So happy to be out from under the constantly increasing subscription fees of Microsoft 365! Plus, I did not like Copilot interference.For only $50 more than the annual fee of $99, I have everything I need for my home computer, without having to go online for some elements of word processing or to access certain documents. Plus, no more subscription fees.

No problem downloading or activating on PC Laptop. Followed instructions left on other reviews. Needed to sign into Microsoft account and then wait for the email from Amazon – “Your redemption codes for Microsoft Office…” Redeemed/Activated license on Microsoft page then downloaded and installed with no issues. Much better to own this software than pay a subscription. Can’t imagine there would have been any issues on my Mac either. Waiting for Amazon email took a couple hours but once received everything was smooth sailing.

I have used Microsoft Office on a Mac for years and love it. However, as others have said, to get Office 2024 working was a nightmare.I called tech support yesterday 3 times and was on hold for a total of over 4 hours. I was accidentally disconnected twice after holding for over an hour each time and never spoke to a technical support person.I did finally figure out on my own how to get the software up and running and wanted to share.As others have said, set up a Microsoft account if you do not have one and sign in before you make your purchase.Install went smoothy for me and since others have covered that topic, I will just cover after the install.None of the applications worked after the install.I will share an example of the fix with Word, but this process will need to be done with Excel, One Note and PowerPoint.I opened Word and clicked “Word” in the upper left corner of my Mac.From the pull down I selected “About Microsoft Word.”On the window that pops up it said “License: Not Activated”I then selected “More Info.”From that pop up window I selected “Refresh License.”This will take you to your Microsoft account to sign in.I then got an error code that said “Could Not Refresh License Error Code 44.”Thinking well that was a waste of time, I went on to do other things.About 30 minutes later I thought I would try again and to my surprise instead of the “About Microsoft Word” window saying “License: Not Activated” it said License: Office Home 2024 and everything was working perfectly.Evidentially it takes a few minutes to actually refresh the license.Hope this is helpful and saves someone else the frustration and aggravation I experienced over getting Microsoft Office Home 2024 working.

As others mentioned, I didn’t have any trouble downloading this software. Writing this review because I didn’t want others to be intimidated. (I almost didn’t buy it due to the scary reviews.) That said, I purchased it for a PC that I had just purchased, not an older PC or a Mac. And I already had my Microsoft account up and running. I hate recurring charges, so paying the one-time-fee is always my go to rather than annual subscriptions. Hope this works out for me again this time! I will revise my review if I run into any issues using the software.

For years WordPerfect has been my word processor of choice but I realize it’s a Microsoft Office world so I finally surrendered and bought the latest version of Microsoft Office Home (perpetual license) so that I can work with others who only have Word. I have to say that this office suite has come a long way from when I first dabbled with it many years ago which was when I made the choice to stick with WordPerfect (I had started with version 4 for DOS).This suite installed easily, and I find it convenient to locate things on the Ribbon even though I prefer a strictly Menu driven program. Word is still not as good a word processor as WordPerfect but it is much better these days.Excel is an excellent spreadsheet and always has been (Microsoft bought it fairly ready made years ago and has done nothing to cripple it). PowerPoint is an excellent presentations program. I’m sorry that Microsoft has seen fit to discontinue Publisher, though. Good thing that there are great alternatives such as Affinity Publisher from Serif.All in all this is a good bargain and will enable me to share files more easily with others as we collaborate on various projects.

I have used McAfee on and off over the past probably 15 years and it’s always been one of the more simpler protection softwares to use. With this you get 5 downloads or devices. You can put it on your phone but I haven’t because I don’t really see the point with an iPhone. I do have it downloaded on several of our home laptops so it’s been a great value for the money. We get VPNs if we want them, web protection, virus protection, and just the overall feeling of security. It was easy to download and even easier to perform my first scan. The scan was quicker than I was expecting and the only downside is that there isn’t any easy to pick and choose what you want to be scanned. I would also like some general cleanup tools.You do also have to sign up for a renewal, but you can cancel it right after so that it ends when this 1-year ends. Overall though it’s still a great option for protection.

