The most beautiful sounds!! My daughter saved up her money and asked for this! It’s easy to hold in both hands and play! The wood is beautiful and as a Mom with no experience it was easy to make beautiful sounds! Considering getting one for myself!!

Great for a beatmaker:So I ordered this Kalimba after I saw a SP-404 mk2 beatmaker use one in the process of creating a song. I thought it was pretty cool, so I decided to get one. This one comes with a lot for the price. As others mentioned in their reviews, you get a bag for it, a cleaning cloth, a tuning hammer, finger guards, and some stickers to help you differentiate the keys. It’s a great deal for this full setup and I’m very happy with my purchase.I downloaded the tuner app for android and I can confirm that the unit comes in perfect tune out of the box. If you ever need to re-tune it, you have the hammer to do so. The wood on the unit feels very high quality, and it sounds great. I prefer to use it with the finger guards, because I feel like I get a better sound out of it that way. The sounds sound clearer to me using the guards. You don’t have to do that though if you don’t want, and can just use your bare fingers.All in all, this Kalimba feels well put together and for the price you can’t go wrong for all you’re getting with it. I highly recommend you grab this unit if you’re even remotely interested in playing a Kalimba. At $23, you can’t beat it. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

Easy to play and lots of fun. I mostly just bang around instead of playing actual songs. I find the sounds to be soothing and calming. Finally my thumbs have a higher purpose, to make beautiful music.

I’d give this 10 stars if I could. Comes with a quality tuner, polish cloth, prong labels etc. Made of quality wood. Comes in a nice box for good storage. Nice product!

The media could not be loaded. Off the bat, I’m going to be reviewing this kalimba as a Starter/beginner kalimba and not as an extremely professional, high-end piece. I’ve been playing kalimba for a very short amount of time on my partner’s much more expensive alto kalimba and loving it. But the alto has fewer keys and the keys are set up opposite of a usual 17 key and finding tabs for the alto was very difficult. I’m someone who gets into hobbies and then drops them a few months, even weeks, later so I didn’t want to purchase a pricey kalimba if I wasn’t invested.That’s where this kalimba comes in. For a little over $20, I figured I could mess around with it, see if I enjoyed the instrument before purchasing an expensive kalimba. I was extremely surprised by my initial impressions of this kalimba. The look of the instrument is absolutely stunning and the sound right out of the box is lovely. I believe I may need to tune the furthest keys as they are a little buzzy but, overall, you get a pretty solid piece for next to nothing cost-wise.Pros- Very inexpensive- Beautiful appearance- Classic, “music-box” sound- Tune correctly out of the box (two keys are any exception)- Lots of goodies (tuning hammer, manual and music tabs book, stickers for the keys, black bag for storage)- Ergonomic shape with the side dents for your thumb to rest- Like most kalimbas, learning the basic mechanics of how to play is very easy- Engraved keys (the listing and many Q&As answered by the seller say the keys are not engraved but mine did come engraved and I think it is absolutely beautiful plus helpful)Cons- Multiple reviewers experienced the same damage from a crack starting at the soundhole and running to the base after a month+ of owning (I have not experienced this but will update if this happens)- Tuning hammer feels it is made of cheap material (will see if this is a problem later on)- No real paper trail on where this instrument was manufactured (may not be a con or even a care for many but knowing where your piece was made and exactly by who can be important for some)- Does not include a pickup (this might be a moot point for many but, higher-end kalimbas, such as the alto kalimba from Kalimba Magic I first started playing on, have an electronic pickup for amps)- No ability to request non-standard tuning (the vast majority of people want a kalimba tuned in Standard G. However, if you want a different tuning [aren’t confident you could do that yourself], you won’t be able to ask with any of the kalimbas found on Amazon for a different tuning like you can with other manufacturers like Kalimba Magic)Pro/Con/Neutral- Small (great for children and folks with small hands like me but might be annoying for someone with larger hands)- Lightweight (again, great for children and small-handed folks but could be frustrating for someone who wants a hefty instrument)- While gorgeous, I do question the quality of materials used. The craftsmanship is beautiful but, without knowing the specific source of all the material, it is difficult to provide feedback on the quality.I’ve included a few pictures and a (poorly focused) video of the kalimba being played. You may be able to hear the “buzzy” or “fuzzy” end keys in the video but, overall, this was tuned wonderfully. Additionally, I have not tuned or done anything to the kalimba besides play it a few times. This is the sound out of the box.I think this piece does the job for anyone test-running if they want a kalimba or not. It is very cheap which makes it easier to jump into; no pressure if you don’t enjoy it and decide to give it away, donate, or just leave it on your shelf to mess about with once every few months. For a starter kalimba (barring any sudden and random damage as other reviewers have experienced with this specific piece) I rate this 5/5. It has everything a starter kalimba should have at a price point that is very difficult to beat. Compared to other, high-end and professional kalimbas, it absolutely lacks in multiple areas but, if you’re just test-running this interesting and wonderful instrument, this little piece will help you explore. And, when you’re ready to upgrade to a professional kalimba, you won’t feel as though you wasted any money or time with this little cheapy buddy!

