  • Good starter for VR, get an external head strap battery.
There was soo much anticipation and doubt with this thing before I ordered it. Now that I have used it for a while I’m rather surprised. First off, the shipping was fine, the packaging was fine, no damage and I had no issues with the price. First VR experience as a Tech freak and I’m blown away by what it’s capable of. I know since my experience is limited to this quest 3s, I’ll need a few more to compare it to. I used my roommates quest 2 and I know what I have is better in that regard. It’s great that I can run some emulators sideloaded. RetroArch runs but don’t expect gamepads to plug and play without some configuration. Ok so it runs VRchat ok. Know that there is no warning for loading certain worlds that are not optimized so the quest 3s will stutter and crash from too much going on. Last night I had to do a 10 second power button hold to restart the headset. I love watching movies with this thing. Using JBL tunes660nr. It’s Bluetooth and sounds great. The built in speakers are not bad but know that what your listening to will be heard by others in the same room on low volume. I don’t blast out at full volume often. The glasses spacer is junk. My lenses are scuffed. Your not getting prescription lenses from Zenni optical if you have progressives. They don’t support it. I’ll need to find another option and figure out how to replace the factory lenses. Build is ok, controllers need a grip set. They were made to be dropped so meta makes more money. Can’t say the wrist strap rings work well. I bought a grip set to protect controllers. I use my quest every day for three plus hours and the battery life is incredible up to a whole week on a single AA per controller. I bought rechargeable batteries… Be aware that your batteries may die without warning. Indicator will show full battery life until dead. The head strap sucks. The quest pulls forward and is uncomfortable without an external head strap battery to balance the weight. By the way, your headset battery life is 2 hours. You need to plug it in or use the head strap battery for longer use. The visuals and resolution is good. I watch YouTube at full screen with good quality. 720p is great. 1080p is a bit of a gamble with buffering possible. Look what it costs to what you get…. I got a lot for what I paid. Overall?… I’m satisfied.
  • New, reasonably priced, and it’s fun!
Love it! I had a Meta quest too, but I gave it to my grandson. This Meta quest 3S has a lot more features. I just need to learn how to navigate through them all. I am glad that I got it within the same day I ordered. The only thing that I can see is a downside I suppose is the amount of room they allow you to explore. Whereas with the other one, you could mark your space , but this one, the boundaries or limited. It’s either that or I don’t know how to expand my boundaries. Otherwise, I am satisfied with it.
  • Quest 3S.
Got it overnight with prime! Was on Black Friday deal and figured it was time for an upgrade from my Quest 2. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Well packaged and came undamaged. 10/10 this is a great Christmas or Birthday gift for teens and younger adults! This does have the same processor as the Quest 3 so it’s just as powerful. Some minor downgrades that children wouldn’t notice would be the same lenses and screen as the Quest 2. This is a very budget friendly upgrade to the Quest 2 especially if you don’t mind a lower resolution.
  • Great for people who can’t get out much!
It is amazing to use these. I watched a concert with them. The artist walked right up to the camera, and it felt like she was just inches from me. She looked completely real. These are great for elderly also. It allows them to look all around the world as if they were there. You can set it so you can use it sitting down, without any risks of falling or crashing into something.
  • Least expensive VR experience for a newbie to VR
Total newbie to VR but damn this is great! Not much of a gamer so mostly roller coasters and travel simulators but do occasionally interact with ppl all over the world. Not for me except if they want to ride a coaster or parasailing along with me.,My only complaint is that the headset burns through a full charge in about an hour of play, used on on my longer chargers but that’s awkward bc it’s on my left hand side & my outlet is on the right; not a big deal but o did buy their cord for the headset and maybe put the outlet on my L side so not to trip on it during my movements. I think it’s amazing! i toured places i’ve never been, love it. So realistic and immersive

  • A really great general gamer user experience.
I’ve had this VR head set now for about a year and a half and have enjoyed every moment using it with DCS and Microsoft F.S. I don’t play regularly and am not a ‘professional’ gamer at all.It is a little finicky in switching it via Meta Link to get full screen of the sims in the VR but once done it works perfectly.I do want to mention that I could be missing something when switching to VR full screen for the sim programs that can be done seamlessly if so, please post some guidance.
  • Retirees don’t hesitate
I’ve wanted to go VR since playing Beat Saber on my son’s gaming system three years ago, but the cost was prohibitive along with just plain getting it operational without an electronics degree:) After three days playing with Quest 3, I’m a happy camper-literally. I’m able to upload additional songs as the Beat Saber library is limited. I ordered after-market hand controller grips due to gripping issues and sweaty palms over extended periods of time. I’ve not tested the larger assortment of available games yet; I’m completely chuffed with Beat Saber—so far worth the price.
