Awesome item. Easy to install. Uses a normal light bulb, so super easy to replace. Very clean looking.I edited this review after hearing back from customer service about the original issue (see below) their suggestions worked and removed the residue from the protective plastic sticker that was on the hood.This item arrived with a protective blue plastic peel off piece across the front of the hood. After installation, I removed this blue plastic to find that there are marks all over the front of the hood now from that blue plastic. I tried first cleaning them off with just a soft rag and water nothing. Then I tried Windex that didn’t work. So I tried a soft drag with some Dr. Bronner‘s soap and that had no effect either. Otherwise it is a lovely hood. Not sure how to get rid of these ugly marks.I took a photo, but it’s very hard to photograph.

We are remodeling our kitchen and needed a new range hood…. and it had to be white. The box stores had very few choices of white range hoods. I chose this one because our old one was a Nu Tone and it lasted for over 40 years. I’m sure this one won’t last that long, but it has all the features of the old one.We did not install this ourselves. Our painter did it for us. He installed it quickly with no problems.Since we still haven’t completed the remodel, we haven’t really used the filter and fan but the LED light is much brighter.

Bought this to replace the same thing that we’ve had for over 15 years. The old one had yellowed and looked worn. Didn’t research this one much since it was the same. If I had I would have caught that you have to order the light cover separately. Really? Talk about cheapening out to cut costs. Other than that it works great and looks nice.

I’ve had the Broan-NuTone 413004 Non-Ducted Range Hood for four years, and it’s been incredibly durable and dependable. The stainless steel finish still looks great, and it’s super easy to clean. The built-in lights and exhaust fan work efficiently, making it a practical and stylish addition to my kitchen. A solid choice for anyone needing a ductless under-cabinet solution.

Looks and works great! Helping to keep smoke levels down to almost nonexistent while cooking what would normally fill room with smoke. Wife loves it too. Fits perfect with no outside holes needed. Only drawback is no power cord included. Easy to find though.Would most definitely buy again.

Simple, sleek, clean look. We needed a simple hood as we added a secondary stove. This fit perfect and it gets the job done. It’s light weight and easy to install. Helps remove the heat and odors from the room. The noise level is okay, slightly loud when on high but they all do that, I have yet seen or found a “quiet” one. It does not bother me as long as it works and does what it needs to.

Hubs finally put this in my kitchen, I absolutely love it , read reviews light wasn’t bright, but I beg to differ it lights up my kitchen area . Semi easy to install, ( screws were not long enough , so make sure you measure your cabinet) cleans up well and looks great, price was good .

Easy to install cheap. Quality is mediocre at best. Suction is minimal and the fan and components are lack luster. If it was up to me, I would go with a little bit more of an expensive model maybe $30-$50 more. It’s worth it for the upgrade.

