It’s a book reader. It works fine and the color and cloth cover are nice. Well worth what I paid for it. It’s light, keeps a charge, and easy to hold. Turns off when you close to save your battery life. I still have 85% battery and haven’t touched it in about 1 1/2 months. Open cover and it wakes up and swipe up to bring your reading up so that makes it really easy to use. Just wish I could find the free books easier. That was the one thing I loved about my Nook. I search and find them but it takes a bit. Nook always had an area you could look weekly on for free books.

The cover fits well and I like the way it shuts my kindle off when I close the cover. It feels well made, like it should last as long as my previous one did (10 years). It protects really well and my kindle fits really well in it. The fabric like texture isn’t very easy to clean though. I read during my lunch and the inside of the cover has some small stains from the lunch table I can’t get off. Not sorry I bought it.

Recently had to replace my old kindle and was forced to buy a new cover, as the size had changed over the years. I have the paperwhite, not the colorsoft, and it fits perfectly. It has a nice feel in your hands, I like the texture. It is sturdy and I must admit, it is much better than the cover on my previous kindle. When I open it, it wakes up my kindle, and it folds nicely behind it when reading. It even matches the color of my kindle. I am very happy with this purchase.

Updated review. Initial problem was that the battery only lasts a day or so, then it is dead. I recharged it twice. Still the same problem. It appears that the camera was NOT in battery mode. It took several tries to get it into battery mode. I believe that the camera should issue a warning if it is accidentally left in wired mode. I am now testing it to see if it keeps a charge.

It works with my doorbell. It’s easy to use. The size is as expected but it’s a lot heavier than my other two batteries. One stopped working so I needed another for when one is dead. This battery only lasted 7 days when my old one lasts 14 days. Which is a little disappointing. Also when I change it to the new one it takes it awhile to register I have changed the battery. It’s only done this a couple times but every time it does it sets me into a panick. It’s good value as long as it lasts.

These screen protectors work really well. They cut down on glare and make the screen easier to see in bright light. I didn’t have any major issues during installation, though I did notice a small bubble on one, not sure if it was me, but it doesn’t affect use at all.Overall, it’s a great value for a 2-pack and keeps the tablet screen safe without changing the display quality. This is absolute flimsy garbage it does not bend the way that the instructions say it puts lines that damages the screen protector, making it junk and the second screen protector it’s full of dust. Even though it says dust proof look at the last picture I uploaded… They don’t give you anything except a cloth and these TINY ridiculous “dust absorber stickers” that don’t remove all the dust cause you can only use the tiny dust absorbing stickers so many times they only give you two of them & I used both on the second screen protector trying to put this on for my child. Look at the last picture you see how well it worked technically how well it didn’t work.Now let me clarify we are a family of 6 everybody in my house has at least one device with screen protectors that I personally have installed/put on them all. Let’s do a quick math, 6×1=6 now with my family getting a new phone, tablets, iPads ect every three to four years over 20+ years. Let’s take 20 years divide that by four years. That’s 5. Now let’s multiply that by six people, that’s 30 installs of screen protectors. I’m not even going to factor in how many phones and devices broke and that had to be replaced and new screen protectors were installed…. What I’m getting at is I am not illiterate in installing screen protectors. I’ve done it a lot….. so much so I am 100% accurate in saying that this screen protector this cheaply made & so difficult due to its flimsiness install so poorly with what come in it’s package. It is also worth noting that this package had come in was not sealed either. It’s just a flip top hard paper envelope. All the other screen protectors I’ve ever bought. There’s a seal on them that you have to break to open it. This one did not have that that should’ve been my first red flag and I should’ve stopped and just returned it. At least then I would’ve gotten my money back…..For how much I paid I am truly feeling ripped off and scammed. I don’t know how this has such high reviews buyers beware!-Mum for Real Life

Just received my ring chime. Set it up with no problems by all the prompts on my app to my 2.4 GHz network. This thing does not work at all, piece of crap! I have it plugged in less than 10′ from my ring door bell inside and its only 20′ from my router. Went into the app to see if I missed anything. Tested the chime through my phone app and it rings just fine. It just doesn’t work with my new ring wired door bell cam. It doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. Update.>>>>>>>This thing may have a intermittent connection problems. It now chimes here and there but is not consistent…….. UPDATE: Ring team reached out via phone and email after seeing my low rating and gave me some tech advice to improve the chime and the inconsistent connection issue I was having. It’s better now after doing a reloading (re-adding) of the chime device through the phone app. At least the RIng folks reached out and followed through on their product in this case.