  • A Leap Forward For Mixed Reality
I owned the original Oculus Rift and upgraded to the Meta Quest 3. It was a big leap forward for me.— TRACKING —Gone are the days when you had to have fixed sensors in your room with a fixed play area. Now, you can bring this anywhere and play wirelessly, with or without a computer. Just the fact that I don’t need sensors is a win. The tech packed into this can detect your surrounding environments quickly and easily. It even tracks your hands and you can navigate with just your hands using gestures similar to an iPad/iPhone.— SCREEN —The screen is a big improvement over previous generations, including Meta’s Pro model. The colors are vibrant, the sharpness is perfect, and getting your head in the sweet spot is much easier. I advise using an app to measure your eye distance (like Eye Measure), and then you can adjust the lenses to suit your exact eye distance for optimum viewing comfort.— STORAGE —I got the 512GB because I was torn about their pricing model. I didn’t want to underdo it so I spent the extra money so I had more space, even if I didn’t know if I would need it. Frankly, 256GB would’ve been perfect for me personally at the moment.— WIRELESS PLAY —The games runs off the headset—if you buy games from the Meta Quest store. They do run more expensive and the sales are okay when they’re there. If you have been buying VR games on Steam, you can run them wirelessly with SteamVR as long as your computer’s graphics card is compatible. You can also physically connect a USB-C cable to a computer to play your games.— GAMES —Games feel like an elevated Nintendo 64 at the moment. The tech is there, we just need higher-quality textures and more AAA games when the masses start pouring in. Most games seem to have a stylized polygonal quality to them, and few games are going for a realistic look. Currently, I would say the quality of games is good enough for where the technology is at the moment in terms of the processing power that’s in the headset at this price point. One of the great things is Asgard’s Wrath II is included free with purchase and this is one of those games that takes full advantage of this headset’s capabilities. You also get a 6-month free trial of Quest+, which is two pre-selected curated games per month for as long as you’re a member; you lose those games when you cancel, but if you subscribe again your library will be there.— APPS —Besides games, you can use different apps with this. I use Virtual Desktop to access my 3D movie files on my computer, plus other media I have. I can also access my SteamVR games this way as well. Then there are media consumption apps like Amazon and Netflix. Explore and you’ll find useful things to install.— MIXED REALITY —This is part of the future of gaming, baby. Having a big play space at home combined with a mixed reality game is one of the most fun experiences to have. This is also similar tech in Apple’s Vision Pro. There are a couple of free games included, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds in this growing game category.— BATTERY —The battery lasts on average about two hours. For me, that’s great because I generally get a little dizzy before that period so the headset will die before I get fully nauseous. VR dizziness is a real thing and I advise that if you start feeling some type of way, to stop sooner rather than later. I would build up your brain’s tolerance to VR slowly. If you get dizzy, start timing how long it takes. Take a day off and try to add 10 minutes or so in the next session, until you can go longer. If you are one of the lucky few who are not affected by dizziness, you can plug this into a wall while playing and it will charge while you play. In theory, you could play non-stop with the right cable and charger.— SUMMARY —If you haven’t gotten into VR yet, try it out in the stores. If you like it, then definitely get the Meta Quest 3. If you’re unsure, you could wait for a price drop hopefully around Christmas of 2024.
  • best all-around VR headset.
perfect all-around vr headset. resolution is perfect for the device. I use it tethered to the PC all the time. sadly it does NOT come with the PC link cable. also the setup is so lengthy and boring and you can’t skip it. packaging is unexpectedly nice. battery lasts long enough, you will have to keep charging it though for very long gaming sessions. It’s very light and feels cheap but that’s fine.Again, best all-around vr headset.for sure more worth it than the apple vision pro. I would know
  • Awesome Headset With Some Flaws
Update 2: It took over 2 months of frustration for me to finally get a replacement for my malfunctioning headset. They acknowledged their lack of quality customer care by giving me $130 Meta store credit. I can tolerate screwups and things going wrong as long as things are made right in the end, so I’m putting this back up to 4 stars. It’s not perfect, but I love this headset.Update: My headset started to have a problem where in some spaces it wouldn’t detect some of one of the controllers buttons. I went through talking with customer service several times about this. Every time I got disconnected and even though I would put in a reference number they gave me I would have to explain everything from the beginning to a new person every time and they kept making me do the same trouble shooting over and over again. After several days and many hours of this they said I would get sent a new one, then that got screwed up somehow I guess. It’s been over a month now since I started going through this. Nobody on their side has any information on what is going on or how much longer this will take. Every single time I try to email them for info I get a different clueless person with absolutely nothing to tell me other than people are working hard to solve this for me. To me nothing will cause you to lose stars here more easily than bad customer service and Meta has about the worst, so this thing went from 4 to 2 stars over this stupid BS. I wish I had just returned it and bought another one instead of dealing with this annoying crap.I love this headset for the most part. It’s not quite the game changer the Quest 2 was, but it is still a solid generational improvement. I went with the 512GB one even though I feel fairly extorted having to choose between paying an extra $150 or having to deal with swapping out apps all the time due to very low drive space. Quest 2 was only $50 extra for 256GB which was great. By the time I get all the accessories to make this thing more comfortable I’ll probably have a little over $800 into it. Compared to the about $450 I had for a fully decked out Quest 2 with lots of aftermarket accessories I’d say we are entitled to some fairly high expectations. Also on that note I will say that if you’re tight on cash Quest 2 is still a great option because this doesn’t really have very many must have features right now. Perhaps once the software catches up with the hardware, but I kind of expect the quest 4 to be around the corner from whenever that happens. I’m somewhat of an enthusiast and I’ve blown more money in stupider ways than this, so I’m on board. The Good-I like how it is thinner and sits with a better center of gravity. It makes a big difference with how it sits on your face and I’m sure when I get an after market headstrap it will be much more comfortable.