What an awesome movie and killer soundtrack. Color me obsessed. (Jump to end of review for a treat.)The CD soundtrack itself is decent quality. It’s in a jewel case (thankfully! those cardboard ones are awful and cheap and never fit in CD stands so a jewel case here is such a blessing) and the CD “book” unfolds into the poster seen at the very end of the movie (Derpy the tiger is sitting above it in the final scene before credits).The only lack of quality is the printing of the front art. It’s pretty grainy instead of sharp, even though I know I have a legit copy. So I was a little surprised by that.And I don’t really have a purpose for the single Mira card that came with it, but I know these kinds of trading cards are a K-pop thing in general, so I think it’s cute that it was included.Unfortunately, the official soundtrack doesn’t actually have all the songs from the movie, like all the K-pop by real artists (listed in the credits – one plays when the girls first get popcorn eyes or another when Jinu is looking at the “beautiful soul” card, etc.) and I get not being able to afford licensing for all of those… but there are also a bunch of songs original to the movie’s score that are not included!Like the background fighting music in the bath house scene (that song is so rad!) or the opening music (after Hunter’s Mantra but before How It’s Done – the very first bit of music you hear while the fans are waiting for the concert and then geeking about the girls) or Jinu’s Lament! (Or the Hunter’s Mantra in English for that matter… “We are hunters, voices strong…”)Jinu’s Lament at least made it to the Deluxe digital edition of the soundtrack, but alas I guess I’ll keep playing YouTube for the rest of these.Oh, one more that’s missing is the music that plays when the boys first transform in front of Gwima, with the whistling. (It’s like an 8 second riff.) I know it’s technically the instrumental of Baby’s verse in Soda Pop, but if you actually play the Soda Pop instrumental, it sounds different than this one. The one I’m talking about sounds like they re-recorded that section of the song to make it really “pop.” And I want it. Gimme.Anyway, all this to say they could totally release a “Volume 2” soundtrack with all the extra K-pop and background songs featured and it would sell like crazy. Hope they do.And special treat, if you made it this far into the review: “Pop/Stars” by K/DA is a K-pop song by another fictional team of fighters and totally fits the vibe, along with “Born to Be” by Itzy (they also have a song “Gold” – inspiration for Huntrix much??) and their latest single “Girls Will Be Girls” features the group LITERALLY BATTLING DEMONS in their music video. These songs rock and the kids I play them for 100% buy-in that they could all be more Huntrix tracks during our dance parties (and it’s nice to have a little more variety when this soundtrack is on repeat lol). So check those out and enjoy!

Somewhere mixed in there is “Strategy” which is playing in the movie when Rumi’s looking at the Golden costumes as she is about to ruin their vacation by launching “Golden”. There’s also the retro song that plays when Rumi gets bumped by Jinu. There’s another retro song that plays when they are in the doctor’s waiting room. Finally, there’s an instrumental score suite which has the AWESOME music during the intro narration and the spooky, otherworldly theme when Derpy Tiger and Sussie lead Rumi to Jinu for the first time. In the movie, there are female vocals on this track but that version isn’t on this cd.Small quibbles? I would have liked “Jinu’s Lament” and a couple other small musical moments that didn’t make it on the CD–maybe in a future deluxe edition?My CD case was broken during transit, but there is a fold-out poster from the CD cover paper. There’s also a small sort of trading card–I got Zoe. No words on the card, just a little extra.The CD is sooooooooo good! Definitely get it!

Love it!!! Came in quickly. The cover was a little dinged but I think that was the delivery people since the box was messed up. The CD and everything inside was there and fine, so I’m not bothered by it.

The reason why I’m rating 4 out of 5 stars is because of the fact that I pre-ordered this CD a month in advance and when it finally arrived the front of the CD case was broken! ????☠️ Thankfully, I was able to receive a refund and I had a new CD sent to me that arrived in one piece!The album itself is magical!!! I adored the movie and I had to get the soundtrack!!! I love how the CD comes with a photo card and a poster like a typical K-Pop album comes with!!! I thought that was a super cute touch!!!

This is really high quality, sounds better then the clips on YouTube, I ripped the music off to my server and it soubds great! No problems with scratches or anythung. My wife loves listening to this music, would recommend, is a very clean version of the songs.