I’m going to award 5 stars for this hood, but I want to be clear about the trade-offs being made in this purchase. So, let’s say you live in a nice house, but you want to upgrade your “builder-grade” under cabinet hood to match your new 36 inch gas stove. When I say, match your stove, I mean your hood has to be able to draw in the gases (fuel+CO), smoke and grease. Without a decent hood, your gas stove is going to be a source of pollutants, irritation to the lungs and even cause asthma (apparently). So a good range hood is essential. Now, I normally think of high quality appliances as being heavy and sturdy, with lightweight appliances being cheap. So, I was disappointed when I first lifted the feather weight package. I thought how can something so light be better than what I have? But, lighter materials allow cheaper shipping, which allows more technology. Frankly, this is the ONLY range hood I have seen with gesture controls, whereby you can simply wave your hand in front of the sensor and change the speed or turn on or off the lights. Wave left or wave right to go up or down in fan speed. For the low price, light weight item you are also getting 3 fan speeds instead of 2 from the big box stores. I use the lowest setting mostly, but if I use multiple burners I need to crank it up. It is relatively quiet and sounds ‘smooth’ like a fan without obstruction. Surprisingly it is advertised as 450 cfm, that is double the power of most of the similar priced hoods I am seeing. Now, I have no way of proving it is 450 cfm, but the high setting seems to be drawing a lot of air. You also get your choice between ducted (mine) or a ductless filtered system. I advise going ducted if you can, because it is less maintenance and the smells go outside rather than clogging a filter. Now, interestingly, this unit blows the Samsung model out of the water when it comes to actual surface area of the hood that draws air. The Samsung has a 30 inch model with about a 15 inch area that draws air. This one is much wider to (I think) draw more air. So, these factors are why I am giving it a 5 star review. I also saw that Comfee won a consumer award for some appliance, so the manufacturer seems legit. Yet, I still have reservations about the feather weight appliance that enables such great technology. Firstly, I have read the reviews before posting my own. Not one of the 11 reviews mentioned the gesture controls, but instead referred to the touch controls. I assume this is because the gesturing might take time to get used to (waving your hand instead of touching a button). But it might be because it isnt working. Indeed, when I first received my unit I was standing in front of the sensor (do not block the sensor) and my gesturing was inoperable. I ended up getting a replacement because I did not think gesturing worked. And in reality, it seemed to vary according to how fast/hard I waved my hand. And we have to wonder how often the smoke and grease will clog the sensors? I have no idea about that. I also worry about digital controls. How long will they last, as compared to manual controls? With all of this said, for the added technology and the more powerful cfm (which I think is safer as it pulls more exhaust out of the living area) and the wider area for the fan to operate as compared to competitors, I still give it 5 stars. I suppose the worst that could happen is needing to replace it after couple of years (it has a one year warranty). All up, it is kinda cool and a little awesome if you have appropriate expectations.

Only negative I have about this is the fan doesn’t seem very strong. Install is super simple and looks great.

Great for the price .. only thing I had to by a plug for the wall I did not pay attention to for that .. but installed it and worked great .. and looks really good .. wife loves it that’s all that matters ..

Junk. Don’t buy.First one I bought was sent to me used (even though I bought new). It was scratched up and one of the buttons was stuck in (the on position).So I returned it and reordered the same thing. Second one arrived and looked new. We installed it. It’s now been 2 weeks since install (but 40 days since purchase) and two of the buttons are also stuck on the on position.Now you know why it’s cheap. Wish I’d never installed it. Now I’ll have to spend considerably more to uninstall, buy a different brand, and install new one. Wish I could still return it.

This unit may have been a factory refurbushed unit, The protective plastic was not on the hood, and the staineless finish had dull spots as if it wasn’t polished properly, The rear damper for the exhaust was also missing. All in all, it functioned as expected and looked pretty good even with the blemishes. If this was a refurbed unit, it should’ve been listed as such and not have a new unit price.

Love it so far! I use it on my kitchen island and it keeps the smoke under control. You can still smell your food a little (which I don’t mind), but it’s nothing like before — no haze or burnt smell afterward.The 3-speed settings are well designed — low for light cooking, medium for everyday use, and high when frying or searing. I highly recommend this portable range hood. When I cook steak or anything that requires high heat, the next thing I know, I’m receiving a call from my alarm company to ensure I’m not burning the house down, which I appreciate nonetheless. However, this can get a wee bit annoying. I came across this and saved it, then when Prime hit, I was notified that there was a better price. So, I pounced, and let’s say, it worked greatly! I used it in my kitchen, of course, and the noise was no louder than the top range. So it didn’t add any obnoxious news whilst cooking. AND, the best part… the alarm did NOT go off. The portable hood is easy to clean (wipe down) and works as needed. I recommend this product if you need extra suction power for high-heat cooking.

We bought an older home that does not have an exhaust fan over the stove and no room for one to be installed, so we bought this! We just set it on the side of the stove and it works perfectly. You can actually see the steam heading towards it!As far as noise goes, it’s equivalent to a range hood with an exhaust fan.

Well, it does remove the smoke. But one of the layers of the filter, warped and fell off. Actually that happened on both of the filters so I’m not exactly sure why that happened. I just used it without that third layer. I’ve used the machine less than five times. I think it works for what it’s supposed to do. I cooked shrimp and it kept the shrimp smell out. I checked the oil container and no oil has been collected yet. I tried to look and see if there was a place. I could order a replacement for the filter contraption that fits in the machine and I was unable to find that so I don’t know if it’s OK if I run it with one layer missing we’ll see what happens.

