  • Great looper pedal
Fantastic Looper for the Price!I’ve been using the Donner Looper Pedal for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed. It offers 90 minutes of total recording time across three tracks, which makes it super easy to layer different parts and experiment creatively. The sound quality is clean with no noticeable loss or noise, and the unlimited overdubs plus undo/redo options make recording mistakes no big deal. Switching between tracks is seamless, and it feels sturdy and well-built for something at this price point.Whether you’re a beginner practicing timing or a performer building full live loops, this pedal delivers way more than you’d expect. Highly recommend it!
  • A fantastic surprise
I took a chance on this because I have had good luck with Donner products in the past. I have owned other noise suppressors including Boss and the fabled (and very expensive) Decimator G string let me just say that this is hands-down the best one I’ve ever owned. It absolutely eliminates the noise and has no noticeable effect on your tone. It does the job and it takes up minimal space on your pedal board. I still can’t believe it was so inexpensive. What can I say? Highly recommended. Very highly.
  • Exactly what I was hoping for at a price point that didn’t break the bank!
This sturdy little pedal came in a nice magnetically closable box with a quick but useful owner’s guide and a couple cute Donner stickers (I believe all Rock ‘n Roll goodies should come with a cool sticker! ;-).I play mostly hard rock and metal (a lot of that drop tuned D, Db, C and B). I was tired of getting almost instant feedback (in my setting – a small 12×14 room with a 40watt all tube Marshall DSL40). I don’t like using the amp in Triode mode (reducing and cutting the output power in half). Needless to say, there was a lot of unwanted noise (and feedback) coming out constantly and almost instantly. Most of my ‘effects’ pedal plug straight into the front of the amp (first – last: Tremonti Dying Machine Way, Joyo Compressor, Tube Screamer Mini, and a Fulltone OCD distortion). I’ve patched this Donner Noise Killer along with my EarthQuacker Dispatch Master Delay/Reverb and volume attenuator pedals through the back FX Loop of the amp to get the most noise reduction without affecting the tone or the effects of the other pedals (besides which, this is a True Bypass pedal). As mentioned above, I use a JHS Little Black Amp Box ‘Passive amp Attenuator’ to cut back the overall volume output of the Marshall amp so I can turn up the Volumes to get into the sweet-spot of the amp itself without blowing my head or the roof off! Combined with the Donner Noise Killer pedal, these work perfectly to manage volumes and unwanted noises! The pedal has both a potentiometer Dial (ranges between -60 and +10db) and a Loud / Soft switch. I find it’s happy place is switched into Soft mode (which Donner recommends for most playing styles in the leaflet/manual) and the Dial set just a tad below -40db. I had to play with this a bit to find the sweet spot where I still get sweet sustain and I’m able to kill the unwanted noises. As Donner designed, it’s easy to adjust and I was jamming within a couple of minutes. There’s just a little “pop” when stomping the the ON/OFF button that is audible through the amp. It’s not terrible however. Besides, it on all the time now anyway. Not a concern…The difference in my setup/setting is like night and day concerning the ambient noise that’s “killed” as well as the amount of feedback I cut out with this little guy! With it turned off, there’s a definite buzzing noise coming out of the the amp. With it on, it’s completely gone! With this on and set as described above, the amount of unwanted feedback is pretty much cut out while playing as well. Now there’s plenty of time to palm-mute and turn down the guitar volume between songs. There maybe a better Noise Killer on the market. You might have a buy a few to find it. You’ll probably be paying 3x the price as well and it’ll be, more than likely, more cumbersome to dial it in.What’s left to say? I’m satisfied with this well built Donner Noise Killer.Buy it! I bet it works for you they way it working for me.
  • Performs as expected and budget friendly
Performs as expected and budget friendly. Sure, there are other products that have more options for greater expression, but this meets my needs perfectly with its compact size, range of settings and thus far its reliability.
  • It just works.
Bought this to give it a try. I have to say I’m actually impressed with this pedal. I’m one of those who buys more expensive models but again decided to try it. It works as it should with no issues and tames the noise from my rats and and my fuzzface. I have a boss noise suppressor on my large board but didn’t need that for my small board. I would recommend it for an inexpensive option that gets the job done and done well!

  • Impressed! This is a cool lil AMP !
