    I received some interesting coins, but there are too many duplicate coins. The coins aren’t very old as well. The years of the coins that I received ranged from the 1970’s to the 2000’s. The coin quality and condition are generally okay, but I definitely don’t think it’s worth the money.

I was a little disappointed to see the condition of the package after USPS handled it, and I feel a few coins were likely lost due to no fault of the seller.Even though the packaging and pretty blue velvet bag were torn through and put into a USPS bag for damaged packages, I was still able to add 46 new coins to my ever-growing collection, with only 3 repeats of coins I already had prior to buying this, and I’m very satisfied with my purchase. 10/10

    I purchased two of these gift bags for a friend of mine who has a little foreign coin collection and he wasn’t disappointed going through them. It’s always fascinating to see coins minted in different shapes, sizes and from different materials. It’s also exciting to see coins that are no longer in circulation, let alone ones from countries that don’t exist anymore or are independent from their colonialism such as Hong Kong.The only complaint (if you can even call it that) was that one of my bags had several dozen euros inside and that nothing we received was older than the late 60’s; but again, the mixed lot was enough for us to more or less overlook those facts.Your bag will be different. It’s an absolute gamble, so if you know a young numismatist, a lover of foreign coins or just need a few pieces for a project or craft; you’ll probably truly enjoy this little grab bag!

    Very nice challenge coin for the Marine in your life. Patriotic design that celebrates the Marines 250th birthday. It’s 1 3/4” in diameter. Comes in a coin case to protect it while being carried. There’s one thing that I didn’t notice immediately, and maybe it’s just mine, but “Anniversary” on one side of the coin looks more like anniver sary, with a space between the r and s. This is why I’m knocking it down to 4 stars. Otherwise, it’s a great looking challenge coin for the Marines.

    Most challenge coins I’ve collected are well made, good looking graphics, solid colors, nice weight. I’d say this one is definitely up to par with the best.The graphics, particularly the Tun Tavern image, and really well done with great colors. The overall finish is very nice, with bright gold plating on lettering, perimeter, sides, and select details.What tops it all off is the degree of deep detail relief that really sets this coin apart from some other coins I have collected. Quite a showpiece. And nicely encapsulated if you want to keep it that way, but the clear shell can be removed if you prefer to display it that way.While the usual way to get a challenge coin isn’t to buy one for yourself from a retailer, so I will be passing mine on to my close Marine buddy. It marks and important anniversary, I know he will want in his collection, and I will make that happen.It is a well-made class product. Trust me, you will wish you had gotten one of these later if you pass it up, and I’ve not seen another to celebrate this event that looks near as good, or has the tavern image, or the relief and details.     The color is very vibrant on this coin. I got it for my marine husband as we celebrate Veterans day and the Marine’s birthday. I give it 4 stars because the description and pictures do not accurately represent the product. I am familiar with challenge coins, so I knew what to expect, but this is NOT 3D engraved. As you can see from a side view, it is flat. It might have varied colors, but that doesn’t make it 3D, it’s 2D. I tun tavern side is too bright, so the details are hard to see. The Marine’s logo side has nice coloring and shading making it appear more 3D, but upon closer inspection it’s clearly 2D. My husband did like it and was surprised. I wanted to give it to him on Veterans Day, but he started to save other coins in our cart and I realized he was interested in getting one for himself – no surprise there as we often have the same idea – it’s truly hard to surprise him. LOL.

    The coin looks nice and its very neat. Mine has a small crack in the plastic case but that could have been during shipping. The coin itself has 2 very tiny smudges or marks like little lines on the front you can hardly notice. I can’t get the coin out of the plastic without breaking it to see if it wipes off. But it’s a good looking coin. Only issue is the price is much higher than a real Silver Eagle coin but on Amazon they are taking probably 15% of the profit from the seller so its understandable.

    Was not disappointed with the content. Got the mercury, Indian head and a couple of really nice 40s and 50s. Definitely helped with my decades collection. Read the reviews some folks didn’t get the goods. I did. The prize was this 1943 steely beauty in excellent condition. Definitely worth the wait. Photo is not great but definitely a steely.

