  • Smart, Stylish, and Perfect for Every Room
The Echo Pop fits perfectly into our smart home setup — compact, great sound, and incredibly handy for everyday tasks and whole-home communication.Pros:Crisp sound for its size and great color optionsAnnouncement feature is perfect for getting everyone’s attentionAdding grocery items or reminders by voice makes life easierCons:Limited activation names can cause multiple devices to respond if spoken too loudlyWe already have several Alexa speakers throughout the house, and the new Echo Pop was a great addition for the kids’ rooms. The design is compact but stylish — the lavender and charcoal colors both look great. Setup was simple, and the integration with our existing devices was seamless. The announcement feature is one of our favorites; it makes calling the kids for dinner a breeze without yelling up the stairs. We also use Alexa to play music in each room or sync the entire house for a full-home sound experience, which works flawlessly. The ability to add items to our grocery list just by saying it out loud has practically replaced our old notepad. The only minor frustration is that there are only a few wake word options, and sometimes multiple devices activate if you speak too loudly. Still, for sound quality, convenience, and price, the Echo Pop is a fantastic addition to any smart home. Keywords: home automation, Alexa, speaker, Echo Pop, smart home
  • ¡OMG, This Little Guy is a Game Changer! ???? totally obsessed!
Okay, so listen up. I wasn’t sure if I needed another Alexa device, but I saw this Echo Pop in Charcoal and the size was just perfect, so I was like, “Why not?”. Best. Decision. Ever. Seriously, this little speaker is my new best friend, and I’m not even exaggerating. It has fit into my daily routine so seamlessly, it’s kinda wild. ????First off, its size is everything. I live in an apartment, so space is a big deal. I put this one in my kitchen, right on my tiny coffee bar, and it barely takes up any room. The charcoal color is super sleek and just blends in. It’s so low-key, but it packs a punch. My morning routine has had a total glow-up. I’m not a morning person, AT ALL. ???? But now, my alarm goes off and I just say, “Alexa, good morning,” and BOOM! She turns on my smart lights (not too bright, thank God), starts my “Wake Up Happy” playlist on Spotify, and tells me the weather forecast so I know if my plan to wear shorts is a go or a fail. It’s like having a personal assistant before I’ve even had my coffee. Game changer.Sound-wise, I’m actually shocked. For such a small speaker, it sounds amazing. I’m constantly having little solo dance parties while I cook dinner. ???? Last night, I was making pasta and blasting some Bad Bunny, and the bass was surprisingly good, zero distortion. The sound totally fills my kitchen and living room area. It’s crisp, it’s clear, and it gets pretty loud. My neighbors probably know all the words to “MONACO” by now, LOL.And it’s so freaking useful for random stuff. I’m constantly yelling, “Alexa, set a timer for 12 minutes” for my pasta, or “Alexa, add paper towels to my shopping list” the second I run out. The other day, my hands were covered in flour while I was baking, and I needed to convert ounces to grams. Instead of washing my hands and getting my phone all messy, I just asked Alexa. It’s these little things, these “life hacks,” that make it so worth it.Honestly, for the price, this thing is a total steal. It’s the perfect entry-level smart speaker or just an awesome addition if you already have other Echo devices. It’s functional, it looks cool, and it makes my day-to-day life so much easier and more fun. 10/10, would recommend. If you’re thinking about it, just do it. You won’t regret it! ✨
  • Great product, poor software.
The device itself is fantastic. Great sound, volume, the mic picks up commands from around the room without multiple devices answering at once. Response time is good, sometimes it will cut you off mid sentence because it thinks it knows what you want. Pretty sure it doesn’t have a battery.Aside from that I would like to take a second to talk about Alexa itself. It isn’t a great application. It seems to be a bunch of containerized apps jammed together with little to no active connectivity. It is almost like there is no backbone to the system and it is just a bunch of apps individually communicating with each other one by one. Even the echo devices have trouble interacting. I have this one and a normal Echo, the Echo pop is in my bedroom and is responsible for my morning alarm among other things. I was having issues with the music being too serine and it putting me back to sleep instead of waking up. I attempted to change the settings through the other Echo device only to be told no Alarm existed. I tried to get this Echo to realize the other Echo did have an alarm set for 6, it kept telling me no such alarm existed. As to not waste anymore time I instructed Alexa to create an alarm set for 6am and it responded that an alarm already existed… “Do you want to replace it?” Yes, replace the alarm with a new one. “Something went wrong” “Do you want me to replace it?” Yes. “Something went wrong” “Do you want me to replace it?” No. It was stuck in a loop. I decided to order the steps myself, Alexa, delete my alarm a 6am. “Alarm deleted” Alexa, create an alarm at 6am. “An alarm has been created for 6am”. The functionality is there, it just cannot complete certain actions without individual direct commands. It’s ability to perform multiple steps in a single command are lacking, this leads me to believe it’s recognition and comprehension skills are non-existent. A similar thing happened when I tried to connect Alexa with my Spotify account. My phones OS is too old to connect via mobile app so I had to get the PC app (not easy to find) and after a lengthy conversation with Alexa it came out that the PC app did not have the functionality of the Mobile app. It doesn’t make sense to have two separate apps for the same product. Regardless, I asked for a workaround and Alexa got stuck in another loop of giving me instructions to connect through the PC app only for me to have to correct her about the PC version not having the capabilities. I tried to change the wording but we kept going through the same dance. IT’S LIKE TALKING TO A GOLDFISH. There is limited memory. You could have the same conversation 10 times and every time is a new experience with Alexa. It blows my mind that with all the amazing AI around today Alexa is so bad. Amazon, the huge megacorp cannot figure it out with their flagship product in the space.
