This is an excellent printer, and I’m very happy with my purchase! I’ve had absolutely no connectivity issues. The print quality—both color and black-and-white—is outstanding. Document printing looks crisp and professional, and photo printing is equally impressive with rich, vibrant colors. The speed is great too; it’s quite fast for home use.I can easily print and scan from my iPad, Mac, or iPhone with complete control. It handles everything—printing, scanning, color, and black-and-white—with no problems at all. I’ve used it frequently for small projects, documents, pictures etc., and the ink efficiency has been great. It doesn’t use much ink, which is a big plus.I also appreciate that I can print in black even if the color ink is low, and vice versa. Overall, this printer has exceeded my expectations!

The printer works great! It does sometimes turn off after it’s not in use, so you would have to disconnect and reconnect the charger. The main issue I had at first was that the printer wouldn’t connect to my WiFi. This printer only works with 2.4 WP2. The good news though, you can connect to the printer by setting it up as your WiFi. It’ll just mean when you print something, you’ll have to use cellular service which isn’t as annoying as it sounds. The setup was easy (besides WiFi), the printer is pretty smart when it’s trouble shooting. There’s a whole infographic about how the different flashes on the printer means literally different things. It’s not super noising and it’s not too bulky where it doesn’t take over my entire desk. I’m pretty happy with my purchase, especially with the price. The customer service is really great too. They are very thorough with helping you troubleshoot.

I have had several of these printers and I have to say my experiences with them are highly varied.- It is a wonderful printer- It is a terrible printerFrom what I can tell these printers self-destruct after awhile. The self-destruct process is invoked by the printer dumping ink by its ink sensor THEN after a certain amount of ink flow, the ink sensor renders the printer inoperative.The idea is that Canon thinks that if you print a lot and flush ink past the sensor, after some amount of volume is flushed the printer is no good anymore. Now you can open the printer easily and suck the ink out of the overage trays. Not hard to do. But I _think_ the sensor is closer to the head itself so even if you clean the printer out the device is going to fail.These printers do require occasional cleaning and you have to be careful not to jar anything loose when cleaning ink slop out of the printer. It also seems to be the case that if you print your photos with white borders [ie no ink], the amount of ink shed into the trays will be lessened. If you print with black borders it appears the printer is much more likely to dump ink into the trays, shortening the printer’s usable lifespan! Interesting design.I do not know if a factory reset of the printer before it is disabled due to ink being tossed into the bins will fix the problem. Could be.On the flip side…This printer can be had for a very good price, especially at certain times of the year.The quality of output (in both color photos and black+white) is stellar, for an inkjet printer. Really amazing!For this reason I have gone from satsified, to incensed, to almost satisfied again after owning two of these printers.If you can get this printer for a good price or are going to only use it for occasional printing I think it’s a very nice deal.I will add that I only had luck with USB printing. I do not try and use this printer wirelessly. If you are going to use it wirelessly you may want to read the comments on doing so. I set up my first printer to do wireless printing and was not happy. Neither was my computer w/ the new drivers, etc.Eventually I did a factory reset+restored the printer to as-arrived firmware and it worked better for me.With a little work, Canon could make provide a workhorse printer that lasts for years. Further, if they turned off the ink overflow counter it would be possible to come up with a modified case that lets you drain the ink out of the trays now and then, eliminating any chance of spillage, which would indeed be messy!Okay, Canon has a great product here. They just need to do a little work to straighten it out. I think they can’t be happy what I assume is many returns. I really think hmm- with just a few changes this could be one of the best printers of its kind in a generation (since the Epson MX-80, say).As such, I’m changing my former one-star review to a four-star review. Yes, I’m on my third printer. It’s true. However if I can stretch them out to last at least a year… at these prices I’ll be happy.BTW I found out recently that I could return my first printer to Canon to receive a replacement printer. They sent me a Canon TS3700, which only prints, doesn’t scan. It is also sub-par in terms of performance, print quality and has a sensor-alignment problem, causing some images to be printed slightly diagonally!So altho’ i have that TS3700 and it works ok I’m purchasing a third MG3620.I’m doing this partly because it’s a great printer and also because I want to see how long I can make it last if I disassemble, baby+clean it regularly. Finally they are cheap enough right now that I feel I can take another shot at it.In closing, this is a printer I have spent a lot of time with on the repair bench. I have done a lot of research on its capabilities and features. I have taken the time to learn many of its Idiosyncrasies. I took one of these printers apart many times to clean+fix things that went wrong. Overall I have found it to be a good design. I hope Canon will make a few improvements to help these printers last longer when used heavily.OK this is probably not the review you were expecting but I think it may have some useful information in it that you can use to evaluate what printer you want to buy next!Regards.