-The higher resolution, the pancake lenses, the higher refresh rate, the wider field of view. These are all things that are easy to write off as minor, but then you realize how much of a difference these are making when you put a Quest 2 back on. Things look very nice and very clear. I’m sure it will only get better as more and more apps add updates to them. So far the updated apps I have tried are a very noticeable improvement. However I have to mention that since they didn’t use OLED this time around I still notice the lack of true blacks and a fair amount of bloom in some circumstances.-The speakers sound pretty darn good. There are actually 4 this time around and they do a good job with 3d audio.-I like the feel of the new controllers and the tracking actually seems a little better during some of the more intense moments of some of the faster paced games like Pistol Whipped.-I’m a bigger fan of color passthrough and AR than I thought I would be. I would say that it’s still in the early days of this tech though. Pass through is still producing a fairly low res image with lots of warping and distortion. You can’t make out text on your computer monitor or phone unless you get extremely close, but it is clear enough to watch a show while you put together a puzzle in one of the apps that’s been updated for AR like Puzzling Places and Cubism. The Bad-The two biggest things are probably how uncomfortable this is out of the box (I can’t wear it for more than an hour before it starts to cause me pain that gets progressively worse to the point of being unbearable) and the battery lasts less than 2 hours most of the time. Sometimes even less than an hour and a half if you’re using pass through. I personally don’t mind this and even prefer it if it means a much lighter headset because I use BoboVRs halo headstrap with hot swappable battery.-They left out some improvements that seem odd to me because they wouldn’t have cost much especially when you consider the substantial price increase from the Quest 2. The microphone still sounds pretty crappy which is odd considering how Meta seems to be pushing the social aspects of VR pretty hard, bluetooth headphones still have too much lag to use, and there isn’t as much RAM as people were expecting which would have come in handy for a lot of things including more multitasking.Things I’m Looking Forward To From Metas Next Headset-Obviously a better mic, less bluetooth latency, more RAM.-Pretty much the stuff the Pro had that they left out here like OLED and face and eye tracking.-clearer AR. It works pretty good here, but I can tell the next iteration is going to make how this AR looks now seem like low res old tech.

  • So Comfortable!
I just got this today and I am absolutely floored at how comfortable it is! I’ve been using a VR headset since 2020, when I bought the Quest 2. When I ordered it, I also ordered a headstrap, since I had read that the one that came with it wasn’t very good. So, I bought a head strap that had the strap go over the top of my head, from back to front. It worked fine, but I could only use the Quest 2 for 2, maybe 3 hours at most because of the preasure from the strap, along with the weight of the headset set on the bridge of my nose caused headaches and discomfort. If I adjusted it a bit, I could usually get a little more time out of it, but the discomfort would always return. When I got the Quest 3, I bought a very similar strap, but added a battery pack to it, that strapped onto the cover head strap (towards the back. This actually helped relieve some of the weight on my nose, but it then put more pressure on the overhead strap, whichever cause the headaches to come faster. I thought that was just the price I had to pay, if I wanted to use the Quest 3. Fast forward to thus past week and I was on Amazon, just looking around and I saw this head strap. I had always wanted to try it, but I never thought it would be worth the higher price. We’ll, I had some point saved up on my credit card, so I figured I’d grab it and see.WOW!!!! What a difference. I just spent 2 and a half hours casually using the Quest 3 and once I found the right angle and tighness, I never once felt any pressure on my head, or on my nose! I couldn’t believe how comfortable I felt! My only regret now, is all the hours I’ve missed using the usine the Quest 3 because I didn’t have the right headstrop!!!I can’t recommend this enough! I don’t about the battery life yet because I had to quit early. If I have any problems with anything, I’ll be sure to update this review. However, I’m as happy as I can be right now and can’t wait to get back on as soon as possible!
  • Pretty impressed
I don’t write reviews for all of the items I buy on here. I expect a lot of the items I purchase on Amazon to be borderline consumable. I had read good things about this headset and its comfort, I get hot playing, it seemed like a product worth trying. It kind of nailed it, it fit well, is easy to adjust, can be used by a wide range of head sizes. The fan is a lifesaver to me and should just be a standard purchase for headsets in my opinion now. It’s ugly, but performance wise I think the design fits. If you play with the adjustments I feel it really cradles the back and lower part of my head. Balance the weight with the battery pack and you lose that feeling of the headset pulling or falling forward with the weight. The headset feels solid, and has survived pre-teen use too.So here is the *After about a year the battery died, honestly I had been kind of bummed. I expected the longevity to be a little better for the price point, but I was still not super upset because at the end of the day I didn’t follow best practices for charging and storing. I was crunching numbers for the price of a new battery and was about to pull the trigger, thinking well if I do a better job and get two years out of the next one, honestly the buck and a half a month would have been worth it to me. The headset really fit me well.Anyways before I hit buy I reached out to BoboVR and with a few emails on my part and superb customer service on their part, a new battery was on the way. I think they correctly diagnosed why my battery failed but they still very quickly honored their warranty. Communication was fast given the massive time zone differences, the communication was clear and easy to understand. Given it was an amazon purchase, finding a good vendor for what can arguably be a consumable product can be hard. Now not only am I happy I chose to try the product, they did something pretty rare and earned a repeat customer. I will now be purchasing their battery and dock that allows you to use the battery packs as portable stations. The form factor and dual use with my headset make it one of the better values in a battery pack to me.