  • Best kitchen addition
I love my Echo Pop I keep it in my kitchen, and it’s the perfect size. The sound is clear, and Alexa responds quickly. I also have it connected to my doorbell, so I can hear when someone’s at the door super convenient! Great little smart speaker for the price.

  • Safe & Reliable
This ring camera was easy to set up and gives us ease with security measures in place. Footage is clear and you can adjust the motion sensitivity on your preference. I have no issues with ours and am glad I made this purchase!
  • Get On the Bandwagon, It’s Worth It!
I love having the Ring doorbell! It took me a while to get it, and I’m very glad I finally jumped on the bandwagon. I subscribed to a plan and also got an extra outdoor camera and indoor doorbell chime. It was easy to setup and install and easy to maintain. I like all of the app features and settings and how it alerts me for things like when the battery is getting lower and then lower and for different motion detections. You can customize zones, motion sensitivity, what is picked up on motion, schedules, etc. The picture quality, day and night, is very good, as well as the audio. It connects easily and hasn’t dropped. Breeze to charge.I highly suggest adding at least the doorbell to your home! Whether for your own security, peace of mind, keeping up with the comings and goings at your home, and/or for coming in handy for the houses/neighbors around you, it’s a great setup to have.
  • Great investment.
I appreciate having this Doorbell camera as my apartment door does not have a peephole, opens directly to the outdoors and there’s is no way to visualize who was at my door. It was easy to install with the door mount, set up was easy and seems to work very well. It captures most movement in it vision field and sometimes vibration of the train as it goes by. So far there hasn’t been any issues with connectivity and the battery charge lasts for a month maybe slightly more. I recommend this iitem.
  • Buy it!
Super easy to install. (I installed it myself without my husband knowing) Make sure if you’re choosing to hard wire it like I did you turn the power off to your doorbell ( I had to turn a breaker off) and you power down the device as well! Has great quality for video. Connects to everything so easily. Super easy to use. The perception & range it gives for the camera is amazing! same with the color and brightness. It detects everything as intended. You do have a 30 day free trial with the new purchase device. I already pay for the annual subscription’s so I’m not bothered by paying for it. The night mode is super nice to have as well. The pictures of the live feed are screenshots. But still great quality!Only one con I have is. I hooked it up to my old doorbell device thinking it would ring it inside on my old one. (That’s installed inside my house) That isn’t the case for me unfortunately. So I think I have to buy a chime pro. Or figure out if it’s even possible to do.
  • Excellent video
The quality of the video is excellent. My only complaint is that it seems sort of random regarding what motion it detects. It will see the flag, the neighbors, the cars, etc but will miss a delivery person. Scrolling through the video you see nothing and suddenly a package appears from nothing. So weird. Otherwise it works well and is very good quality.
  • Amazing ring camera
I’m thoroughly impressed with the camera’s video quality, and the setup process was incredibly easy. With a strong WiFi connection, you can expect seamless performance and access to all the features without any delays. Notifications on point!
  • My new best friend!
Very easy to install (this girl did it by herself with an almost dead drill!) app is easy to use, and it comes with a neighborhood chat. picture is great, motion detection isn’t the greatest but that’s okay. I like that visitors can contact you directly by pressing the button, and you have a backlog of videos that you can save directly to your phone. I have 3 Alexa in my house, and they notify me when someone’s at the door and I’m not looking at my phone. Battery life is great, lasted me almost 3 months, from mid August to November 5th (it notified me the battery was low at 30%, so it probably could’ve gone longer). I also haven’t had an issue with it connecting to Wi-Fi, though it’s not far from the router.I used to have a Night Owl outdoor camera system, and Ring is so much easier with much better camera quality and motion sensing. I’m so glad I switched! It’s definitely worth the peace of mind, now I just need one for the back door!
  • Hate the built in battery ????
I bought this not realizing the battery isn’t removed to charge…. You can’t just pop in a fresh battery! You must bring the whole camera inside and have nothing protecting you while it charges. This also means buying a new camera every time the battery wears out. Total waste of my money. My mistake, I didn’t expect ring to sell a security camera that has to be taken offline for hours every time you turn around ???? It also doesn’t have an angle mount, so you can’t aim the camera at an angle to capture video or motion if the approach to the door is from the side…. Probably going to be uselessUpdate: I figured out a way to attach it to my old angled mount (clear tape). I taped the included mount to my old angled one. The tape is not noticeable because the doorbell is in front of it… I also ordered a solar panel (there went my prime day savings on it) ????. But I have to admit it has a very nice clear picture. The pic is sharper on this camera at night that the old camera was in daylight! I only took off one star for having to get a solar panel. If issues arise I will be adjusting down.FYI: I connected a solar panel, which is working great, but the info on device health in the app is different than expected. When I first connected to the solar panel this doorbell showed hardwired in the health display in the app. A few hours later it changed to battery. I thought it was because it was dark out then. It did not revert back to hardwired tho. I was trouble shooting and saw they make a plug in to use house current. That device warned that it may not show hardwired because of a software issue. Supposedly it is still working then. I imagine this also may apply to solar panels too….

  • Excellent home assistant
I love my Echo Dot. The sound is very clear for its size, and the assistant responds quickly to commands. I use it to listen to music, control lights, and set reminders, and everything works wonderfully.Setup was very easy, and it connects easily to Wi-Fi. Plus, the design is modern and looks good in any room.Definitely a great purchase if you want to make your home a little smarter. ????????
  • Fast delivery and awesome device
My Amazon Echo Dot arrived super fast and setup was a breeze. The sound quality is surprisingly good for its size, and I love using it to control smart devices and play music. Definitely recommend if you want a handy smart speaker!