I have used other anti-virus software but I prefer McAfee. This is a great price for an entire year for 5-devices. It does renew at a much higher price, and a credit/debit card is required to get this ‘introductory’ price; however, it’s very easy to cancel, just make sure to do so before your year is up. Installation is simple and can be found in your ‘software downloads’ along with the registration key. If you already have a McAfee account, it’s simple to add this subscription to it. Like almost all software these days, it does try to upsell you to other services. I do find that annoying, but it’s still not as bad as others. I also use this with Fortect to help clean the clutter almost all software bogs down your PC with. I also like the VPN feature, although it does often switch servers with absolutely no notice.

I wish I could negative stars . This purchase is a waste of time and money , in fact I want my money back! when I run a scan it comes up with recommendations and when you try to run them it directs you to a screen to buy more software , and you can’t click out of that screen. The only way to get it off my computer was to open the task manager and run the process. I have also tried to uninstall it and it won’t let me. I’ll be lodging a complaint tomorrow and try to get a refund , I’m glad I didn’t try installing it on other devices. I’ve bought McAfee thru amazon in the past and it was good , now it’s junk.

I’ve been using Norton 360 Premium 2025 for a few weeks, and it provides excellent protection for all my devices, including PCs, Macs, tablets, and smartphones. Installation was simple, and the software interface is intuitive, making it easy to manage security settings across multiple devices.Real-time protection effectively blocks malware, phishing attempts, and ransomware, while the VPN and password manager features add extra layers of security and privacy. Performance impact is minimal, so my devices continue to run smoothly. Overall, Norton 360 Premium 2025 is a reliable, comprehensive security solution for anyone needing protection across multiple devices.

One of the best Antivirus software programs you can get. This is coming from someone who has tried Malwarebytes, McAfee (never waste money on this junk), Webroot, Total Defense (not bad, but difficult to find these days), and quite a few others. Best price for 10 devices, offering a mobile version with a Password saver, VPN (you choose the location; I usually go with Japan, Netherlands, or Australia), and quick/full/custom scans.The downside to Norton 360 Premium is that they makes it sound like it’s the best they have. When there’s Norton Utilities Cleaner, driver updates, and so much more, they constantly try to promote and inflate the number of problems with your computer to get you to buy more. Just about every antivirus company will pull this kind of thing but I feel like Norton takes it to a whole new level. In fact, it’s the only reason I do not give them five stars. If you choose the Norton 360 premium and get the Norton ultimate utilities cleaner separately on Amazon or by using a free, but recurring subscription for 60 days, like I did, you can get all your computers clean of junk files and just cancel the subscription before they charge you.I do recommend the software, but I wouldn’t buy anything further because they will offer you 60 to 90 day free trials of things like update drivers, utilities cleaner, and some of their other software. Overall, it’s worth the price for 10 devices, although it isn’t as thorough on tablets and cellular devices, it’s still better than nothing. It’ll keep you on safe Wi-Fi, warn you when you’re not on the saved Wi-Fi network which comes in handy with my cell phone. I recommend getting the Email code rather than waiting for the disk, but everyone’s different. Almost forgot they do help out a lot with letting you know what information of yours is on the dark web which is nice. They also let you know how much companies are selling your information and will, on your behalf, ask those companies to stop.

It provides privacy protection that lets you know if and what information brokerages have your information and helps you request removal of it, it provides a secure VPN for unsafe wifi connections, top-of-the-line internet protection in a safe web browser, provides a top of line password, manager, up-to-date top of the line malware protection and identity protection and it does aĺ this for up m to 10 devices whether they are android, windows or chrome os, it protects all and when it went on sale for $39.99 on Amazon for 10 devices you can bet I jumped at the opportunity to get it for all my devices. Right now I have 7 devices connected to it my laptop, my Chromebook 3 cell phones, and 3 tablets and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.When I bought my other HP laptop back in November of last year it came with a year of Total Defense included so I thought okay I will install it on all my devices, I ended up disabling it on every one of them because it worked too well, preventing me from even going to my college’s official campus page and when I was ar tmobile I had McAfee and I was still hacked and just recently I got active armor through my at&t internet and wireless service and had to disable and Uninstall it on both my phone and my wifi because it was interning with both my wifi and cellular services as well as keeping me from my Norton protection.I recommend this for anyone looking for complete protection for multiple devices.