I have owned a couple of other Canon PIXMA models. And I am quite pleased with the brand. My latest is currently in storage, out of state. Purchased this one, as a low cost replacement.This model required a download of Canon software, to integrate it into the home wifi network. The app for it, requires permissions for usage statistics that I don’t feel are any of Canon’s business, and I very much did not want to give it.The instructions are no longer printed out. Have to follow a QR code, to an online video. A video with advertising interruptions. Which SUCKS, -1 star. Because if I ever have to set this up again, I have to go through that video again. My other models had PRINTED instructions. -1 star.However, once set up, installing the app again, on my tablet this time, took no effort, other than those permissions. So it’s considerably easier, after that first time.It’s not a professional grade printer. It’s not a specialized printer. It does what it does, no more, no less, and does it quite well enough for the average user to be happy and pleased.Ink quality is good. This model has a very easy method for loading the ink cartridges. Including a lever that brings them out and forward, which my other 2 did not.Ink is not cheap. And Canon gives you a smaller cartridge in the printer, than they sell for replacements. So it runs out sooner than the replacements.At time of writing, I am seeing the inks at about 42 dollars for sets of color and black and white. And pretty much exactly half that for REFURBISHED single packs.Pretty much cheaper just to buy another printer.On Android, this was a learning experience to use. The Canon App has functionality to print straight from file. But. OneNote and other note apps don’t save this as PDF format, or don’t save them as such right away.Instead, have to go into my note app, share the file to Canon Print, and then it starts up the task.Also- DO NOT share a document that is in dark mode, if you don’t want to waste a lot of that expensive black ink!! It will print it EXACTLY as it looks on your screen. Dark mode and all!!This model runs a diagnostic when it starts up, including the paper tray. That’s a nice feature, but also a pain. I leave it unplugged when not using it. So when I plug it in, I’m ready to use it. Not turn it on, and wait.The app does not provide a measure to password the printer. Living in an apartment complex, with a lot of neighbors, I wish this was included.Yes, I’m only writing about the negatives. Simply because all the positives are pretty much exactly what you want to get, when buying a printer, scanner, and copier. It does them well, quietly, and in a timely manner.

I’m gonna be honest: I’m lazy. Professionally lazy. So the fact that I’m writing an Amazon review at all means this printer is basically a miracle machine.Print quality? Outrageously good. Text looks laser-carved, colors look like Pixar animated my documents.Versatility? It prints everything I throw at it — documents, photos, random-sized papers, even stuff I didn’t think was “printable.” It’s basically the Swiss-Army knife of printers.Ink refills? Ridiculously easy. No messy cartridges. No ink-covered crime scenes. Just flip, fill, done.Reliability? This thing works every time. No drama. No moody “please wait” attitude like every printer I’ve ever owned.Value? INSANE. The ink lasts so long I’m convinced the printer whispers to the pages instead of actually using ink. I’ve printed a small novel at this point and the levels barely moved.If you want a printer that’s high quality, low effort, and doesn’t try to ruin your life, get the Epson ET-2800. It’s so good it guilt-tripped me into getting off my butt to write this review — and that alone deserves five stars.

