Absolutely incredible dishwasher.I haven’t had a functioning dishwasher in years, I was not bothered much by handwashing dishes but we had a baby on the way and figured now might be a good time to get one.Initially, I was considering a full size from Lowe’s or Home Depot but the prices per quality was just not there. I found this one on sale on Amazon and decided to give it a go as I don’t use a lot of dishes anyways.It has been absolutely phenomenal, it cleans very dirty dishes with ease and I can fit my instant pot lid and pot in it at the same time.It’s not very loud at all, I can barely hear it running when I’m not in the kitchen, and that’s only when I have the TV and other things off. It has saved me a boat load of time hand washing dishes because it fits my full daily load of plates and cups no problem (family of 4, 3 that use normal dishes 1 that is a baby)Size wise, it’s about half the size of a regular dishwasher, unfortunately my cabinets to my counter was too low so I had to put it on its own free standing table for now, but I’ve got no complaints otherwise! I highly recommend. I’ll be sure to update this post as I use it more and more.

Ok, WOW. It took me a little bit from my original order to write this because I wanted to get some usage out of this.I live in an apartment which is older and doesn’t have a dishwasher, but I was sick of doing dishes by hand. I thought to buy this and I needed to make some adjustments so that’s why it took me a long time.1. This dishwasher is NOT compatible with pull-out faucets. I had to learn the very hard way. Pull-out faucets are not equipped for high pressure situations. This is one of those situations. I had to buy SO many adapters just to make the dishwasher spout to fit and with those stacked up with eachother; water was spraying everywhere! Fast forward, I got great usage, but the dishes weren’t coming out clean and water eventually leaked out of the bottom of the sink all over the floor because the hose busted under pressure.2. I had to find a faucet compatible. I asked my pall ChatGPT to find one compatible. I did and once that was installed, the dishwasher worked PERFECTLY. The dishes were HOT and clean.3. As you can see by my pictures, you need counter space or it installed under the sink. You really should take the specs and measure your space before buying. That said, the height and width are perfect for where I have it.4. I chose the color white to match my other appliances and to stand out from my dark cabinets. Though, if silver was an option, I would have bought that.5. You can fit larger dishes than what is recommended, but you have to tilt them and make it fit.6. You can put extremely dirty and caked food on the dishes in there and they’d come clean, but I rinse them before to keep the longevity of the machine.7. You have to play around with the functions and choose the drying function on top of your cleaning function, which adds like 15 minutes. If you don’t, the dishes are wet. If so, leave the door cracked open when it’s done to dry them, but I wouldn’t recommend because you get water stains then. I put a stone mat on top that can absorb water if I don’t want to wait and I have a dish rack on the other side that I use to drain water if needed.8. Yes, it cleans pots and pans great.Overall, I LOVE this. I feel like I never have to do a dish again, but I have to if I use a big pot that won’t fit. There’s two house chores that I hate. I hate folding laundry and I hate doing dishes…You will not be disappointed in this machine. Promise. Just have the compatible things and learn the functions and you’re set. Thanks for reading.

We bought ours over 3 years ago now and still love it. It fits our needs and space and does a great job. Moved to a new home and plan to make the hook up permanent now. Have been in a rental and needed to just attach to faucet as needed and worked great. Looking forward to many more years with it. Highly recommend for those that need to save space, are renting, need a portable option they can take camping or even just those that want to be able to move the unit around as necessary.We are a family of 5 and run it daily. I’ts very kid friendly and easy to use with multiple options and features. They even have no problem hooking it up themselves.

This was a gift to myself 4 months postpartum. It was an absolute lifesaver when working full time, becoming a first time mom alone, and pumping breastmilk. It cleans really well so long as you load properly. I can easily fit all my bottle and pump parts in one load, and I find myself cooking more with the peace of mind that cleanup will practically be done for me. I found the pods work better than the gel dish detergent, I have not tried powder. My only complaint is how close together the prongs are. Even if they were all used it would put plates and dishes far too close together to get cleaned. Still totally worth every penny. It’s been 4 months of daily use and I have zero problems, unless I cram a large pan in and the door leaks. But that is completely my fault

I had to come up and leave a review.It’s soo good. Unboxed it, plugged in the hoses and the wall outlet, put in dishes and soap pod, and finally I could rejoice in not having to manually wash my dishes again. It takes a while though, the normal cycle is about 2 hours long but everything came out squeaky clean, nice and dry which I didn’t expect things to come out as dried as they did.It’s small and compact, so It’s sitting on my countertop and there’s where it’ll stay. I totally recommend this little Dishwasher it’s really good!

I’m 26 and have been out of my parents house for 8.5 years. Growing up I always had a dishwasher. Id give my mom the hardest time about doing dishes and all I had to do was fill the machine for ten minutes and run a cycle. Since then I haven’t had a dishwasher and lemme tell ya. Getting this thing is like taking a sip of water after being In the desert for years. It works great and I cherish the moments I get to fill it with dirty dishes and have a clean sink afterwards. If you have the counter space and cash to spare RUN don’t walk to get this thing.