Good product as it is always working

This is an excellent program for computer security and protection, particularly because it can be used across multiple devices. The price when I bought it was very good. However, I now feel it doesn’t offer the best value or quality compared to other similar software currently on the market.

I took advantage of a special and picked this up. It had all the features I wanted, VPN, multiple device installs.VPN helps protect your computer from intruders on the internet. It helps you surf undetected, sort of, if that helps explain. The feature is fairly premium and usually you’re paying extra for it. So, I was happy about that.You get several downloads and also for mobile. I took it off my mobile because I don’t feel that I need antivirus on my phone. I also felt like the app was slowing me down, but it was probably just my paranoia.The PC app is not intrusive. Unlike many, you don’t get a lot of reminders or notifications. I actually don’t get any. That is probably good! I also don’t think it is slowing down my PC. So not having something to complain about when it comes to antivirus usually means it is good!Comparing it to other antivirus I have used, the others send you nagging messages to run this, buy that. This does none of that.I don’t use it’s web browser but I think it adequately stalks my surfing in my preferred browser, Chrome. Many legit web pages are blocked at times, so that frustrates me, but I can get around it by opening the app and whitelisting the pages. Whitelisting means to add the website name once so it is remembered by the app. You just open BitDefender, then look for the trusted websites, and Add a website name to that. Then every time you go to the website in the future, Bit won’t block it.I am happy with my purchase. I don’t think I would like to pay full price for it. But as far as ones I have used, it is the best. I would get it again on sale and recommend to a friend. It also could be a good gift to someone not so savvy with computers because there’s not really any setup unless you want to micromanage things, so it is easy for non computer geek people.

I love this product. I can connect to my gym wireless, which takes a minute, and then avoid using my wireless network. It would be better if I could download to my device at home, but you can’t have it all. I like having a trainer changing the pace of the workouts. I have a compatible treadmill, but it’s not a big deal to manually change the speed and incline.

Jan 2024 Update: *iFit didn’t resolve many of the problems listed below, but they DID increase the monthly price to use your *already purchased, expensive, warrantied* exercise equipment… The $15 month plan is worthless now… you must hand over ~$40 now just to use the HD screen and running videos on your own, purchased equipment… Another update! No, you can pay that $40 and you STILL can’t use the equipment that you purchased!Let’s start with the immediate issues: Poor integration between Amazon subscription services and iFit. You’ll place this order, and then be directed to the Subscriptions section of your Amazon account. But there will be no activation code or process visible to activate and nothing will be emailed to you. You’ll contact Customer Service and, if you’re lucky, after 30-40 minutes, and a cancel/reorder, you may get an Activation button added after some time. If some of that actually DOES work for you, expect your iFIT account to get updated to whatever plan you purchased but your account on your equipment (treadmill, bike, etc.) to STILL not update properly.As for iFit itself, very mixed reviews on that. I used it for 12 months, canceled, and now only use it during the cold months when I can’t run elsewhere. A Norditrack treadmill + iFit software have some glaring issues – subpar networking hardware OR server speeds so your “HD” screen is rarely displaying HD quality, despite top-of-line routes and gigabit internet. And your “scenic” runs through the woods or along the beach are 50% comprised of a camera staring at the back or shoulders of a trainer. Yes, that’s right, know this: you can’t enjoy iFit’s “scenic runs from around the world” on your “HD” screen without running — quite literally — staring at the back of a trainer who takes up between a good portion the screen and who talks the entire time. (I turned off my sound years ago, never turned it back on). There are other concerns, but I’ll stop there. In summary, the iFit routes combined with a suitable treadmill/bike are acceptable enough during cold weather when you can’t run elsewhere — the monthly $15 (once you fight through making the Amazon ->iFit activation work) (edit: $15 doesn’t get you access… to your own treadmill… now it’s ~$40/mo, to use your own equipment!) is probably worth that much ($15 was kinda worth it, but $40??, to use your own equipment??), but I wouldn’t recommend more, unless you want to pay the full amount and want a trainer talking your ear off and running with you and blocking your views…