My old printer broke (sooner than I would have liked) so I did A LOT of research before deciding to buy this Epson EcoTank printer for home office use. This is my honest review of it this far and I will definitely update my review if I run into any issues.So far, this printer has been pretty impressive (I’ve been using it for about a month). The price was pretty average for a printer… but I personally think all printers are overpriced so it was a bit more than I would have liked to spend. It is smaller and more lightweight than I was expecting which is a plus because it takes up less desk space than my previous HP printer.It is very easy to set up, comes with step-by-step easy instructions and guided instructions through the app. It only took me about 10 minutes (Mostly just waiting for the printer to initialize on its own). It is very easy and surprisingly satisfying to fill the ink tank. I like the idea that this ink might last longer than traditional cartridges and won’t have as much plastic waste that went along with my old HP Inkjet.I have printed plain black and white documents as well as photos. I print all my photos at home, which is most of the printing that I do, so quality was important to me. The photos came out with pretty good quality! No ink smudges or off colors, colors are bright/vivid, and it is easy to modify what paper you’re using with automatic prompts on the printer.Now for the negatives and the reason I’m giving this 4 stars… app to printer connection issues. This was a big issue with my old printer as well. I’m pretty tech savvy and I just have no idea why this is still always an issue for me. There is an extra Epson app that you are supposed to download for printing. Sometimes it can find my printer, sometimes it can’t. Sometimes it gives me printer errors or won’t let me print documents. And now every time I go to print something it says the paper being used doesn’t match the paper settings so I have to bypass that error message (even though it does match in settings and the app, and this happens for both regular paper and photo paper). I’ve turned everything off and back on again, but the issues with consistent connection and error messages are still an issue.Usually with some fiddling around, I can get the documents/pictures to print but sometimes it feels like I’m jumping through unnecessary hoops. I’m still working out the kinks so if I find some magic solution I’ll update my review. Considering this is an issue with most home printers I’ve used, it’s not a deal breaker.All in all, if you are looking for a new home printer, I would definitely recommend this one. The quality has been great for me and I am pleased with my purchase (so far).Hope this helps!*UPDATE*: I have now printed HUNDREDS of photos, they are all excellent quality, and my ink tanks are still mostly full. This is WAY better than my HP printer as far as ink longevity. Changing my review to 5 stars just based on how long this ink lasts. User interface is still a tad annoying but so worth it regardless.

So far I am loving this printer! I had an HP8600 for years which worked welll for a long time. I hated spending over $100 to refill the ink though. When the HP got too old I looked at all the reviews on ink tank printers and chose the ET2800. The price was right and it had all the features that I needed for home use. The printer came with enough ink to fill the black and color tanks with some left over. The set up was very easy as was the ink filling process. The printing is fast and clean. Scanning documents is also very easy. I have not yet printed any pictures so don’t know about that quality. It was important that we be able to print from our Iphones and that connectivity was easy. There is just nothing that I don’t like about this printer.

The value is enormous for someone who maybe prints 20 pages per year. Very easy to set up and connect to wi-fi too. The software is excellent. It just works. The print and coloring are excellent. They give you small starter ink cartridges. I’m sure you’ll need to buy more sooner rather than later. I’m quite happy with it.

This is a great printer for the price! It was a fairly easy set-up and the functionality is pretty straightforward. The printing speed is fast compared to other printers that I’ve used previously, and it seems pretty durable so far. I did read that it only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks, so keep that in mind before you purchase.

I replaced a more expensive HP printer with this no frills, inexpensive HP 2827e printer. I loved the features and print quality of the expensive one, but it only lasted 22 months. I decided I don’t do enough printing to splurge a second time.As far as setup, I decided not to use a WiFi connection. I have it hooked up to my PC with a USB cable (a 6-foot 2.0 USB-A to USB-B). A USB cable is not included in the package, so I had to buy one separately. I have heard too many people complain about problems with wireless and I wanted to keep things as simple as possible. I did install the HP Smart App. I was pleased that during setup with the USB cable, I was never asked if I wanted to sign up for the Instant Ink subscription program, and I wasn’t pressured into establishing an account.There are no helpful instructions that come with this printer. No user manual. I had to search “how to” videos on the Internet just to figure out how to get adhesive tape (put on for packaging) off the printer and remove everything that needed to be removed from the interior, like a piece of cardboard. I admit I’m not tech savvy or intuitive or good at deciphering picture diagrams, so most people might not have any trouble at all, but I did. Even opening the plastic output tray door was a challenge. The door was tightly shut and required a hefty tug to open. I was sure I was going to crack it in two. The plastic feels flimsy. I also had to search the Internet for setup instructions. Most of the online how-tos assumed setup would be with WiFi, not a cable, so I ended up calling HP customer support and asking them to walk me through it. I was able to quickly get through to a human, which was a plus even though there was a slight language barrier. So, for me, setup was not a breeze, but it was manageable.As far as print quality, I would say it’s acceptable but not the best. Most of my printing is done in black only, and the black is not as sharp and crisp as I would like. As far as features, this printer is very basic. I think it will accomplish everything a more expensive printer will, but some things will have to be done manually. This means some jobs may take a bit longer and require a little more creativity. I do not do a whole lot of printing, so I can deal with that. I found the ink cartridges easy to install. And I was told in the question-and-answer box that I will be able to print in single cartridge mode, which means I will only have to buy black ink. Other pluses are that the printer is compact, lightweight (7.55 lbs.), is white (doesn’t show dust like black does), and is attractive.Bottom line, this printer is relatively inexpensive, functional and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It prints. It scans. It copies. If it conks out in a year or two, I won’t be devastated.