I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing this lil amp as well as looking on youtube and watching reviews on it before deciding to purchase.Still wasn’t sure what to expect sound-wise, but …………THIS IS ONE COOL LIL AMP !!!I love it! It’s totally portable because it’s rechargeable and the sound is good !Also, it really seems well built and love the added touches like a much larger amp’s looks.Love the ‘dirty’ feature too !I just use this for my own enjoyment when practicing my octave mandolin and I’m impressed with the sound!I say, you can’t go wrong………* price, hey, really? Good deal !* Sound quality, heck yeah! Granted, not if you’re going onstage, but it’s notmeant for that.* Fun! It gives a whole new prospective of your playing !* OH! Also has a feature where you can plug in your phone if you recorded, say, playing rhythm and have it play through the amp while then you can play themelody with it.I say you can’t go wrong and that it’s worth buying this lil amp !
  • Very Clean Rich Tone/UPDATE: Use on Vintage Guitar
UPDATE 6/23/2025I just bought a 1965 Semi hollowbody electric guitar. It has all original parts. After rewiring to get rid of the 60 year old wiring, I played it on the Flatson’s amp. WOW! The combination of a vintage guitar with original components, and the Flatson’s amp is a winner. I believe it’s because the Flatson’s amp is all analog. I’ve got access to pretty much every kind of guitar out there, and I couldn’t put the 65 down. Yes, the guitar has a great voice, but when paired with this amp, it’s outstanding. So, if anyone is looking at this little amp and wondering how it would sound with a vintage instrument, look no further. The combination is fantastic.I’m a luthier. I build custom acoustic guitars. I repair all types of guitars and I restore historical guitars. I work on electric and acoustic electric guitars. I install pickups in acoustics and I repair the wiring, etc in electrics. I personally own a 1965 semi hollowbody electric, a 1957 hollowbody electric, and an acoustic electric. I have several professional musician clients who play electric and acoustic electric guitars. I keep a couple of small amps in my shop to test guitars and I like to use small amps when I play. When testing and repairing guitars, I prefer amps that produce a very clean sound. My business is unique; I like these tiny amps, because sometimes I have to pack up tools and travel to my clients. Even a small amp can be a lot to carry.I’ve tried and owned several very well-known, name-brand amps. One in particular was a famous brand, but at 1 watt didn’t have enough output to really hear the instrument. I sent it back. I don’t always have convenient access to electric outlets and I go through a lot of batteries so I decided to find a rechargeable mini amp for my own use. I ordered a different brand, which sounded okay. Then I saw the Flatsons on Amazon and liked what I heard after watching several video reviews. I also liked that this amp is analog, which would account for the clean sound. I can’t diagnose problems with the overdrive or distortion settings, so a good clean, well-rounded sound is imperative. I took a chance and ordered the Flatsons. It’s impressed the heck out of me. It amplifies the true voice of the guitar. As tiny as it is, it packs 10 watts, which is very impressive. It amplifies guitars more than enough to hear subtle nuances, for diagnosis. It makes my job easier. I liked it so much, I’ve ordered a total of 3 of them. I’m keeping one in the shop and one with the ’57 and the other with the ’65. Compared to 5 other brands of mini amps, the Flatsons’ build quality is much better. It feels a lot more solid. It weighs more than the others, but it’s not too heavy. It’s small enough to fit into a guitar case with the guitar. It packs enough wattage to really amplify the instrument. It’s nice looking with a vintage feel. I use it with a TRS cable. Although most guitars output an unbalanced mono signal, I prefer the TRS cables, especially for testng; TR cables have a tendency to transmit interface from the unbalanced signal. The build quality, sound, 10 watts, retro looks, and rechargeability, make the Flatsons a big winner among mini amps. This is no toy, but a true amplifier. The price point is $20 less than big brand-name mini amps that have less than 1/2 the wattage output. Don’t waste your money on them. I highly recommend the Flatson.
  • Cool lil amp
For what it is it’s worth the 40 bucks . Sounds good enough for what it is.
  • Not a toy! Very small but powerful.