Purchased this for my 9 year old to be able to continue her practice while we were out of town for an extended period. I loved that the batteries lasted and are still good even after a week of practice. No need to find an outlet to use the keyboard.The kids love playing with the demo buttons. The keys are smaller than a regular piano, but perfect for 9 year old hands.The one con about the keyboard is the volume. When turned on, it is very loud and needs to be turned down before playing. If you want loud music, then this is perfect. If, however, you are practicing in a small hotel room, be sure to turn it down right when you turn it on.

I brought this for my daughter as she is a beginner and wanted this for Xmas but she is such a good girl I got it early for her. She uses it every day and she loves it.

This is NOT a full key length as it was advertised. It’s a toy, but I’m not mad about it.All of my keys work, and the volume control works very well. It’s not too loud, so my kiddo can go ham on it. Sound quality could use some work— but I’ll take it for what it is: $25 is cheap, so don’t expect it to sound like a legitimate grand piano. Beware that sometimes when you turn it on, it might not turn on right away. I had to unplug the USB and put it back in before turning it on, and it happened maybe 3 times out of the 40 or so times I have turned it on and off.The review section is only allowing me 1 video to upload despite having many I recorded. However, I guess the video I uploaded shows the keys work and what it sounds like as Tone #000 which is one of the grand piano tones.

This is a fantastic little keyboard for a very low price! I’m a pianist and teacher outside of regular work. A girl at work wanted to learn to play an Adele song, but had no piano. So I bought this to lend to her. Even though it is not full size keys, it’s still workable for an adult. She’s learning and enjoying it very much. I also have had an opportunity to experience Rockjam’s great customer service. Again, fantastic! Quick response, and obvious caring about the customer.

I’m quite impressed that this only cost me $24 and with a coupon I got it for $19.It’s way bigger than I was expecting. About twice as big as I thought it would be. I purchased this primarily for the color and because I wanted to add a very cheesy keyboard to my arsenal for those songs that need it. Not the least bit disappointed in the sound. It’s VERY cheesy. It has some interesting features like sustain and vibrato. I can see using these on occasion. It’s also going to make a great travel keyboard for sitting under a tree at the park and sketching out ideas. The action of the keys is about as plasticky as you’d expect. Not as bad as some toy keyboards you might get from a dollar store but not as good as say a Casio toy keyboard. There is no noticeable delay from the keystrike to hearing the sound which was something I was concerned about. Lots of cheap keyboards can’t seem to even do that much. Most of all I’m in love with the yellow color. It’s hard to find keyboards that I could actually see myself using that come in a bright lemony yellow color. As for the battery compartment that I read in some comments won’t close when batteries are installed, I had no issue there at all. I don’t know if it’s a problem that has been rectified by RockJam or if those buyers had gotten defective keyboards or if the batteries that you use makes a difference. I’m using rechargeable Enerloops. They fit just fine. Like all low end nearly toy keyboards this one benefits greatly from adding effects to it. Highly recommend you pass it through an effects pedal or something similar to get the most out of this gem. Reverb is essential.