I mean, it’s a $50 printer. If you can justify not using your local library’s printer, buy it.Initially, it printed fine for like 4 months, then started bugging out. Printing one page fine, second page has a weird glitch section, third page prints a quarter of the way then stops.Tried all the tricks, cleared the spool in the folder on my computer, restarted both hardwares, repeats the process. Don’t bother.

Follow instructions step by step. Magically the printer printed further instructions after I completed the instructions in the box. There is not a hard wired cable to connect to your pc with but the printer has its own WiFi network so connecting wirelessly is a breeze. As long as you download the hp smart print app and install the printer as a new printer there shouldn’t be any problems with it. I can see why there would be mixed reviews though. Missing one step throws everything off. I thought I was taking a risk purchasing a frequently returned item on sale even. But it all worked out. It’s compact, quick and easy to use. I haven’t had a paper jam yet but I am only printing pictures …not lots of paper work. The color quality is superb as long as you haven’t over edited the photo.

Setup was a breeze IF you follow the setup guide. Duh! The only exception was the automatic “reading” of the Wi-Fi password; I actually had to enter the password. I was looking for a low price printer while my other printer is repaired under warranty. This HP Deskjet 2827e is perfect for me. I’ll probably give it to a grandchild when my main printer is repaired/replaced. The cost of printing is basically the cost of ink anyway.

Works great! A lot of the issues in comment section are connectivity issues.Solved. You can print straight from your phone or computer but best if set up on wifi network. In order for this unit to work you have to download app and or use a driver (mandatory). Driver has to be downloaded wifi if you phone doesn’t automatically download. You can download the HP driver or android driver. To print from phone without wifi you have to toggle settings on printer from wifi to direct wifi (like Bluetooth) connect. Connect to direct wifi using the code that will be printed when you press the info button. Prints fast , clean & has quite setting. To access deep settings must be on wifi. But works! So far so good. Good scan quality & print quality. Try these before sending back, it will work! Enjoy!

I got this mini printer to make stickers to organize my pantry. It is mini sized but well designed. It easily connects via Bluetooth. It was really easy to set up and the app is easy to follow. It has a bunch of preset designs you can print or you can create your own. It comes with three rolls of sticker paper and I had plenty to make everything I wanted with it. My grandkids are obsessed with it, they have made stickers for everything and they have been printing little pictures on it. It was perfect for my needs and it would make a really fun and affordable gift.

The printer arrived ahead of schedule. It is portable and very easy to operate. My son loves it. I am able to make stickers for him. Prints very nicely and quick. The price is right. This adorable little pink mini printer is so handy. Years ago I bought label maker, which requires very specific label refills (many of which broke before I was able to use them up), it also has very limited labeling capabilities, with only 1 font, 3 sizes, and a limited selection of ClipArt images. This helpful little thing is far more functional, it’s lighter, has a greater printer capability, because this printer prints labels, pictures, logos, QR and barcodes and more. You have a wide range of label refills to choose from on amazon when time comes to replace. This package gives you three rolls of sticker paper, and 3 helpful little containers that hold the refill sticker paper. Honestly, I no longer use my old label maker. The cool thing is that this is a thermal printer, and therefore requires no ink. Pictures have high color value, even though it’s gray scale. Bluetooth always connects to my phone without issue.