Wow. Not bad at all. Clean sounds, my GC Custom LP Widow sounds great, absolutely no static noise. It has Built in fuzz and gain that sounds good. Bluetooth works well. Has auxiliary input 1/8” jack and headset output also. Charges on standard USB C. Loud enough for a practice session. We will use awhile to find out how long the battery will run. Great for practicing with soundtracks. Works with iPhone 12 and latest iPhone iOS I would buy again
  • Great Little Practice Amp with Versatile Tones
A great little practice amp for the price. More fun to play with than a 5-watt, but still won’t disturb your housemates or get you kicked out of a hotel. The 1/8-inch headphone jack delivers a satisfyingly loud signal. At first, I was less than impressed with the tone. But after messing around with the gain, tone, and volume controls for an hour, and the clean/overdrive switch, I found surprisingly good sounds. Some might be counterintuitive, such as cranking the gain in clean mode and backing off a bit of treble and volume, which adds a lovely bit of sustain and boost to clean notes without sounding distorted. Similarly, cranking the volume on the drive setting while experimenting with the gain and tone knobs results in a spectrum of sounds from jangly 60s to dirty buzzsaws to crunchy metal. You already know it won’t be the most jaw-droppingly awesome amp you’ll ever play, and it doesn’t need to be. It’s portable, easy to use, has a nice tonal range for its size, and will help you practice on electric guitar without breaking the bank.If I could squeeze one more feature into this compact box, it would be a reverb/delay setting. Then this little amp would be a one-stop shop for not just clean and dirty sounds, but also trippy and spacey. But that’s a minor complaint in a world where you can just add a delay pedal to this rig, and still fit it all inside a gig-bag pocket with a couple of cables. The vintage tweed amp design looks nice, like a miniature classic. Or, like you just adopted an adorable baby who will someday grow up to be a Marshall JCM800. Whether you’re just starting out and want to practice while saving up for a bigger amp, or you find yourself on the road and need to think small, this little baby should take good care of you.

What Customers Say:

  • Classic sound that never fails
The Boss DS-1 is a timeless distortion pedal that delivers every time. It’s super easy to use, built like a tank, and gives that perfect crunchy tone for rock, metal, or punk. The tone control is very responsive, and it sounds great with any amp. For the price, this pedal is unbeatable — a must-have for every guitarist!
  • Great price and fantastic sound effects.
Great pedal for that classic rock sound.
  • It Rocks!
Boss effect pedals are simply the best in terms of engineering and build quality. I have a fairly large collection of effect pedals, and at least half of them are overdrive or distortion. This one is REALLY good.A couple of considerations if you buy this one:This one is a different breed of cat. It has digital circuitry that gives it some special qualities:1. Take the time to experiment with adjustments. It’s different. It’s very bright, and has very high gain, so the best sounds won’t look like settings on a typical distortion like a DS-1.2. Playing a Stratocaster, I’m getting the best sounds as follows:Gain: 10:00-12:00 (maybe lower with Humbuckers)Low: ~2:00 (boosted)High: ~9:30 (reduced)3. This pedal has very high gain; If I get past 2:00, I hear a lot of digital noise. Gain of 10:00 – 12:00 is great. I get a few feedback squeals at this level.Hope this helps The results you get with all gain type effects (overdrive and distortion) will depend entirely on your guitar and amp. The DS-1X has the tones – just be patient and dial them in 🙂
  • Always turns on when plugged into outlet
Great sound. Good pedal for the price. Gives that distinct sound. Built for a lifetime. Only issue I have is it always turns on when you connect it to a new outlet from a pedal chain.
  • Sharp character – 5 Gold Stars
This pedal is great. I used it on my Gibson LP 100 and Roland drum machine and man…It sounds like a dream. There’s definitely a lot to work with here.I don’t know what these other people mean by saying “mid-high or high-gain is only achievable with this”.I tested the pedal myself and adjusted the tone of it to produce lower frequencies and it sounded thick. I wouldn’t ever use this for low, low sounds but, that’s not to say that someone wouldn’t.If you’re receiving a brighter sound out of it and want it to be lower, it’s likely that you are playing an instrument that’s already producing a bright sound. I can’t hit my cymbal on my drum machine and complain about the lack of bass through the distorted sound because there no low end frequencies to work with in the first place. There is a meal on a silver platter, and you hold the power to possess this meal. But you have to inquire about it. This pedal is your waiter, menu and utensils that can help you indulge in it.But in all seriousness. I have spent so many hours on specifically distorting my sounds through digital pre-sets and such. They’ve sounded great afterwards, but that’s not the point…No the point is, is that this device right here:1) Cuts the distortion editing process time in half.2) Saves up RAM + Helps avoid potential latency issues in your DAW (if you’re like me and use a shitload of presets) which in turn, creates more efficient, easier work flow.3) Creates an effortlessly attractive flare to your sound. If you have the money get it. If you don’t, go on eBay or to guitar center and spend 25$ for a used one…These things are very indestructible.Hope this helps.
