What Customers Say:

  • Enhances Android
PrintShare is worth having if you want to print directly from your phone or tablet. You have a lot more control over output if you email or transfer your documents to a PC but PrintShare shines when you need to print certain content (call logs, messages, calendar entries, contacts) for which transfer may be difficult and output quality is not an issue.A few brief additional remarks:- PrinterShare adds a sometimes needed capability because, unlike more mature and much larger operating systems, Android does not support printing natively – after all, who would have thought 2 years ago that people may want to print ‘stuff’ off their phones or tablets?- Not being integrated into the operating system explains PrinterShare’s peculiar behavior. Instead of printing from within an app or by selecting ‘print’ from an object’s list of available properties and actions, PrinterShare runs as a separate app that provides print support for a defined set of apps/objects: pictures, web pages, calendar, contacts, messages, call log, Gmail, Google docs and documents. In other words, you must run PrintShare every time you want to print something.- The app supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, remote printers and cloud printers. Of these I tested the first 2 without problems. My printers were located and identified quickly, drivers were loaded and the output quality (printer’s default) was good. However, the drivers ability to control a printer did not go much beyond sending the doc to the printer. Cloud and remote printing may provide additional flexibility but I haven’t tested them.- I had no problem printing images, PDF, Word and text files on an Epson Artisan and an HP OfficeJet Pro printer but I don’t know how many or which specific printers are supported or which printers are not supported.Given that the app adds a needed capability to the operating system I can’t hold the its developers responsible for lack of deep integration with the OS. This would not be needed if Android provided print support itself. The app’s inability to fully control printers is also no surprising given that PrintShare’s publisher has limited resources. Its limitations noted, this should be a 5-star for anyone who must be able to print off an Android device.–>>Brush your teeth, it’s the law!<<
  • Stopped working after 60 days
I purchased this app for my Kindle Fire, and it worked fine for about 60 days. It would detect local printers over WiFi at home and at my office, and it did a reasonable job of finding the appropriate drivers. Printing was quick and generally accurate for Word documents. I didn’t try other types. After about 60 days, the rendering document screen showed only a blank page and only a blank page would print. I tried reinstalling the app, but that did not change things. I tried different printers and different documents with no success.Of note, it appears there was a recent update to the document rendering function. This automatically installed when I started the app. I am suspicious that the update broke the app on the Kindle Fire.Update to my review:I have be contacted by technical support at Dynamix. They asked that I try some new Word documents, which I created on my PC using Word 2007 and side loaded. The documents would still not render and print. They asked that I send them copies of a document that would not render and print. They said they were able to render and print the document using their test Kindle Fire devices. They sent me an app crash log application that I ran after not being able to render or print. I emailed them a log file. I have heard nothing for a week.Be aware, this app may work with some Kindle Fires, but there is apparently something with either my particular device or my installed applications that causes it to fail to render Word documents.Additional update:I still have not heard back from Dynamix. I have tried additional steps to correct the problem, including stopping and uninstalling all unessential and 3rd party apps, clearing the cache and reinstalling PrinterShare and trying documents created with different versions of Word. Nothing has helped. I can render and print jpg’s and contact information, but nothing else. I have asked for a refund, but have not received a response.
  • Great App!
I have been wanting an app for my kindle fire hd for quite a while. I read the reviews on this app and didn’t want to spend $12.95 if it wasn’t going to do what I wanted. However, when it went on sale for $4.95, I thought that I would take a chance. It works perfectly with my mobile bluetooth printer as well as as my regular e-printer. Setup was really easy. They have you download updated drivers and something else to be able to print documents and then you just scan for the printer and then select it and when you tap on a document, a window will come up for you to choose which program you want to use to open it. You pick printershare and it is ready to print once you click on print. Works great. Can print from websites, too. Glad I took the chance. It is back to $12.95 now.An Update: Still love this app. I have had a couple of updates lately and the only thing that is an inconvenience is you have to download the document file again to print documents. When you click on a document, and then the PrinterShare icon, it instructs you to download something in order to print the documents. Never have to do it again until an update, then you have to repeat the process. Wish it would stay installed so you didn’t have to repeat doing it after each update. Keep finding out new ways to use this. If you want to print a web page, click on ‘share’ and then click on the PrinterShare Mobile icon. Works great. And I can print my e-mails if I go to the hotmail or yahoo website and print from there instead of from my e-mail app on my kindle (you can’t print from there). Overall, it is a great app and I would highly recommend it!

