  • Think twice and be sure your are out of options before buying
    The idea is great since reaching the complete inside windshield is difficult. These sort of do the job. I have trouble keeping the handle from collapsing while using it. The cloths that fit on feel cheap, and are hard to put on. I lovethe idea of being able to quickly and easily clean the part of the windshield when the sun hits it and makes it hard to see through the glass. They came in a 2 pack , with 2 storage bags, so I keep one in each car. I have used them and they help, but again the handle gives me trouble sometimes. I still keep a microfiber cloth in each car and put that cloth over the blue cloth on the device and it works a bit better. The handle does help reach the hard to reach areas if it doesn’t collapse while using it. We are making it work. Not a total waste of money, but I wouldn’t buy any more. I felt they are overpriced for what I got.

    so far so good, it works and is simple to use.but the on-off button or the light button is easily turned on when you throw it in the bag it came with.other than that, i really wish it had more USB connections than the one USB-A connection.which is weird because the charge port is USB-C
  • Good jumper brand overall. Don’t hesitate.
    Good jumper. It jumped a 5.9 v8 4×4 no issue. What I don’t understand is it didn’t jump the 5.0 mustang my neighbor had, it did have 3 bars, maybe that was the issue, No full charge. Maybe it was something else but, I’ve jumped 6.0s with this jumper even tho it’s only rated for small sedans lol. Mind you, bought this for my 1.8 4banger 98 corolla. Good jumper none the less! I highly recommend it! Especially the gb70. I am not a big fan of not disconnecting my jump wires, but it is definitely a good buy. It’ll replace your heavy jump pack for sure. Toss aside and use for another day. Roadside tech,mobile mechanic, or just an all around guy. You can easily chuck it in your passenger seat and go on about your day. Don’t hesitate to use this brand, period.

    What I Liked:- Works as advertised.- CompactWhat Could Be Improved:- The drawstring dust bag it comes in cinches closed but does not have anything to keep it closed unless you try to tie it in a knot, which is awkward and time consuming to undo. It would be ideal if it had some type of mechanism to clamp it shut (like one of those plastic clamps that you pinch and can slide the string through to open or secure shut).- Instructions were not at all useful. It has one manual but it’s in a bunch of different languages and only talks about how to store it properly. I was unable to find any instructions on how to hook it up to the car battery and thus had to rely on YouTube tutorials.First Impressions:- It was well packaged- Was not happy to find there was no “how to use” instructions.Final Thoughts:This has been a lifesaver. My previous portable car battery charger was heavy and bulky and after years had stopped holding a charge, so I was stoked when I found this which is ultra light and portable. My car battery was on its last leg and I got it to stretch an extra four months before having to replace it. Within that timeframe, I had purchased this because I needed a backup in case I couldn’t start my vehicle and needed a jump. I used it about a dozen times – Two or three times when I first purchased it, and about half a dozen times or so times four months later when the battery was pretty much a goner. I charged it twice, and was able to jump my vehicle a couple of times after each charge. Not sure how many times it can jump a battery on one charge – instructions didn’t specify – but I didn’t want to find out the hard way so I made sure to charge it after every 2-3 jumps.

    Thankfully, I got this overnight. I had a super dead car battery and this 1 amp charger worked great although I might recommend a higher amp rating than 1 It would work faster . They have ones that are 5 and 6. It plugs into an outlet or I used an extension cord. The clamps are on a separate cord that plugs into the charger. That is good because you can attach and detach them before plugging in or unplugging. My battery was completely dead. I put this on for 11 hours and the charger still didn’t read charged ( green) but it started right up. Its rated for 12 & 6 volt batteries. It would be good for conditioning batteries on cars boats or RVs that might sit idle for awhile