  • Great Sound and Smart Features in a Compact, Family-Friendly Device
The newest Amazon Echo Dot has been a great addition to my kids’ bedroom. The sound quality is excellent for such a small device. It is clear, vibrant, and powerful enough to fill the room. It’s also perfect for our daily routines; we use Alexa for reminders, chore announcements, and even quick drop-ins between rooms, which makes family communication so much easier. For a very busy household, this little speaker feels like a real helper. The routines and voice control features make it simple for the kids to interact with, and it helps keep things running smoothly without me needing to call out reminders constantly. The only frustration we’ve had is with Apple Music connectivity. Alexa usually needs to be reminded which service to use, and we occasionally have to repeat commands. Still, for the price, convenience, and overall performance, it’s an excellent addition to our Echo smart system.
  • A great product for the price, but may not hear you well in loud enviornments
Looks great and sounds better. The only reason that it’s not five stars is that I have to speak louder than I should have to. I do have a fan, to be fair, but my old echo could hear me over it just fine.Secondary to the star rating and the main review, I got this so that I could try out the new version of Amazon Alexa. It is so much better than the previous, though it is early days. So it’s a big buggy for now and has some hiccups.
  • Cool Little Sphere; Fast Voice Response!
Must have better memory and CPU than the earlier ones we had, because it’s FAR MORE RESPONSIVE.Great Sound, quality feel; looks great; feels great.Very pleased with its responsiveness, sound quality and functionality. And even though it’s not really designed to allow it, I used a battery-stand portability add-on from my Echo R2 and its power plug rating and shape matched fine. That was a nice unexpected feature.Peachy! All Good!
  • Perfect conditions.
I have time with it and it serves perfectly, it also has a good price.
  • Subject: Great Sound and Smart Features in a Compact Design
I’m really impressed with how much the Echo Dot has improved over the years. The sound quality is surprisingly clear and loud for such a small device. I use it every day to set reminders, check the weather, and play music while I get ready in the morning. Alexa also connects easily with my smart bulbs, so I can turn lights on and off just by speaking. Setup was quick and simple, and the design looks great anywhere in the house. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for a reliable smart assistant!
  • Great sound and very useful at home
The Amazon Echo Dot works great. The sound is clear and much louder than I expected for its size. Alexa responds quickly, it’s very easy to set up, and it helps me control the lights, play music, set alarms, and reminders. It also hears well from a distance. A very practical device for any room. Highly recommended.

What Customers Say:

  • Easy Setup Works Great Low Price
Amazing product. I had been using Roku for years, but after getting a new DSL modem and router, the signal would not pick up at the other end of our house with Roku. However, now that I have Amazon Fire TV Stick, it not only picks up the signal, but is a huge improvement over the other things I have tried. Works great and includes many options the other brand did not. I especially enjoy being able to use the SILK browser to get online and view web content on my big screen TV. I highly recommend this for streaming, internet access and its other features.
  • A smart gift idea to cut the cable
I got this for my in-laws so they could cut the cable — and I’m happy to say it’s been a hit. Right out of the box, they were able to set it up easily (not very tech-savvy folks), and now they’re enjoying streaming without being tied to a cable box. What we like:Setup was straightforward: they didn’t need a ton of help, which is always a plus when gifting older folks. The interface is clean and intuitive, so they feel confident navigating; no endless menus or confusing jargon.Big win: they’re saving money now that they’ve ditched the expensive cable subscription, and this product gives them access to all the streaming apps they use (and a few they didn’t know about).Works smoothly: no major glitches, buffering or freezing (in their setup at least). My in-laws mentioned they feel like they’re “in control” of their viewing again — pick what they want, when they want it, no surprise charges.A couple of notes:If your internet connection is modest, you may notice slightly slower loading of shows — my in-laws live in a suburban area and their WiFi is decent, but not blazing-fast, and so far it’s been fine. Some of the “extra” features (voice control, premium apps) might require separate subscriptions — you’ll want to factor that in if you’re helping someone set this up.Overall verdict:If you’re shopping for a gift for folks who are ready to ditch traditional cable but still want the comfort and familiarity of TV, this is a great choice. My in-laws are already talking about how much easier life is now, which is the best kind of review. Definitely recommended.
  • Its easy to set up and functions well
Its easy to set up, and worth the price. Im able to stream, carefree and enjoy my shows. The remote functions well.
  • GREAT STREAMING DEVICE!
Super easy to set up and fast to use. The picture quality is excellent, and the apps run smoothly. Perfect for turning any TV into a smart TV. Highly recommend!
  • The Amazon Fire TV Stick HD is a fantastic budget-friendly
The Amazon Fire TV Stick HD is a fantastic budget-friendly option for turning an older 1080p TV into a smart streaming hub. Setup was a breeze—just plug it into the HDMI port, connect to Wi-Fi, and you’re streaming in minutes. The Alexa Voice Remote is a highlight, making it super easy to search for shows, control playback, or even manage smart home devices with voice commands. The interface is smooth for the most part, and I love having access to all major streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and more, with crisp 1080p picture quality and support for HDR10 and Dolby Atmos.Performance is solid, but not flawless. The quad-core 1.7GHz processor handles streaming well, but I noticed occasional lag when navigating menus or switching between apps, especially compared to the Fire TV Stick 4K. The reliance on Wi-Fi 5 instead of Wi-Fi 6 can lead to slight buffering in busier network environments, though it’s not a dealbreaker for 1080p streaming. The Micro USB port for power feels outdated in 2025, and I wish Amazon had switched to USB-C like most modern devices. The value for money is hard to beat at $34.99, especially for upgrading a non-smart TV. It’s compact, easy to hide behind the TV, and the Alexa integration adds a lot of convenience. However, if you have a 4K TV, I’d recommend spending a bit more for the Fire TV Stick 4K for better performance and future-proofing. For what it is, the Fire TV Stick HD is a great choice for casual streaming on older sets, but the minor hiccups keep it from a perfect score.