I live in a small modular home, with very limited counter space. This unit comes within milimeters of almost being too tall to fit under my cabinets, so make sure you measure accurately. Installation was super quick, I actually didn’t need to read the instructions to install it and get it started, because I had already watched several youtube videos.This dishwasher was recommended to me while I was hunting for a bottle washer. I’m glad I purchased this instead, it was actually cheaper. I bought it while it was on sale for $260 and it has sense went up to nearly $400. It’s definitely worth $260, but I’m not sure about $400. Time will tell.Be sure to buy the additional 2 year warranty. I’ve had it for about a week and haven’t had any issues so far, but I have seen some horror stories in other reviews.I can fit a decent amount of dishes in this appliance. I paired with it a faucet diverter to make it even easier to swap between my sink faucet and the dishwasher hose. I have unhooked it once to wash a rather large pan since installing the diverter. I also purchased the munchkin dishwasher bottle accessory basket. I use the playtex ventaire bottles so that was a must as the parts fall through the basket that comes with the dishwasher. I can fit the munchkin basket with about 2.5-3 inches on the other side of it for storage.I also had to purchase new plates as mine were too big, but I had been wanting to replace them for a while anyways. This dishwasher fits up to 9.5″ plates. Suprisingly my big t-fal pot and smaller one that I use to make tea both fit in this dishwasher.When washing bottles, I do leave the nipple out and wash it by hand. While testing the unit it stained one of my bottle nipples a foggy color. But that’s no big deal. As long as Im not hand washing entire bottles constantly. I usually can fit 3 bottles, and that’s because that’s all my little munchkin basket can hold, I could fit much more if I used a different kind of bottle. And I’m able to fit other dishes in with the bottles. The silverware rack is still able to be used over the top of the munchkin basket. It is a little bit of a pain to have to move the silverware tray though everytime I have to load bottle parts into the machine.This thing is really simple to use. I love that it sanitizes. And I don’t mind that it takes almost 2.5 hours to wash. I just set it and forget it. I have plenty of bottles to have some prepped while some are washing.I love to watch it running, I’ll just tap the display and watch it go. My 9 month old loves watching it too. But not as much as I do lol.I haven’t had any issues with it drying like some others have had. I’m pretty happy with how dry my dishes come out. I just open the door at the end of a cycle and let everything finish air drying.One of the biggest cons is just limited space, which is to be expected. Its a tiny dishwasher. Hope whoevers reading this is having a blessed day❤️1 YEAR EDIT:Wow, I love this thing. It’s easily one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It carried me through the rest of my bottle journey with my daughter. I took her off of bottles around 20 months. I figured out how to fit bottle parts for 4 bottles in the munchkin basket. The top rack in it, I staggered the bottom of the bottle and the valves on. I’d do one bottom piece and one valve, then do a valve and a bottom piece, and so on. Just switching which side I set the pieces with each row. Staggered like a carton of eggs. I put the caps and the rings for the nipples in the bottom. I’d line the lids up along the bottom, and stack 2 on top of each other at an angle to allow water to get in. I’d put the rings on the side of the other two lids.I kept the munchkin basket under the silverware tray, and put 2 bottles on the front side of the basket.I did start washing the nipples in the dishwasher after about a month because it no longer fogged up the nipple.I was able to fit several other dishes in with the bottles. I bought an additional munchkin basket for when I was having a hard day and could fit 8 bottles in it at once.Now that we’ve switched to sippy cups, I dont wash the straws in the dishwasher. I use the yaya tumblers and the owala sippy cups.I’ve learned to rinse everything before I put it in the dishwasher. You’re supposed to anyways. If there’s red sauce stuck on a bowl, I’ll prewash it with soap, but I don’t have to worry about meticulously scrubbing it clean.I clean the filter once a month with a straw brush and use the rectangle bottle of finish dishwasher deep cleaner. I use about a 3rd of a bottle each time.I stack dishes in it now like a game of tetris. I’ve yet to have any dishes come out super dirty. I may of had to rewash something 2-3 times. You do have to make sure that nothings poking through the bottom of the basket and that the top arm has room to free spin.The ONLY complaints I have about this thing are that it’s slowly chipping away the paint on my cabinet. I have it slid out as far as I can, and it hasn’t started rotting the wood or anything. The damage isn’t even drastic enough for me to worry about it. I’m going to be moving in a new house in a few years anyways. I dont think it would have caused any damage if it wasn’t so close to my cabinet. As I said in my previous review, its within milimeters of not fitting. I’m honestly amazed that the damage isnt worse. It’s a little spot of maybe 4 inches where the paints flaking. No soft spots in the wood. I’m definitely not knocking off any stars for this. It’s to be expected.The other issue I’ve had is that I’ve had to drain the bottom of the unit twice. Not the fill part up top, the sump in the bottom.IF you get an error code, I don’t remember the code, or your buttons won’t work, drain the bottom of it.I had to within a month of purchase, but its because I opened it after starting it multiple times, the second time was yesterday, after a year of purchase.All you do, is shake the water out of the drain hose, slide the unit over and position it over your sink. Then unhook the drain hose. Mine has a hose clamp with a key so I dont have to get any tools out.Let it drain for several hours or overnight. Prop it up and tilt it back so gravity will pull all of the water out of the bottom of the unit.I’m not knocking any stars off for this either, because while its inconvenient, it doesn’t cause me any headache. Just dont open the door while its running often lolThis thing has made my life so much easier. Just buy it????

Five star because having a counter top dishwasher is a win. This said, you may wanna consider the product knowing issues that might manifest.Pluses: spacious and medium noise but not an issue. Great price though more on why purchasing the added Asurion is a must so it’s $50 plus more than asking price.Compliment to kitchen devote. Top fill is a win as do not wanna connect to the vintage spigot.Issues: off the bat the top spinner doesn’t spin. It’s pressure activated and it could be my water pressure. But the other machine worked okay. So expectations on that working were lost. Most of the time the dial remained stationary. Dishes still got clean.Though the instructions said the machine should heat water. Never had hot water. I filled with hot tap water and this works fine.About six months in the 40 minute cycle stopped working. I switched to C3 aka 20 minute. This was adequate. Not sure why but the 40 minute began working again.All of this was manageable. I’m so happy to have a little machine. That even would wash produce if needed. Since I manage a donation garden with lots of produce this is a fun option if wanted.Bought May 2024, it is July 2025. Ed code blinks. The manual only show E1 E3 and E4. No worries. Do my due diligence. Attempted to write the seller. Pushed send. The note never manifested in my messages.Called Amazon. Explained details. They say call Asurion and file the claim. Easy peasy, except they gave me the wrong number that’s been disconnected. No worries, looked up the number.Screen shot the full order number from the machine and Asurion insurance order number. This is all they need. Two day wait for them do do their job.They couldn’t find a place to repair the item within a hundred miles. They are issuing a refund of the full price via gift card and I’m shopping for a dishwasher.Only down side, tariffs may have risen costs of some products but no matter. I’m happy to have bought the insurance and the process for claim submission is simple.Instead of tossing the machine. Cut the cord and convert it to a tiny green house. Thought about making it into a little library. But a top folding down door is a challenge unless the Little Library is lower to the ground.Moral of the story, buy a machine with the insurance.This isn’t my first counter top dishwasher rodeo. The first one I bought had a two year manufacturer warranty. I thought great. But when the machine wouldn’t drain after a year the warranty comprised of the seller having me take the machine apart and send them pictures and they’d send me the parts to fix it. No thank you. That machine is now a green house.Because the machines are made with a ventilation system it gets humid but air flows.Anyway, if you buy this gadget despite its nuances please include the Asurion plan.The only downside is having to purchase a new Asurion plan with a new machine. So the cost of the insurance is kinda like renting a machine. Though an under counter machine is an idea it is a space hog in this vintage property with a small kitchen. Under counter storage is prime real estate.I liked the machine except for the few nuances. So gonna look elsewhere for a top fill machine with simple settings. Hoping I find a fit that resembles this machine.