    If I could give a “no star” I would. The penny’s are terrible. They have been searched and I have found better wheat pennies on the road. The dime was really bad, you could not hardly tell what face was on it.

    The 1st time I ordered from these guys I never got in the Morgan dime the 1st time like I was supposed to that’s not the end of the world but 1 of the rules of pennies was just 1957 wheat pennies other time prior to that they were very rusted looking pennies as if they were already washed some kind of rust And they were not the greatest dates but this last one I had pretty good ones I got 1919,1914,1924,1926, 1932 and much more other good ones now I’m ordering 3 more sets hoping that maybe when they say unsearched that these next 3 will be as good as my last purchase as they say I’m not too sure about that but finally the last sets that I found the 1914,1919,1920s,& 1930s well I’m willing to take a chance 3 more times so I just Order 3 more I figured why not take 3 more chances to get as much as good coins as I Previously ordered! I hope that you guys get a chance to get as good as I did this last time! Also To the company thank you very much I do appreciate the good ones I received with the last sets of coins very grateful and will be Doing another review based on the next 3 orders I get thank you if I could I would buy everybody’s wheat pennies that they had no interest in so I can make up another collection of mine In a few days I’ll put an email if anybody had any interest if they didn’t like their coins

    Wheaties are awesome. Unsearched, was hoping for a 1909, but no. Mainly bought for the merc dime. The dime was very poor condition, add Pennies were all in decent shape. But with this no minting Pennie’s thing, I’m a happy buyer overall to have these coins!

  • Not totally honest in his description of the product
    First, just buy 5, if you’re going to buy this. The 6% discount currently is capped at 5 and not the “Buy more, save 6% more” type deal. If I had seen it on another section of the website, then I would’ve only bought the 5. The 2nd thing is the description of said product. They have that each shotgun roll will have✔️ 1 Mercury Dime✔️49 Wheat Pennies✔️Tightly Crimped Rolls✔️Guaranteed to date between the Early 1800s to 1958✔️ Key Dates, Semi-Key Dates, Uncirculated, Steel, Indian Head, Early Dates, Mint Marks and more!Now most is true but it should also say that a vast majority of your pennies will be from the 1040s & 1950s. Here’s my breakdown of the 7 rolls I bought:7 rolls I got 7 silver Mercury dimes. That’s 350 coins minus 7 dimes = 343 pennies to search.2 – 1920 pennies48 – 1930 pennies149 – 1940 pennies139 – 1950 pennies6 – Indian Head pennies0 – Steel pennies288 – 1940 & 1950 pennies combined that’s like 75% of all the rollsThe rolls were kind of tightly wrapped but not bank-wrapped because the printing on the rolls needed to line up in place. I think he felt sorry for giving me so many 1940 & 1950 coins so he gave me a roll of 1930’s. And all the 1930 pennies had no mint marks (all Philadelphia)So it’s pretty obvious that they make these rolls and put what they want in them (hence why the writing on the rolls never lined up). When they stated early 1800 to 1958, I really thought it would be a good selection of pennies, but they weren’t. A lot of the pennies were beaten up with some with partially missing dates, worn down dates, and some red pennies (nice). I didn’t see anything that popped out from the dates ( I catalog all coins that come in through the sellers and see what they give and I can decide whether to buy again or not to bother wasting my money and time with them again. And this seller I won’t deal with again. I get better pennies from auctions and pay less and I can get 2 to 5 Indian head pennies in a single roll just like steel pennies, even got a soaring eagle penny (big find, and so lucky)All I can say to other buyers is, to read the description of the product, scroll down and check how many you’re getting, the price of silver and see if there worth buying from. I took for granted that this seller was going to have a good deal here and it isn’t. Unless you’re looking for a ton of 1940 & 1950 pennies then be my guess. Same with buying by the pound or 5 pounds. I did and all I got was a ton of 1940 & 1950 pennies, only my estate auctions I do good on. So buyers beware of these types of descriptions and or discrepancies. Send a note to the seller to clarify the product or what you get. If anything this seller’s description should say that you’ll receive a majority of 1940 & 1950 pennies and not really the low end like they say.