  • Best effect ever

  • Positive Grid got it right with the Spark Go
I picked the Spark Go up on sale recently and I’m really glad I did. I already owned the Spark Mini and knew the quality that was built in so I didn’t even think twice. Both are bedroom amps playing different guitar setups (a Strat on the Mini and an Epi SG on the Go). Others have said it and it bears repeating that it plays much bigger than it looks. The tone a bit deeper than the Mini with more bass present (the Mini carries more mid-range by the default settings in my opinion). For the money, this is a high value and high-quality small amp that holds its own. It also takes pedals well as I have a Boss SY-1 and a EHXtortion in front of it. If you are on the fence about purchasing the Spark Go, I say ‘Go for It’! Note that I don’t talk about the app because I don’t really use it, I’m fine with the default presets.
  • Knocked it out of the park
This pocket-sized guitar amp is seriously, ridiculously good for the money.I’ve owned a number of amps including modeling amps, tube amps, solid state, etc. It can take a lot of tinkering to get the sound out of them that you want. I mostly want a nice clean sound without too much reverb or a hard driven fuzzy sound like that of Clapton when strumming in overdrive.Let’s start with the sound output: It’s *really* good for its size. No audible distortion even when the volume is at max and some of the drive pedals push it beyond its normal volume. Great bass, too.Modeling abilities: Infinitely customizable. The community is also enormous. So many people have contributed great amp/pedal combos so that you do not have to start from scratch. Just find one that’s close to what you want and modify from there. The preset buttons are awesome, too.Bluetooth: This thing works as both a BLE device and bluetooth audio device, and has separate hardware output volume controls for EACH. That’s so, so good. You can play built-in backing tracks, AI backing tracks, or your own music and control the volume directly on the speaker alongside your volume knob for the guitar itself.Wants? Ideally, I’d love a dedicated button to toggle overdrive and clean (or any two pedal configurations of your choice). I suppose that you could do this with the hardware presets, but then you’d have to occupy all 4 of them with 2 different models in order to reliably switch back and forth at the touch of a button. For reference, I’m playing on a well-set-up Fender American Professional II Stratocaster. It’s rare to see such a small amp do such an expensive guitar justice, but I am immensely surprised. This is my new go-to practice amp for my office.
  • You won’t regret it
I love this little amp! As much as I’ve been able to use it anyway. My bf is a professional musician and keeps hogging it! He really loves all the features, the big sound from such a little speaker, and the versatility for connecting up to it. The cube travel amp is gathering dust! (And the spark go was cheaper!)It will give you literally any sound you can think of, and kind of acts like a Boss Katana. Some artists are even pre-set. Want Slash’s tone? It’s there. EVH? yup. Vai? Oh yes—and he even has his own selection of backing tracks you can use.I can’t believe it’s a 5 watt that fits in my palm.Biggest mistake people make is trying to set it upright. It’s supposed to lay on its back, that’s why it falls over when you plug a cord into it.Absolutely worth it.
  • Amazing
Amazing. I don’t use any other pedal/amp anymore.
  • Unbelievable Sound!
I bought this for my best friend for his Birthday so he can play at work through headphones. First off, the four presets it has stock are great-sounding right out of the box. They chose some very well-crafted tones to show off what the little beast can do.Secondly, it’s small, about the size of a disposable camera, maybe a little bigger. But the sound that it can generate is impressive. I turned it up all the way, and had to raise my voice to talk over it. I didn’t have to yell; it’s not that loud, but it was loud enough. The real magic came through he headphones. I used my Shure Studio Headphones, and the clarity and power coming through was just downright impressive. The sound was articulate, the pick attack was present, and just clear and concise in each preset.Next we tried the App. After some false starts with pairing (user issue, unrelated to the device), we experimented with the available tones before exploring the Tone Library or Jam Session. Unfortunately, the app crashed a few times and seemed laggy, but it has an intuitive interface. I recommend using a tablet for the larger pictures, but a phone works just as well.My assessment is an easy five stars for the little amp, with the caveat that the App is clunky, but easy to navigate. If you play guitar and want to sound like any of your guitar heroes (there are thousands of tones available in the library), get this guy and use the headphones. 5W doesn’t seem like much, but straight into your ears, it’s more than loud enough, and I’d suggest not doing that (I have bad tinnitus from not listening to people like me now). If you’re a guitarist, always protect your hearing.