My bay girl love it. She is having piano lessons and we need one at home so she can practice to improve and this just works wonders. Has good quality, and you can adjust the high so it grows with the kid at least until a need of more keys. And the sound quality is very good.

update: after a few other adventures (because of the flimsiness of the stand, the keyboard fell and the headphones cord broke in, and wasn’t able to hear the sound anymore, nor use headphones), mic has its own personality and it’s working at its own will, on and off). Donner reached out and they refunded me in full, and let me keep everything. I was able to mess with the headphone port and get the keyboard to have sound again, but i still can’t use a headphone and the port is now compromised :(. the stand is still flimsy and annoying to no end. the seller, however, said this is not how it’s supposed to be. they stood by their product. I would definitely give another chance to the keyboard itself (aka buy it again), having the confidence in good customer service. but not sure about the stand, really. Anyways, added a full star for the customer service. still taking one star off for all the nuisance with the stand, low-quality mic, and lack of stickers.purchased this for my 7 yr old. I have zero previous experience with buying a real instrument.cons:-keys are NOT pressure sensitive (aka sound is the same regardless how hard/easy you press the keys)-keys are NOT weighted, not even semi-weighted- a lot of the sounds advertised as different are VERY-VERY similar; some even don’t sound as i think they are supposed to – for example a quitar sound, sounds anything but (at least as far as I can tell = we’ve only had it for a few days, and it might be an user error, but it’s strange to say the least – pushing the guitar button and it still sounds like a piano)-i can’t figure out how to revert to the “default” piano sound, when you’re done with a certain effect/tone etc. meaning, there isn’t a way to stop an added effect and keep playing; had to completely turn off and then back on (again, might be there, but it’s not intuitive)-and now the biggest pain point for me: the stand. IT’s A JOKE. I fear that if I turn the AC to full power it will come down. I’m not kidding!! It’s wabbly like a toddler learning to walk. it shakes like a jell-o! I ordered pink. Very well packaged and received with no damages. I bought for a 6 year old so figuring out all the instrumental buttons was confusing even for 2 adults. We didn’t take the time to read the manual but with some time and effort would be easily figured out The stand and seat are excellent quality and secures well. This is a good purchase.

This Electric Piano is definitely worthy of compliments. Such a great variety of options!None of the competition compares or excelsat this price. I just wish the RCA phono Output on the back functioned. I have to use the headphone out port instead unless I can figure out a solution. The headphone out port seems to have a little distortion plugged into my stereo. But, the piano has actual Full-Sized keys!!. Most on Amazon have tiny keys for a child. I am very pleased. It can also run on batteries, unlike most in this price range which makes it portable. I saved $45 by not getting the flimsy stand, cover and stool !????????????????

Not gonna waste your time, I purchased this back in August and I’m learning piano from scratch. So here’s a pro/con list based on my experience.Pros:It works.It’s inexpensive.Its compatible with Logic as a MIDI controller.The keys are semi-weighted and they’re responsive.The speakers are actually pretty loud, not loud enough to play for a medium to large audience but good enough for practice.Lots of ports to hook up to an amp, computer, audio interface, etc.Cons:The display isnt great.The space between the sharps (black keys) is very minimal so if you’re like me and have big hands and are a beginner you’re going to foul a lot when you have to play in those spaces.The tones leave a lot to be desired – the three piano tones sound discordant and cheap.Final verdict: As an absolute beginner I’m satisfied with my purchase. If you’re looking for something affordable, functional and can be used for MIDI either for yourself as an adult beginner or something for your kid to start on I would say this is a viable option (there’s a few other ones I would recommend – especially ones with 88 keys).I make beats so the MIDI function is mostly what I use this for while I’m learning to play.While I don’t like the built-in tones I use my piano VST in Logic to play while I practice so it’s not that big of a deal. Honestly my number one complaint is the spacing of the sharps, but that could be a unique issue because I’m 6’5 and have rather large hands, if you don’t have that problem then this would work for you.I would recommend looking up reviews outside of Amazon before you purchase it but for my needs it works out fine. I have been practicing with this and love it! The size of the keys are similar to a real piano. Even though it is only a 61, it’s a great starter set for the price! It also came with head phones, classy stickers for the keys, a stand for the keyboard, a music sheet holder, and a bench! It is super light so I can easily move it around my home. I love that it connects to a wall outlet or can run off batteries. VERY HAPPY with this purchase!Assemble:The instructions came with 1 picture. From that I was able to figure out how everything went together.

