or people with health issues whocan not use a heavier vacuum. As well as College Students who are always on the go or committed to theirstudies and have little time to spare. since it makes cleaning easier and will give students an incentive to NOTneglect their living areas and take 10- 15 mins just to tidy up on a daily basis.)4. This is my personal favorite feature. NO infamous rubber drive belt to worry about. Those Serpentinian drivebelts, which are on traditionally Upright vacuum rollers. Which if you have ever had to change a drive belt outit can be a messy and unpleasant chore; as well as expensive. Since many vacuum drive belts can be expensiveas well as difficult to find if the unit is older or the model has been discontinued.5. Easy storage , as the Bissel Stick Vac has a standard power cord which will roll up on the bracket handles andstore away easily in a coat closet which may many large heavy coats that make reaching into the back of thecloset difficult. It takes up very little space when you need to store it while not in use!6. Easy clean up and maintenance! The dirt container easily detaches from the mounting clips so you may access the small HEPA filter and dump all the Dirt ad Debris into the garbage. The unit is also good for picking smaller objects like paper clips or push pins or even small coins in the event you accidently knock over some from your office desk and do not want to throw the items away and they may have spilled all over the place. Since the Debris the vacuum picks up does not pass through the motor itself and NO moving parts like rollers near the vacuums nozzel so the will not jam and cause the motor to overheat or cause a short circuit because the motor has seized which is a definite fire hazard! The Dirty canister is placed in before the motor assembly and has a solid filter so no small debris like nuts, bolts, small screws or paperclips can enter into the vacuum’s motor housing itself.CONS1). The dirt collection container ahs a small capacity so if you use it as the “main” vacuum cleaning tool, then you will need clean it out thoroughly depending on how dirty the floor is or what you are vacuuming up. As a general of thumb this vacuum is best suited for smaller apartments that have no more than 2-3 rooms with a matted or shallow carpet. I would NOT recommend this vacuum for high pyled, shag or very high-end expensive carpets. NOR would I recommend this vacuum as the main tool for houses with more than 3 rooms. Though it does a excellent job for small chores or detail work around difficult tight corners or heavier furniture;. You will want a more traditional vacuum with a 30 AMP motor or better if you live in a large home or have a carpet or floor that is notoriously harder to vacuum.2) The floor nozzle assembly does NOT have any special in-take or moving bristles to collect suborn dirty, dustor debris, which ironically lends itself to the light weight of the Bissel Stick Vac which allows the user tomaneuver the floor nozzle so the in-take can vacuum the dirt and debris up. You can also detach the unit fromthe handle and use it like a hand held dust buster like vacuum and use the nozzle attachment to get to thefloorboard edges and tight corners So if you are vacuuming in a flat straight line you will need to on an opencarpet or floor you will need to use a technique that will cover the smaller width of the active cleaning area ofthe floor nozzle when you do use the unit as it will NOT vacuum wide swaths of carpet or floor when thevacuum is in use. Which makes it a bit safer to use around plugged in power cords ad power strip-surgeprotectors in a home or small office settings. The power cords will not be entangled in power rollers whichcould cause severe damage to the vacuum the office equipment and a strong possibility of electrocution to theoperator.+++++++++++++++++++++ Summary of the Bissel Stick Vac Model 2033 ******************************I would recommend buying this product for small chores or if you live in building with a simple floor plan with no more than 3 bedrooms or does NOT have a plush, or expensive carpets like a real Perishing rug! That would be insane! That would be like using an SOS steel wool pad on a Rembrandt or Vincent Van Gogh painting! Which would be INSANE! It is a great cleaning tool for the money and an excellent value for the price I paid!
  • I will never sweep the floor again.
I just love this little vacuum. I got it in the blue color. I recently moved across the country and I had a similar vacuum to this one which I had for many years but I was moving and trying to minimalize the amount of stuff I was bringing and I decided since I won’t have any sort of rugs I won’t need it anymore. OK well fast forward and I discovered that was a pretty dumb decision on my part. I live in Arizona now. I have Travertine floors. If you don’t know what they are they’re natural stone tiles and the crevices get stuff stuck in them all the time. I have a cat who is a slob with the litterbox and a husband who doesn’t seem to know how to pick up stuff he drops on the floor. I purposely looked for a vacuum that was good for hard floors and this fits the bill. It’s amazing how much litter and dust it picks up and here, no matter whether you wear shoes inside the house or not you get dust. The vacuum doesn’t pick up larger pieces but it’s great for my needs. It’s all electric. I don’t have any rugs here so I have no idea how it would work on them. The cord is pretty long. What I don’t understand is it comes with a crevice attachment but nowhere is there on the body of the machine to store the attachment. Not that this really matters to me that much but my old one did have a spot for it. I rarely used it and just threw it in the closet then and I’ll probably do the same now. I like the fact that the filter can easily be removed and shaken out. I’m very happy with this item.
  • Great but not perfect
This vacuum is great for laminate or hard floors and I love being able to carry it outside to vacuum out the car with ease. As others have stated it does have short battery life and it’s pretty noisy and not great on actual carpet but great for thin rugs on those in between real vacuuming days, does not replace a real vacuum by any means for carpet but again great for the in between and feels much cleaner than a broom. Also great for sucking up wasps and spiders! My only issue just a few months in is with the main head attachment, since everything is all plastic after it heats up from use on level 3 for just a few minutes it has melted and fused to itself preventing it from spinning and is no longer functional. So now I need to find a replacement head since that’s the main attachment used and unfortunately back to using a broom in the meantime.
  • Works great on hard flat rugs and hardwood
This is not for a carpeted house but I love it for my hardwood and low pile area rugs. It’s SO light and easy to use.Its basically a corded hand vac with a removable stick handle and flat floor attachment (no brush roller just tiny plastic ones), which I actually love because you can fully take it apart and wash it inside! No more gross dog smell after a few uses, just take it apart and you can wash the filter, chamber, and floor attachment with soap and water. It will stand up by itself, carefully placed. My only complaint is that the cord is SO short; I just leave an extension plugged in and wrapped up with it now. It’s more powerful than a battery hand vac for sure.

  • Excellent alternative to name brand
I’ve had my Miele vacuum for several years and this is the first time I used a generic vacuum bag. It’s much cheaper so I thought I would try it. Very happy with it. I don’t notice any differences between the two. Would buy again and avoid the high price for name brand.
  • Reliable dust bags that keep my vacuum running strong
I have been using Miele vacuums for years and these AirClean 3D Efficiency dust bags are the only ones I trust. They fit perfectly in my Miele canister and install without any fuss. The material feels thick and durable, so I do not worry about them tearing or leaking dust. I noticed that the suction on my vacuum stays consistent until the bag is nearly full, which shows how well they are designed. The 3D efficiency design really does allow the bag to hold a lot more than I expected. I also appreciate that this pack comes with two filters, since it makes it easier to keep the vacuum running at its best. Changing the bag is simple and clean, with no mess when removing a full one. I use mine mostly for pet hair and general household cleaning, and the bags trap everything with no dust escaping. It feels good knowing that the air in my home stays cleaner while vacuuming. The value is fair considering how long each bag lasts, even in a busy household. I recommend these to anyone with a Miele vacuum, as they really do make a difference in performance. They let me vacuum quickly and efficiently, without me having to worry about any mess!