  • Dosnt really work for a bass.
Indicates you can hook a bass guitar up to it, but when I do it sounds distorted. Everything works as it should I just don’t think they should advertise it as a bass amp.
  • Small amplifier
    Very portable. Very versatile.
  • Great little practice amp
Great little practice amp, lots of options with the app to test out thousands of tones.

  • An Incredible Pedal!
I wanted a ‘Fuzz-Box” When i was young I bought a Univox “Super Fuzz” not knowing it was the preferred EFX pedal to most major Rock guitarists. I’ve watch videos of The Who on stage and I can see Townshend has the pedal no ton the floor, but up high and easy to adjust. I bought it because I could get the sounds of Black Sabbath with it and it worked great on my Bass. It could growl or it could buzz and do anything inbetween. I sold my pedal two years ago and got $550.00 for it. I think I paid $45 back in 1976So there I was regretting not having that pedal and finding out that nothing else sounded like it no matter how much the listing said it did. I bought an expensive unit to a friend as a gift and it claimed to be identical to the Super Fuzz and to even have more tonel adjustments. It didn’t sound anything like the Univox. Now keep in mind I am talking about a “Fuzz” and not distortion or overdrive. Those EFX sound different than a Fuzz Box. Two weeks ago I cam across this on Amazon and after thinking about it bought something else that was actually a little bit more money. I never buy the cheapest product even when broke. Somehow it never arrived and Amazon sent me a refund very promptly. Then I went back to this one. I switched over to “Dogpile” my search engine and read about the pedal and listened to several videos of people demonstrating it. So I went back to Amazon and bought it for a very low price. – Thank you Amazon. It arrived the next day – thank you Amazon Prime – and after popping in a battery I tried it out. I have a new Les Paul copy I am about to upgrade so I plugged it in and played. I messed with the settings a lot and it sounded like crap. Then I turned the last knob almost all the way to the left and it sounded great! From there I tuned the over knobs to get a sound I loved. I ran it through a compressor and delay and this thing blew my freakin’ mind. It was every adjective I can think of in a superlative vein. It was fantastic, magnificent, awesome, incredible and on and on. I couldn’t put the guitar down. I was amazed to know that what I was hearing from my amp/cabinet was me. I sounded as if I could play. I was playing runs from Deep Purple and I sounded like the records. I was playing Who and Zeppelin, I suck at Page so i went back to Deep Purple and even played some Humble Pie. The sounds were all there! All of my favorite British guitarists were inside my amplifier. Then I began to play “Good bye to Jane” and discovered how much fun it is to blaze through my favorite Slade songs. I can’t remember having so much fun. It sounds sweet when playing light solos or leads without changing settings, I simply changed how i played the notes and the box did the rest. Some boxes have one sound and you get it louder or softer but you still get the same sound. Not with this little purple wonder. The variations in tone are never ending between changing the pedal settings and changing the pick up positions and tone knobs on the guitar. In fact I think they ought to sell this pedal with every LP copy and they’d never have a complaint. It is nice that this pedal is so inexpensive. It appears to me made well. The off gives a completely quiet pedal by-pass. I believe it could take some rough handling at practice or packing up after a gig. The tag on it says “British” and it certainly earns the right to than name. It enabled me to sound just like all my favorite 60-s to 70’s British rock guitarists.I can’t recommend this pedal enough if that is the sound you want. maybe in 40 years people will be paying absurd amounts to buy one of these original pedals. You never can tell.
