    Wonderful product. Well worth the money.
  • Does NOT work with mac, despite seller saying it can. Disc says only Windows.
    I checked, and it said it was compatible with Mac, but the disc is ONLY for Windows. Didn’t get time to actually try and use it til 2 days past the return window (shame on me). Haven’t even used the code that came with it, couldn’t figure out how to open it til I noticed the disc itself says Windows only. Don’t buy from this seller.

    Originally gave this less stars because of problems activating, but the company helped me resolve the issue. The kids are enjoying it now .

    It was easy to load onto computers. I email tech support once and they got right back to me with a new code to install it on all my kids’ computers. No viruses, no problems, works great! Good buy!
  • I can’t even use the product!
    I had to enter an activation key. It came on the paper packet holding the disc inside the container. It said that it was past the trial phase. What a waste of money. I messaged them and it has been 3 days and I have yet to get a response. (Them being the software company link that comes on the screen of the activation key.Update: They did finally get back to me and I was able to get it functioning. My kids do enjoy it.

    This came in a hard case, looked very official, had a little paper sleeve inside the hard case and it had the product key on it so I could register it. It was simple and easy

    This would not install on my laptop came up as malware try repeated attempts.

    I am a big fan of Typing Instructor Platinum. I purchased the Gold version because it looked newer, but my antivirus software continually kills it. I have tried everything to stop it with no luck. I have even call the support line and left two messages for the company that owns typing instruction and they have never followed up!

    I bought this game for my son and he loves it. I remember it from when I was child. It has lots of practice work for reading, math, science, with none of the the extra fluff. The mainstory line is fun to watch as well. I purchased the whole seires.
  • Nostalgic at best
    I bought these thinking they would be as cool as I remembered. They weren’t, in fact the software is outdated, and I had a hard time installing them on my newer PCs. The game play was frustrating and not easy to manipulate. Basically technology has changed so much that your initial instinct on how to play the game is not usually correct. We had to learn by trial and error, mostly error. It was overall not a fun and rewarding experience, forget about educational. We spent more time trying to figure out how to play the game than we did learning anything.

    I’ve been on this nostalgia trip & have been trying to replay games from my youth. Decided to buy this one & give it a go.I’m actually SHOCKED that this game not only worked on my Windows 10 laptop, but also didn’t crash at all! For a decades-old game, that’s impressive. I think I lowered the resolution on my computer, which probably helped the game run smoother.My laptop doesn’t have a CD drive, so I use an external one. Not sure if that makes a difference… Just something to keep in mind. But it was really fun to play this game & relive my childhood. Still great, even though it only took a few hours to beat the whole game.

    My 8 year old LOVES PC gaming so getting an educational game is a great way for him to learn. He enjoys this game and it’s what I expected. Graphics are a bit shabby and it freezes during one math exercise every time. But besides that it’s a decent game for a good price.
  • Mystery of Mathra & Mystery Mansion Arcade
    I purchased this set for my 8 yr old daughter in 3rd grade. She is enjoying the Mathra game but doesn’t seem to like the Mystery Mansion much yet, for some reason. She keeps going back to the Mathra game and she will play it for hours, it holds her interest and she doesn’t get frustrated with it, even though it does seem to challenge her skills. She has requested that we get more Cluefinders games for her to play and learn with. I have Windows XP on a desktop PC and we do have some issues with this game freezing-up, she says it does save where she’s at, so she just turns everything off and reloads the disc, it doesn’t seem to bother her much. I’m not sure if it’s a software issue or perhaps it’s an issue with clicking the mouse too fast or too often and freezing the PC, just be aware of this if you buy this disc set. I consider this a good purchase for us.

    I have no idea how this game is – just warning anyone planning on purchasing it to check system requirements. It is marked windows/mac, however, you have to click on more information to find out the complete system requirements. Will not run on newer mac or window systems. Waste of money.

    The best video game/ edutainment game in the world. although I finished it in just under 11 minutes so it doesn’t take too long to beat. TLC version is better than the Mackiev version btw.

    Bought the cd so we didn’t have to worry about the virus issue we read about. Nope! When we tried to install, NortonVirus caught a virus and we decided to return. Disney needs to go back and fix this. My kids were excited to use it but disappointed when it wouldn’t install. Don’t waste your money. We are returning it.

    My six year old granddaughter has not viewed it at this time, so a critique of the program is not valid. This is the reason I gave it a three star rating. If it is as good as Reading Blaster 6 – 8, I’m sure it would get a higher rating. One thing I did notice, when I opened it up on my large monitor was that the program screen was not that big and did not adjust the screen to the monitor.as was the case in Reading Blaster Ages 6 – 8.