  • Comfort, Power, and Cooling — The Ultimate Upgrade for Quest 3!
I’ve been using the BOBOVR S3 Pro Battery Strap for a few weeks now, and honestly, it completely transformed my Meta Quest 3 experience. The comfort difference is night and day compared to the stock strap — the halo design evenly balances the weight around my head, and it no longer feels like the headset is pressing on my face during long sessions. The 10,000 mAh battery pack is a powerhouse. I can easily play 3–4 extra hours without plugging in, and the magnetic quick-swap design makes it simple to change batteries if needed. The magnetic connection feels strong and secure, not flimsy like some third-party accessories I’ve tried before. One of my favorite features is the built-in cooling fan. It really helps during longer sessions, keeping the headset and my face cool. The fan has adjustable speeds and isn’t too loud, though if you’re watching a quiet movie, you might notice a faint hum.Build quality is excellent — everything feels premium and well-thought-out. The only small downside is that it’s bulkier than the original strap, and it doesn’t fit in my compact travel case anymore. But honestly, the comfort and battery life trade-off are 100% worth it.

  • Helpful tips to get the most of of the M3
I bought this for my Quest 3 even though I read some reviews about the battery making noise, battery dying very quickly, and not keeping the headset actually fully charged. I can say I have experienced all of these and there are ways to reducing the negatives and get a better experience with this.I have also bought the M2 Plus combo with charging base and 2 batteries and the same for the Pico 4 just so I can have spare batteries and the ability to charge 4 batteries at once since there are some game sessions I can play for 8-12 hours straight (simulation driving/racing/flying) and don’t want to fiddle around with hooking up a charging cable to my headset while I wait for the batter(y/ies) to charge. Onto how to control the issues.Battery drains really quick:This one and the headset not staying charged while battery is attached fall under almost the same category of causes, but I’ll keep them separate. So the B2 batteries can put out a max of 15w of power, but the Quest 3 when it is at 100% usage could pull a total of 18w of power. So trying to use less power will get you better battery life out of the B2. Turning off 120hz refresh rate, turning the brightness down, and limiting passthrough usage will help get the longest battery life. If you calculate it out, the B2 has 26 Wh of power, and the battery saying the max output it can do it 15w means that you should get roughly 1.75 hours of battery life out of the B2, but I have seen a battery drain in about an hour and my average is about 1.5 hours of battery life out of each one, so I think it is capable of putting out more than the 15w it says it can. When it does drain down faster, it does get warmer.Headset battery doesn’t stay full when using B2:This is to be expected if the headset is working at 100% load. Since the headset can use 18w (have seen people say, and I can verify, it can pull a total of 23w when plugged into a charger/battery pack) and the battery pack only being able to supply 15w of power, the headset will need to use some of its own battery to provide enough power when under a heavy load. With my above suggestions for extending the battery life, I have done all of those except turn down the brightness, and when streaming games from my computer with Virtual Desktop at 90hz to the headset, after using 2 B2 batteries, my headset is at about 80-86% battery when the 2nd B2 beeps when it is drained. I usually don’t see the headset go below 80% battery level when using the 3rd battery or 4th battery, but if you work the headset hard enough and long enough with a bunch of B2 batteries, it could eventually drain the headset all the way down to almost empty.Battery making noise:I notice that my batteries make some what of a noise (like coil whine from a GPU under heavy load) when I am playing games directly from the headset, but if you have the volume up to about 75% or more, the game drowns out the buzzing. When I am using Virtual Desktop to stream games from my computer, every once in awhile I hear the slightest buzz from the battery, but if I’m not paying attention to it, I forget it is even there. Also as soon as you start playing anything from the speakers, it instantly over powers the noise of the buzz. When not in any apps and just using the menu of the Quest 3, I don’t hear any buzzing at all from the B2 since I think the headset isn’t pulling enough juice from it to cause the noise.Overall, I am very happy with my M3 head strap. It is much more comfortable the then original head strap and even the elite head strap since it takes the pressure off the front of your face and moves it to your forehead. Like I said above, I love it so much that I bought the M2 Plus bundle and the Pico 4 bundle just to get the batteries and chargers. I gave the M2 to a buddy who has the Quest 2 and the Pico 4 I just have sitting aside doing nothing, just so I can have 2 charging stands and a total of 5 batteries (1 with M3, 2 with M2 bundle, and 2 with Pico 4 bundle) and everything in the end being cheaper than buying the batteries and charging stand on their own.EDIT: just putting the edit here and not changing anything above. It ended up costing me $10 more total to buy the 2 extra head strap bundles than to buy the chargers and batteries separately, but with how much of a backorder everything is with BOBOVR right now, I was willing to pay the $10 extra to get what I wanted in 2 days instead of 2 to 4+ weeks.