  • Does a nice job without alot of $
Easy to set up , works well.. but I have to say the cord that comes with it doesn’t work to do a direct hookup..you will need some type of fire cables..( that was disappointing) speed is fast I have no buffering.

What Customers Say:

  • Great outdoor camera for remote applications
This is the 4th brand of camera installed on the top of a street sign to monitor the condo’s entrance gate. The first two brands worked for a short period and then kept losing wifi connection randomly. Next I tried cellular camera and while it worked satisfactorily, the cost of the cellular service plus the manufacturer’s cloud storage plan was over $300.00 per year. The cellular camera used a solar panel to keep the proprietary internal battery charged. After extended periods of cloudy days, the battery would need to be replaced, requiring keeping a second battery and proprietary charger. Initial investment in this camera, solar panel, spare battery and charger approached $500.00. The Blink Outdoor camera plus a Blink wifi extender cost just over $100.00 and runs on two AA batteries. The video quality is just as good as the cellular camera and the cost for it’s cloud storage was $40.00 per year. The Blink camera was much, much easier to get set up and running and the phone app allows for many more options on field of view, type of motion to detect and can allow multiple phones to monitor the camera. I can’t comment on the battery life since the camera has only been in service for 1 week. I have removed and reinstalled the batteries after setting up the camera to verify that none of the camera settings would have to be re-done. All three of my previous cameras would randomly lose their wifi or cellular settings when changing batteries. The other cameras that did not work well for my application may be just fine for other uses. I needed an inexpensive camera that could function 300′ to 400′ from the closest home wifi router. The Blink Outdoor 4 appears to be the best product for this application.
  • Amazing wireless cameras and monthly plan.
I have been wanting a security camera forever. But have to way to hardwire the system in. So i was looking for a alternative to solve my solution. I bought the ring camera first but it was to big and only had a small field of view.I bought this set for $49.00 on prime day. I haven’t regretted it. The cameras are fantastic! Motion detection is awesome, it works great. Letting you know when motion is detected.. and the detection is very good at picking up anything in the field of view, which is a a wide field of view. You do have to pay a sub after the 30 day free trial for cloud storage, All your clips of motion or detection that you get alerted to are in the cloud. And this is a must! So with that in mind. You will be paying $3.99 a month for one camera and $11.99 for unlimited cameras. One other thing. Since it is wireless you have a slight delay from the live camera. This doesn’t affect the recording as it is captured live and you can play it back. It really isn’t a big deal. I love them ! And one of the best things about this thing is it works with alexa. The dots or the show. I have both and when motion is detected Alexa tells you. It is a very good and quick response to the motion. If you have a Show you can ask Alexa to show you one of your cameras to show you the feed and Alexa will open up your camera on your show as a live feed. This is where the slight delay is. It is enough to notice slightly but not a deal breaker buy any means, because of Alexa and the cloud you have instant notification.
  • Decent Upgrade (Update 10 April 2025)
Just received this today, and it does show an improvement on the quality. Feels and looks beefier. When updating your activity zones, there are more squares to select than the previous versions of these cameras, which I like, to fine tune the areas I want. ** And, I think the inactive zones you set up, are ‘actually’ enforced and work as expected than the older generation cameras.TIP **25 September 2023 – For those having issues about wifi signal strength, you may need to mess with the router’s settings to increase signal power. If your router is between walls, behind the tv, etc. you will see degradation in performance and responsiveness in live view. I have a gaming router set on a high shelf, because routers work best when they’re in a high spot. My cameras that are outside have no issues with Wi-Fi strength and are responsive when live-viewing.Field of view has improved significantly and you can see a large difference between versions of cameras.Good thing is that the mounts for the previous cameras WILL work on this camera. The mount it came with is an improvement to previous versions. Flat base, not cone-shaped.I’m currently trying the person detection from the trial with this camera, and will update over time on the performance.**Person Detection since having BO4 as the trial, has been great! It has significantly cut down on the amount of unwanted notifications caused by wind, car/sensor lights, animals, etc. I do feel that you can save battery life significantly, even when the sensitively is set higher. Having too many notifications does get annoying at times, but I think Blink is definitely making an initiative to make these camera a gamer-changer, while still maintaining ease of setup.Price is a tad high, but you may consider the monthly payments, which I did.**28 August 2023 – Taking a snapshot/photo capture from these cameras, at night, non-night vision, pointing in a lighted area is sharp(er), than any previous version. No images included due to security. Haven’t tried night vision alone, but I’m confident the same sharpness is applied.**29 August 2023 – The Motion Recording Types cover Person Detection and All Motion. I have one camera set with Person Detection enabled with sensitivity level at 8, and it didn’t detect me driving my car in/out of the garage. I would’ve thought Person Detection would encompass ‘some’ normal motions, but I think we must take it at face value that when set to Person Detection, it will ONLY detect persons, you don’t get the best of both worlds unless selecting All Motion. Sounds dumb to say, but though I’d make it aware. Update** On a ‘very few’ instances, this camera did detect my car entering and exiting our garage. So my thoughts originally have shifted, but I think over time with continued firmware updates, it will hone in on its accuracy.1 September 2023 – One camera fell offline/unresponsive. Suspicion is on firmware updates being applied, or, weather factors since it’s low 60° outside. No issues with home network or signal strength to camera. Will continue to monitor/self troubleshoot. **I took out the batteries, and tested them, showing still a full charge/health, and placed them back in, bringing the camera back online.4 September 2023 – One of my BO4 cameras with Person Detection enabled was at level 8 sensitivity, and on a windy day, did alert that there was a person at (insert camera name). It alerted a few times during the day (under 5 instances), but not a big deal. My guess would be that as BO4 continues to develop, the accuracy will improve in its detection.8 September 2023 – Setup of 3rd BO4 camera set in an area where there is minimal/no lights. Due to security, no images. Taking Live Photo with the IR intensity set at LOW. Some haziness/fuzziness but the area is lit up, and provides better detail than previous versions of Blink cameras. As you increase in IR sensitivity, the Live Photo (in HIGH IR