It was easy to connect and setup, and as it stays plugged into the wall through an outlet, it looks like a nightlight, you don’t have to worry about another battery to charge.It did disconnect once, but was easy to reconnect with unplugging and pulling it up on the app.

I love this case. I upgraded my 2013 Kindle to the new 2024 model, and this case fits perfectly. I love the bold pink, but the case itself is wonderful. It doesn’t really add too much weight, and I love that it will help keep the screen protected and clean. It’s got a nice feel, and reminds me of an older fabric covered book. The inner microfiber fabric is soft and feels nice when I’ve got the cover folded back. The magnetic closure isn’t super strong, but seems just right to keep it closed when not in use, especially if it’s in a bag. I’m super happy with the case and my new Kindle!

This case is for the regular kindle model, NOT the paperwhite. As long as you know what kindle model you have, it’s going to fit correctly despite what some reviews say. The paperwhite seems to be more popular that people forget there is just a regular plain kindle! Anyway, this case is beautiful. I’m not usually one to spend the money on name brand cases but i loved that this one was going to match my matcha kindle perfectly and it looked like great quality. I have had Kindles since the Keyboard and like to swap out each one between several cases. In all my years of experimenting with other brands, nothing beats the quality and durability of the Amazon branded cases. The magnetic closure is more secure, the colors match the Kindles themselves if you want them to (yay for the Matcha match), they seem to be scratch resistant which you can tell by feeling it. There is a unique look and feel to this type of case that I like. It would be nice to see a return of the older rubbery origami covers. I loved those the most of any style.

I’m just more of a fan of these digital reader than I am of actual books. I love that I don’t need a physical bookmark and that it keeps a log of all the books I’ve read. I have a coworker who prefers actual books and she keeps a journal / log of all the books she’s read this year. I don’t need to. Event though this smaller basic model doesn’t have the warmer tones option, I don’t mind at all as I can still adjust the brightness. Again, I’d definitely recommend the case that comes with it.

Bought this case for my kindle.Now, I’m typically a Everything-Must-Be-Black kind of guy. Black phone case, black headphones, black desk, black lamp, etc.But I chose to deviate. Afterall, I’m an adult. I have free will. I might as well do something with it.So, when I upgraded my kindle, I chose this case. The pictures don’t really do it justice. I love this case. It feels nice to hold. It’s nice to have some material other than plastic and reminds me of the days when I had my old LG G4 (smartphone) with the leather back (yes, it was also black leather). Textures make a difference.-It feels like it’s built well.-It protects my screen.-I like that it wakes up my Kindle when I close it (for some reason, in my head I keep thinking that if I use the button on the bottom, I’ll wear it out. So, it eases that anxiety, as illogical as it may seem).-My wife spilled coffee on it, and I don’t see a stain on it. My Kindle is not waterproof, so I think this case saved its life.-It’s durable that I just toss it in my backpack. It holds up.-The magnet does okay (could be a tad bit stronger). But it holds it closed well enough, and when reading and folded all the way back, the magnet holds it there, too. No floppy covers here.

Ok, I have had this remote now for a good few months and I gotta say, I haven’t ran across any issues what so ever. The voice function works good. The (find my remote) alarm works great. And that function alone is worth buying this thing. These little fire remotes always seem to get lost. They can slide down in couch cushions, get wrapped up in blankets, fall behind beds, or just misplaced in general. So having the ability to ask Alexa where the remote is and she turns on an alarm on the remote itself so you can track it down is perfect. This remote also has back lit keys so you won’t be fumbling around in a dark room trying to make sure you’re hitting the correct buttons. Now the lighted keys only turn on when your fingers brush over the keys. So I’m sure that helps out with battery life, however, this is the only issue I have came across that does put a damper on the remote, is that this thing will drink up batteries very quickly. Not sure how often you will be using your remote, but I can drain a set of triple AAAs in a couple weeks in this remote. Now I shouldn’t have to tell you that batteries in remotes can last for many many months. I have even had some that last for over a year. So when I blow through a set in 2 weeks, you know it’s gonna start costing you. I decided to order a couple sets of rechargeable batteries so I always have a good set to toss in. One thing to note here is if you just leave your remote sitting on your couch or in your bed, some items coming into contact by brushing up against the keys, can cause the lighted keys to turn on. Now this is another reason the batteries can die out more quickly. All in all, looking past these personal things, I still think this remote deserves a 5 star rating. It is definitely better than the old stock remotes that came with the old sticks and cubes. And the added blank buttons that allow you to program in what apps you want to open for personalization is a game changer. Do I think this remote is a bit overpriced? Yes. But like most things, if you really want it, you pay the price. Would i suggest this to others? Yes. And I already have gotten a few of my friends to upgrade to this remote. They dig it also. Just make sure that if you buy a cover for this, that it is the correct cover to fit this remote specifically. Covers for the other fire remotes will not fit this one as they are about a half inch different in length, and the button layouts are different. I do hope this review helps some of you out trying to decide if this is worth buying.