What Customers Say:

  • Easy and no recurring fees
If you can build a webpage, or already have one- this app will display it without falling asleep. It’s a simple one purpose app to do something that more advanced services charge subscriptions for. I have a TV in my house and I can use this to blast our family schedule. I could see restaurants or building lobbies using this as well for menus or directories.I’m no super technical, so I actually just made a 16:9 image which I uploaded to Imgur. And then I just enter the imgur address into the app, and it displays perfectly. If you need templates or help building a webpage to display- this won’t help you there. You need to already have the webpage to point to.
  • Unwanted download
Don’t even know what this is or how it got ordered. Don’t use it or even know where to go to use it.
  • Will not auto start
Very simple app Just enter a HTTP link and it will display it just as you would do in a web browser. There are other programs in the store that can auto start and have many more options for $4.00
  • Really easy to set up and use, perfect app for displaying webpages on a TV
This app was very easy to set up and use. I’m using it as a wallboard to display stats so the auto-startup on boot feature and 5 minute refresh time makes this app perfect for displaying webpages on a TV.
  • Wedding Venue Lobby TV
This app is incredible. It’s exactly what we were hoping to achieve in our lobby signage. We have a wedding venue where the guests walk in through the lobby and need to look at our 60″ lobby tv in order to see where they should go. We have a building directory graphic that gets updated each day and needed to be able to display it on the monitor without it disappearing when the tv goes to sleep etc. We tried probably 5 different solutions and this one was the best of all of them. I highly recommend it if you’re looking to display a webpage url without it falling asleep.
  • CANCELAR ESTA APP
CANCELAR ESTA APP, SE COMPRO POR ERROR, NO ME DA LA OPCION DE CANCELAR……CANCELAR CANCELAR CANCELAR
  • Perfect for a displaying a web page
It did exactly what I needed it to do. It displayed a dynamic web page in the office on the TV screens all day long.
  • Goals!!!!
I recently purchased this program for my office to display a webpage to track my office production. The issue was my firestick would go to sleep when I would use the normal web page. At first the app didn’t work, and I got a little discouraged. I reached out to the developers right around the holiday season. A few days later I actually got a response from them. I was able to voice my concerns. They actually worked with me so that I would be able to fully use this feature for my intention. They went above and beyond my expectations to see that my goals for this application were met!!!!!!

What Customers Say:

