    the BEST electrolytes I’ve ever tried. I don’t mind the saltiness, I actually enjoy it, but the stevia in these really balances out the flavor. Orange tastes so similar to orange gatorade, same with the lime! Raspberry tastes like an Otter Pop!! The only one I don’t love is watermelon, I feel that the salt flavor outweighs the fruit flavor.     I ordered these electrolytes because they scanned as clean on the Yuka app. I really like that LMNT uses clean ingredients that don’t contain endocrine-disrupting chemicals. I like that they don’t contain artificial dyes and colors. The packets are the right size and great for rehydrating after a workout or a busy day when I don’t get to drink as much water as I would like. I instantly feel better and don’t get a dehydration-related headache after drinking them. They also don’t have a fake, powdery taste like other flavored electrolytes. I don’t love how salty they taste as compared to others I’ve tried. However, the quick fix is to use 1/2 packet at a time.     It’s what it says it is. I like that they don’t try to cover that it’s going to taste salty. They don’t add fake sugar to it, as far as I can tell. It’s one of the best electrolyte packets I’ve found – high in sodium, and low in sugar. I enjoy the flavors. My favorite is Raspberry Salt, so I’ve gone out and purchased those specifically, but this mixed pack is nice so you get to try the variety of flavors and none of them are bad. I like them all. My second favorite is Watermelon Salt, then I think it’s Lime Salt, then Orange Salt. (I might be slightly off on the last two’s names.) But again, none of them are “nasty”. They are some of the few I can get into my system fairly easily and I don’t dread them like others.I need the added sodium and electrolytes, per my docs, and this is one of the things I can do to, plus increase my water with it. My blood pressure is low naturally, and so I guess we need to increase my blood volume so I don’t faint, and this is one of the ways we’re working on doing so.I’ve tried several powders to add to my water to try increase my sodium, but this is the most pleasant by far. I’ve tried Liquid IV, which I really didn’t like because it has artificial sweetener which isn’t my fave and it just didn’t taste “right”. I added Crystal Light to those on order to drink them. They dissolve well, esp with the room-temp water, and after a bit, they become clear as water, so I try to mark the bottles with a sharpie, as my partner sometimes picks up my bottles of water and drinks them, so to avoid a surprise, I mark them, as they really do become crystal clear after sitting for a short while.I have only mixed then in 500mL (16.9oz) of water, so you can mix them with more (or less?) to adjust the saltiness. The packet says to mix with 16, 24, or 32 oz of water to adjust saltiness, but I’ve really never had an issue with the 16oz being too salty, tbh. The flavor is good and I need to get the salt in. If I need more, I’ll do another packet with another bottle of water.I just do what’s easiest and the flavor is good at that mix (16.9oz/500mL.)

    I really struggle with hydration and the meds I’m on make me very sensitive to heat. So I wanted something to really help me get through a week at Disney and Universal. This stuff works amazing!     I had been having some trouble staying hydrated, and I had been drinking a lot of a well-known sports drink (let’s call it CrocodileAide!). There’s so much sugar in that stuff though, and as many times as I have tried, I’ve never been able to stand the aftertaste of artificial sweeteners (even Stevia, which I guess is technically not artificial?). The Liquid IV Lemon/Lime sugar free drink powder is WONDERFUL! The sweetener does taste slightly different than sugar, but it’s surprisingly tasty and there’s no lingering aftertaste. I made it my regular drink of choice during the day for a number of months – but then realized that hydration drinks are not really made to fully replace water, and too much electrolytes in your system can be just as bad as too little. The other unfortunate thing is that the product has gotten popular and is now rather expensive to buy regularly. I’ll pick up a package of it for during the Summertime for a refreshing treat on hot days, though – it’s great!