This fan is amazing! It works better than I expected.

Our above the stove microwave doesn’t do anything at all as far as a vent, and I got this to hopefully cut down on the room filling with smoke from cooking on cast iron and all the smells that linger as well. It is working very well so far. Nothing really collects in the oil collection tray but the filter seems to catch a lot, so I’m glad a replacement was sent for when it’s time. It does need to be close to the food in order to suck up the smoke, and it’s pretty loud, but I don’t see how you’d get away from that no matter what. Generally happy with ease of use and suction. So far so good!

I bought this product in June. Today is mid-October. It’s been 4 and a half months and the product mesh and polymer filters are all bent out of shape and I cannot put them back into the range hood due to their bent shape. I reached out to the seller because the return window has now closed, but I received no response. I reached out again a week later and still – SILENCE! NOTHING! Crickets! Then, couple of weeks later Amazon reached out to me and asked whether I heard back from the seller and whether my issue was resolved. I explained to Amazon that no, the seller never got back to me, and no, my issue was not resolved. After that another two weeks went by – still SILENCE! NO response! Finally I called Amazon customer service to complain because this is ridiculous! Sellers should be accountable for the faulty products they sell! Terrible service! Unacceptable actions! Just shameful! Do NOT buy! You’ll just end up stressing yourself out trying to get a sensible solution for a VERY quickly breakable item. It’ll last you 6 months (BIG MAY BE) if you’re lucky. For a product costing over $100 – NOT worth it. Spend your money elsewhere!

Came perfect and well packaged but I don’t know why they would cut these at 29 1/2 inches when all standard cutouts for appliances are at 30 inches. We had to do some extra trim around the tile and the cabinets to make it look like it was custom. The stainless steel itself is great quality, has a really good look and it protects my wall. We will see how it holds up to everyday cooking but as long as I don’t take a scrubbing pad to it, I think it will keep its shine and look. Happy with my purchase but wish it were an actual 30×30 piece.

great range hood with strong airflow, I have a Smog detector at home that came active with even a Bit smog, but this range help to flow smog out of home, because of its great suction power.

This range hood is a perfect fit for our remodel and we were very impressed with the easy installation.

The media could not be loaded. Upon unboxing you quickly realize why it is much cheaper than the competition. Instructions and templates are almost useless as the English is terrible. The product itself works well. The light is okay, I wish it could be brighter. I cook mostly on the back burners closest to the wall now, as they sit directly under the vent. The vent has great suction but the suction isn’t dispersed to the front burners very well. Installing the cover that goes over the vent pipe it tedious work, I gave up and used self tapping sheet metal screws. I also don’t recommend using the supplied flex duct. That becomes a fire hazard 10 years down the road when grease inevitably accumulates in each wrinkle. Instead I reduced the vent size from 6” to 4” and used smooth wall snap duct from the big box store. Much easier to work with and gives you more pride in your work for going above and beyond. I didn’t have a vent through the ceiling before and I didn’t want to hole saw a 6” hole as that would’ve landed me directly on a stud above the ceiling. If I was a tad more wealthy I would’ve bought a higher end fixture, but this works just as well.

DO NOT waste your money in this. Not worth it, I had it professionally installed and he said it was one of the cheapest crap made he’s ever installed.Spend an extra $80-120 for a good quality one.

Didn’t think I’d care about a range hood but this one’s actually really good. It’s not loud at all and looks super clean in stainless steel. My mom’s happy with it too lol.

nice, and affordable…EXCEPT the packing tape(paper) that took me 60 minutes to remove. it is horrible. will never buy from this manufacture as a result. took longer to remove tape than install unit. terrible.

Excellent quality for the money. Beautiful looking range hood, easy to install by myself, quiet as promised. It’s a little short, but works really well. We use the ductless version with charcoal filters. I do agree with other reviewers that the blue film is a pain to remove from the baffle filters.

Installation was easy – we didn’t cuss or get mad at each other not one single time. Range hood looks nice, and works well. The light is sufficient, the fan is a bit noisy, but it’s not as if it runs a long time. The logo comes with it, so you can decide if and where you want to apply it.