  • Epic Improvement
I am brand new to VR. I went to a VR adventures place with some friends and we were all sweating and huffing by the end of the game and I realized VR is a pretty fun way to be active. So I bought a META3 and I read the reviews of people not really loving the default headstrap. Being the perfectionist that I am, I started researching lots of headstrap upgrades for the META3. I finally decided on this one and I have to say I have zero disappointments. Is it 100% perfect? No. And I’ll tell you what few nitpicky things I wish it did better. But first, the good. The GOOD* MASSIVE improvement over the original headstrap. The top strap combined with more weight on the back does an almost magical job of making the whole headset feel lighter on your face and require less effort to turn your head left or right, up or down.* The rear adjustment wheel. I love that thing!! Makes it SO easy for anyone in my family to easily slide the headset on, lower the back till it sits comfortably near the base of your skull, and then turn the wheel to tighten the whole thing up till it fits snug and comfy.* Installation. I’m a perfectionist and I do read instruction books and watch videos to make sure I am not messing anything up. But installation is mostly a snap. Two minor hiccups I’ll cover later, but overall, I still would say installation is good. Also, a lot of videos show the user taking the faceplate off to install. If you are like me and that makes you nervous, rest assured, you do NOT need to take the faceplate off. This strap installs just fine without having to take anything apart on your META3.* PRICE. I saw headstraps that were MUCH more expensive than this, so I was a little hesitant, because usually the saying is true, you get what you pay for. In this case, you’re just making off like you stole it! Price is very affordable especially compared to other “elite” headstraps that cost much more and have poorer customer reviews. The NEUTRAL* The battery pack. To be honest, I haven’t used it. I like the idea that it comes with an additional battery to let you keep gaming longer, but the reviews talk about a loud buzzing if you are trying to charge it while playing. And the tech specs show that you won’t even get the full advertised 2 hrs out it, probably closer to 1 – 1.5 hrs. Still, that’s better than nothing, and putting the battery on the back is easy and magnetically snaps on, you can literally do it with your eyes covered. If the buzzing bothers you, there are workarounds I saw online. End of the day, if your priority in getting a new headstrap is longer battery life, there are probably better battery solutions out there from different headstraps and neck batteries. But as a free add-on to a more comfortable headstrap and gaming experience, it’s a nice little bonus. The WISH IT WERE BETTER* Installation. I know I know, I said installation was good. But there is ONE step in the process that was a kind of a pain to me. The short velcro strap that attaches to the forehead part of the facemask can be tricky to thread into the new headstrap. If you look online people will share what worked for them. And here some people do say taking the eyeplate off the mask does make it easier. I wouldn’t know since I didn’t want to take that off my mask. Some people recommend using tweezers or other fine instruments. Its tricky, not gonna lie. But just get creative, or even try taking the faceplate off. It’s doable, trust me!* Parts. The box comes with two gel pads that are not mentioned or addressed in any of the instructions and most of the online videos I looked up. I’ll save you the trouble and confusion. The gel pads are alternate pads to the velcro sort of foam-leather pads that come with the headstrap. You can remove the foam-leather pads and put on the gel pads if you like the feel of that better. I personally didn’t like it better so for me, the headstrap was perfect right out of the box. But it would be nice if the instructions mentioned it so you’re not left wondering if you missed a step somewhere. So yeah. The good to me far outweighs any of “the bad” on this headstrap. Can’t speak to whether it’ll hold up well over time or not, but I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and I’m a very happy camper. It stays on me snugly for everything from passively watching immersive videos sitting down to actively boxing and ducking and weaving in the Supernatural fitness app. Incredibly comfortable to wear, very well priced, and hands down an improvement over the original headstrap. Highly recommended!
  • Goodbye headaches and facial pressure
Maybe I just have the perfect shaped head for this thing (doubt it). This is by far the best purchase I’ve made for my quest 3, as far as accessories go. I’ve seen lots of reviews on here saying the halo strap is uncomfortable. I personally think they are nitpicking. I have a pretty big head, and struggle to find hats I enjoy. This headstrap tho? It fits my head perfectly. To make it even better, it makes showing someone VR so much easier. No more adjusting straps for them and pulling their hair in the process. Just a quick turn of the knob and it’s in place. If you are still using the original strap. This will be a massive upgrade to you. GOODBYE HEADACHES!!
  • It’s good but there is better
It’s alright, but miles better than the stock head strap. Slips a bit during use, needs adjustment every few minutes. Haven’t tried the silicone honeycomb pads though so I can’t comment on that. Those appear to have more grip.Battery only provides around an hour of extra use for me with Virtual Desktop, would require more batteries for continued usage or tethering to a charger. Went ahead and opened a return so I can get the S3 model with the bigger battery pack. There is an adapter to use the b100 batteries on this headset, but that brings the total cost to beyond the price of an S3 strap. So unless you have a lot of b2 batteries already, better to get the S3 IMO.