So one of my crazy cats knocked my remote off the counter and was throwing it all over the place playing with it. Somehow the internal microphone must have broken as it no longer responded to voice commands (everything else worked fine). I picked up one of those super cheap ($6) no name remotes that supposedly works with my fire cube (the pop-up message stated that it works with all my fire devices). It did technically work for simple commands but none of the multi-button press shortcuts worked. I use “voice view” amazons built in screen reader for the blind. There are many times when that feature needs to be toggled on or off and the easiest way is by pressing and holding down the “back” and “menu” buttons simultaneously for a few seconds. Anyway, it seems that only the legit Amazon branded remotes can perform these tasks. So I had to order up this one as it was n sale for less than the basic version at the time (still pricy considering that for a few dollars more you can get a fire stick and remote).This remote pairs instantly, much faster and easier than with the no name remotes. As soon as it paired, it immediately asked to update the remotes software so I did. It also immediately generated an Alexa app message on my phone that a new device was found. I’ve never had that happen with a remote before. Ends up that’s part of the “find remote” feature that this remote has. It’s also backlit which is nice. With an Amazon branded remote everything, including the multi-button shortcuts work flawlessly. The only thing that I miss (having low vision) was the colored app buttons as those were easily identifiable. These buttons have the app name printed over a standard black button. At least the microphone button is still colored blue so I know which way is up at a glance.

This case is fantastic. It fits very well, and the sleep/wake function works perfectly. The outside of the case is smooth and comfortable in the hand, and the microfiber lining is soft. It’s very easy to get the kindle in and out of the case, but it has a snug and secure fit. When you fold the cover of the case around to the back to read, the cover is held against the case magnetically, which keeps things neat and makes it easier to hold. This is by far my favorite paperwhite case. It just feels very high quality, looks great, and I think it’s well worth the price.

I set the dock in my office ????, which is so convenient to just walk up and place it to charge or grab it to read ????. It does not need a charge but at times I just place it to get it back to 100%. The case cover in pink is gorgeous ????, the feel is awesome ????, sturdy ???????? and fits to perfection ???????? even with the skin I added to my kindle for a little more protection ????. The Anker dock I absolutely love; I also own Anker battery packs etc so I am enjoying this dock and have no doubt it holds up to what it needs to do ???? Now for the kindle colorsoft…. it’s everything I expected, small, very well made, super clear, I know how to navigate it so I set it up to my preference and the clarity is on point ???? for day time and night time reading…. auto adjusting is awesome to use…. Waterproof ???? I would hope it works ????, I did place it on my waterfall and little water specks ???? got on it but nothing to be ???? sure that the waterproof works but have no doubt it wouldn’t if I ever came around water ???? Navigating the store to purchase is easy peasy ???????? I love ???? seeing the screen pictures in color ????️ when I open my Kindle ???? Very easy on my eyes ???? no straining…. Just perfect ???? This Kindle Colorsoft has blown my mind! It is everything I’ve wanted in a Kindle that I could never have before. I tried switching to a tablet to read books as I missed having color and felt sad with the black and white one every time I opened it. But I didn’t like dealing with the bright tech lights and how it felt like reading from a phone.The Colorsoft combines what I love about a tablet with what I love about a Kindle into one awesome Kindle! It is basically a Kindle Paperwhite but with color and a warm light function as well as brightness function. It is backlit, easy on the eyes, and even the color is adjustable to be standard or vibrant.Some people have complained about the screen not being as crisp, but I love it. It really feels more like reading a book, and does not bother my eyes when I want to take a break from screens and just read. I have not had any issues with a yellow line either. This is literally the best Kindle I’ve ever had and I will never go back to black and white again!

i got this for my grandmothers fire tablet for christmas. she loves the color and how it matches her tablet. its easy for her to use and hold. it does not make the tablet much thicker. her being 90 years old, she loves how she can use it to make it stand up. puts the tablet right to sleep to save battery.