  • Joyo British Sound
Great pedal, for the money (I paid $39 on Amazon), to get a nice “Marshall” crunch/gain. I play hard rock in a band and hard rock is the reason I actually play guitar. I wanted a small form-factor pedal as backup to my current “direct” rig; a Nux Cerberus.I really like the sound I have dialed-in on the Cerberus and believe I can also achieve a similar sound with the Joyo British Sound pedal (without effects, though). I’ve compared recordings of both and they are really close tone-wise….close enough, for the money, for me to have a decent backup or a portable “Marshall”.Apparently, you can dial in various Marshall-type tones; I really only like the one, medium to heavy gain for rhythm and leads. I would’ve sent it back if it did not sound good enough; it sounds great. I’ve been playing for over 40 years and know what tone I like. The knobs feel sturdy, though they are plastic. The chassis is metal and very sturdy feeling.I have not/would not use a battery with it, so I can’t speak to battery life; just my preference to use the proper power supply (9v) as I’ve always done with pedals. Having said that, there’s no power supply with the version of the pedal I bought, but you can get a “bundle” with a power supply (so I’ve seen). It’s a good sized pedal. It’s slightly bigger than a normal Boss or TC Electronic “non-mini” pedal. I really like all of the various knobs for tone shaping, so I’m assuming that’s why the size is slightly bigger, etc.The cool thing which really sold me (outside of the price) was this pedal, like the rest of this series of pedals (AC Tone, American Sound, etc.) has a built-in cabinet simulator. Since my current rig is “direct” that makes it an easy set up to just plug this pedal “direct” into a DI and I can immediately start playing. It’s easy to keep in my gig-bag and I could totally see it being put on a separate board at some point for simplicity’s sake. I could easily record with it too; just go direct into the DAW/Interface and it sounds great.

  • Double duty pedal, tuner and a splitter
When I’m playing at home, I play with a Peavey Vypyr amp. Those amps have terrible tuners. Never seems to pick up the correct note on my guitar. This tuner is much better. Easy configuration, you can set it for guitar or chomatic or flat steps down, etc. The interface is super easy to read. I personally like the style where it looks like the LEDs are spinning right/left for sharp/flat, but they have the standard off from center tuning that most tuners use. All in all, this is a great tuner pedal, and I’m very happy with it. It does what it does very well. The thing I really like about this tuner is that there is an output and a bypass. Output gets cut when the pedal is active. If you are playing live, this is the one you will want to use. Bypass never gets cut. It’s great for at home or if you are tuning somebody else to your instrument. But there’s another awesome use for it; you can use it as a splitter and run your signal through 2 amps. This is fantastic for recording. Setting one amp up for the low end and another amp up for the high end and then mixing them together in the studio software makes for a very full sounding recording. If you want to run the same effects, put the tuner last, if you want to run different effects, put the tuner first.
  • Good pedal
I like this pedal, makes life a lot more easier/reliable to see intonation and tuning. Thank you Boss.
  • Great tuner
It’s a tuner. It’s a boss. What could go wrong? This thing is great, works well, easy to use, very intuitive and easy to read. I’ve been waiting to buy a pedal tuner for some time now to replace the clip on tuners (though they still have their place) and finally decided on this especially with a recent sale. Great item, I expect it to last a long time like my other boss pedals.
  • Great tuner
Accurate. What else is there to say? It’s BOSS so the quality of the pedal is gonna be great. Couldn’t recommend enough.
  • the best
Best tuner.I’m on my second of this pedal and there’s a reason:-I only needed a new one as my old one was stolen during a break-in of my car while crossing the country, NOT because the pedal went bad or broke or anything. In fact, the old one looked almost brand new after several years of reliable service (had it since…2010?)Why I chose it again :-Power-hopping is the best feature when you have a pedal board. I don’t have a tangle of cables left and right, and even without a board, I could still link all of my pedals together, run them off of this pedal, and only have needed ONE ac charger! Priceless.-Rugged chassis has held-up to everything. I took this pedal to Afghanistan, used it daily for an entire year, and brought it back like nothing had happened! I’ve dropped it as many times as you can count and never had a problem :)-Tuning is spot-on and having the option to tune by strings or experience alternative tuning in a flash has been great! The options of using strobe-tune vs. the traditional roving bar or line have been fun to two with as well. The more accurate my tuning, the happier I am. Guess what? This unit does it in spades!Do yourself a favor and get this pedal.
  • Trusted brand never any issues.
Bought this one as a gift. Trusted brand and no issues ever.
  • Great product
If using the battery power mode, don’t forget to unplug the input cable when finished so your battery will not deploy!
  • The best!