  • Doing text editing on my Android Open Office on my Kindle Fire 10 works smooth, fast and easy
My old tablet broke recently (dropped it, screen got cracked, and it was getting really slow anyway). I’d been using it to edit text away from my desk, which I often found handy for a variety of reasons. I knew I wanted to use Open Office on my new tablet, a Kindle Fire 10, but I wasn’t sure if it would work all that well on a Kindle, which can be finicky about what it will work with. But I tried it, and it has worked very well. Some caveats: I don’t use Open Office for anything but text editing, so I can’t speak for its other uses, such as spreadsheet, database, drawing or presentations. I also do not create highly formatted documents, so I can’t speak for the more involved forms of formatted text. I do simple text files with body text and headers to be used on a variety of devices. I can’t speak for how well it handles more complex projects. But I do work on novel-length files regularly, and Open Office handles a 40,000-100,000 word file just fine. (Current project runs just over 40,000 words, it’s smooth as can be. It also integrates very well with Dropbox, which means I can easily access files via my Windows computer on my desktop as well as my Fire tablet, so there’s no problem with conflicting versions floating around.Way, way, way worth the six dollar price tag, as far as I’m concerned.
  • Microsoft Office that says it all.
Disliked time to install, but can use on 5 other devices even mobile devices, iPhone, iPad and I guess other similar devices. Microsoft products are good the best I cannot say but always adequate for my needs. Subscription a severe pain but necessary in today’s world. Have yet to use but not worried especially using it on iPhone. Good product do not expect otherwise.
  • Open Office Best Set of Productivity Tools
I have been using Open Office on my laptop and was very happy to find an Amazon Fire version. The only problem was that the spell check didn’t work. I finely found a spell checker on the Open Office site to download. It took another two days to figure out that it had to be installed with the Extension Manager. To get the Help files you have to go to Add-Ons on the opening screen and load the English Language Pack. This is supposed to provide spell checking, but it didn’t. It did, however, provide the Help files.I do wonder why the Amazon App Store charges for Open Office since it is distributed free by the not-for-profit company that produces it. If you use this office suite regularly, consider sending them a donation.
  • Great Replacement For Window Office on all OS
Works great on my Fire HD 8, Samsung Tab S, Samsung FE20, & MS-10 computer. Because of the Microsoft 11 blunder I’m moving completely away from Microsoft. Win-11 is an environmental nightmare, considering all the computers that will need to be dispised of. I’m looking to switch my computer OS to a Linux based system, OpenOffice works on that also. I find OpenOffice an excellent replacement (I have heard tech companies are switching to it also), great functionality, no glitches & easy to use!
  • Help?
Help! Unless someone can help me I am going to leave this review as it is and ask Amazon for a refund . My problem: I have had years of good experience with Open Office on my laptop. I can’t get this to work on my Fire HE 10 9th generation. Specifically, After I figured out how to save a text document and find it when I try to open it all I get is a Properties screen which shows: Character Set Unicode (utf-8) – I tried other settings here so this may not be the original one, Default Fonts Dena by serif, Language English (USA). When a click on OK I get an AndrOpen Office Pro text document which starts off with “%PDF-1.4” and then goes with some sort of code. How can I save a document as either a MS Office order document and then be able to open and also attach to an email? Copy and paste would also be good. This app sorely needs a Help page.
  • Needed this for one work document. Did great.
I have used OpenOffice on my laptop for many years, so I was looking forward to having it available for my new tablet. There are some quirks with this version, mostly having to do with text selection and menus, but it does the job. The documents are compatible between the laptop and the tablet now, thankfully.
  • App usage reporting opt-out configuration option not in v 2.4.9
I just downloaded this app (version 2.4.9) and have yet to use it other than to open default (new) documents of the offered types. The point of this review is to address the privacy policy page (from link on the app description page): The policy notes”Information to be transmitted [to Google, Inc., via Google Analytics]- Number of times the app start- Screen transition- User actionIt should be remarkedContents or Name of the file will not be sent.personal information to identify who the user will not be sent.”An opt-out configuration option appears in version 2.5.1, but not in this version 2.4.9. It’s not clear what if anything is sent to Google in this version 2.4.9.
  • Not quite ready for prime time.
I haven’t used the word processor yet. There are few bugs in the spreadsheet, one of which is very irritating. After editing it for about 20 minutes, I attempted to save it and got an error. Could not save it. Exited without saving then opened it back up again. Still couldn’t save changes without getting an error. When I closed the app completely and opened document again, the problem was solved.Another issue is that when I click on the Help button, there is no help. Hopefully the developer is aware of these issues and will fix them. This app has the potential to be great. Just need to fix all the bugs.

I have used the Dake’s bible for years and I absolutely love it. I was overjoyed that it was finally available for the Kindle. However, even though it is available for the Kindle, my Kindle tells me that it is not compatible. I have a new Kindle which is less than 3 months old. I have tried several times to download load the app, so far no go. Anyone have any ideas?
  • Five Stars
It is great, it has been a long time coming, so glad it is here.
  • Downloaded the app and it didn’t work and I am out of the money for it now.
App was apparently antiquated and will not work on newer devices
  • Can finding the app that is being used for this book
I can not find the app for this book anyway on my devices.