I’ve had this for about a year, I’m on the end of my third semester of college and I’ve now ran through the entirety of the provided toner.To date I have had 0 jams, a small handful of the scanner not feeding straight (probably my fault in bad loading), and zero problems with ink. The prints have been consistently high quality text and have had basically no fall off, even the very last two pages the printer produced on the original toner are perfectly legible. Are they perfect? No, but it’s been yelling at me to replace the toner for the last ~50 pages.I plan to shove a new 20-30$ toner in this thing and keep running it until I can’t live without color printing. And then I’m sure I’ll still find a home or use for it. As far as I can tell, this thing is the toyota prius/camry of printers. Does exactly what it needs to do with no fuss and no scary bill waiting to jump scare you.The app and set-up is easy if you’re tech inclined. I love that I can tell it to print something from anywhere, if I need to. I have used this from across town when I needed a mound of papers printed on short notice for my girlfriend. And I had no worries that I’d come home to a jammed printer, just a stack of papers as ordered.The one thing this doesn’t have that would be neat, is the ability to scan both sides of a double sided printed paper. I use PDFgear to rearrange files when I need to sort out a double scanned stack. Would I pay an extra 100$+ for that feature? I suppose if I was doing a lot more scanning, but since I do it roughly 15 times a year. NahNotes: I use nicer 24lb paper designed for inkjet in this (166140R), this could be part of why I am having a lovely time with the printer. I’ve also used the printer to print onto card stock, which it handles without fuss. The ink doesn’t perfectly fix to card stock, but it’ll do the job if you just need some lines to trace for a craft project.

Got this networkable printer to replace old, non-network, but still functional, Canon MF4150. I just got tired of trying to share the USB connection from linux to a windows PC.This printer is lighter and perhaps not as rugged as the Canon, but ample for home office. (no kids)I chose this one because it has both ethernet and wifi, am starting with ethernet for now.Plugged into network and both linux and windows found it right away (via Bonjour) and connected. No drivers needed!On Linux, `gscan2pdf` found the scanner on the network and was immediately able to use it.Print quality is fine. We’ll see how it holds up over time. Compatible toner cartridges easy to find and cheap. I had to look at the video to understand how to install the first toner cartridge, but easy once you see it. Replacement drum is also available if I ever need it (but it costs more than the printer!)Paper handling (autoduplex print, auto sheet feeder for scan or copy) works well, at least to start with (as mentioned, not an office workhorse, don’t know how long it will continue to work…) Note auto sheet feeder can do 2 sided scanning or copying, but you must manually restack the originals (and copies).It’s a little noisier than my Canon, but mostly because it’s sitting on the table right behind me.Earned the 5th start because this is the most “like new” refurbished item I’ve ever seen! Unit came sealed in plastic bag with the shipping tape still on it, holding all the drawers closed. (see the unboxing pic) I have to say I have been buying refurbished electronics for several years and have not been disappointed yet!

This Brother DCP-L2640DW has been excellent so far. Setup was straightforward, wireless connectivity is available though I have mine connected directly to my LAN, and the print quality is sharp and consistent. Duplex printing is smooth, and the copy/scan functions are quick and easy to use. The scanner works great with the Brother IPrint&Scan software, and printing from my smartphone over the LAN has been excellent.I’ve had this printer for over a month now, and the toner level already shows about half remaining — a good sign that it’s been handling a fair amount of printing without issue. One thing I did notice is that the printer draws enough power to flicker the lights and trigger my UPS when it starts up. I solved this by putting it on a separate circuit in my home office, and since then it has been flawless. It’s not a dealbreaker at all — just something to be aware of if you’re running sensitive equipment on the same line.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s a solid, reliable printer that fits perfectly in a small office setup, and the renewed premium version feels like new.

This Canon TR4720 Pixma Printer was very simple to install, as it replaced a previous Series MG Pixma printer. Once I got it out of the box, I powered it up and was able to locate it instantly with my home WiFi. And so far, it has functioned perfectly as a Canon printer should. It doesn’t weigh a lot and needs only one Black, and one Multicolor ink tank. It will be interesting to see how much time before I need to order more ink. However, the color printing quality has been very good so far.

I bought a different canon printer a year ago and it died on me. I really didn’t want to buy another one from the same company because I felt the product wqs faulty, but read reviews about HP printers that you have to sign up for a subscription and pay per page you print. Who knows if that is true? But I didn’t want to hassle with that.I decided to upgrade to this printer so I can print from my phone. Let me tell you, I had been living in the stone age. This printer is so convenient. It was relatively easy to set up. I had to take the ink cartridges out and go through that step of the setup a couple times before it would let me continue, mildly frustrating, but overall okay. The fact that I can sit on my butt on the couch and print something at the same time is well worth it.Hopefully this printer lasts more than a year! I bought the 3 year protection plan for $8 this time. Lesson learned.