As long as you follow the instructions, this works for an existing account with a lapsed family membership. I bought this for myself since my family doesn’t use our Nordic Track treadmill. Could have not been easier. Just in case you are wondering, here are the steps to follow:1) Click the “Activate” button in the email you get from Amazon. The email is delivered in less than 5 minutes.2) Create a new IFit account OR log into your existing IFit account in order to link your Amazon and IFit accounts. I logged into my existing account.3) After linking your IFit account, you will be redirected to the Subscriptions page on Amazon.Click “Access Product.”4) Log into your iFit account to verify!This automatically converted my family account to an individual account.Happy training!

My ProForm bike came with a 12 month iFit membership that expired over the holidays. I enjoy running outdoors most of the year, but hate running in cold temps. During those few months I prefer to bike indoors. The monthly subscription offered on Amazon allows me to just pay for what I need. I purchased the 1-Month Membership a few minutes ago and followed the very simple directions. I just walked down the hall and turned on my bike and the membership is already active and ready to go! Like others have mentioned, I would encourage you to do everything with a computer vs a phone. I think this made it much easier. I couldn’t be happier with the process. Typing this review took longer than it did for me to purchase and migrate the new membership to my existing iFit account.

Almost every Ifit program is locked. Only way to access is a $39.99 monthly fee. Way more than I’m looking for

My iFit membership has expired and I didn’t want to renew at the family rate because I am the only one that uses the treadmill! I found this and thought I’d give it a try. I ordered it, received an email to confirm, clicked on the link to activate it in my laptop. Once I did that, I linked it to my iFit account, turned on the treadmill and it was active. So easy!

I had this tier subscription for about 6 months, and it was worth every penny. I come back after being hurt and re-start my subscription and find that I now no longer have access to all of the workout programs on my NordicTrack 1250 unless I upgrade to a “Pro” subscription for more than twice the old sub, and the same old workouts. Not worth the huge price hike for someone that is not a hardcore athlete, and the premium price I paid for this treadmill is a waste without the seriously up-charged iFit app. I was happy with the old model, but the new model, in these times of financial uncertainty is just not worth it. Better off paying for a full gym membership and personal trainer.

This is a great way to try iFit for a month without a long term commitment. I tried this to ensure I liked the training options and could broadcast the phone app to my Samsung TVs that can’t download the iFit app and my exercise equipment that aren’t iFit capatabile. I bought the trial and waited for 5 days before activating it and I received a 12/30/23 expiraton date. Knowing that I would dither sign up for annual membership or no membership at all, I cancelled the renewal option for this montly membership. When you go into the subscriptions area of Amazon and cancel the renewal, the end date will be 30 days from your purchase date…NOT the activation date(like others have reported). So, if you wait between your purchase date and activating it, you will have wasted those days. I contacted Amazon support and they offered no help.

Bottom line, I like the Symantec/Norton malware protection I get from this product. I have been using it for a couple of decades now (in its various forms). When Norton decided to go to the “subscription” model, I was not amused, but as written in the FAQs, one can buy a new license here for much less than the automated renewal, but it comes with a minor cost: You have to install the new license, at least on one computer.Here is what I did:1) Waited to get a good deal on this SW around the Black Friday time frame (to be installed at the end of the year).2) Waited until 45 days before the old license was set to expire then went online to discontinue the automated subscription (I messed up last year and paid full price).3) Waited until the day the old subscription expired.4) Uninstalled Norton 365 on my main machine.5) Rebooted.6) Installed the latest North 365 (per the instructions) and used the new Key when prompted.7) Went into MyNorton to assign the new Key to my other machines.7a) Had to uninstall and reinstall the code on my smartphone in order to apply the new Key to it. This was the only minor issue I had.This renewed subscription is now running on all my computers and my one phone as expected!!! At the reduced cost! Piece of cake.