setting) increased in sharpness and reduces glare and fuzziness significantly. **I placed some solar floodlights in the area of this BO4, and with low IR sensitivity and once the lights are triggered, the video capture was much sharper than previous versions of Blink cameras. I only have video quality set at normal, so I’m impressed with BO4 so far!28 September 2023 Another BO4 fell offline around 11pm. Last occurrence was due to a firmware update being deployed, so this may be due to the same thing.1 October 2023 – Installed my 4th BO4, as I’m looking at all the point of views both in the live shot and live view, it feels that it elongates everything. I know my driveway isn’t that long, but comparing it to previous generation cameras, BO4 view appears to add like 20ft+ to my driveway. I can understand the other reviews concerned about the range detection, as I do notice some times it will not catch movement, especially if I’m moving slowly or based on camera positioning, but at sensitivity level 8-9, I would like to catch movement at a farther range. As I continue to implement BO4, I will continue to observe performance.6 October 2023 – It appears one of my BO4s point toward the road at max sensitivity IS NOT catching cars passing by anymore. Seems that v13.34 that was pushed out, affected the range despite any setting changes. Not a concern (yet), but I’m hoping newer updates will fix range issues and sensitivity. **Update – camera seems to be capturing movement now at a lower sensitivity set at 6-7. May’ve been a change in traffic flow by the house, in which there may be less cars, however, will continue to observe BO4 performance.4 November 2023 – Installed another BO4 camera while also upgrading one camera with a battery expansion kit. This is specifically for BO4 cameras, not previous versions. The expansion makes this camera much heavier, however, the mounts they come with (and previous) will support the weight without the mount drooping/moving. I’m not a fan of adding more bulk to the camera. Also, this battery expansion will not use camera’s battery slots, and instead uses the expansion for 4 batteries. I would’ve preferred an integration that would’ve retained the two onboard batteries + two for expansion. Other than that, the BO4 cameras have been wonderful to use, with overall quality/sharpness. I do hope that future updates will improve motion detection and range, respectively. Nonetheless, these are worth an upgrade from previous versions.15 November 2023 – I’ve noticed recently that BO4 will notify of Motion/person and it will not record that instance. It happens sporadically, so it is a slight concern, but not enough deter me from purchasing another BO4. Over time as more updates are pushed to these cameras, I expect the overall effectiveness will improve.6 December 2023 – BO4 has been a great upgrade for my system. There are still occasions where I’ll receive a notification of movement, but does not record that moment. It’s very rare now with the update to v13.41. I still see issues regarding the sensitivity not working as expected. One camera is set at 9, toward the road, and it does not always catch cars driving by. Not a showstopper, but I can see now it’s range detection could be an issue for others. With recent Blink app updates, you now can adjust the length of video recording (previously it was adjusted by every 5 seconds), which is great! Allows for better customization for your needs. I wish this was the same for the sensitivity (0-99 vs 1-9). Overall BO4 has been accurate with Person Detection, and the subscription for Blink Plus for $10/mon, is very reasonable for any household to use to expand features.27 January 2024 – BO4 has been working exceptionally well. I still have the Blink Plus subscription to allow the Person Detection feature, and it’s accurate. There were certain instances that BO4 cameras did not record movement such as my neighbor chopping his tree down. I also noticed there were connectivity issues during that time that left a large gap in my list of recordings. Not a showstopper, but concerning for those security moments. Range also plays a factor in detection, so I continue to hope that future updates will improve this. Overall, upgrading to this camera is well worth it. Wait for the sales to get these at a cheaper price.16 February 2024 – Decided to update the Blink Sync Module because I realized I was still using the 1st generation sync module. I updated to the 2nd generation sync module, and I noticed there’s more of a delay when live streaming my cameras. I did a reboot of the sync module a few times, but I still receive a slight delay. One camera I have at a longer distance is unable to be live viewed despite Wi-Fi and sync module connection have full bars/strong connectivity. Still attempting to troubleshoot but I think something about the firmware I updated to since it’s the first time connecting. Further investigation is needed. Overall, the cameras are working as expected!18 February 2024 – Identified that the issue was NOT the Sync Module 2, and rather my own internet. Reboot modem, router and network switch, and saw significant improvement in BO4 camera responsiveness. Additionally, I will take into factor that weather was not great at the time of incident. Since this, the Blink cameras are working as intended!22 April 2024 – I’ve bumped up to the yearly Blink Plus subscription as the Person Detection feature has been wonderful! Eliminated unnecessary notifications caused by wind, sun/shadows, or other movement. It does save your batteries! There are occasions where there is a notification of movement, however, it does not record/save the video. Not sure if there are delays, but I continue to have confidence as new firmware is pushed to BO4, it will improve overall performance. Since having these cameras, I haven’t had major issues, and Blink support have been helpful and receptive.Other things I’ve noticed as far as delays in live streaming, are caused by your upload speeds. The higher your upload speeds are, the quicker the response is. Additionally, consider adjusting your Wi-Fi strength from your router/wireless access point, as this also contributes to the responsiveness.Overall, I am pleased with Blink Outdoor 4 cameras.8SEP2024 – BO4 Cameras have been great! When pairing it with the Blink subscription for cloud storage and the Person Detection feature, it’s helps with cutting down unnecessary movements caused by animals/shadows/etc.Occasionally, I would still receive Blink app notifications for movement, but it will not record it. Not sure if this is still an ongoing bug, or late push notifications from previous captures, but it doesn’t impact my rating for the product.I wish detection sensitivity was improved or expanded upon to allow for timely capture of events.10 April 2025 – Since my last update, BO4 continues to meet and exceed my expectations for a quick and easy setup for a camera system. While WiFi signal strength is not a concern for my cameras, it is something to think about for your best setup for these cameras. While there is a new Blink Sync Module XR which expands range, I have not used it for my setup.I’ve changed/upgraded all my cameras to BO4, and I’ve very pleased with the battery life, and the Person Detection feature to minimize recordings caused by animals, cars, lights, etc. Person Detection still needs a bit of work because a few times, it would detect deer, and notify me it’s a person. May be a deal breaker for some people, but, overall person detection is pretty accurate.