EDIT AUG 15 – Printer broke after printing approximately 50 pages – one day after the 30-day return notice. Something guiding the ink and paper feeder snapped and was hanging out of the mechanism. Complete junk. Run far away.I made an impulse buy on Prime Day. I just needed an all-in-one printer to replace the HP that was giving me fits and the price was right. My mistake for not looking more closely at it. The form factor is a complete throwback to the 90s – it’s big compared to modern printers, and the loading/printing is from the front, which isn’t great. The screen is hard to read, and everything is as flimsy as it could get without breaking immediately.The setup was a pain, and you are directed to a subdomain to download the software, which of course, isn’t approved by Apple. The download page, itself was built in the 90’s and the search function doesn’t work, the printer doesn’t come up as an option but if you mess around long enough, the list of printers completely changes and it appears. Network connection takes several minutes. There is no set-up walk-through and the desktop app is not installed with the initial download, so the rest of this review is based on best guesses and user error until I went hunting for a desktop app out of sheer frustration.The downloadable manual, like everything else, was a complete flashback to the 90’s technical writing style. It’s 434 pages and written with no thought to workflow – Set up isn’t even mentioned. Four hundred thirty-four pages and no Quick Start Guide. Cool cool. Each section has drop-downs for the steps with links inside the drop-down. Be sure to note which page you are on because if you click one of those links, there’s no going back. You won’t find the user manual. (After I found the desktop app, it does have a link to an online version of the manual that is easier to navigate, but it’s still really old-school.) The colors are not sharp or saturated. All colors are faded and pastel. After figuring out troubleshooting on the printer menu because I had given up on the manual, I ran all the usual tests and cleaning, hoping for better print quality. Nope. It’ll do for printing out text-based material, but you wouldn’t dare to try to print an image or photo. I’ll keep messing with it.Desktop app – again, it’s not included in the original download and it’s outdated and most things link to the horrible website. Mac users – you will need to download all the functions software individually, as well.Be sure to buy ink!!! The starter pack of ink will not get you very far. Two test pages, a nozzle clean, and a one-page text document has already made a noticeable dent in the ink levels.

This is a good printer for the money. That said it seems to go through ink 20 pages and it shows less then 50% ink remaining. Not what I expected. The screen is on the top of the printer and very small and hard to read in low light. I have to use a flashlight to see it. Should be backlight.

Had this printer previously and when it broke (had for quite a few years) decided to replace it with the same one. It is easy to use, easy to make wireless connection to my computer. Have used scanning, copying, and printing functions without a problem. Good quality, light and easy to move, print speed adequate for what I need. Haven’t printed in color yet, but my old printer did a good enough job.

First time I’ve seen a printer cost less than its ink cartridges. More importantly, for the haters out there, as an IT pro, I have the TS6420 connected to 2 PCs, 3 laptops, 4 cellphones, 2 iPads, and a Chromebook. Other than the first install on Win 11 Home that required downloading a driver file, all other installs literally took less than 2 minutes and without any driver installs. Hint: Update you OS first. Then be sure each device is on the same network as the printer is. Manual printer setup works the best, a bit awkward, but it’s 1-&-done. Go to Setup and click on Add New Device. The printer should automatically appear. You’re not on the same network if it doesn’t. Let your device automatically install the drivers, print a test page, and enjoy. Use the Canon Print app for your cellphones to connect in seconds. This app is also the easiest way to change printer settings. Another hint is don’t push the paper tray cassette hard into the printer to make it flush with the printer body. This is contrary to Canon’s international instructions. Any paper longer than 10 inches will require the cassette extending from under the printer by a few unnoticeable inches. Lastly, play around with the print settings if you want to speed it up. I can print a b&w document without graphics in about 5 seconds using greyscale and draft quality with print preview turned off. Follow these hints and you’ll be impressed.

While I can’t speak to longevity yet, I must say that I am impressed and happy with this printer!Setup of the printer was so much easier and quicker than I expected or have experienced with printers in the past.I did have to resort to manually connecting the printer to my WiFi after connection failed via the other routes, but I did so without issue.I have now successfully printed from it using the ink cartridges that came with it and Amazon printer paper. I was happy with it and had no issues.Really not sure what all of these negative reviews are talking about! I’m so glad I decided to take the chance and not to listen to them!