There are many brands of antivirus/security programs on the market but none have been around as long as Norton’s. I have use them all and I still run two more security programs at least once a month to be sure nothing is on my devices. The only one I keep running 24/7 is Norton’s 360 Premium. Also now own by LifeLock which is a top notch service. If you subscribe to LikeLock you get Norton’s for free. Otherwise this subscription is the best on the market covering ten devices including smart phones and pads. Outstanding for desktops and laptops. Does not huge memory or slow your computer. Runs lightning fast in computers with the newest chips. Protects you on the browser, too. Can be a password manager on your laptop. Runs in the background but encourage full scans at least once a month (I do weekly). Tech support is great. The first time you create an account at their website which allows you to easily download the program to any device and keeps track of which devices you are using. Also gives you reports on overall security. Easy to install and even uninstall if the need arises. The program is updated several times a day. If you leave your device running, will do automatically. Lots of notifications but not ads! The cost of this subscription is the lowest anywhere and is a bargain. This is my number one security program for over 20 years and I have tried them all or still use a few of them as a double check especially for malware and other unusual program flaws which can put you at risk. Avoid all software programs made in Russia or China. Just US made programs. This program is all you need to protect your devices and data. Do backup your data monthly. Can use a cloud service but I still backup to a hard drive monthly.

July seems to be when Norton is a steal at Amazon. I don’t have 10 devices, but I can share the registration code with someone who is not in my household. Once you enter the code during the registration process, your year starts, even if you don’t load the other licenses onto other devices for weeks or months later.This also means that if you buy several copies of the software (say, a great sale price), you can just stockpile those licenses for several years until you need them. (Personally, I wouldn’t buy more than several years worth, as a lot changes in software, and there may be dramatic upgrades that you’d want, such as new cybersecurity protections not yet developed.)1- The Big Thing: Yes, you have to use a credit or debit card, or PayPayl, to register your Norton product. (For Shame, Norton.) I don’t think it’s much protection to use PayPal to keep your private info from Norton, as both PayPal and Norton would seem to be prime targets for data hackers.2 – Canceling Auto-Renewal: As Soon as I Finished Registration, I went into the options of my account (you will have to create one if you don’t have one already), and I canceled auto-renewal. I didn’t have to call anyone (maybe Norton paid attention to the reviews here), but I did have to go through a 3-click process to cancel, as Norton tried to “pressure” me to keep the auto renewal. (Shame, Norton.) You just keep clicking that you don’t want it, and you’re done in 10 seconds.3 – Ease of setting up: The set-up link requires you to first read the Terms of Service, but then didn’t take me to the right page for entering the registration code. I went round about through various web pages, but I think logging in, if you have an account, might have been the better way to start. When I did, I finally got the text box to enter the code. (Be sure to have cookies enabled for the set up, but I did not have to disable Adblock Plus or Ghostery, another blocking app.)4 – Downloading: I already had Norton on my laptop. I did not have to do anything to the old version, including uninstalling it. Norton asks you to download the new version, and installation was very quick and problem-free. With my cable ISP, it took just a couple of minutes.5 – If this is your first time using Norton, plan a good 30 minutes to go through every option to customize your Norton product as to how you want Norton to function. It’s tedious, but after that, new installs retain your settings.6 – The most important option — automatic update: I’ve been a user of Norton for decades. I’ve never had a virus, malware, attack, or other problem. But I also play it smart and careful when I’m online, and it’s critical to keep Norton updated as cyberattacks happen round the clock. This is the only app/software that I allow to automatically update itself, which happens whenever I go online. (I do not leave my computer connected to the Internet 24/7, for security.)The update happens behind the scenes, so to speak, is quick, and never interferes with the function of my browser. I also have Norton automatically scan my computer for viruses, malware, etc. Let Norton do its job. I hope all of that helps you.