  • Very well designed, great fit for Quest 3
Overall a very good product, considering it costs a fraction of Meta’s OEM case and does about the same.Efficient use of space with minimal volume when packed including the headset, controllers, power supply and cable. So it’s a great way to keep things organized. The lens protector is a great addition, Meta should have thought of it themselves and provided one (but they haven’t).Material quality is good but nothing fancy, so don’t expect to show off to Apple design fans. Two things I’m not sure of are sturdiness and the level of protection. No internal padding, soft shell and tight packing mean that I wouldn’t trust this to protect against drops from any height or even tossing it in a trunk full of travel bags. Also the case material itself doesn’t look like it’s meant to endure more than a safe clean indoor environment.Bottom line: Very good design and VFM for the purpose of keeping the device tidy and clean at home, and occasionally carry it somewhere safe.
  • Great price for quality
Nice, solid but bigger than expected. It fits perfect but for some reason in my head I thought it was smaller lol.Would recommend
  • Carry Case
Excellent Carry Care for my grandsons VR headset would 10/10 recommend.
  • Great case
Controllers fit weirdly in the case but once you shuffle it around then it fits just fine. I definitely recommend this case if you’re looking to product your VR.
  • Love this case for my Vision Pro
I was very pleasantly surprised at what a great solution this inexpensive case turned out to be for traveling with my Vision Pro. Apple wanted to charge me $200 for a similar solution, and I’m glad I chose to test out this great alternative.Very simple construction and was made originally to protect an Oculus Quest or similar goggles, but the dimensions are perfect for my Vision Pro, and the body of the case provides enough crush resistance that its a good solution for travelling with my Vision Pro with this tucked in the carry-on backpack.I’ll point out they include this soft black piece that you can fit inside the light seal to protect the lenses of the device. This is a great add, and I’m going to use it day to day when I put the device on my desk to protect from dust and potential contact. You can put the Vision Pro into the case by simply unsnapping the elastic retention strap, There is plenty of room for cables and the battery. But keep a couple of ties or rubber bands in the case to keep the cables contained. The retention straps to fit the battery and the USBC charger for the Vision Pro, but the battery is a tight fit. However, its position locks in the back of the head strap and stabilizes the device in the case.Overall, wonderful and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
  • Compact, tough and survives my whoopsoments.
The case is lightweight but tough enough to protect my VR gear from… well, my life. My headset survived being tossed into a bag crammed into a car with a family of five’s worth of luggage on a 12-hour trip—like a champ. Over a year later, after plenty of bumps and “oops” moments, the case still has no rips, dents, or drama, and my headset looks flawless. It’s compact but magically roomy enough to fit my extra-padded advanced head strap while still attached, which honestly feels like a small miracle.
  • Sturdy case
Very nice case for the price. I have dropped my oculus while it was in the case and it was fine. The case has a hard outer and is designed to hold the oculus perfectly.
  • A must buy????
Excellent case. Very sturdy and modern. Im confident this case will keep my son’s headset and controllers safe. The product is nice to touch. The product serves it purpose. The product smelled like new!

  • Comfortable Face Cushion!
Came in quickly and was super easy to put on the VR headset. I was honestly surprised at how simple it was to set up because usually accessories can be tricky, but this one took no effort at all. Once on, it makes such a huge difference in comfort. You can spend hours using your VR and not feel the usual pressure or heaviness on your head. The fit is secure, snug, and it stays in place the whole time without sliding around, which really adds to the experience. The material feels high-quality and durable, so I know it’s going to last me a long time. Even after wearing it for long sessions, it doesn’t cause strain or soreness like other straps or headpieces I’ve tried before. I also really like how lightweight it feels while still giving really solid support. Adjustments are quick and easy, so it works well no matter your head size, and it makes the VR experience more enjoyable overall.
  • Much More Comfortable Than the Original!
Got this face cushion pad as a replacement for my son’s Meta Quest 2, and it’s so much better than the original foam piece it came with. The PU leather feels soft and comfy, and it’s easy to clean, definitely a plus for kids who use it often. It fits perfectly and stays in place, making the headset way more comfortable. Great quality for the price!
  • Amazing comfort and better durability
The cushion pad the headset came with began leaving black residue on my face. I’ve had this headset for a couple of years so deterioration doesn’t surprise me, but it was very inconvenient and irritating my skin. But now with this new cushion pad it won’t only be easier to clean (gently). But it feels a lot better too. Some people have an issue with no “nose” support. But it honestly feels a lot better without it there. This is an upgrade for sure (haven’t tested it for long periods of time yet but ANYTHING is better than the material it came with)
  • Good
Kinda smaller but def does the job
  • Fits great comfortable
The one that came with our oculus had a beating and this one fit great! No more falling off and asking me to fix it
  • Replacement pad
    Works great
  • Works OK, but do not expect a full padded soft pad like the original
Leaves a light gap at the bottom half of mask and not a clean face fit. It works ok and is easy to install, but I miss the full padded original version. this has small & limited padding.
  • Great upgrade piece for oculus!
I have the original Oculus that came with the foam insert. Switched to this…love it! It’s easy to wipe down, keep clean. Comfortably soft!