I wanted to write this review in a pros and cons format; however, the cons are due to user error…so I opted not to. Although, I will list my errors to help others. The set up for this little powerhouse/life changer, couldn’t be easier. We didn’t hard wire ours in and pipe it in, so I can’t speak on that, but pour in water until it chimes 3 times to alert you it’s full is easy enough (3 of the pitchers it comes with). The dishes come out clean, shiny, and bone dry! It’s a lot quieter than my husband slamming half clean silverware into an empty sink waiting to be rinsed. (I’m disabled and can’t stand up (like for a minute) for extended periods of time to wash dishes). I can fill this in a few trips to the kitchen a day and have it running in no time. My husband loves being off dish duty and I fill like I’m accomplishing something. The dishes are a lot more sanitized. I run a sink of hot soapy water at the beginning of the day so I can wash off any big pieces before putting things in the dishwasher. By the time I start the machine, I only have pots and pans left to contend with and I just make a fresh batch of water to finish up while the dishwasher is runner. Our cabinets come down too low for it to sit back all the way on the countertop, it overhangs by about an inch or less. I will likely purchase a mobile cart to place it on since it’s so versatile and portable. Our silverware is entirely too big handled to fit through the tiny little squares in the flatware holder. I understand the concept, but had to remove the lid (separator) to place our flatware in. I have it washed pretty well by the time it goes in the dishwasher, so I’m more concerned with the sanitization aspect than I am of it not getting clean. Each piece comes out shiny and perfect. At the end of the wash cycle, it will ding 3 times to let you know it has completed that cycle. Something I was doing wrong and had to call about. I was selecting dry as I did the programming, at the end of competition, it would stop 6, the DRY cycle was still lit, and the fan continued to run. This is where user error came in. By not holding the DRY button down for 3 seconds and waiting for the 3 dings, I was setting the 73-hour air circulation mode. The 6 just represented the machine had 6 modes. To stop the mode, I would just hold down the power button for 3 seconds to make it stop, but I didn’t understand what I was doing wrong, or if it was the dishwasher. Also, on the first fill, I splashed water everywhere (I was being a little overzealous) and forgot about it until the end when my husband about blew a gasket thinking the dishwasher had leaked everywhere. It had not. I was more careful on the second fill, and the surroundings were still dry at the end of the cycle. He was happy then. He also ran some quart Mason jars through the dishwasher to see how they would come out for canning. They looked brand new. It will take one step out of his canning process. It holds 6 jars at a time. You could probably work it around and fit more in, but it was our first run, and we just wanted to see how it would do. I can’t say enough good things about this dishwasher, as well as customer server. They were easy to reach, quick to answer, and quick to find an answer to my question. They put their phone number on everything, so I didn’t have to search tirelessly to find it. It can hold more dishes than I expected it to. I even tried a lightweight skillet and a saucepan together to see if they would fit, while that would be a waste of electricity and water for most, for my needs, there are times it’s a gift. They came out beautiful.

Bought this because our kitchen is very small and we’re so glad we did. Some complain about it not fitting under their cabinets very well. We just use a shorter cup to fill the water basin that does not get in the way of the cabinets. We have a farmhouse sink, so the faucet hose is flexible, we can run it up to the fill basin if we like. The hose that comes with it won’t connect to our sink faucet directly without finding a special type of adapter but that is because of our specialized farmhouse sink. Most people likely will not have this problem. It holds a lot, especially if you take the time to stack it well. Pots and pans don’t fit in it well, so we do those by hand but most things fit just fine. However, most dishwashers aren’t made to do pots and pans. We took the top off the silverware tray to get more in there and that works out well. We often interrupt the drying function to save time and electricity. We pull the drawer out to air dry instead. We will probably take the flexible shelf out of the top as well to fit more things in. It works very well, just like a regular dishwasher. A large bottle of Cascade Free & Clear Liquid Gel has lasted 2 months and it’s still over half full. To save more $$, we will buy the offf brand next time. Installation took maybe 10 minutes and most of that was getting it out of the box. It was packed well for shipping. It does not leak and has safety switches to shut off during run if someone, like a child (which is doubtful when it’s sitting on the counter) would open the door. I like the light to watch it and it lights up the kitchen but it only stays on a few minutes. I wish it had an option to stay on during the enitre cycle run. No big deal though. It’s saved countless hours of us washing by hand. The idea that we have it is a motivator to make sure our dishes are always clean and sink rarely full anymore. And yes we wash the dog bowls in there too. It runs very hot like a reg dishwasher so to us it’s fine. Obviously, if that grosses you out then don’t do it. It has an extra removeable basket that can be used to sterilize fruit or baby bottles, nipples etc. Since we don’t have babies, we just leave that part out. And it has not added more than a few cents a month to the utility bills. We sometimes run it twice a day. That depends on if we had people over or how much we have cooked obviously. With only 2 living in the house, once a day is fine most days. I think if you had up to 4 people in your house you’d be fine with this dishwasher. And if you have a small kitchen like ours, a countertop dishwasher might be your only option. But at least there is an option not to have to do manually. We are pleased with this purchase. We have had it a couple months now and really had a chance to use it a lot. If you are considering this, you won’t be wrong to get it.

I live in a 120 year old home, no room for a built-in dishwasher or rolling portable. For 25 years I have been hand washing my dishes, let me tell you, I loooooove this machine!!! I choose to use the pitcher to fill the tank, I feel there would be less chance to leak. I bought this in July and now it’s October, I use it daily sometimes twice. I can cram a whole lot of items to wash at one time. It fits my large dinner plates, pot lids (they are so shiny now!!) I have a silicone mat in the picture, I added that after I fill the tray. I have no complaints. If anything happens in the future, I will update my review. I don’t think k you can go wrong with this purchase. Oh I haven’t tried the WiFi feature, I really don’t see a need for it in my situation.

Love it! This is a great quality, in my budget dishwasher. Is bigger than I thought but fits my space. Does a great job cleaning the dishes. Very easy to use and install. As you can see in the video I didn’t read the directions first lol. I used my faucet to fill. It’s perfect.

This is after daily use for over 3 months. Small footprint that works well in a small kitchen, holds more dishes and silverware than I expected, and gets the dishes cleaner than my old full size. Very easy to set up and clean. The only quibble is the cord could be a bit longer. I use an old IKEA plant waterer to fill, it’s easier to pour.