    I have a truck that mostly sits in the garage. Every time I need to back it out of the garage, the battery is dead.I know that just sitting isn’t good for batteries, not to mention this battery is several years old.Now keep in mind, this is a large amp battery for a SUV, which was so dead, a turn of the key and I didn’t even get lights on the dash. I stuck this little charger on it and it took a day and a half, but it charged completely. Ok, now I’m beginning to get a tad impressed.I have two of those old type chargers, you know the ones that after a while you can hear the acid boiling inside the battery, and the battery is getting really hot… you know the chargers that tell you not to leave it on your battery for any extended period of time as this might (will) damage the battery (possibly even start a fire). Well… no more.I’m a total convert now to using smart chargers, and this one seems especially good. I really hope I don’t find some little something that breaks 6 months from now, cause I really like this charger! It seems very well designed and made and most of all, it works great.The only negative I can find, it has a single button to select one of several charging modes, and LED’s to indicate which option you have chosen, and those LED’s are pretty much self explanatory, as well as an advanced mode where you have to push and hold the single button to enter advanced charging mode. For example, if your battery is so bad, the charger cannot detect there is even a battery hooked up, you can tell it to go ahead and start charging anyway which is a really nice feature. As another reviewer mentioned, when you need to use some of the more advanced functions, if you’ve lost the booklet, well… good luck. The multi-language booklet briefly explains all of the options, what the LED’s mean, and that’s pretty much it, verbose it isn’t..It comes in a really nice packaging, like you’re really getting something ( and you are), the unit itself seems well made and thought out, you would think a bit more of an effort would have been put into the manual.But, perhaps the product speaks for itself… and it does. And, after all most users will hook it up to their 12 volt car/boat/motorcyle battery, plug it in, select the regular 12v battery option, and that’s all most will ever need. Once the battery is charged completely, the charger senses that, and switches automatically to just maintaining the battery. If you loose power while charging (or maintaining), this charger just picks up right where it left off, so there is no worries about pushing buttons or selecting modes, it knows what you were doing before, and starts right back up with doing it again.Am I glad I got it: YesWould I buy it again: Yes.

It is very easy to use and is pretty basic. Plug it in, start your engine and hit enter. It tells you how many codes you have and a basic description. Then if you choose to you can erase the code. Has other features I really don’t use.Used it on my boyfriend’s F350. But since it was just an inexpensive reader he had his son use a high tech one he had. Surprise it showed the same code and the same description.Been a few years and it is still working like new, (unlike my car lol)So if you are looking for an easy to use, simple code reader at a decent price. I say this will fit your needs.

    If you follow the instructions it’s a fairly easy process, just takes a little time waiting for things to absorb, cure and dry.I had a 1.5″ star shaped crack in my lower windshield. Used this kit to fill it before it expanded. Worked well, and it’s barely noticeable and the full prevented the Crack from growing (4 months in). As stated this probably won’t help much for long running cracks or large cracks in the drivers frame of view, but worth keeping around to stop small chips from growing.In places like Colorado there’s so much road debris cracks like these are common, would def buy again.

    Imagine my frustration when my windshield gets chipped and cracked 6 weeks after replacing it. Perks of living in Arizona! This product worked on the smaller chip, and made a difference. for the larger chip and associated star line cracks it did not work as well as I would have hoped. It spread into the crack lines but left air bubbles, even after repeating steps 4 and 5 of the instructions in an attempt to eliminate the air bubbles. Better than nothing, and I hope this prevents and protects it from growing into a full on non-repairable crack. Cheaper than using a professional or needing to replace the windshield again sometime soon. We will see how durable it ends up being.

    I had two dime sized chips in my windshield that hadn’t started spreading yet. Did a search for DIY windshield repair kits and this was one of two well rated kits. I purchased simply because this one was cheaper than the other with similar ratings.It turned out that I had the two dime sized chips and 3 other smaller chips on the windshield. This kit worked amazingly well. I took my time and spent about 45 minutes total for all 5 chips. The 2 larger chips are barely visible, the cracks that come off the chips are virtually gone. The smaller chips are completely filled in and invisible to the naked eye.Super easy to use. No foul odors. Well put together kit. I don’t know how it would do with larger chips but I’d say anything quarter size and down would work great.