  • Mad Mad
This Alexa show 5 doesn’t answer when i call, light up whatever, it’s not working right! Some times it’s ok, then some times it’s not working!! I’m so upset, I can’t write the review the way I want! It would be horrible words! I contacted them, and they handled it right away!! So i had to come back, and change my review! Now happy!!
  • Great Product, and you can save a bunch if you trade in an older device!
I actually used the “AMAZON TRADE IN” program to replace and older display that I been using for a few years. Setup was easy and too around 5 minutes to do. Once it was setup I was able to upgrade it to the NEWEST ALEXA release for free, and it is working great. The sound is better, and I believe the display is sharper. Personally I think it’s a little expensive, but I’m on early retirement/disability. I bought it to work with some smart bulbs and plugs to make things easier for myself. And since I had a older display to trade in, it saved me more that 50% off. I definitely recommend this display, and if you can use the “AMAZON TRADE IN” program, it will save you a LOT!
  • SO LAGGY SOOOOO LAGGY my personal opinions stick to the echo dot
NOT GOOD! Obviously this is just my two cents in my opinion on this other people might have had good ones but The only way that this will get seen is if I put a five stars or else Amazon will take it offSo when we first got it, I could already tell right off the bat that it was laggy so incredibly laggy the screen would not work I mean right out of the gate. I opened the box plugged it in and put it on Wi-Fi. Did the updates all of that and still the thing would not respondit took Alexa almost 5 to 10 business daysto process any request. The model is good. The concept for the model is really good because it is small. It’s compact way smaller than I originally thought it was gonna look but the screen not good volume control pretty decent but my echo dot has way better sound volume than this thing has if you’re literally just wanting it for a screen hook up an iPad to the wall because you’ll get way more response that way than you will from this.
  • Wish it stayed on after unplugged.

  • Amazon echo show model 5
I loved it, and it works great for checking the weather, viewing my camera, and playing music. You can ask it anything you want, and it answers instantly. The screen is sharp, and the sound is much better than expected for its size. Alexa responds quickly, and setup was very easy. Overall, a great addition to my smart home setup. And it’s easier for my alarm or any reminder. I love it.
  • I held off for years – very happy I finally purchased it/them!
In all authenticity I’ve stayed away from all things Alexa since day one and never wanted it in my home. I’m a tech savvy nerd who saw/noticed that technology was going down the wrong fork in the road a few decades ago and began reversing things “in my control” at my end. I finally caved on Alexa, though skeptical, I enjoy my privacy and right to anonymity, which we little to none left of. True, no matter how many settings I shut off I know what Alexa, Siri and being online itself causes (any WIFI and Bluetooth connection), but I did cave and I’m enjoying these a great deal.Voice recognition is superb, they’ve obviously done a lot more with Alexa than Apple has done with poor Siri who barely functions anymore. Connection is amazing in my home, I bought 2, one upstairs, one downstairs, then paired them. Setup was super quick – though I don’t love having to use the App, again I’ve reversed things “in my control” for quite a few years which includes no use of any apps other than staples (camera, photos, text, etc.), so I’m not thrilled that I need to use the App, but I use it briefly, do whatever I need to do on it and immediately close it.These little guys are wonderful, sound is fantastic, and that’s with one speaker upstairs and one speaker downstairs, you can’t even tell that it’s setup that way – excellent sound! Volume is wonderful and I’ve really been enjoying it! I still have a way to go on learning the ins and outs, I find a setting, set it, then forget where I saw it/found it to adjust it, but I’m super new to anything Alexa and the Echo. As much as I love it and I do, I don’t know if my direct through the wall home owner loves how loud I have one of my alarms set “KIMBA IT’S TIME TO TAKE A SHOWER – YOU NEED TO GO TO UPS” is set so loud with a repeat 3 times LOL. It cracks me up, but it’s amazing!I bought the stands (sold separately) for each and I’m really happy I did. I think this Echo is worth every penny and I’m thrilled that I bought 2 of them – I love that when I run upstairs and downstairs I don’t lose the songs I’m listening to. One thing I adore, once I figured it out, is the ability to shut off insights and all things I don’t want to see or hear about – I just love the music, the alarms, lists, reminders and weather. It’s hilarious, I keep saying (again very new) Hey Alexa, I mean Hey Siri, no I mean Alexa … and then Siri/on my phone says something like I’m sorry but I think you’re looking for a different service haha.Excellent product, excellent quality!