EXACTLY what I wanted. It does have app capabilities but I don’t really use it, though it is straightforward and the app does work. I have a very old home with uneven, limited counter space, so it doesn’t fit under my cabinets but I bought a bamboo 28×24 cutting board and it fits perfect. I’ve used this probably 25+ times since I got it and it is a dream. It does not fit larger pans, but handwashing 2 items is so much better than handwashing everything! Have saved on water and time. Leaves dishes clean with no water spots. Love the heated dry functionality as well as the extended dry that dries out the inside after use. I don’t have a way to hook up inlet water but the outlet hose drains directly into my sink. When filling up the top, I just use my sprayer and it beeps when it’s full, but it does come with a measurement pitcher. Highly recommend.

Things like this all look the same, so I thought buying the cheapest one would get me the same experience for less money. This is the worst version of that sort of thing they can make! The fill hole at the top is very splashy, and the rack meant to hold the dishes is very poorly organized in ways that make me wish it had the feature many other small dishwashers do, where you can fold some of the support structures away. The app is nearly worthless- all it’s good for is remote-starting your dishwasher, which is… Not a useful feature. The schedule/delay start feature doesn’t actually work, and other features presented inside the app itself don’t work with this machine.Beats having no dishwasher by a country mile though – I just think we can do better. It works, gets dishes clean, uses very little water, the whole 9 yards. I recommend dropping an extra 40-60 bucks

The first few times I used it I was afraid the suction cup might not hold so I did a quick cycle and it’s great. Dry dishes, no spots; I used Finish gel and a tiny bit of the drying stuff, Finish brand. It’s awesome!

2 days into owning this dishwasher, which incidentally arrived a full day early (!) and I am in love. I have not had a dishwasher for 3 years and I am so happy with this purchase. It took me a long time to pull the trigger, and I read review after review on every single dishwasher available before deciding on this one. I got the black glass door one.One thing that I noted was that the hermitlux dishwashers had far less negative reviews than other brands in the category I was looking (I needed a tank, couldn’t hook up to faucet). Thank you to all the prior reviewers of this and other countertop dishwashers, you really help me make my decision!Since I have had this dishwasher, I’ve run eight loads and it has been seamless. I purchased a $60 stainless steel rolling cart for it because I don’t have enough cabinet clearance, and I really didn’t want to give up my very small amount of counter space anyway. This gives me the added bonus of rolling the cart directly into my hallway to run my dishes instead of trying to navigate my very few kitchen electrical outlets. I have two window air conditioners running at all times and I do occasionally have breaker issues in my apartment so this doing dishes in the hallway thing is working out very well. I have a collapsible bucket on the bottom shelf of the cart to collect dishwater, so easy!Onto the dishwashing, I’ve had a couple of things which were already stained not get as unstained as I would like but they were already stained so this was not a surprise. Everything else is coming out spotless! And so shiny. Clearly, hand washing was not going as well for me as I thought! I am using Cascade gel because I really just did not want to deal with any more research this week. This may change later on down the road but I wanted to get my dishes washing. In my estimation, this dishwasher can hold about a third of a standard dishwasher load but it’s been awhile since I’ve had a standard dishwasher so I could be a little off on my math. The silverware situation annoyed me right out the gate so I popped the little lid off of the silverware container and haven’t used it at all, which has caused no issue. I see people less happy about that little flip down rack not holding anything but I put all of my cooking utensils up there, and I also put my yeti-style lids up there. I love that rack! I’ll probably learn more how to fit more dishes in there as time goes on but I’m highly impressed with how clean my plastic ware is getting, and it’s really nice to be confident that my dishes are sanitized. So far I have used quick wash, standard wash, and strong wash on some of my grungier dishes and all cycles performed really well. If I allow it to run through the dry cycle which I really have been a little too impatient for, it does dry well. Plastics will likely still have water on top but that’s that’s it’s something I dealt with on standard dishwashers.I’m single and still expect to be running this dishwasher daily because why not? It doesn’t take very much water and it will be one less thing for my ADHD brain to deal with. Clean sink for the win! Speaking of my ADHD brain, this thing is also nearly silent. I can occasionally hear water slashing but that’s about it. Even the notification beeps are very low volume.Since I am rolling the cart into the hallway to wash dishes, I pour three containers of water into the tank (I love the guide piece for it since I can’t be trusted to pour water slowly), then I fill the container about halfway in case I didn’t get enough in there and roll the whole thing down the hall. Twice I have not gotten enough water in there and the machine let me know so I was able to top it off with my container.I did purchase the extended warranty for 2 years because this was a big purchase for me, even though I do not normally buy extended protection.Tldr: This is a great machine!