As I mentioned, each flavor has a different characteristic from the others. Some are bland, some taste sweet, some taste overly fake. We loved some, and we hated some. Below is a list based on what we like so far and why. Bear in mind that I hate diet drinks for their bad aftertaste. The drinks don’t have to be sweet for me to like them, but I can’t stand the garbage aftertaste of fake sweeteners.The best flavors:Rocky Road – By far the single best tasting flavor. The downside is that it does taste a little sweet. The nutritional value is right on with the other flavors, but it is a bit sweet. I could drink this all day. If you only buy one flavor, this is it. There is no real aftertaste, and the flavor is great.Extreme Milk Chocolate – Another good flavor with almost no aftertaste. This one tastes like chocolate, and doesn’t have a fake taste to it. If you are looking at the chocolate flavors, this one is perfect.Natural Vanilla – This is a slightly different product, and it comes in a tub with yellow labeling instead of the red. It’s on Amazon for the same price, and it has the same nutritional values. They claim it has less artificial sweeteners in it, hence the natural label. In any case, this is the best vanilla out there. There is no aftertaste, and it tastes like vanilla milk. It is not as sweet as the others, but it the single best vanilla flavor I’ve found.The middle of the road flavors:Cookies and Cream – This one is both good and bad. If you like the creamy vanilla taste, you will like the flavor. It doesn’t have a bad aftertaste, but it is sort bland. It is sweet, but bland. Also, the cookie chunks in it don’t dissolve. This is the only flavor so far that has bits of stuff that you are swallowing when you drink it. It’s odd. That said, I have reordered it in the past.Chocolate Malt – It’s just OK. The flavor is a little odd because of the malt. Given the choice, just order the Extreme Milk Chocolate.Caramel Toffee Fudge – Again, just OK. They tried too hit to many flavors with this one, and it just turned out odd. Not a bad flavor, but don’t start out here. I got bored so I tried it. I doubt I’ll order it again.And the bad:Double Rich Chocolate – This flavor sucks. It tastes like fake chocolate. Not good fake chocolate, but generic fake chocolate. It has that bad aftertaste of fake sweetener, and is all around not good.Vanilla Ice Cream – Another swing and a miss. This flavor tastes like bad fake powdered milk. It has that bad aftertaste, and is probably the single worst flavor they have. If you are looking for vanilla, avoid this at all costs and get the Natural Vanilla.Tropical Punch – Another fake tasting flavor. When I got this, I could barely get through the first few shakes. Eventually it grew on me a little bit, and I was able to drink it without hating it. It tastes like strawberry milk with a bunch of fake sweetener. It’s just wrong, and is not something you want to drink after a workout.I know that taste varies from person to person, so take this with a grain of salt. I hate the taste of fake sweetener, so this list draws from that. I’ve taken to buying the 2lb tubs to try out a flavor, and then going with the 5lb tubs if I like it. It costs a bit more that way, but it means there is only 2lbs to choke down if you get a flavor that you hate.Enjoy!

I care a lot that my protein shakes don’t taste heavily of artificial sugar in the aftertaste because that tastes horrible to me and the Extreme Milk Chocolate flavor that I picked up has been really good tasting.     This is a great product! This mix tastes good and is easy to drink. Purchased the pink lemonade and I enjoy drinking it daily. The powder mixes easily and it has been effective in restoring electrolyte balance following the flu, and hiking in the hot weather. I can’t really say it’s an appetite suppressant other than drinking an extra glass of liquid is somewhat filling. I really enjoy the taste of this and it does the job it is advertised to do. Looking forward to trying additional flavors. Recommend these electrolyte mixes and find them to be a nice value.

    This review a more a general review of this brand and not exactly this flavor assortment. So far I am very happy most of the flavors and constancy of this product. Have to admit that I went ahead and purchased every single flavor they had to experiment and find the right tasting selections. I would say about 50% of the flavors offered from this brand are great and meet expectations and the other 50% were really just awful and artificial tasting. You really have to experiment to find the right flavors that suit you. Overall I do think that while a tiny bit pricey they do achieve expectations. One note, personally I do not like any of their lemon flavored selections. I have found that the lemon extract in almost all products/brands such as these are very artificial tasting with this one bing almost the worst. This is not to discourage you from buying but if you are looking for a real natural lemon flavored electrolyte this is definitely not the right choice.