    This jump starter is small, convenient, and definitely good to have as an emergency backup. I wanted to wait a while before reviewing it, and I’ve used it on two different vehicles now. When I first got it, it already had some charge on it, but I fully charged it to 100% before testing.The first time I used it was on a Jeep that had been sitting for months with a completely dead battery. It took a little time because the battery was extremely drained, and after letting the jump starter sit on it long enough to give the Jeep battery enough juice to stay on, the jump box dropped down to about 19%. I recharged the jump starter afterward so I’d have it ready again.Later, I used it on my Lexus SUV, which had a battery that was going bad but not fully dead. This time it worked much faster. I hooked it up, waited about 30 seconds to a minute, and it started right up. I left it connected for about two minutes just to be safe, and it only dropped the jump starter down to around 70%.One thing to note: the screen that shows the percentage will shut off, so you may need to press the power button again if you’re still jump-starting. I’m not sure if the power shuts off with the screen, so it’s something to keep an eye on.Overall, it works very well and is great to keep on hand. If you plan to leave it in your vehicle full-time, I recommend getting a small inverter so you can charge it while driving and always keep it ready. All in all, it’s a solid jump starter to have just in case.

    I was very excited to see how well this relatively small device actually worked. I ordered it to jump start my Jeep that was in a spot in my garage that made it difficult to get to. This little thing got it started without any issues on the very first try. The flash light works great and can rapidly flash or flash SOS. Adding to that, it is also a power bank to charge other devices. I’m putting this in my daughter’s car and ordering two more for me and my wife.

    You still need a battery charger. This is great for when the battery just needs a boost, but not for when you try three times more than you should and actually drag the battery down to fully dead.These are great for proper use but fixing your car would work too.
  • It works but feel so cheap
    Update 2024-05-23:Left it in a car at 80%, because of a bad design the dongle cable pressed against the power button so it turned on strobe light and drained the battery to 22% in about five hours. Charged it up to 60% and hooked up a bad battery and it started up a V8 5.6L truck. Let it drained to 55% and it will not crank the same engine. If it rated 3KA it should be more than 1500A left and should be plenty of juice to do its work. So I tried to charge it and it will not charge. Just sit there for two hours stuck at 51%. And then I realized modern battery normally has parasitic memory so I need to discharge it all before I can recharge it again. I turned on strobe light and let it drains. From 51% to 30% it dropped less than 5 minutes. So much of retaining power. Dropping from 30% to 27% took another 5 minutes. I charged it from 27% and then the power gauge is moving up. That’s better. It took nearly 5 hours to charge from 27% to 100%. The last 2% took nearly an hour. To summarize, this thing does not give me a confident to be stranded with. Maybe jumping a dead battery at home is OK. I paid less than two Jackson so it is not really a value item. Pay a little more and I can a peace of mind. I will not buy it if I knew how clunky this is. Another issue is when a jump fail I had to disconnect a dongle from the unit and reattached it for it to fire up the engine o/w it will just give a whinny sound, a fault of sort. I’m thinking of returning it. I reduced from 4 to 3 stars.Received this a week a go and left it inside an hot and toasty truck for nearly a week. Charged from 80% to 100% at a reasonable time, around an hour. First jump at 100% and the charge dropped fast. Removed a battery from a 5.6L V8 truck and replaced with a battery in a garage that sat there from last winter. It would not crank and when attached this jumper it started up right away. I jump started it three times within 10 minutes and it started up each time with no issue. Power drained from 97% to 85% about three or four jumps. The next morning, with same dead battery still in the truck I jumped it and it started up again. I jumped it until power dropped from 80% to 72% and it work each time. Only time it will not work is when the + cable attached to the battery is loose. So if your battery is totally drained, like nearly zero volt, then this thing will not work. I will try it again tomorrow if it works below 70% then I will keep it. What I don’t like is that is so light and have no quality built into it. My other jumper rated 1000A less has better build and more helf. That too had no issue starting a V8 5.6L engine. Maybe new techonology use less material and have better performance. I still have 3 more weeks to test this before I run out of return time. It could be a keeper.