Okay. So I intentionally waited a whole year before writing a review on this portable dishwasher. I did this to make sure that I was able to accurately assess durability over time, as well as effectiveness. SPOILER ALERT–it still works just as great now as it did on Day 1. In fact, I’m using it right now, as I write this review….Now I grew up during a time when parents would give their children something called “chores” to do. If you don’t know what “chores” are, you’re very lucky. Somehow, my daily chore was washing dishes. By hand. No dishwasher. I once asked my folks at the dinner table if we could get a dishwasher installed. What did I say that for?!? The reaction to my apparent blasphemy was immediate: My mom stopped, mid-chew, and gave me a look that could have turned Medusa herself into stone. My dad, seeing this, laughed out loud and answered [tongue-in-cheek] “Your mother and I already have 4 dishwashers–and we don’t need to plug y’all in! Now. Go do the dishes. I’m sure your brothers thank you for volunteering, don’t you boys…” That pretty-much settled the matter.Anyway, fast-forward about 30 years and I live in a rental apartment that-most unfortunately-did not come with a built-in dishwasher. To this day, hand-washing dishes is still my most hated house chore. So much so, that I would let dirty dishes sit in the sink for days at a time until there’s no more room in the sink. Then, instead of washing the dishes, I would just stop cooking and get take-out everyday. All, to avoid hand-washing dishes, as though the dirty dishes would suddenly disappear, or get up and wash themselves, or something.And then, one day, my whole life changed! I know that sounds a little hyperbolic, but that’s the only way I can describe what happened….I was browsing on Amazon [having totally abandoned that sink full of dishes, of course] and this wonderous invention appeared in my You-May-Also-Like thread. I was actually browsing for something completely unrelated, by the way. As soon as I saw it, my jaw fell to the floor. Phrases like “Why didn’t I know about this?” and “Where has this been all my life?” came to mind. A portable dishwasher–who knew!!! The company that makes this just got a little bit richer, because that day, I hit Add-To-Cart immediately.But I consider myself a savvy shopper, so I made sure to read the reviews, the good ones and the bad ones, before I took that proverbial leap-of-faith. When it was delivered and I unwrapped it, it had condensation inside. DO NOT PANIC about that; it’s supposed to come that way, as the manufacturer runs each machine through a full cycle for quality assurance just before shipping it out. I make a point to mention this, because some of the negative reviews were complaining about this, as though it were some kind of problem. In fact, the manufacturer has a video of this very process posted right here on Amazon. So, give it a watch.Now you can set it up to operate in one of two configurations. You can connect the dishwasher directly to your kitchen plumbing, or you can simply fill it with water manually by pouring water into it’s top opening. Personally, I do it manually, since I live in a rental and I don’t want to tamper with the plumbing, and I am definitely NOT a plumber, either. It uses only about 1.5 to 2 gallons of water for a complete load wash and rinse, as opposed to the nearly 10 gallons of water needed to hand-wash dishes in the sink. [Yes, I did compare water usage.] The dishwasher has several speed settings as well. I won’t go too deep into that; it’s in the user manual.But I will say this. I can confirm and attest that the dishwasher does also clean small pots and pans and skillets, as well as dishware and utensils. I mention this specifically, because I did not see anything about whether or not pots and pans and skillets could be cleaned. If it will fit inside the machine [even at an angle] the dishwasher will function.Then, I kinda went on a crazy cleaning blitz, and washed all sorts of things in there: All of those reusable plastic take-out containers I had accumulated; I took down the glass enclosure from the ceiling fan lights; the light bulb covers from the kitchen, bathroom, front and back porch; I even disassembled the chandelier and washed the glass pieces in this dishwasher. All came out bright and sparkly like brand new! Even the grease catchers from my electric stove burners came out clean!As for which type of soap to use, DO NOT use regular dish soap for hand-washing dishes, under any circumstances, as the resulting bubble-action will cause a malfunction. I cannot emphasize this more strongly [I learned this the hard way]. You MUST use dishwasher gel designed for use in dishwashers. I know that there are powders and even pods designed for dishwashers, but I have found out [from my year-long experience] that dishwasher gel is the most effective by far. So, think “Cascade” not “Dawn”.When in use, the dishwasher itself is totally silent. All you will hear is the gentle sloshing sound of the water as the dishes are being washed. Personally, the sloshing sound is quite soothing to me; I have actually fallen to sleep listening to it several times. Imagine the sound that water makes when you are slowly rowing a boat on a calm lake.OMG! I didn’t realize that I had written a book here; maybe it was the soothing sounds of my dishes now being washed for me that has allowed the words to come flowing!Well, my dishes are done.Oh, PS and by the way, It dries the dishes spotless, too!Enjoy!

This little dishwasher does a better job than my full size dishwasher did! It takes tea stains out of my cups! No scrubbing needed! I use Cascade liquid detergent with it. Everything fits! Some times I run two loads a Day if I’m baking or cooking that day. It’s so quiet I can’t even hear it run!! Great Machine! I’m so impressed!!!

This thing is awesome. I have a an old house and no dishwasher. This thing is easy to operate and works really well. It holds more dishes than I thought it would. It has come in very handy after parties. It doesn’t hold the big pots and pans but, it does a lot. You can use any brand dishwasher tabs or liquid. There is a catch basket for any larger food particles. So you don’t have to pre-wash any dishes. It hooks up to the faucet for filling and draining if you’re able to do that. If not it is easy to fill. Just remember to put the drain hose in the sink! Definitely worth every penny.

Overall, I’m very skeptical about appliances that I know nothing about the brand. That goes double for countertop appliances like this. I figured that I’d buy an extended warranty and give it a try. If it sucked, id return it to Amazon. Yay for buyer protection! I’m pleasantly surprised to say that this countertop dishwasher ACTUALLY WORKS, AND WORKS VERY WELL. Dishes are coming out perfectly clean. Not only that, but the heat dry function WORKS…unlike that of the brand new full-size expensive dishwashers in my past few apartments. Streaks. ZERO STREAKS. The full-size dishwashers were leaving a streaky cloud on my glasses, no matter what detergent and clean rinse agents that I used. This countertop dishwasher doesn’t! Detergent. I’m using a gel. It has a built in area inside the door that you put detergent into. It takes about 2 teaspoons of detergent. It’s also very quiet.Can’t wait to try it on dirty cat and dog dishes.Overall: I absolutely love this and recommend it!

I chose this dishwasher for the water tank feature. For years I’ve wanted a counter top washer. As a renter I didn’t want anything that needed plumbing and even hooking it up to the faucet was unappealing to me because I worried something could go wrong. This washer had great reviews and met all my needs. I am thrilled at how well it cleans! I grew up with “washing” the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher. After washing a few loads on normal cycle I decided to try speed since my dishes were what they call “lightly soiled”. They came out just as clean in half the time! I’ve used all the wash modes and know it can handle stuck on food bits if you need it to. I think it’s easier to clean the filters if you don’t collect large food particles but that’s just because I think it’s yucky. I live in a small studio apt and find the noise level very reasonable. I actually enjoy hearing it run. After fifteen years without a dishwasher it sounds like beautiful music to me! I have clinical depression and dishes have been a battle for me. I could vaccume or do laundry all day long but loathed hand washing dishes. My depression and some other medical conditions, at times, left me buying plastic utensils or cups I could toss or just not cooking things I wanted to because I didn’t want to do dishes. If that sounds familiar to you at all then I whole heartedly recommend getting this magic machine today. Don’t wait. It has been life changing for me. I get that will sound silly to some but I want others like me to know it really can improve quality of life. I’m cooking more now that I only have to wash pots and pans by hand. It’s amazing how much water you save using this washer vs. hand washing. I use powdered detergent and found it hard to pour the small amount you need from the big heavy box into the small soap area. I solved that problem by getting a little ceramic sugar bowl with its own spoon and lid. I keep it right next to the washer and spoon in the soap. No more overflow or spills, plus you can stash the big box in the back of the cabinet because the bowl can hold enough for weeks or months!

I purchased in Sept. ’24 and have had no issues. It has been 2 months since my purchase, and I believe it suits my needs well. You do need to get “creative” fitting items other than plates.The utensil holder I do not like. It is the one thing I can complain about. It has individual slots on the top, but the spaces are not wide enough to accommodate my forks, spoons, etc. The top of the handle of my cutlery has a large tip. You can leave the top off, if needed.I am by myself, and it takes at least a week for me to have enough to put in a regular dishwasher. It definitely uses less water than doing it by hand. It uses about 3 and a half pitchers in the one provided, a bit less than 5 liters. I find that it is quieter than a regular dishwasher. Great for an RV if you have the counter space or storage space until needed. It is definitely advantageous and helps conserve water.