For a wireless printer I thought it would be something similar to Bluetooth… Not quite.First, there was no instruction manual in the box, just a single paper with a website instructing registration. (We do not live with a wifi connection so we had to walk this heavy machine up to a friend’s house for it’s set up and trial prints.)So ok maybe the sit will have sine silly tutorials, an entire FAQ page, some other stuff. Nope.The online manual is a gallery of pictographs, indicating that an app is required for the registration and use of the printer.Ok. Maybe the app will have everything.The app was frustrating to set up it’s wireless connection (not really needing wifi at all), and then when finally synced, it’s useless for printing anything other than pictures from my phone’s gallery. What I mean is, through the Canon PRINT app, you can’t access anything else. Which, after getting that far, the damn print quality is too grainy for pictures!Upon finally getting access through the PRINT app yo my documents, it Still won’t print.Any time we tried to access documents on my word appto print, the apps on my phone started to act weird, saying that the open document, that I was clearly looking at and trying to print from, was unavailable.My husband was finally able to print from his phone, without the app, straight from other apps or files, directly from our email and even some music chords directly from a website! Yes that’s great, if that what I needed the printer for. When synced back up to my phone, the printer refused to access my apps or files, again saying they were unable to open them. Wtf did the PRINT app do to my other apps?Once we were back home, I tried the scanner – the least frustrating thing about the whole day – printer is fine for text, not crisp but not as grainy as images. Struggles with copying stamps.) I am still having difficulty getting my documents from Microsoft Word to print, even when directly saved onto my phone’s storage rather than the cloud.It vehemently refuses to connect to my computer without a 4-8 digit pin. Which I don’t have.Oh, and the paper tray locks half sticking out, in print mode, only occasionally allowing to be pushed fully back under the body – I still don’t know how it went back in the first time and cannot get it to repeat the closure. Afraid to break the damn thing I left it out when I put it away for the day, wholly frustrated with the entire experience.Today when trying again there is a repeated 1001 and 1003 error about the paper tray. I’ve taken it out, fixed the paper, put it back in about a dozen times. It’s fine. Still won’t print. Now it won’t print anything.The ONLY nice thing about this printer (when you scan!) is that when the paper jams, the back of the machine can be almost be fully opened so you can access the paper trapped around the rollers. I’ll admit that was pretty sweet.I got this printer for work and it’s by far the most infuriating printer I’ve ever used. If I could return it, I would, but that would cost more money than I purchased it for.

I’ve tried many unless printers over the last couple of years, including several Phomemo brand. This one beats them all. Phomemo has some questionable data collection practices that make me very uncomfortable (Phomemo products are almost entirely non functional with an internet connection, and if you read their terms of service – you are giving them full legal rights to everything you print. They own it to use for any reason they want. And it’s all going directly to china servers. It is classic chinese IP collection tactics). Please do not delete this comment, as I’d be happy to share my data proxy logs to show this process in action as well as the specific terms of service that allow it).As far as I can tell, this product does not engage in these practices.Now the caveat – to use the design software with full features, it does cost $35 per year. But if that means I own my IP, I am ok with that. I paid it and I believe the software is good enough to warrant it.Great purchase

I didnt have high expectations for this, but honestly its a really great tool. I have a cottage bakery business and this works great for labeling all of my goods. It has a ton of different templates, uses different size and shaped labels, and you can upload or create your own designs. It is only black and white but thats the only downside I can see to having this. Otherwise it does a really great job with labels.

Love how convenient this is. It’s affordable, the app is really easy to use and I love that they break out which label types go to each type of maker. It’s such a great size to bring with you and I never have issues with it working even if I have it printing for a while! Bluetooth connectivity is quick and I never have issues!

I am a Type A person who loves labels. Totally admit that I’m nuts. I think for the price point, this label maker is worth it. Let’s talk pros and cons: no color, which is fine if you are good with that. Thermal printers typically do not have a color option. Sometimes the quality of the print is just so so, but again. The price gives good output. It’s light and portable which is great! I don’t live that it loses the connectivity every time. The apps that come with the product are not bad. However, like anything these days, anything great requires a monthly membership or payment to get more. The basic level templates work fine. With any label maker, you will need to purchase more labels. This does come with several options and colors. Overall, I think it’s worth the money as long as it’s on sale!

I am still setting this up. I may have to subscribe to their app to be able to get access to their templates. The pairing was super simple. I will know more this weekend.

I love that I can customize designs and text right from my phone utilizing the Bluetooth pairing feature! This printer is lightweight and just the right size to be able to carry around on the go!

It’s a plug and play. It came with HP inks that provided clear, crisp and accurate colors.It was relatively inexpensive and I only needed a longer data cord to my very old computer tower of the same brand.No need to set up printing; print black or color with just a push of the corresponding button. A three-year-old could use it.