    One of my favorite electrolyte drink mixes out there! It’s not overly sweet like a lot of others — just perfectly balanced and super refreshing. I love that it actually tastes clean and hydrating instead of syrupy or artificial. The Mocktini variety pack is such a fun idea and makes it easy to switch things up throughout the week. It adds a little “treat yourself” vibe to staying hydrated.The flavors are creative and all surprisingly good, but the strawberry margarita is hands down my favorite — light, crisp, and not too tart. It mixes easily, dissolves well, and doesn’t leave any weird aftertaste.If you’re looking for something that keeps you hydrated, tastes great, and makes drinking water less boring, this is definitely worth trying.

    I love this multi pack because it has four of each flavor so you can really tell which ones you like and don’t like by being able to try them all without committing to a huge pack of each. As someone who has to be mindful about how much salt I consume I can’t have regular electrolyte drinks so I gave these a try and I really do like the flavors they’re not over sweet, but they don’t taste like just watered down Gatorade products. The packets are easy to open and the powder mixes nicely into water. You can just dump it right into a bottle of water and you don’t end up with clumps like it really does shake nicely. I’m breast-feeding so hydration is key and I do think he helped me stay hydrated throughout the day and it gives me something to flavor my water with while giving me some electrolytes.

    Highly recommend.Essentially Tasteless. Can have in water or mix in anything. I do feel a difference in my energy level and focus. Zero issues with digestion. I am a guy over 50. I am pretty active and go to the gym 4-5’s a week + active on the weekend. I am far from hard core though I am active and doing my best to stay that way.There is a ton of science backing creatine is a super supplement with results for both men and women over 40 not only for muscles , though for bones and cognitive improvement and safe for decades of long term use.     The Thorne creatine is nearly tasteless when 5g is dissolved in 1 cup of water. In comparison, I’ve tried the Nutricost creatine and that product had a noticeable metallic taste that was not pleasant. The Thorne product is a much finer powder than the Nutricost and dissolves better. Overall, the Thorne is much more expensive but appears to be a higher-quality product that also comes with NSF certification. Also, the scoop accurately measures out 5g of powder, as tested on my kitchen scale.

    I try to keep a regular stock of meal-replacement shakes to have for lunch on those days when I’m too busy or low-appetite to sit down and eat a solid meal.Before I decided to buy this (Ensure Max Protein shakes), I actually sat down and thoroughly cross-compared it with all the other meal-replacement shakes/powders I’ve tried in the past, including:1. Original Ensure shakes2. Soylent3. Huel4. GNC Total Lean shakes(Note: as a certified choco-holic, I’ve only tried the chocolate flavor for all of these products, of course.)I evaluated each of these meal-replacement shakes based on:1. Their overall nutritional value (for me, this meant: how much protein, fiber, and vitamins I could get in proportion to the calories in 1 serving),2. The average price per serving.To my surprise, the Ensure Max Protein shakes were actually the all-around winner! They’re slightly cheaper than the other options (including their Original Ensure shake sisters, somehow?), and yet they’re also higher in protein, fiber, *and* lower in calories. It’s crazy how far modern food technology has come! ????Flavor-wise, they taste fairly close to the Original Ensure shakes (for reference: I go crazy for the taste of original Ensure. Idk why, but the flavor is kind of nostalgic, and I kind of love the slightly metallic/iron-ish aftertaste lol), but these Max Protein shakes are a bit grainier. This is to be expected though, since they’re higher in protein.TL;DR: I already did the product research/comparison for you. This is the best option—in terms of price, nutrition, and caloric content!