I recieved this yesterday and I think it’s fantastic. I have hated doing dishes since I was a kid. Other than using too much liquid dish soap the first wash, everything is working wonderful. Thankfully I can fill the water tank with the provided jug, because I can’t change the faucet in my apartment. It doesn’t fit under the cabinets even though I measured before I bought this. Time will tell with how long it might last. I did get the coverage just in case.

This is an awesome dishwasher. Smaller than your normal size which works well in tight spaces. I would recommend it.

After having a horrible experience with UPS (said address was wrong even though all other packages arrived from other shippers and also came in damaged). After contacting Amazon about the issue they had another one shipped out. It arrived on time and in perfect condition from a Amazon driver. Hopefully I will be able to avoid UPS in the future as Amazon’s drivers are way better with treating all packages with care.The product is great very high quality build and has plenty of room. It is not overly complicated and not too loud. Easy to clean and cleans dishes well.Installation was very easy but would be better if it came with a few parts (90 degree water hookup, waterline, and hose clamps)

Purchased for guest house. So far getting an error message, does not drain, resulted in mold. Plumber installed an has been to try and repair 1x however is still not in working order. VERY DISAPPOINTED with brand new expensive product!

so, I know people don’t like washing dishes. but believe me when I tell you it’s the bane of my existence. I work a lot of hours and also am on call 24/7 for my elderly mother who lives with me (and is extremely messy), so I don’t have a lot of time for chores, and washing dishes was really adding to my stress.finally I made the decision to have a dishwasher put in, did a ton of research, and bought this one.I am SO happy with it. I pat it when I walk by in the kitchen and it’s just quietly humming away. it works great, fits our amount of dishes with no problem, and is very quiet! If you have like a baking dish with food stuck on you do have to get that off before putting it in there (or just wash it by hand) but otherwise I’ve had zero issues and everything comes out perfect. I ADORE this machine.

Works well as it should. Very convenient and the right size per the space I had. There’s just enough room so you can’t really load up a full day’s load. Only what you really need to put in the machine. It does its job. So far it looks durable and right value for the money.

This mini-dishwasher is so much quieter than my last model. It can run while we sleep or watch a movie and you cannot hear it. I have had it for about 7 months and there have been no issues so far. I only use the eco cycle and find that it is sufficient for most loads.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:We’ve been using this for a while now and it’s been fantastic. Even though it’s compact, it fits a surprising amount and was the perfect size for our smaller house. It gets really hot, which I love, because everything comes out super clean—even dishes that went in looking rough.It has no problem handling tough messes, and for the size, it seriously delivers. If you need a dishwasher that saves space but doesn’t cut corners, this one’s a win. I’d love to give it 5 stars. Great little dishwasher for my RV(we live in it so this is nice to have) quiet and efficient. Easy install HOWEVER, came damaged. Box ripped all apart. Wasn’t sure I had all the parts at first. Caved in on the back. Dents, etc. we called customer service and got a run around. My husband pushed out the dent as best he could and installed it. Figured the next one would be just as bad. (No one cares anymore) It didn’t affect the usage but it was pretty heavily damaged in back and on sides. (Front somehow was ok) There were no straps holding box together so when I picked it up the whole top came off. Anyway, luckily it still worked but feel customers service could have been more helpful.

Love this little machine – it’s super quiet and does a great job with getting the dishes clean. Installation was a little tricky – getting it set at into the proper depth to align with the cabinets. The bottom, at the toe kick, is recessed about an inch back compared to the base cabinets, but honestly it’s not a big deal, and this could be remedied with a custom-thickness toe kick built-out to align with the cabinets. Also, at the depth that mine is set, to be flush with the countertop edge, it’s impossible to see the digital display to see how much time is left on the cycle, but also not a big deal – just listen for the beep that signals the cycle’s end. Overall, this is such a great, compact dishwasher for the price – it can’t be beat! It looks very sleek and modern. Very pleased after almost a year since installation.

I was skeptical buying this dishwasher it had mixed reviews. I have had it a couple of months now and it is great!! It is very well built I love that even the inside is stainless steel it runs very quiet and cleans the dishes very well. It does force you to use rinse aid which I don’t mind. It was also very easy to install I would highly recommend this dishwasher!

Brand new unit LEAKS! – Sump pan fills up, E4 code comes on, drain motor runs without end.Spent a couple of hours repeating the process by sopping up the water in the sump and turning off the float switch that clears and triggers the E4 code and the problem keeps repeating.Honeywell: DO BETTER !!!Resolution was either to replace the unit (but leave me with the burden of having this piece of junk hauled away) or money back. I chose money back.Honeywell: DO BETTER !! How hard can it be to – oh I dunno…MAKE A DISHWASHER THAT DOES NOT LEAK??That would seem to be job one, no?Additional comment; operation of the controls is confusing and non-intuitive for grandma and other non-techie types

Dishwasher works well, but it comes without instructions to run it. Manual is vague and mostly focused on installing unit.I learned that you have to hold down the two delay buttons for 5 seconds while door is open, then close door to begin wash.One final warning… the stainless steel is like tinfoil, and any pressure against it will bend it. It’s fine once it’s installed, but be very careful while laying it down to attach plumbing and connecting electrical lines. I dented mine permanently.Take the electric cord off your old dishwasher to use on this new one.

I was reluctant to order a dishwasher from Amazon due to the fact that i imagine it is a hassle to return a bulky item like that if it would be damaged in shipping. I am really glad that i did, the unit arrived in perfect condition, no dents or anything like that. So shipping, not a problem.Appearance and dimensions, the description and the pictures are accurate, it looks great in the kitchen.It cleans the dishes well, even when i did not rinse the dishes before loading the dishwasher, just to see how it will do.I have only just had it installed so i cannot comment on how well it will do long term, but so far i do recommend this dishwasher, due to its appearance and how well it cleans, not to mention the price, it was actually cheaper than most other 18 inch dishwashers, so if you are like me and are worried about ordering an appliance on Amazon, i tried it and it was a completely positive experience for me.

This is so quiet and really washes my dishes well. The installation instructions were missing when I purchased so hopefully they have corrected that. I gave it 5 stars because I do love it.I wish it was easier to load bowls though and it arrived damaged with a couple of dents but Amazon gave me a little off for thatOther than that it is perfect for me because I live in a small home and my kitchen and living room are one room. It doesn’t interfere at all with conversation or listening to TV.I am off grid solar and it is very efficient.