  • Hold A Thousand Books in Your Hand
Imagine holding a thousand books in your hand. Imagine wearing your jammies while getting that next book in your series, and starting into it a minute later. Imagine reading at night in bed without needing a lamp because your book is backlit (and the light doesn’t hurt your eyes). Imagine having your kindle read to you (even if you don’t have audiobooks) with text to speech while you drive or fold laundry. The 12th edition of the Kindle Paperwhite is a fabulous device and well-worth considering if you read a lot. It’s not too big, not heavy, waterproof, and easy to carry in your purse or backpack. Note that if you get a cover with it (highly recommended), when you open the cover the Kindle turns on automatically to the last page you were reading. With the cover open it feels like you’re holding a thin book — or fold back the cover if you prefer. The Kindle E-reader is not a computer. It’s not a tablet or a phone. It is a gizmo that acts like a book with a black-and-white flat e-ink screen showing typed sentences and paragraphs. You turn pages one at a time, just like a book. There is no movement on the page and no distraction or advertisement*. It is just text, plus any images that the author has included to illustrate his book.*NOTE: The advertisements on the Kindle are on the main page not the individual book pages and just show books you might like. They are unobtrusive. The backlighting, unlike a computer, tablet, or phone, is gentle because the Kindle’s light is directed onto the screen, not into your eyes. You can change lighting level and add warmth (yellow lighting), decide on dark screen or light screen, and change the size of the print to make your reading experience “just the way you like it.”It’s super-simple to access your own ebooks or to find new ones either on your computer or directly on the Kindle. They load in less than a minute onto the Kindle, ready for reading. Keep in mind if you are a reader that ebooks tend to be half or less the price of the same books in print. You can even find FREE ebooks and audiobooks on Amazon and/or use the Libby app (libbyapp.com) to borrow LOCAL LIBRARY books. You may want to consider subscribing to Kindle Unlimited for $12/month so you can download an even wider selection of free ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines from Amazon to keep as long as you want. Can you tell I love my Kindle? I am wowed by having so many books so easily accessible — not like the time I took that 5-hour flight with one crummy poorly written book and nothing else to do. This 12th generation Kindle is fantastic. The battery lasts a long time. The screen is plenty sensitive for page turns and navigation. I go through one or two books a week easy with this little device.Ebooks have revolutionized the publishing industry, and if you are a reader, the Kindle may be exactly what you’re looking for. If you read many ebooks on your phone or a tablet, consider being kind to your eyes with a Kindle. If you are resisting because you aren’t sure you’ll like ebooks as well as print books, I say what the heck, the Kindle may be worth a try. It’s like driving a racing car rather than a horse and buggy. You might decide you love it.*NOTE: To enable TTS (text to speech) so that your kindle can read to you without audiobooks, turn on your wireless headphones or speaker. Then on your Kindle, tap the top of the screen, then hit the three dots on the right. Go to Settings. Hit Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, then Bluetooth Devices. Select your device so your Kindle will recognize it.Next, close the window and go back to Settings. Hit Accessibility, then turn on Voiceview screen reader. The Kindle should start talking to you. If it’s glitchy, just turn off your bluetooth device then turn it on again. Remember that you have to give double taps not single taps on the Kindle to navigate actions. If you want to change the volume or reading speed (I like 1.25x) just double tap on Voiceview screen to show and customize your settings.
  • Best Kindle to be able to read anywhere in anylight
I love my kindle so easy to use and you can adjust for the best lighting for you to enjoy reading anytime and anywhere. The only problem I had was I ordered a cover that was recommended for my kindle, and it would not fit. I did the mistake of thinking it would and tossed away the receipt so wasn’t able to return it. Anyone ordering a Kindle be smarter than me and make sure the cover fits before discarding the receipts. Would recommend this kindle to anyone desiring one. Great product
  • A piece of technology that will ACTUALLY improve your reading life.
MY GOODNESS what a revelation this device is. E-ink is the coolest thing ever. It is actually a huge triumph to be able to make something as age-tested as reading EASIER. E-ink is seriously impressive. The display tickles that part of my brain that is telling me im looking at words on paper. The Paperwhite has a backlight that makes it easy to read in any lighting. You dont have to buy a book light, you dont have to leave a lamp on, you dont have to worry about the sun making the Paperwhite unreadable. In the sunniest of environments (the beach), you can see the Paperwhite with extreme clarity. I havent even mentioned how incredibly light the device is. For being E-ink, the Paperwhite is actually very responsive. It does have an IPX8 water resistance, but i wouldnt put that to the test (look below review for fun side note on this). Perfect for the beach or the pool. It has literal weeks of battery life and will improve your reading life more than you ever thought. Grabbing one on black friday or on prime day is a great deal for sure, but I feel like the normal price is completely reasonable for the incredible technology going on here.IPXX – the “Ingress Protection” rating works like this – The first X represents dust ingress (dust getting in). Since its an X that means it doesnt have any protection for that. The second X represents water ingress (water getting in). Since its an 8, it is actually one off as high as the protection number for water ingress gets. Meaning an IPX8 rating means its pretty good at being waterproof. The more you know.

  • Light, Compact, and Perfect for a Romance-Reading Kindle Girlie!
As a Kindle girlie who can’t get enough of romance novels, I got this 16 GB newest-model Kindle as a second device, and it’s perfect. It’s light and compact, easy to hold for hours of reading, and the faster page turns make flipping through my favorite love stories so smooth. The screen is easy on the eyes, even in low light, and the battery lasts forever — perfect for sneaking in a few chapters at night or on the go. With 16 GB of storage, I can carry all my romance novels wherever I go without worrying about space.Overall, it’s sleek, portable, and ideal for anyone who loves getting lost in a good romance. I couldn’t be happier!
  • A good starter Kindle
This Kindle is small enough to hold with one hand it’s pretty light. The screen quality is really good. Feels like I’m reading a book not a computer screen and I like how they added dyslexia font to all kinds so now I can read a lot better and I like how you can borrow library books, and put it on the Kindle. and the battery life is wonderful for long trips and this kindle is good for taking anywhere, it’s easy to use and the price is not that bad for an E reader perfect for people who don’t want to spend a lot of money for a Kindle. This was my first Kindle until I upgrade it to the colorsoft Kindle. but if you’re not reading comic books or graphic novels, this Kindle is a good one for any one who wants to try Kindle. The only thing I do not like with the Kindle program is the trade-in value sucks. so I just end up keeping the Kindle I’ve already bought. But that’s my only complaint about the Kindle. I get better trade-in for my Apple iPad from Apple but Amazon does not give you a good trade and value towards a new one which is why I hardly ever upgrade, but the book selection is wonderful. You can use it with your local library using Libby Goodreads is connected to it. Amazon needs to look into another program because Goodreads sucks. I like how Kendall gives you encouragement to read every day and it will ask you how many books you want to read in a year and tell you your progress and I really like that and I like how people with dyslexia can now read more comfortably if you just want to read books this is a great starter Kindle
  • Love this kindle!