HP recommends using your mobile phone to setup the printer via an app. I found the process quick and simple, especially considering how much setup there is (phone app, WIFI, loading paper, inserting cartridges, printing test page, scanning test page for alignment, etc.)I was pleasantly surprised by how well the document feeder for scanning worked. I scanned a seven page document that I had been handling off and on since it was printed last week. Each page feed smoothly and accurately with no jams.

Just had my new printer delivered today. So far I love it! It was very easy to setup. I love the HP app and the idea of the auto ink program. The printer is fast and print is excellent quality. Hopefully I continue to feel the same as time goes on.

Didn’t realize this was an older HP model when I ordered. Still adjusting to the differences such as having to manually reinsert paper for 2 sided copies and the info screen on this printer is very small. This printer prints out a message page when it is trying to help.The set up instructions were not great either but I was able to find videos online that were useful.Overall the printer will work for home use.

Nice all in one with wireless makes my printing so easy. I really like this one. I’ll tell you more when I have to buy ink.

Very easy to hookup. I already had the icon on my computer for scanning, printing and copying and it worked perfectly. It is quiet when it is printing. So far it seems to be a good value for the money. The color is bright and you only need 2 ink cartridges as opposed to 4. I would definitely recommend this printer.

A little harder to get running mine still not running yet

I’m not sure what to think of this printer. I ran into an immediate problem since my computer is on a 5 ghz network and the printer requires a 2.4ghz network (not disclosed in the ad as AFAIKT). I finally got it to work with a wired 5 ghz connection and a 2.4 ghz wireless connection to my computer but don’t really understand how. It seems to require that you run your print jobs thru the HP Smart app. The process to get the printer working took a couple of hours.Another bit of weirdness is having to use print cartridges that you get by mail with a subscription from HP. I guess this is why the printer is so cheap – there’s a continuous stream of income to HP from the ink cartridge subscriptions. Apparently bad stuff happens if you try to use a non-HP cartridge in it.The shipping box was very resistant to any attempts to remove the printer. I finally had to tear it apart to get the printer out.

I’ve had this small, effective label printer for a week now and its saved me SO MUCH TIME! Prints 4×6 labels so quickly and does not use any ink (which we have been changing a lot on the HP Printer) and it saves us so much money alone! (An INK Cartridge alone is $$$$$$) So highly recommend this printer. Easy to set up and easy to use. It also works through blue tooth on the phones as well. So easy! So intuitive! This Bluetooth thermal label printer works great for printing my 4×6 shipping labels. I’m using it with my iPhone, and setup was very simple — just connect via Bluetooth and follow the instructions. I purchased this based on great price and functionality for printing shipping labels. Packaged well, compact, simple to setup.I use my Android phone (fold7) and eBay app to generate & save the .pdf label THEN use the KNAON “Flashlabel” app to print the label via bluetooth(?). Apparently you must use the Flashlabel app to print via bluetooth. Takes an extra step but not too much more time. Seems to be good quality and I expect to use it daily for a long time. I will keep it and recommend.

As is the case with most of my tech purchases, I tend to look for the most….”cost, practical” option, relevant to how much I plan on using the item, etc. And this KNAON shipping label printer is an ABSOLUTE, WINNER….after the first 20+ labels or so (4 days of use, so far). Clear impressions,…easy formating, and the software works FLAWLESSLY with my Lenovo notebook (USB) and WIRELESSLY, with my Samsung Galaxy (Android OS)! Most of my shipping (all,…to-date, with the KNAON) is done via USPS, and contrary to some reviews where people had problems with the barcode/tracking being accepted or acknowledged with USPS system, ALL OF MY LABELS, were accepted without issue. Perhaps, down the road I might encounter a problem with this printer, but like I said; at least through the first work-week of using it, this KNAON label maker gets 2 thumbs up, from me!! ????????

Works surprisingly well, for the money. Wansnt difficult to set up and use, and only took a few minutes. Prints seem to come out just fine, after adjusting the settings in the app for print speed and density. The app is called FlashLabel Pro, free in the App Store. They have some drivers for Windows, but I wish they had a similar app to work with, like the one on the iPhone. Overall, it’s pretty compacts and takes the 3 various sized labels that I’ve tried, just fine and does a good job automatically lining up. This is my first thermal printer, so I have nothing else to really compare it to.