Now if I could just remember where I stored it ???? Bought the hubs a Kindle and it took awhile to come in. I placed the cover somewhere to wait to present them together but it’s been a couple of months now and it still hasn’t come out of hiding.

I usually have thicker cases, so this to some getting used to. At first it was awkward trying to get my tablet to stand up, but I’ve you get the hang of it, it’s not too bad. If you want a slim case that doesn’t add bulk to your tablet: this works Great. I only wish it had a stylus holder.

Very over priced. The Max 11 was designed to sell peripherals for profit. Frankly the fit is strong and functional but the cover seams are so close that they make using the tablet buttons very difficult. I had to cut the seams away from my buttons and file the hard white inner plastic back.There have been a whole Lot of problems with my Max 11, from many Amazon Apps crashing to eliminating hundreds of my documents/ebooks. From having to Factory Reset to Restore to not having any way to plug in headphones, not even with a power cord/headphones splitter. The Nov 2024 Photos App update is horrible and nowhere near as good as the previous app. May I recommend using the FinalHit photo editting app instead? Because that is really good on everything but captioning (you can) which Amazon’s Gallery and Photos apps no longer does.The Max 11 may have a beautiful display and a fast processor but I would avoid it if I were you.This is the ninth Amazon fire tablet I have had and I may not buy another one.I really hated the problems I have had with it.I gave the cover a 4 because the magnet is strong but you will also find it kind of hard to separate the two sides of the cover because they are so close.

It works! My Samsung was getting slow. This works great. Larger screen, so if I want to watch a video while sewing, crafting or listen to a book_podcast I can. I do not need yo use my phone.

This color is really nice and fits the fire tablet perfectly.