I played piano a little as a kid and have been wanting to get back into it. A year ago when I purchased this, I wasn’t sure how serious I’d be about practicing. This keyboard has been perfect for my needs. It is low-cost, portable, and consistent/reliable.However, there are a few cons–all of which are warranted given the awesome price:- Not a great quality of sound. You could play the prettiest song in the world perfectly (which I do not claim to be able to do!) and it still won’t sound fantastic because of the sound quality here. I tried a song on a Steinway after 6 months of only using the RockJam keyboard and was amazed how much nicer my playing sounded all of a sudden!- The keys are not standard sized. The compact 61-key model has narrower keys. This is awesome if you live in a small house or have small hands. But if I try a piano at a friend’s house, the keys will be wider. So you can’t memorize a song on this keyboard with muscle memory alone and then play it perfectly on a different piano.- There is no sustainer pedal hookup, so you have no option to upgrade this piano with a pedal.TO SUM UP: It has served me wonderfully for a year, and though its quality has not changed during that time, after a year of playing 4-5 days a week, I’ve decided it’s time to upgrade for better sound quality. It was a great purchase for starting out.

Beautiful sound quality! Mine are perfectly in tune. Sounds so cute and pleasant even when just fooling around with it. Makes a really pretty and unique coffee table peice that guests can pick up and play. We have the one with more ‘keys’ (in blue) and the smaller wooden brown one. My kids, 8 and 10 love them. (Just make sure your kids don’t bend the metal keys up or it messes up the instrument.) They are beautiful to look at, fun to play and sound great! My inner hippie wants to take one wherever I go. They come with a little bag 🙂

Love this thing. It’s so cool. However it was a liiittle out of tune, and how in the world do you tune it?Overall it has a pleasant sound.It’s more of an adult hand size. The kids love to play it, but it’s a little hard for their little thumbs to reach across properly. Maybe ages 10-15 and older?It has a pleasant feel and sound to it, and it is a really nice quality.

This is one of my best purchases ever. I love this beautiful blue Kalimba. It’s the perfect size to take to our lake and entertain the waterfowl. The tonal quality is wonderful: so peaceful. It wasn’t difficult to memorize the position of the notes. Check out YouTube for many instructional videos. That’s where I found instructions for F-4’s Meteor Garden. I even found a booklet for playing the Blues on the Kalimba. How cool is that? This is an excellent musical tool for all ages: from ages 5 to 105. It’s a calming instrument and gives me a happy purge.

I had never seen this little instrument before and kind of stumbled upon it on Amazon.I love music and instruments and this looked so intriguing to me that I ordered two of them. I am so impressed with the beautiful quality and sound of this instrument I had bought two for gifts, and I love it so much I’m keeping one for myself. So then I turned around and ordered two more for gifts.

Bought this for our grandson who has taught himself other instruments. He loves it.

Love the colors, looks easy to use

This instrument is indeed entertaining and will serve its purpose. The shipping was earlier than I anticipated for which I applaud. The condition and durability however, is quite vulnerable in terms of cosmetics. Upon opening, I discovered that the metal board was already slightly pre-scratched which doesn’t bother me as much but the board will accumulate more scratches regardless of how delicately the stylus is used. The Stlophone logo covered by the film will lose its chrome finish upon moist abrasion such as sweat leaving black marks where the letters are. The switch for the three different sounds requires more force to move than the power or vibrato switches. Be careful not to bring electronics such as phones near the Stylophone when it is in operation for it will generate static. The tuning peg at the back is easy to access and offers smooth turning. The MP3 and headphone jacks allow more ease of access and private use as well. Sound is not an issue because the device has an integrated speaker which can reach very loud sounds. The device is also constructed of a durable plastic disregarding the flexible speaker cover but is also prone to scratches. Voice modulation one is also flatter than the other modulations. Some overall modifications I would like to see is the vibrato switch replaced with a button of some sort and the voice option switch to be easier to move. Overall, the purpose of the instrument is well served and at an appealing cost as well. I look forward to doing more business in the future.