  • Extreme comfort and a massive upgrade overall
This strap upgrades this headset so much. I didn’t think buying an aftermarket strap would be that big of a difference but it makes a huge difference in comfort. I can actually play games more than 30 min now without my neck feeling like it needs surgery., it’s even comfortable when watching movies and resting my head on my recliner. Overall I would’ve loved to get the version with the battery but I already have a battery attachment and it fits perfectly on the strap so I’m very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it
  • Great for fast and easy set up and comfort
Huge improvement over the standard headset. Makes for quick adjustments between my kids and myself. My 9 year old daughter has no trouble reaching back and adjusting the tightness. Quality is great. Didn’t take much to figure out how to remove the original band and replace with this one.
  • Buy it!
But it! I think meta made a huge mistake by not offering this in their original package! I mean it feels so much better in terms of experience.
  • Massive upgrade over the default strap
Significantly more comfortable. Downside is that it interferes with headphones slightly but I can live with that tradeoff.
  • Significant improvement over original strap
very comfortable and easy to install. Helps keep the unit comfortable and in place for longer gaming sessions. Personally, I add a battery pack (via some Velcro straps) to the back to provide additional counter balance to the heavy headset. But my wife prefers this strap without the battery.
  • K4 Headstrap
    Our grandson loves it.
  • No more head strap induced headaches
The stock head strap for the Meta Quest 3 is insufficient. It puts unnecessary strain on one’s suboccipital muscles, leading to neck strain and headaches. The Kiwi Head strap is what the Quest 3 should’ve come with out of the box. It’s a night-and-day difference. The padding does an excellent job cushioning these muscles and the end result is a much more comfortable VR experience.
  • Tuff headset strap

  • Compatible with Edge!
I had a Razor stand, but when I bought the Edge gamepad, I had to charge it with a cable because it didn’t fit in the Razor stand. I’m happy I found this one!
  • this is a no brainer
everyone knows the ps5 controller does not last long at all and the usb-c charging port stopped working and wouldn’t charge my controller, this saved my life and works perfect.
  • … 360 controllers for a couple of years and always loved the convenience of being able to leave the controllers …
I had a Nyko drop-in charging cradle for my Xbox 360 controllers for a couple of years and always loved the convenience of being able to leave the controllers in the cradle when not in use and have them available with a full charge at any time. Alas, the relatively short battery life compared to rechargable AAs eventually made me give up a little convenience for the much longer battery life.I never saw any need for something of this nature with my PS3 controllers, as their 30-hours on a charge battery life made charging the battery a once a week at most affair. The 4-hour charge of the Dualshock 4 is a different story. An easy to use daily charging solution was needed. For awhile I used a 4-port USB hub located on the table next to my seating area, but the frequent use of the micro-USB port worried me when it came to the frequent charging required of this generation of controller.I looked at the various cradle types of chargers and found most had a feature that wasn’t to my liking. Storing a controller upside down connected to micro-USB port on the top struck me as possibly too stressful on the port, with the port seemingly supporting the entire weight of the controller and had the same frequent insertion and removal of the USB cable as a potential problem. Perhaps this isn’t an issue and I’m worrying where it isn’t warranted, but the upside down positioning also seemed . . . inelegant. The Nyko drop in charger appealed due to its familiarity with a product I liked a lot, but the dongle constantly attached to the USB port looked ungainly and caused fear of putting undue stress on the port. The PowerA port seemed to be what I was looking for. It uses the sturdier port on the bottom of the controller, the spring-loaded design allows for easy alignment without close inspection, the controllers are stored in a more attractive (to me) upright position, and it has the drop-in functionality of my old Nyko without the dongle. It works just as I hoped. Installation was easy – plug the adapter into the outlet, the micro-USB cord attached to it into the port on the bottom of the cradle, and thread the cord through the channel built into the side for that purpose. The separate components area nice touch. Lose the cord and you can substitute any micro-USB cord to replace it. Lose or damage the cradle and the cord will still function to charge the controller directly.Use is simple. Drop the controller into the cradle, press straight down until it clicks. The flashing light on the controller itself tells you the charging status (flashing yellow – charging; off – charged), so there is no need for lights on the charger itself. One last note – the Dual Shock 4 comes with a lithium battery. Unlike older rechargabley nickel cadmium batteries, lithium batteries don’t become “conditioned” by frequent charging and don’t have a “memory”. There’s no need to periodically drain them completely to refresh the battery. It’s perfectly safe to recharge them after every session and leave them plugged in (cradle down position) all the time, as the controller has a built in voltage regulator that turns off the charger when the battery is full. The spring loaded design is there to ensure that the controllers are aligned properly when seating them, not for storing without connecting to the charging port. There is no danger to storing your controllers plugged in (cradle down position) all the time, or to “topping off” the charge after a relatively short charging session. You do not have to drain the battery between charges, and shouldn’t drain it completely. Lithium Ion Batteries are fundamentally different from the nickel cadmium batteries of some early smartphones, which would be damaged if left in the charger every night. This is not the case with any modern device with an internal battery, almost all of which now use lithium batteries. It can actually be harmful to fully drain them every session and they should be charged as soon as the “low charge” warning comes up rather than waiting for the controller to shut off completely. And to reiterate – there is no harm to charging your Dualshock 4 every day, topping it off, or leaving it plugged in all the time. None of this causes a lithium battery any damage or shortens its lifespan. There is a misconception regarding frequent charging shortening the lifespan of a battery due to frequent charge cycles. A “charge cycle” isn’t every time you charge your battery, it’s a full charge from an empty battery, or with some devices, from the point at which you get the “low battery” warning, usually at 15-20%. Thus, draining a battery halfway and recharging it is half a charge cycle.Store your lithium battery devices on their chargers while you’re not using them. It does them no harm, doesn’t shorten battery life, and you always have a full charge. Also note that if you use NIMH rechargably AA batteries, such as with a 360 or Xbox One controller, go ahead and empty those suckers completely between charges. Different technology, different usage.