The card being said from Amazon: was created for the Kindle Fire, but after you buy one, the proof is in the pudding!!!. There is so many options you find for this card after you install your: SanDisk 128 SD Memory Card to your KINDLE Fire. Besides all the options you will have, when you go to check out the card in your “Apps and Games” area after it’s in, it has it’s own area next to: downloaded app, then you will see “apps that can be movied to the SD Card” that’s built right in so you want need a app to move things to your new card. It show you a list of the apps you have on your system that can be moved to SD card, or not. Some apps are not movable, and that’s ok! The ones that are not able to move are not supposed to be moved for the reason, they need to read things out side of the card. Some give you options to move anyways, but will tell you that you will not be able to use widgets and other objects, etc, etc. Just don’t get a SD App and try to force things in to the card that shouldn’t be moved. I find also that my Kindle Fire is faster adding everything to the card, so that’s a big plus, even my browser is faster, but we do use Chrome. The reason you hear that 1-to-2% having problems with this card besides coming to the realization after they buy a 128GB card, and see they could have bought a much smaller one since they had plenty of room to begin with. Most also are not waiting for the card to get everything lined up to work correct. Let me explain: Just like you should give time for the Kindle Fire to load correctly, also give your new card time to load, because besides it getting everything ready for you to use it, and carrying a ton of information at 128 GB, it’s also checking to see if there are any other apps that need to be moved as it starts up, etc. It’s not just a board with apps pinned to it, there is allot of information it is checking on, and also depends on where you added things from, so it can be checking allot of different areas too, thanks to Kindle Fires Åwesomeness!!! You can tell when it’s ready, because the Icons on your desktop will turn dark to normal till it’s ready to go, so don’t be like the 1-to-2%, be smart, be patient!. Did you ever wonder why there are only a few who complain about objects we buy? Well besides they can’t spell correctly? There the one who break things screwing around, because if they can’t spell, there sure not going to read, and that makes them not patient enough and they think they must complain to get there money back. We are just like computers, they need to be rebooted after every download, and so does a Kindle Fire, it needs to be ‘re-booted after adding anything, and hard-booted if you ever have a problem. If you do not know this, you will be that 1-to-2% with problems because you never took time to read about your KINDLE Fire. That’s the first two things you must learn besides cleaning your cache, and making sure you have no malware in your Kindle Fire. These four things are a “MUST” TO KNOW, and that way you can give great reviews too when done :-). Also, the reason we say this is for a: Kindle Fire 5TH Gen 10.1 is we tested this card on one. So those with a 5TH Gen who been looking to find the right 128 GB Micro Card, look no further!. Only two weeks in, but the memory card seems to working great.I got this card for my kindle as it was specifically recommended by Amazon, and my kindle came with only 8 gigabytes of storage, which is ridiculously insufficient for any modern complex operating system expected to accumulate data. Even worse, it’s not really 8 full gigabytes. (Also, I got tired of being nagged about running out of space after taking only a few dozen photos.)Computers like numbers that are in powers of 2, and work best with processors and RAM that are built on powers of 2, which is why you usually see numbers like 8, 16, 32, etc. and not “strange” numbers like 10, 21, 43, etc. For this reason computer systems have *traditionally* used 1024 (2^10) as a base when reporting storage usage in kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes, etc.When it comes to a physical storage medium, however, capacity does not have to be a power of 2; it can be whatever number of storage positions will *physically fit*, the only real requirement being that the computer processor can count that high.Manufacturers are notorious for cutting corners in manufacturing wherever possible then hyping up their products. In the case of the kindle, Amazon used 1000 (10^3) as the base of its “8 gigabyte” claim and aimed for a physical arrangement that would guarantee *at least* 8,000,000,000 bytes of storage (1000*1000*1000*8), over half a billion bytes short of 8,589,934,592 (1024*1024*1024*8). Not surprisingly, SanDisk did the same thing with this less-than-32-gigabyte memory card, as this deceptive practice has become an industry standard. But I digress a bit, my point being that an 8-gigabyte kindle affords you with MUCH less storage space than you would expect, necessitating a memory card for expanded storage, especially since the kindle’s operating system uses a LOT of overhead, and every application you install also wants to use a lot of storage.When inserting your new memory card (or removing it) it is best to do so while the device is turned off. Mobile devices are finicky when it comes to “hot swapping” memory cards, often refusing to read the card, or even worse, damaging the card and corrupting data.After you’ve inserted the card and turned the kindle back on, go to Settings ->Storage, and move all the option sliders to the right to tell your kindle to utilize the memory card as much as it is willing to. Unfortunately, some features will still waste space on the internal storage, e.g. screen captures and blue tooth file transfers will NOT be saved to the memory card.To “move” my kindle books to the memory card, the easiest way was to delete them then re-download them. To move other personal files to the memory card, I connected my kindle to my PC and used Windows Explorer.From the previously mentioned settings menu, you can also move *some* applications to the memory card. Before and after the move, the amount of storage used on each disk is displayed. Moved applications will still use *some* space on the internal storage, and funnily enough, moved applications use more TOTAL storage than when they resided solely on the internal storage.One application I did NOT move was ES File Explorer, as this is a system-critical application (due to the kindle’s shortcomings).It should also be noted that the kindle’s crappy built-in file browser CANNOT locate the memory card. The files *are* there, but you will NOT find them without a proper file browser like ES File Explorer. Also, some programs (such as the red Notepad) will not be allowed write permissions to the memory card!A few days ago my wife turned on my kindle and it updated itself which took over half an hour, which seemed unusual because when I observe updates they tend to run much faster. Afterward, my kindle stopped recognizing the presence of the memory card. The solution was to turn off the kindle, remove the card, turn the kindle on, then back off, then reinsert the memory card, then turn the kindle back on.The card is working great, and is less than 3% full while my kindle has less than 1.5 gigabytes free.Update 2018-04-23Last night just before I went to bed, my kindle battery was running low. I was too lazy to go find a charging cable, so I just turned the kindle off.This morning I turned it back on, with only 12% battery power remaining, and found that several program icons were dark. When I tried to launch one of them, I was told that the program couldn’t run because the memory card could not be found! I tried removing the memory card and restarted the kindle like I described in my original review, but the memory card could STILL not be found.I took the memory card out and connected it to my desktop computer and confirmed that it was in perfect working order. I then put it back in the kindle and connected the kindle to my computer, letting the charge process turn the kindle on. The darkened icons were still dark, and I saw a flash of the memory card icon at the top-left of the screen. I opened ES File Explorer which located the memory card and showed me its files. I went back to the home screen and none of the icons are dark any more.I guess my piece-of-crap kindle doesn’t want to exert any effort accessing the memory card if the battery power is red-lining when the device boots up.