I liked the Amazon series a lot, but purchased this thinking it was just songs from the games. Still a perfect purchase. The record itself is a transparent beautiful blue with darker blues within it. The shipping was great, no signs of damage. The record has been played multiple times today and sounds awesome. Cant wait to create my own pops on this to make it sound even more authentic.I highly recommend it!

Cool record for my collection, I’m happy to have it. I wish it had a few more songs from the games on it but compared to the cost of some older fallout vinyls (Galaxy news radio vinyl sells for $200 or more) this will certainly do.

Everything I could’ve hoped for and more!! Beautiful pressing with a beautiful tracklist to accompany it. If you’re a fallout and vinyl fan, definitely add this to your collection! The sound quality is miles beyond what I expected and plays beautifully.

I snagged this record when it was available for like 23 dollars, had to wait almost a month for it to arrive, worth it, For some reason “Fallout” soundtracks of various forms sell for large money. This one is perfect for me as it has the classics from the 1940s and 1950s from Diamond City Radio, something I tuned to often while in game. The one track it had that is missing from my preference is Uranium Fever by Elton Britt – That would have made the record perfect, otherwise, this record is a great addition to a vinyl / fallout interested person.

This mixtape is awesome! I think that it has very good music on it and guardians of the galaxy is my favorite movie! Disclaimer, you do need a cassette player or Walkman to be able to listen to it.

For a long time this cassette version of the soundtrack was being sold for a lot more than I was willing to pay. So I was excited when I saw that the price had dropped and I could get the cassette just like was in the movie.It arrived this morning and the first thing I did was open it up and pop it in my car to play. It played through the first side just fine, though the sound quality wasn’t perfect (that may have been my stereo system). But when the time came to switch sides the vinyl tape just broke off at the end. I think it wasn’t properly affixed to the wheel, but there’s no way for me to open it up to fix myself.I just put in for the replacement from Amazon, but now it won’t arrive for another month (backordered again…). I’m not happy about all this. Hopefully the one I got was just defective. But since another reviewer mentioned they are not the highest quality, I’m not so sure.Update:The replacement tape took over a month to arrive. When it finally did I took extra care to check whether this one would give me the same problems as the first. I played it through in a player that did not automatically change sides and with each end of the tape I lightly tugged to see if it seemed like it would come loose. Thankfully this time there were no problems. The tape has stayed attached to the wheels and even the sound quality seems a bit better. Five stars for the product, but four overall because of the difficulty getting one that didn’t fall apart.

This is truly one of the best film soundtracks of all time and I’m so thrilled to finally have this in my collection. This is the standard black vinyl which is the one I will be playing on my record player. I bought the special edition colored vinyls from other retailers but those will be preserved for my collection and not played.

I’ve tried for YEARS to get my hands on the original vinyl soundtrack with no luck. I pre-ordered this SO FAST. It’s beautiful!

This is a great Vinyl to own and it came with free MP3 versions of it to download. I encourage anyone who has not heard vinyl through a good stereo system borrow one from a friend and listen there is just so much more their. MP3 s unfortunately loose a lot of the sound due to compression. It’s not anyone’s fault it’s just the way of the MP3 generation and unfortunately less is not more in music. I grew up with vinyl, cassettes, CDs and the MP3 and out of all four my personal choice for the best sound and the best way to listen is a pair of quality over the ear headphones and a vinyl playing. This album has a lot of classic songs you cannot even get on vinyl anymore with out searching the Internet and paying a premium for it.it comes with two albums actually the first has the classic songs cherry bomb,hooked on a feeling and more. The second one is music from the movie where there were no lyrics the scores as they call them.I still buy vinyls of the music I listen to on a regular basis if it’s available. Rather then MP3 or cd

Of course it is entirely my own fault for not reading the track list, but I was surprised to find the score on the second disc. Beautifully composed and performed, but not something that I like listening to. If I had realized that it was the score, I would have gone for the regular version.The ‘mixtape’ record is awesome, a great playlist.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Deluxe Edition Vinyl is a fantastic addition to my collection. The soundtrack is packed with classic hits, and the pressing is top-notch, delivering rich sound quality. The deluxe packaging with artwork and extras adds a nice touch.A must-have for movie and music lovers alike!