This hood is a well-built and functional product at a good proce point. Well designed, sturdy, easy to install with the clear instructions provided, and has a quiet but efficient fan. The filters are very easy to clean. I really like this hood. The one drawback is the light is not very powerful.

The Cosmo range hood was jus what I was looking for it looks very stylish & modern.I also like the fact that it’s quiet & clears out smoke very fast from the kitchen. Installed as a ductless range hood. Used the measurement template for under the cabinet installtion. Simple installation and usage. The push button is more reliable than the digital control. It looks elegant and has enough suction power.

Looks great, simple install, and had no issues. Only down a star because I wish the lighting was a bit brighter. Would have also been nice if it came with a carbon filter for the ductless install.

Good value. I like the slim style and that the logo badge was made to be optional. The low speed is pretty quiet. Two improvements could be made: 1) nuts and bolts, rather than screws for installation 2) stronger, less blue light.

Light is about a fish tank strength, a little dim, but it works. Range is light duty, a little flimsy, but ok for the price. Hope it lasts. Install fairly easy.

Our exhaust fan was just installed last week, and took a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to make the hand controls work (tip — swipe your hand quickly below the sensors rather than slowly), but so far I love it and it’s working exactly as it should! And I love the additional lighting it provides over the cooktop work area! It looks very high-end and streamlined. I did have a couple of questions about it and reached out to customer service. Emma from IKTCH has been so wonderful in helping resolve the issue and following up to see if installation went well and if we’re happy with the product, which we definitely are! So I’d give an additional 5 stars for the amazing customer service!

We installed the IKTCH range hood three weeks ago and it works very well. It is a little bit loud when used at the highest setting, but it works great. If used at a lower setting, it is not too noisy. We also needed to install a duct cover and Emma from customer services answered all our questions. We are very happy with the product and their customer service department.

This IKTCH range hood was an excellent choice the product performs very well as advertised and is very easy to install. I did have a minor problem with the lighting after four years of use but Emma at customer service walked me through the repair process to a successful conclusion. I couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very compact which meant it fit inside my existing custom hood vent housing. Moves air well and the light is bright. Controls are also simple. I thought I was missing the part that connects exhaust path, so I contacted the seller’s customer service. Happy with the hood vent, works as described. Looks sleek and functions as expected. So far so good. Customer service was excellent.

We are renovating our kitchen and waited a vent that we could hide inside a cabinet.This did the job! Great suction, very powerful, fit perfectly inside our 30 inch cabinet. The machine is def loud but on the lowest setting the noise is not terrible. Not hard to use but the touch less option is not great , sometimes it senses your movement but most times not so much and the light option works to the touch sometimes other times you have to press it several times before you can shut the light off . The remote that this comes with is probably the most effective way to operate the vent.

Did a lot of searching for ventilation fans while building our new home. Liked the price and features of this fan. Product is better than expected. Installed in our new home. Builder was impressed with ease of installation and quality of materials. The different features are impressive. The strength of the fan with different settings is amazing. Lighting is bright but not overpowering. And the touch less feature is a bonus, not having to touch controls with greasy hands!!

I have a 48” space which was next to impossible to find a perfect match to the old one I was replacing, so I opted for this one. I have a mobile home, so it’s not quite “spec” to today’s standards. Now it doesn’t fit exactly snug “edge to edge” like the previous one, but it still looks great and fit my vent perfectly. This shipped lightning fast, arrived with no dents and is really high quality and was super super easy to install. The fan functions great and I’m excited about the LED light, It looks great!

The item arrived in good condition and well wrapped to avoid dings. I have used it twice and the lower setting fan is a smooth quieter sound. The light works fine. I had a handy man install it, therefore can’t comment on installation however, from observation it went smoothly under the cabinet. I think it is good value and looks good.

This hood was packed with foam so it was in good condition it was very easy to install hook up to the 3 wires and put 4 screws and it’s good the only issue I had is the led light is not very bright but we will see how that works.

Stainless steel material is extremely thin and dents easily. While trying to remove plastic coating (for shipment) which is “glued” on, the metal suffered scratches as the material is razor thin and flimsy. Installation went ok but the workmanship and metal material of this product is horrible.

Nothing to complain about. Instaled easily and looks like it’s supposed to