Got this little Stylophone synth and it’s been a fun musical toy to mess around with. The retro electronic sound is pretty cool, and it’s definitely a conversation starter when friends come over. You can easily carry it around since it’s truly pocket-sized, which is nice.The instrument has a unique charm to it – there’s something satisfying about sliding the stylus across the metal keyboard to make those distinctive electronic tones. While it’s entertaining and definitely brings something different to the table, I do think the price point is a bit steep for what you’re getting.Worth picking up if you’re into unique electronic instruments or retro gear, but just be aware you’re paying partly for the novelty factor. Still having fun with it though, and it’s a nice addition to my collection of musical gadgets

This thing came a day after it shipped. A day. And it arrived on Sunday. I was so blown away.I saw this thing and decided to check it out, as it seems like a cool lil instrument to fool around with, and, as I expected, its just that and more. For the size, it actually produces some really good volume and sound.Now, don’t be expectin’ to be picking this up and be a pro at it right away if you haven’t messed with stuff like this before. This is actually a tiny complex tool. You’ve got three different sound switches to choose from, all ranging in the same octaves, and a vibrato switch that adds some nice waves to the sound. You play notes with the attached metallic stylus, which connects with the similarly metallic keyboard (As is the case, no you cannot use your fingers on this lil bud,) and you’ll quickly find that you gotta be firm with the stylus. You can’t just be wishy-washy on notes and just hold the stylus lightly, cause the keys aren’t going to be able to read a firm enough connection.Likewise, its going to be very difficult switching notes and especially sliding at first without getting a little disconnecting crackle from leaving the previous note, but soon enough you’ll figure out how to easily slide through notes, seamlessly like a proNow the last neat part of this pal is the tuner on the back. At first, it seems to be in an odd spot, and, again, if you haven’t played around with these kinds of things, you’re going to be confused, but this dial is more meant for giving a little pitch bend to your note, also allowing for you to go a few notes higher or lower than the established range. If you are planning to jam with some pals and not just play around on your own, dootin’ some notes, this dial is gonna be essential to droppin’ some styleNow, in my experience so far, I’ve found the best way to play is by holding the device length wise in your hand (so sideways along your hand,) that way you can easily move your thumb and index finger for not only the pitch dial, but the volume wheel and the vibrato switch, and then, to train at this, I pull up basically any artist who does synth stuff, and I start just hitting some background pitches and doin’ whatever I want to match with the stuff.It takes training, and its definitely more of a background instrument than one that can take a solo like a champ (at least, thats what my experiences have yielded so far, maybe I’ll fine a way)All in all, absolutely love this thing, gonna be messin with it for a good while

Great keyboard. Easy to assemble, good sound and quality. Comes with a microphone and headphones, which means my son can play it late at night and not wake the rest of the house up. My son has been playing it for a couple of years now and there have been zero issues with it. He loves it. It was a great buy.

We needed a keyboard for my church, as we’re meeting in a hotel until we find a new permanent location. This one is nice and lightweight (so easy to carry around), the sound is decent, and it includes a bunch of features we won’t use; but the “church organ” preset is meeting our need well.

It is affordable and not costly. It came with headphones, sticker pack for labeling the piano keys, a microphone, stands, power cord, and a seat with the keyboard. It is just the right size and fun to play since I’m just starting out learning this. It has a lot of key functions .