Love love love my new kindle. I love the color, how it looks like paper, it is so small I can take it anywhere. I’ve been trying to avoid social media and because this is so portable I can take it with me anywhere and read instead of doom scrolling. Affordable price for such an amazing product. Get it
  • A great travel device.
This kindle is the perfect size for on the go use or everyday use. It fits perfectly in my small backpack sling purse. The battery life is great. Page turning is quick. Very easy to read in many light conditions. Brightness can be changed in the settings. I love it so much; I bought it as a gift for a family member this Christmas.

I have the Paperwhite, but I always end up grabbing this Kindle because it’s so lightweight and easy to hold — I can comfortably read with just one hand. The screen isn’t as crisp as the Paperwhite, but it still looks great and is easy on the eyes. What really impressed me is how fast it responds compared to the older generation. One small thing I noticed: when the Wi-Fi isn’t actively being used, it doesn’t show as connected on the screen, almost like it goes idle. But if you tap “Sync,” the Wi-Fi reconnects instantly and works fine. The only downside is the battery drains faster than I expected. The Matcha color is beautiful, the size is perfect, and the adjustable front light makes reading comfortable anywhere. Overall, it’s a great everyday reader that’s light, fast, and super convenient!
  • Favorite Way to Read
I absolutely love my Amazon Kindle. It’s lightweight, easy to hold, and the screen is so comfortable on the eyes — no glare, even outside in the sun. I didn’t realize how much I’d appreciate the adjustable warm light until I started using it at night. It makes bedtime reading so much easier and doesn’t strain my eyes.Battery life is incredible. I charge it maybe once every couple of weeks, even with daily reading. The page turns are instant, the interface is simple, and the built-in dictionary and highlighting tools make reading so much more enjoyable. What surprised me most is how much more I read now. Having all my books in one place and being able to download a new one in seconds is a game changer. If you love reading — or want to read more — the Kindle is 100% worth it. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve made.
  • Love it
I love this thing, it’s easy to use and absolutely easy on the eyes. It’s small and compact enough to fit in my smallest backpack and purse, the color is super cute and I’ve been reading nonstop since I’ve bought this thing. Highly recommend.
  • Wonderful and love the color
I recently replaced my old Kindle with a new one, and I’m really impressed with it. The color is vibrant, and the size feels comfortable in my hand. I also purchased the case, which I like as well. The screen quality is excellent, and the battery life is impressive. The touchscreen is user-friendly, and it’s easier to turn pages than my old Kindle. It doesn’t freeze as much either. I highly recommend this Kindle. It can hold a lot of books, and it’s easy to use. If you’re looking to download books from the internet, you can even use a browser on it. The Kindle fits perfectly in my purse, and I just love it.

  • It’s Watching Everything … Even My Package’s Shoes
Okay, real talk: I bought this Ring Battery Doorbell thinking, “Cool, I’ll see who’s at my door.” But what I didn’t expect was what they’re wearing. This thing has head-to-toe video — so now I know if they’re showing up in flip-flops or stilettos.TechCrunch+1Why It’s Basically a Spy Camera (In a Good Way):Full‑body view: With a 150° × 150° field of view, I can spot packages on the ground AND suspicious squirrels doing yoga on my porch.RingColor night vision: When I caught that weird-shoe-wearing delivery guy at 2 AM, I saw everything. Not just shadows — color. It’s glorious.TechSpotBetter battery life: According to Ring, the new model lasts up to 23% longer between charges. So I’m not unmounting it for a recharge every three weeks like some amateur.TechCrunch+1Easy install and removal: The push-pin mounting system is pretty clever — I can pop it off to charge without needing a full gymnastics routine.TechCrunchA Few (Slightly Dramatic) Downsides:Because it sees that much, bye-bye privacy: My neighbors probably think I’ve installed Big Brother.I’m now “on camera” every time I leave the house — including the 3 AM pizza runs. The first time I saw the full-length camera view in the app, I yelled, “Wow, I can see my doormat better than I see myself in the mirror!”Bottom Line:If you want a doorbell that’s basically a mini CCTV — but cuter and less judgmental — this new Ring Battery Doorbell is a riot. It gives you a 360-ish view, lasts forever on battery, and makes checking for porch packages feel like browsing Instagram for your delivery. Two-thumbs-up from this slightly paranoid, very entertained homeowner. ????????
  • Way better than my Blink Mini 2 out there!
I have both Blink and Ring Security Cameras of different types all over and only use the Ring because of the far superior Camera and User Friendliness. I can view all my Ring Cameras with whatever Computer Device I have that gets Online. I am not bound to an App such as I am with my Blink devices which means I have to fiddle with my Phone or Tablet to use them. I prefer using my Computers for my Home Security and on the Phone only look at the Notifications; never try to View anything from the stupid Phone. Too small a Viewing image and all that touchy tappy tap tap slide B.S. is just too much with a dumb Phone. No, I use a real Computer for my Security. This Ring Battery Doorbell is a real winner. The viewing angle is incredible; it sees EVERYTHING. When someone Rings it its a pleasant Alert. Not a jolt or obnoxious Alert. I like it very much as I do all of my Ring Products. I will stick with Ring here on out or until something better comes along. Which I doubt wuill happen any time soon. Go Ring all the way!