    Ive ordered 3 of these Ensure Chocolate shakes/drinks. Since ive been on a diet the last 8 months im trying to get a much protein as i can. my doc recommended these as a supplement. i’ll drink a shake before plying a round of golf and it seems to give me energy for that.one thing i found is that i get the container as cold as possible even putting it in the freezer for 10min before drinking. To me at least they taste better that way. One thing i don’t understand is the price fluctuation i’ve paid between $24 and 30 for the same 12 bottles

    My doctor recommended I drink these before surgery. I started then, but keep them on hand for a quick easy breakfast or lunch when I know I won’t get a lot of protein that day. The taste isn’t bad alone, but I usually put them in my ninja with some fruit—a banana and cocoa, some blueberries, or whatever fresh or frozen fruit I have on hand. It would be 5 stars if the taste was just a little better. I updated this fron 4 to 5 starts because I’ve discovered new ways to drink Ensure. I’ve been getting vanilla now. I mix it half and half with coffee and add cinnamon and nutmeg. It’s good either cold over ice or hot. It tastes just like a Starbucks skinny vanilla latte, only with a lot of protein and a lot less cost. Try it!

  • Perfect for muscle retention on my lactose intolerant, GLP 1 weight loss journey!
    So good that I’m writing my first review!!! Since starting GLP 1 therapy, even thinking about food makes me nauseous. Coffee is impossible, but I NEED my morning caffeine!! 2 scoops in 10oz of water is easy for me to drink, and doesn’t bother my lactose intolerant tummy. I get 50g of protein & a respectable caffeine boost for under 250 calories and don’t have to think about food for hours. No more weakness, fatigue, or headaches. I’ve been closely monitoring my body composition and lost zero muscle mass since adding this, but am increasing water & protein levels while averaging 1lb a day fat loss. It mixes in seconds with my $5 frother wand. Quick rinse & topped with a few ice cubes and I’m out the door with less than 1 minute of prep. If you find a better product, let me know, because this is the best thing to happen to my body in a long time!
  • Amazing taste and super easy to digest!
    I’ve tried many protein powders, but this one quickly became my favorite. The Fudge Brownie flavor is delicious — rich but not too sweet — and it mixes perfectly with water or almond milk.What I love the most is that it’s very light on the stomach, no bloating or discomfort at all. I use it after my workouts, and I’ve noticed faster recovery and better muscle definition.Because it’s a hydrolyzed whey isolate, it absorbs super quickly and doesn’t leave that heavy feeling.???????? Totally recommend it if you’re looking for a clean, high-quality protein with amazing taste and results.
  • I’ve had 9 flavors, here are my thoughts
    Dymatize ISO100 has hands down become my go-to protein powder. I have now tried 9 flavors, they are (in no particular order):- Chocolate Caramel- Chocolate Peanut Butter- Cinnamon Bun- Cocoa Pebbles- Cookie and Cream- Fudge Brownie- Gourmet Chocolate- Gourmet Vanilla- StrawberryThere are really four main factors that matter to me in a protein powder; How well does it mix, What’s actually in it, how much does it cost, and the most important factor of all, taste.1) How well does it mix:It mixes great, zero complaints on this front. It borderline mixes too well. I typically have my protein in one of two ways; a shaker bottle with a metal shaker, mixed with water or milk, or a protein shake/smoothie mixed in a ninja blender. In both situations, I have zero issues with the mix. Never comes out clumpy or lumpy. Some of the flavors mix so well they come out very foamy (more so than other powders) and I actually have to wait a bit so I’m not just drinking bubbles.2) What’s in it?:I am not a supplement expert, but Dymatize’s ISO100 has significantly less cholesterol than a lot of competitors, and that’s good enough for me. This factor matters the least to me, I don’t look too much into ingredient labels, but heart disease does run in my family, so avoiding unnecessary cholesterol, which is common in a lot of powders, is a big plus.3) Cost:I think the price is exceptional for the product. Sometimes there will be great deals here on Amazon for specific flavors. I will get to it in the next section, but even though I do not think Dymatize has the hands-down best flavors, for