When I bought this dishwasher, there were not many reviews on it. I took the risk by buying it regardless and I am satisfied with my purchase. The setup was not too difficult coming from someone who’s never done something like this before. I even found a few useful installation videos from Honeywell’s YouTube channel.I would like to note that your experience with this dishwasher might vary depending on what dishwasher cycle you run, detergent you use, and how dirty the dishes are. This dishwasher does clean really well, but I’ve found that on certain dishes that have been dirty for several days, this dishwasher will not completely clean them and you might need to clean by hand.All in all, if you need an 18 inch dishwasher, you can’t go wrong with this one for the price.

Starting with the cliche line of “I never leave reviews” because it is true. I do however go through them all when I make purchases so hopefully this helps someone else in making their decisions. The bottom line, we love this thing. It’s been in our home (at 37ft 5th wheel trailer) for exactly a week and has been run at least once a day, if not more. Our floor plan has the kitchen in the middle of the rig with an L shaped island and overhead cabinets. Counter space is a premium in RVs so dedicating something to take up that much space was a commitment. This unit fits the exact space that we had our dishrack anyway. It’s much taller obviously but it was often piled high with dishes anyway. We like to cook at home and go through a lot of dishes which means a lot of time handwashing. Even with its compact size, we have been able to stay ahead of the dishes with so much more ease and efficiency. Normal setting handled all types of dishes, including greasy ones. We do rinse well and are happy overall with the results. We are currently using Better Life Dishwasher Gel.Ours is set up 3 feet from our television and we are able to run it with no problem while watching tv. It is not loud or make any kind of racket. There are also no vibrations when running this machine. If you live in an RV, you know what I am talking about.We did not plumb this directly to the faucet because of the type of faucet we use. The onboard tank works very well and is great for when you are running on limited water. It uses a fraction of what normal handwashing does. If you dry camp, this is a plus! This also lets us maintain the use of the sink so we can continue to do things in the kitchen such as washing the larger items.This machine is one of the best items we have ever bought in our 8 years of living full-time in an RV. Neck and neck with the Instant Pot. Again, if you full time, you know.If anything changes over time and continued use, we will update this review.

After purchasing a Comfee portable dishwasher back in February and then having it completely malfunction on me June of this year, after a mere few months of use, I was ready for a new machine.Enter the Novete, which is bigger, way more slick, stylish, sleek and chic, and more importantly, leaves my dishes perfect. How I WISH this had been my first purchase so as to not have to deal with the Comfee which is full of problems.This machine on Heavy mode will leave your dishes spotless, and with the auto dry setting, it makes things so much more convenient. On lighter modes like Rapid or Normal, I’ve also gotten VERY good results. The machine holds a lot more than you think, but unlike a regular conventional washer, you have to play Tetris a bit sometimes in accommodating everything inside the unit, but I promise it’ll come out amazing.After using it as my replacement for the Comfee model, I couldn’t be happier and I LOVE the auto dry feature and how the unit just does everything right. Also, you DON’T need to hook it up to your faucet. PLEASE avail yourselves of the pitcher and loading water up top and you get the exact same cleaning power minus hooking up issues.VERY pleased thus far! :)Also, I’ve added some photos of my machine during different cycles to show just how much it can hold. Pictures of any portable washer show then as small boxy things barely able to fit anything inside. On one load, I was easily able to fit my Dutch oven, a pasta colander, all the cutlery used, dishes and other utensils used during cooking with room to spare on the left hand side, as you can see. This model really can hold a lot, especially if you get creative and fit things in nooks and crannies and I’ve never had something come out not washed well.

I was so skeptical of buying a countertop dishwasher, and only chose this because i watched a video and it fit my big plates. But when I tell you, this product is amazing. It takes longer for sure to do dishes, but I left a spatula out after making burgers for like a week on accident, crud was tarred all over it and it cleaned it instantly. It works with pods and regular liquid detergent. It’s silent, and honestly has been the best method for cleaning my dishes, absolute life saver. No error codes at all, just if I haven’t used it in a while I gotta shake it a bit before I fill it up. Hasn’t leaked at all, no rust. A real life saver, totally recommend

This countertop dishwasher has been a game-changer for my daily routine. It functions exactly as promised—dishes come out sparkling clean, provided you give any hard-stuck grease a quick pre-rinse. The cycles are efficient, and the compact design fits perfectly in my small kitchen without sacrificing performance.I only gave 4 stars because the wash plus the dry cycle takes approximately 2 hours.

I have had this dishwasher for three months now and it works great! I use it daily. I have the model with a window and love that feature so I can see that everything is getting cleaned. As other people have mentioned, pouring water in the receptacle takes practice, because the design is such that water want to splash out. It does come with an adapter to address this problem but I can’t use it because it won’t fit under my kitchen cabinets. I have just gotten good at filling the water receptacle with care so there are no splashes. It should be plugged in while filling with water as it will chime when tank is full. It holds approximately 5 quarts or 5 liters of water. Every feature works effectively, even the drying opton. It’s not too loud. I can watch TV just fine while it’s running. The rack could have been designed better but I’ve gotten used to the way it’s set up. I like the little pull-down shelf for cups or mugs. It has a top and bottom spinning sprayer which is one reason it cleans effectively. I just use Amazon brand dishwasher pods but any kind would work. A fruit cleaning basket is included and I place my fruits and veg that need a good wash in the basket with some vinegar. Works like a charm, doesn’t leak, and is user friendly. I would recommend this product and buy it again.