My toddler plays with it daily and is really good at the follow along function after only a month .My husband and I also like to tinker on it for fun .Perfect 1st piano!Ok now the bad1. Keys are not nice and even , little sloppy but it’s a toy .2. The introduction manual needs to tell you how to work the song and tone selection . Its … Kinda hard to figure out… We kinda get it but we’re still just chimping at it . ( Struggling to understand)3. Strong plastic smell when it’s 1st opened . Gone after about a week . ( I was worried for a minute )4. This stickers for the keys are starting to peel after a month … We love the key labels wish they were more durable.

I got this as a starter keyboard for my 8 year old granddaughter for her birthday/Christmas present. I’m a lifelong musician and it thrills me that she is very insistent on wanting to learn to play an instrument as she’s always loved music and loves to sing. Since I own several keyboards myself I wanted to get her a real electronic keyboard, but I realized it wasn’t going to be like any of mine that are much more expensive and highly capable. But I wanted this one to be completely functional and easy for her to learn on her own and gain the experience of being able to easily begin to play and have fun with it, and this certainly fills that role.The keyboard itself is far more oriented toward a young, learning player than for an adult. The range of voicings for different instruments such as strings, horns, etc. are very basic general MIDI sounds and not professional sounding, but are more than adequate for a young, untrained ear. The lighted keyboard is a big plus for learning from the built in lessons and is more like a game so it should be fun for her to learn how to play basic melodies. I haven’t had the time yet to see what it provides in terms of the basic chord structures, but I can fill in those gaps for her as I’m around her quite a bit.For a young beginner I think this is a great value and should be a lot of fun to simply play with, and once past the “fun” stage is more than capable of learning how to really play a piano. This piano was bought by me for my daughter. I want to teach her to play the piano. She likes it very much. I think it is a good piano for beginners. It is not very big and won’t take up much space. You can move it around freely. It can adjust the volume. When I am working, my daughter can play the piano by herself.

Stand doesn’t work properly. The knob doesn’t engage.

Got this on a Prime Day deal because I wanted to play around with a keyboard – for that purpose, this was fine and all I needed and the price was right. I wouldn’t assume this is for a serious musician, but it was a low risk way to start. It’s a fun toy and was worth it for what I paid.

I brought this for my daughter as she is a beginner and wanted this for Xmas but she is such a good girl I got it early for her. She uses it every day and she loves it.

I’m quite impressed that this only cost me $24 and with a coupon I got it for $19.It’s way bigger than I was expecting. About twice as big as I thought it would be. I purchased this primarily for the color and because I wanted to add a very cheesy keyboard to my arsenal for those songs that need it. Not the least bit disappointed in the sound. It’s VERY cheesy. It has some interesting features like sustain and vibrato. I can see using these on occasion. It’s also going to make a great travel keyboard for sitting under a tree at the park and sketching out ideas. The action of the keys is about as plasticky as you’d expect. Not as bad as some toy keyboards you might get from a dollar store but not as good as say a Casio toy keyboard. There is no noticeable delay from the keystrike to hearing the sound which was something I was concerned about. Lots of cheap keyboards can’t seem to even do that much. Most of all I’m in love with the yellow color. It’s hard to find keyboards that I could actually see myself using that come in a bright lemony yellow color. As for the battery compartment that I read in some comments won’t close when batteries are installed, I had no issue there at all. I don’t know if it’s a problem that has been rectified by RockJam or if those buyers had gotten defective keyboards or if the batteries that you use makes a difference. I’m using rechargeable Enerloops. They fit just fine. Like all low end nearly toy keyboards this one benefits greatly from adding effects to it. Highly recommend you pass it through an effects pedal or something similar to get the most out of this gem. Reverb is essential.