the cost I couldn’t be happier.4) Taste:THE BIG ONE!!! Gourmet Chocolate is without question my absolute favorite chocolate flavored protein powder. Totally subjective obviously, but I don’t think anything else even really comes close, and I’ve tried a pretty extensive selection of chocolates. For a reference point that a lot of people can relate to, I do not like Optimum Nutrition’s chocolate at all, I think it’s pretty disgusting.I am giving an overall rating of 4 stars because aside from gourmet chocolate and cookies and cream, I do not think any of the other flavors I’ve tried are out of this world. Look above for the list of all the chocolate variants I’ve had. I won’t bother buying any of them again, because the gourmet chocolate is just plain better than all of the others. The flavor difference is minimal enough that I don’t care for them to add variety, but big enough that I see no reason to waiver from the king.Chocoloate Peanut Butter is an outlier on the chocolates, It’s really good too, BUT when I want a chocolate peanut butter flavor, I think it tastes way better to just use gourmet chocolate, and then add a tablespoon or two of peanut butter powder, like PB Fit. It’s a small amount more calories for a lot more protein and a much less artificial flavor.Cookies and Cream is my second favorite. It’s also super delicious. Now that I’ve experimented with most of the flavors, I will probably just be buying cookies and cream and gourmet chocolate, so that I don’t get bored of one.Gourmet vanilla and cinnamon bun are fine. If you really like those flavors I have no complaints.Strawberry I could not get to taste good in a smoothie. Just wouldn’t sit right with me. Mixed with just almond milk it’s pretty yummy though. I got pretty tired of this flavor pretty fast and will likely not buy it again. I’m generally not crazy about fruit flavored protein powders though.So, I didn’t give 5 stars because not every flavor is my favorite. What is you might ask? I really love Ghost Protein. I think they have the best flavors if you want 3 or more choices. Their coffee flavor is my favorite protein of all time. BUT, Ghost is a lot more expensive. The ISO100 makes me a lot happier when I remember I’m spending quite a bit less per scoop (I usually buy the 3 lb tubs of ISO100, which is obviously cheaper per oz). It just comes down to price to performance, and right now ISO100 wins it for me. I still buy Ghost from time to time because I like it so much.Just for funsies here is my fairly generic protein smoothie I have almost every morning for my breakfast.1 scoop of either Gourmet Chocolate -or- Cookies and Cream ISO100.3/4 cup milk2 tablespoons peanut butter powder (I like PB Fit)1 whole frozen banana1/4-1/2 cup frozen black coffee ice cubes (you can of course just use regular ice cubes)About 35-40g of protein for a 350-400 calorie smoothie that tastes BANGIN.If you try it out, blend the milk, PB powder, and protein together first. Then add the coffee ice cubes and blend for 30 seconds to a minute. Then add the banana and blend to desired thickness, another 30 seconds – 1 minute. If you try to do it all at once, there are too many cold ingredients and the protein and PB powder won’t blend as well as it normally would otherwise.OBLIGATORY FINAL SENTENCE IN ALL CAPS ABOUT GETTING THEM GAINZZZ.
  • Very Impressed
    I was borderline nervous to order protein powder bc they’re very hit or miss for me (not to mention the cost) but this one was a HIT. My morning breakfast smoothie with just this powder, a cup of fruit, and a bit of water tastes good, which is more than I would dare ask of a protein powder. I haven’t experienced any stomach issues after 3 days of having at least one scoop a day. I will be continuing to purchase this powder. It’s good, for the macros, the convenience, and the money.
  • Best Protein Powder
    Out of all the protein powders I’ve tried so far, this is my favorite one. The quality is great and the texture is not grainy or too thick like other brands I’ve tried in the past, and the vanilla flavor is good without having large amounts of sugar. I also appreciate that it has a high amount of protein while still remaining low calorie. It’s also not super messy and doesn’t stick to the scooper it comes with and get all over your hands while scooping. I definitely would like to try more flavors in the future, as I enjoy chocolate shakes but was originally wary because of my previous experience with protein powders.