The quality isn’t what i expected of a record but it worked fine. It played well and came undamaged which is always a plus. Cool design of the case but the sound was a lot scratchier than i was expecting. For a note i do own SEVERAL records so I am aware of sound quality, this record just seemed like it had a problem during manufacturing.

I purchased this for my grandson because he just received a new record player and when I asked him what he wanted for his birthday he said vinyl albums. I was so shocked that a 13-year-old was interested in such things these days. So I know he like marvel characters so I purchased this and I was impressed with the packaging. I have to find out from him when he open it did it play well. I don’t know if there are any issues with the actual vinyl album, but the presentation was awesome and he was amazed. His eyes got big when he opened the gift wrap. He was excited, it looked very impressive. I will update when I speak with him.

First of all I am NOT a fan of this band. At all. Never bought any of their other music and never will. However!If you liked Daft Punk music for Tron Legacy this is very much it’s evil twin.Darker. More aggressive. More angry. Harsh tones. Distortion instead of pure tones.While this score does not feel wholely original nor more of the same, I believe it’s for the best. It feels like Tron Legacy but different.This is fantastic listening. Great workout music, or night driving music.If you love VaporWave or electronic music you ought to love this.The record itself is pristine quality and clear as crystal sound.Unfortunately the packaging is terrible. Bland cover art. TERRIBLE gatefold image (what a wasted opportunity!!!). Bland back. Liner notes are a NIN logo and a tiny disc credits.Even Tron Legacy vinyl at least had some lovely liner notes.Buy this for the music not the presentation.

It’s great that Trent Reznor, Ross of Nine Inch Nails was hired to create the score for Tron Ares. It’s a solid album with effective, cool electronic melodies, with what sounds like no or minimal guitar work. Strongest and favorite tracks are the ones that really take an aggressive approach, including As Alive As You Need Me to Be (Vocals), I Know You Can Feel It (Vocals) (which builds up intensity later), Init, Target Identified, A Question of Trust and Infiltrator, New Directive, and Shadow Over Me (Vocals).Some more atmospheric, haunting tracks include Daemonize, Forked Reality, Empathetic Response, What Have You Done, Nemesis, and Out of This World.Trent is strongest when he’s aggressively singing or talking, like with As Alive or I Know You Can. The score sounds great at times, and other times cools down to a slower pace to match the movie’s moments. A female vocal on Who Wants to Live Forever overpowers Trent’s gentle singing vocals easily, which may be intentional. Other slower tracks are more bare bones and stripped down to a basic synth melody. Echoes is a softly played piano themed song.As a whole, NIN’s Tron Ares has the trademark sound of NIN, and delivers a few intense songs with vocals on par with The Hand that Feeds or The Fragile in my opinion, getting NIN on track with what has been overdue for the musical act. A welcome return for Nine Inch Nails.

Another great purchase for NIN fans. The Peel It Back tour is incredible and a perfect tie-in with the Tron Ares movie release. The movie is also very good. Well worth watching in IMAX 3D. Absolutely love this movie soundtrack. Trent has done it again!

Long-time NIN fan. Love this NIN Soundtrack! Spun it 3 times now, very excited for this movie. 24 tracks, Yessss. Best in it’s entirety as an album! I think they are finally going to get Tron the film right! Only complaint is on the CD package, the barcode sticker is hard to get off and covers the last track title, should have gone on outside of cellophane. No Biggie!

Do not buy before hearing it once as this is not going to be what one might expect on a nine inch nails album. It’s full of just average or lower than average abstract music that might be great for a movie soundtrack ( actually not even that as its very basic music with nothing notable) with a couple of singles thrown in. The 1st single that was released to create the buzz is ok, nothing extraordinary but did the job it was supposed to do.I have been a NIN fan since 1989 and heard their albums 100s of times and have my favorites and some I like less than others… I also have various soundtracks which were not directly called NIN albums. This being called a NIN album and being released 7 yrs after the last ( which was not an album really but 3 EPs that could get cleaned by removing some of the fluff and converted into one tight album) has surely led to a big disappointment.If you’re missing one of the previous albums from NIN, then direct your money there. This album is ok to test out on spotify. I ended up skipping through to find if there’s any substance but didn’t find any and I’m a die hard fan, so you can well imagine.