I have used Norton 360 for many years and find it easy to use and comprehensive in protecting my laptop and desktop. I like the fact that they also provide iCloud storage for my system backup. They also provide protection for my iPhone, iPad but I think these options are fairly new and have room to grow and get more robust.

I saved a ton of money buying Webroot antivirus on Amazon. Works great and easy to install!

It’s an efficient and effective antivirus program. I like that it doesn’t use a lot of pc resources and doesn’t slow up the pc when scanning. The scans are quick. Great for older pcs.

There’s a running joke in my family that Norton Antivirus is more annoying than a real virus, and I probably waste an hour or more of life a month waiting for the McAfee my employer uses.Webroot isn’t annoying and doesn’t spam you with emails popups and notifications all day long. I have been using it for three years now, with great results. Granted I don’t take my PCs places online where one is certain to encounter sketch, but I haven’t ever had an issue. Very easy to install, I didn’t rate tech support because I haven’t needed it yet. With this license you get three PCs too, so it is a great value.

Webroot caused programs that I used daily blocked.It caused my computer to flicker every time i login.I had to scan 2 times because the first time it wouldn’t detect the malware, kinda like i needed to point it out where it was in order for it to see it.This Webroot software feels like is not even there… Perhaps it isn’t, since i had to do double check/scan in order to find anything malicious.It’s NOT worth paying for this, i think its main market target is the elderly who would just install and be fine with it because Webroot is listed as antivirus.From a person who used Kaspersky since 2006, having and antivirus that works or even tries to compete is a must.Don’t risk it with Webroot, remember that you only need to get it right ONCE, there is no second CHANCES if you ever get hacked.

I am rather obsessive when it comes to the performance of my computers. Hence my tag name.I take security pretty seriously and I periodically try other av products that are affordable or on sale just to see how they work. Kapersky, Eset, Bitdefender to name a few. All of them are good with my favorite being ESET. The problem being ESET didn’t do so well on some av tests. Webroot works differently in that it detects unusual behavior more than file signatures which it does scan using a cloud based scanner. What this means is that in AV testing Webroot doesn’t work because it doesn’t work in the same way a traditional AV. So it is hard to get a real world evaluation besides my own experience. One thing to note is the technology they used should theoretically be better able to detect zero day and emerging threats and because it is cloud based signatures are updated in real time. All in all this makes for very little footprint on your pc and a small usage of resources.For me I think the product is great because it doesn’t slow my pc’s down and allows for almost instantaneous updates. The only downside would be the need to an active net connection. There is an offline scan as well.I think Webroot is a really good product. I would say it prioritizes performance a bit over security while still providing a robust security solution. In some ways I feel it is superior to other AV. There is a new AV that uses AI but it is expensive. I have a feeling that AI will be the future of AV software but for now as a low cost, high performance security option I highly recommend Webroot!!

Webroot is perfect for exactly two applications if and ONLY if you know what you’re doing:1: Taking back precious memory from Windows Defender on very old or very budget machines with unexpandable memory.2: Maximizing gaming performance (if you’re the kind of person who absolutely cannot leave even 2 FPS on the table, like me)Initially and then periodically from then on, application load times will take a bit longer than usual while webroot decides whether they’re safe. It will typically only do this if you haven’t launched an app in quite a while but it sometimes seems to happen at complete random- the end result being that webroot isn’t the best for workspace performance despite freeing up resources ingame.While not so bad as antivirus review labs would have you believe, Webroot’s particular method of threat mitigation flies incredibly close to the sun. Still, it does provide a measure of protection and will evade a number of threats designed to exploit flaws in Windows Defender specifically.So who isn’t Webroot for?In brief, I wouldn’t put it on the average Joe’s PC and I certainly wouldn’t trust it with my business or my grandmother. If you fit one of the two above examples and don’t make a habit of exposing yourself to risk, I can happily recommend Webroot as a performant failsafe.