I really liked the mint green 49 key keyboard. I did compare it to a real full size keyboard as well as other smaller portable keyboards on the market. The key sizes were the closest to the full size of all of them, which made it a total pleasure to play. Sound was great for my purpose as a portable practice keyboard. I’m still waiting for my carry bag so I just took the keyboard to my office and left it there to use for a quick 10-15 minute practice during my lunch break, using headphones. Then yesterday I carefully packed it up in it’s original packaging and brought it home (my office building closed for construction work).When I received it, everything worked. But yesterday I pulled it out and tried to use it without the headphones. There was no sound from the speakers at all! I tried both on USB power (using the original cord as per the instructions) and on fresh batteries. I tried turning it on and off, and playing with the volume dial. Great on headphones. Totally silent without the headphones.Wouldn’t you know it, yesterday I was exactly one day out of my Amazon return window. I have no idea when the speakers stopped working because I was using it in the office on headphones after testing it at home. The speakers DID work then.I tried contacting RockJam, and they said that I had to go through Amazon for any return, exchange, or anything else. Amazon won’t do anything because the return/exchange window is now closed. I’ve looked at the original boxes and all of the product inserts. There is absolutely no indication of any sort of product warrantee so if it stops working you are SOL.So now another decision. Do I buy an external speaker and use that when I want to play out loud (totally inconvenient for a portable product)? Or do I contact my credit card and reverse the charge (I’m still in my window to do that fortunately). Because it’s obvious that RockJam doesn’t want to stand by their products for any length of time.

If you’re looking for a truly standard size key, this is not the product for you. An octave reach that my hands “know” gets me about one extra key, e.g., C to D instead of C to C. For my purposes (checking to see if my sight reading had gotten the intervals for vocal music right}, this keyboard is fine. It even offers lots of options that I don’t need. But if you’re a trained pianist, and want to play real music using both hands, it will be frustrating. The product was packaged well and arrived in great shape. It’s nice to have the option of power via USB or battery.

I am upgrading this review from two stars to five stars. I assumed I was like the other unhappy buyers who did not receive an AC adapter, but then when I was using the packing materials to hold the keyboard that I’m upgrading from, I discovered that in one of the Styrofoam and pieces, there is a compartment with an AC adapter in it! I had already searched the box, and I had given the Styrofoam a once over, and only found it by accident. It’s not heavy enough to make the Styrofoam piece feel like there might be something hiding in it. So if you think you’ve been shorted, take a good look at everything!This is a very nice little keyboard for me to pick up piano skills again. However, like many other reviews I’ve seen, mine came sealed, original retail packaging, with the 12 V AC adapter missing. I already have one, so I’m not going to go to the trouble of returning, but it is kind of ridiculous, as it’s surely a known issue by now.

I did enjoys this as my first keyboard while learning piano. It’s a good size and portable for a 76 key piano. It’s has many voices and the key action is really not bad in my novice opinion. The sound is great and all in all a really nice keyboard. My piano teacher remarked “ this is a really nice keyboard”. I had a lot of fun with this keyboard and it was light enough to transport to class every week as well as play on battery power on my porch or deck or anywhere really.I eventually traded it in at guitar center for a Roland fp30x because I was/am much more now into an 88 key “piano” with weighted keys and all that. But in all honesty this keyboard would serve me well for far longer into my piano journey. So yes, I do think this is a great keyboard and you will have great fun making music with it. It is so much fun to play around wall the different sounds also, my Roland is more like just piano and much more limited in how many voices (instruments) it can mimic.By the way I traded it in at guitar center for about half of what I paid for it on Amazon, which was pretty reasonable to begin with. Considering the fun and experience I had with it. It was we worth it and I really could be still playing and learning with it if I didn’t upgrade.

I bought this keyboard for my 7 year old grandson’s birthday and he & his siblings love it. Although he’s just beginning piano lessons, he’s able to use this one at home to practice. They love to tinker with it’s on-board rhythmic tunes for improptue jam & dance sessions. I also bought a matching ‘X’ keyboard stand & bench set to keep it off the floor. It’s a good introductory instrument that won’t frustrate a child (or adult) because it sounds great, and has proper key function and feel.

Got this for my teen who is teaching herself to play. She loves it. It plays really well and has a great sound. She has fun with all the different sounds it can make too!

As an adult teaching myself for fun, I found this keyboard to have everything I needed. Great product. You will want to purchase the pedal attachment.