I received our new Hermitlux counter top dishwasher yesterday evening, a full 4 days sooner than originally anticipated. It was very well boxed and the dishwasher arrived in perfect condition.I knew from reading other reviews that it was important to measure your counter space to make sure this item would fit. I new ahead of time that this wouldn’t fit under my cupboards, so I had made space on the counter next to sink to accommodate it, especially the drain hose which is just long enough. I had read other reviews that stated they couldn’t get the suction cup on the drain hose to work with their sink. We didn’t have that issue and the dishwasher has drained well each of the 3 times we’ve already used it since receiving it.The directions are very poor, but the unit is pretty straight forward and was easy to set up and to use. I’ve used it 3 times on the 29 minute cycle only. At the end of each cycle, I took the dishes out of the dishwasher and placed them in the rack to dry.The dishwasher uses about 5 pitchers full of water. I had no issues pouring the water into the water compartment and once the unit is turned on, it does beep when the water compartment is full.The directions don’t say this, but it appears to me that the dishwasher cycles 3 times. It drained once about 1/3 through the 29 minute cycle and the water was soapy and close to the temperature at which I used when I poured the water in before starting the cycle. The second drain happened 2/3 of time into the cycle and the water was cleaner and warmer. On the third and final drain, the water was quite hot and clear.The dishwasher does get the dishes very clean and I’m quite happy in that regard.What I’m not happy about is the choice of photo shopped pictures that lead one to believe that this unit is larger than it is. I include one of the sellers own “photos” showing placement of cups, bowls, plates and silver ware that are no where close to being a true representation of what this dishwasher is capable of.I have included my own unaltered pictures that show a true representation of what will fit in this ting. It’s ok, but nearly as big as one is lead to believe.The silverware basket is a joke. I had to take the basket top off completely because literally none of my silverware would fit into the tiny holes set up for a single piece of silverware. Taking the top off did allow me to get some silverware in there and it seemed to work ok.The cup rack on top can be pushed up out of the way if not needed. I don’t have a single cup that fits that rack. It’s so small you might be able to get a couple tiny espresso cups to fit, but a single regular 10 ounce cup, let alone my 14 ounce cups. It works pretty good for holding larger utensils and small baby bottles.Everything came out very clean . Oh, it will only accommodate plates up to 10.5 inches. And those have to be angled slightly before the rack can be pushed in.This unit is very limited as to how many pieces if kitchen ware its going to clean in one cycle. But it’s a good stopgap for us until we can get a new full size dishwasher. It’s way better than hand washing and I feel the final cycle gets hot enough that the dishes are full rinsed and cleaned. For the price, it’s worth it.Edit: I changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I’ve had this dishwasher a full month now and I love it. All the dishes come out so clean and I’ve learned how to arrange dishes to maximize wash load. It’s so easy to use. In a normal day, I wash 2 loads of dishes. For me, that’s doable and with how well this little machine cleans, it’s worth to me.

Okay. So I intentionally waited a whole year before writing a review on this portable dishwasher. I did this to make sure that I was able to accurately assess durability over time, as well as effectiveness. SPOILER ALERT–it still works just as great now as it did on Day 1. In fact, I’m using it right now, as I write this review….Now I grew up during a time when parents would give their children something called “chores” to do. If you don’t know what “chores” are, you’re very lucky. Somehow, my daily chore was washing dishes. By hand. No dishwasher. I once asked my folks at the dinner table if we could get a dishwasher installed. What did I say that for?!? The reaction to my apparent blasphemy was immediate: My mom stopped, mid-chew, and gave me a look that could have turned Medusa herself into stone. My dad, seeing this, laughed out loud and answered [tongue-in-cheek] “Your mother and I already have 4 dishwashers–and we don’t need to plug y’all in! Now. Go do the dishes. I’m sure your brothers thank you for volunteering, don’t you boys…” That pretty-much settled the matter.Anyway, fast-forward about 30 years and I live in a rental apartment that-most unfortunately-did not come with a built-in dishwasher. To this day, hand-washing dishes is still my most hated house chore. So much so, that I would let dirty dishes sit in the sink for days at a time until there’s no more room in the sink. Then, instead of washing the dishes, I would just stop cooking and get take-out everyday. All, to avoid hand-washing dishes, as though the dirty dishes would suddenly disappear, or get up and wash themselves, or something.And then, one day, my whole life changed! I know that sounds a little hyperbolic, but that’s the only way I can describe what happened….I was browsing on Amazon [having totally abandoned that sink full of dishes, of course] and this wonderous invention appeared in my You-May-Also-Like thread. I was actually browsing for something completely unrelated, by the way. As soon as I saw it, my jaw fell to the floor. Phrases like “Why didn’t I know about this?” and “Where has this been all my life?” came to mind. A portable dishwasher–who knew!!! The company that makes this just got a little bit richer, because that day, I hit Add-To-Cart immediately.But I consider myself a savvy shopper, so I made sure to read the reviews, the good ones and the bad ones, before I took that proverbial leap-of-faith. When it was delivered and I unwrapped it, it had condensation inside. DO NOT PANIC about that; it’s supposed to come that way, as the manufacturer runs each machine through a full cycle for quality assurance just before shipping it out. I make a point to mention this, because some of the negative reviews were complaining about this, as though it were some kind of problem. In fact, the manufacturer has a video of this very process posted right here on Amazon. So, give it a watch.Now you can set it up to operate in one of two configurations. You can connect the dishwasher directly to your kitchen plumbing, or you can simply fill it with water manually by pouring water into it’s top opening. Personally, I do it manually, since I live in a rental and I don’t want to tamper with the plumbing, and I am definitely NOT a plumber, either. It uses only about 1.5 to 2 gallons of water for a complete load wash and rinse, as opposed to the nearly 10 gallons of water needed to hand-wash dishes in the sink. [Yes, I did compare water usage.] The dishwasher has several speed settings as well. I won’t go too deep into that; it’s in the user manual.But I will say this. I can confirm and attest that the dishwasher does also clean small pots and pans and skillets, as well as dishware and utensils. I mention this specifically, because I did not see anything about whether or not pots and pans and skillets could be cleaned. If it will fit inside the machine [even at an angle] the dishwasher will function.Then, I kinda went on a crazy cleaning blitz, and washed all sorts of things in there: All of those reusable plastic take-out containers I had accumulated; I took down the glass enclosure from the ceiling fan lights; the light bulb covers from the kitchen, bathroom, front and back porch; I even disassembled the chandelier and washed the glass pieces in this dishwasher. All came out bright and sparkly like brand new! Even the grease catchers from my electric stove burners came out clean!As for which type of soap to use, DO NOT use regular dish soap for hand-washing dishes, under any circumstances, as the resulting bubble-action will cause a malfunction. I cannot emphasize this more strongly [I learned this the hard way]. You MUST use dishwasher gel designed for use in dishwashers. I know that there are powders and even pods designed for dishwashers, but I have found out [from my year-long experience] that dishwasher gel is the most effective by far. So, think “Cascade” not “Dawn”.When in use, the dishwasher itself is totally silent. All you will hear is the gentle sloshing sound of the water as the dishes are being washed. Personally, the sloshing sound is quite soothing to me; I have actually fallen to sleep listening to it several times. Imagine the sound that water makes when you are slowly rowing a boat on a calm lake.OMG! I didn’t realize that I had written a book here; maybe it was the soothing sounds of my dishes now being washed for me that has allowed the words to come flowing!Well, my dishes are done.Oh, PS and by the way, It dries the dishes spotless, too!Enjoy!