  • Works but…
Works great to charging my controller. I gave it 4 stars due to it does not take into account and sleeve or skin you may have on your controller and therefore you need to take the cover off to get a true contact to charge.

  • Compact and efficient.
These are great. Much more compact than previous edition and other cases on the market. Great for me who uses the headset for work and fly with my headset often.
  • So glad I bought all the accessories for the MetaQuest
My son wanted the MetaQuest VR thing for Christmas, he’s 9 by the way, and I had no knowledge about VR games whatsoever. I only knew it was a device that you wear as if they were bulky glasses that looked like they would be heavy but I had no idea how this thing fit. So of course knowing that much about VR gaming I obviously knew that games apparently took on a life like illusion through these lenses. A type of gaming I wasn’t familiar with or interested in myself. I had no clue what they cost and cringed when I learned how much I’d have to spend on a game that I assumed was like those arcade or theme park attractions that stay in one place but send you on a dollar coaster ride through a nauseating lens. So spending hundreds on it and all the accessories made for it, had me hesitating if this was the right gift for my son. He probably had no idea that motion sickness could be an effect from this kind of gaming. I worried he would get it, try it once and never play it again because it was heavy or uncomfortable, of make he feel sick etc. I couldn’t make a confident decision fast enough so I just went ahead and bought the VR. And the way I see it, if there are specific optional accessories made on the side, then you have to buy those too. Personally speaking, I couldn’t just buy the VR headset by itself and only that. It’s gaming. These accessories aren’t required to enjoy the gaming experience I know that, but they are an option if you want to enhance your gaming experience to the best it can get. To me, this accessories and the others made for this model, are necessary. I knew going into the purchase that it would in excess of a $100 dollars on top of the lenses. I recommend you buy the extras, but if you can’t or don’t want to buy all of them, (it’s just 3 optional available), then absolutely at least buy this one. You literally are going to buy this pieces to replace the one that you bought with MetaQuest which seems ridiculous since you’re removing the strap sold with the device and probably never using it again. But my feedback on the elite head strap is 5 stars, worth paying for, it upgrades the base strap. Upgrading hardware that will sit on your head and cover your upper face, is a no-brainer. Maximum comfort makes all the difference in the gaming experience. So, if you are wondering if this will be worth buyin, or if it will make much of a difference to justify the extra cost, I saw absolutely. This strap allowed the MetaQuest to properly fit my 9 year old head. The standard strap didn’t provide a proper fit, the lenses sat more loosely on his head and you can imagine how uncomfortable that would have been when you’re trying to play. With this elite strap, the comfort is as good as it gets because this strap adjusts the fit better. Buy it, you’re probably going to be glad you did and not regret it at all.
  • Wonderful Quality
Glad I purchased the compact because it is still fairly large. It provides great protection and easy storage for the Meta Quest 3s. Keeps your space clutter free since the device is always stored away from site. Easy to travel and wonderful quality
  • Only fits with original headband
It’s a hard shell case for your quest.I didn’t much care for how your supposed to store your cable. Also, I purchased the Xbox edition quest 3, and that does not fit due to the larger headband, so I had to purchase the bigger case.
  • Great product all around. Design to performance is amazing.
Great product. Fits into existing products for charging etc. Feels natural and not heavy. Extends battery life a good a mount. Looks great esthetically as well.

  • Works great for PS4
Works great with the PS4 and controller. I was having issues with the controllers disconnecting and not staying connected. A friend mentioned I probably need a new charging cord. This one had a great price, great reviews and it works great. No more issued with controller connection. Recommend and will buy again if needed.
  • It works perfectly
It does what it says, it’s long enough to play while changing and it transfers the data as it is suppose to
  • Works great value for money
    High quality, works great
  • Durable
PowerA charging cable is durable and long for sitting farther away from the PlayStation console. You can still play while laying down and being comfortable. It charges quickly and hasn’t had any issues with damage.
  • Good quality, but one issue
Unlike unofficial brands that keep disconnecting from the computer, I’ve had zero issues with this cable. The only issue I have had is for some odd reason this cable and only this cable causes my computer to completely freeze at random if the controller is plugged in. I have to hard reboot. It’s been a problem since I got PowerA’s cable. Still trying to resolve it.

  • Perfect for ps4!