  • perfect little bass amp~
Wow, so I live in a small apartment in a building with paper thin walls. I got this little amp and a bass, an electric piano, and electronic drum kit. I was worried this little 25 watt amp wouldn’t be loud enough for the bass,, but when I got it and plugged every thing in it was soooo loud! then I went to sleep, woke up and tried it again, at half volume level, this thing is perfect. Everything worked out great, and I’m jamming with my neighbor and some others soon. Good deal.
  • Very impressive!
I have owned a lot of high end amps and cabinets and this inexpensive combo sounds so good I think it might be my favorite. Plenty of volume and punch and the tone is perfect with very little knob-turning. My only complaints are the lack of mute switch and the bright and contour voicings are pretty terrible to my ears. The overdrive channel is ok but I would prefer to get rid of all of the voicing buttons and give me a mute switch instead. Overall though, I love this combo and I would definitely recommend it.
  • Second Fender Bass Amp
I just needed a practice amp for home, and my 8 year old Fender bass amp was starting to be distorted. I decided to go with a different, less expensive amp, however it had a very bad buzz right out of the box on the low E string. Decided to go back to the tried and true Fender amp, even though I thought the old one should have lasted more then 8 years.
  • Excellent Amp
Love this app.It sounds great.I would buy again
  • Compact an lightweight but very good sound
Only used a couple of times so far but very pleased with this small bass amp. I had it set up for me by a man who has been playing professionally for many years and he liked it also. Being a woman with back problems, it is lightweight and something that I, myself, can carry without any major pain or difficulty. I think it is a very nice fit for occasional use at different venues. Pleased with my purchase.
  • Surprisingly Lightweight
Surprisingly lightweight – i just wish it had an extra output for a cabinet, its strong enough to play even bigger gigs, did not use it more than 50% volume/gain maybe 60% max and sounded pretty good.
  • Love it
Easy to set up, lightweight, I like it!Fits in the corner out of the way, well!
  • Great amp!

  • Great mini amp
Powerful amp with a great sound that is big enough to carry quite far. Would perform well in a big room.HzS
  • Winner!!
This review may be premature. I opened up the box and didn’t even charge the amp. I just plugged it into my guitar and started playing, so I don’t know how long it will last on a charge. But as for the sound, I was immediately hooked. It gives you just enough volume to play an intimate living room concert without blowing everybody away. Imagine electric guitar sound qualities with acoustic volume. This gadget has three sound levels – clean, kind of grungy, and super grungy. It’s great for practicing. Not having to slog any amps or hook up any cords is a plus. Given the size and convenience, the sound is incredible. And since it’s small enough to fit inside your case with the guitar, if you have multiple guitars, at this price it’s worth it to buy more than one. Part 2 : One problem with the mini amp – eventually, it will need to be recharged. I got about an hour’s play out of mine before the red light started blinking. It recharges pretty quickly but at this price why wait? Buy two. Trust me, it’s worth it.Update: I went to bed and forgot to turn the mini amp off. 9 hours later I noticed the lights are still on. I picked up the guitar and just started playing! Winner!
  • Excellent for the price!
The Lekato mini electric guitar amp is really nice to have for practicing when you don’t have time to get out all your gear and hook it all up. It is surprisingly loud for a small speaker and can fill a room easily. There are 3 sounds: clean, overdrive and distortion. The press and hold Reverb effect for each of the 3 sounds makes a noticeable difference., too. I recommend this if you’re looking for something to practice with on the go, or needing a quick guitar fix!
  • Overall good
For the money you pay this is pretty good. It’s small and can’t compete with a bigger amp but it does the job of being very portable and able to carry it just about anywhere. The sound is ok for fooling around. It does what I thought it would.
  • It Fits A Squier Stratocaster
It works really well with a Strat because of the angle of the input jack but will work well with any electric guitar. It has decent enough tone for heavy music . It’s plenty loud for me . It has built delay that can be turned off. It’s well worth the money . I haven’t used the Bluetooth function because I would rather have music coming from another source to play along with .
  • Ok for the price
Has a tinney sound. OK for practice so you don’t have to plug in your amp. Wouldn’t want to perform with it. Not too bad for the price. It kinda falls under you get what you pay for
  • Perfect for practices in small spaces.
I was surprised by the quality and volume of this amp, considering the small size and low price. Super functional and convenient.
  • Definitely worth the money and it sounds pretty good too.
Great little speaker I use it for tuning my electric guitar my bass and my electric 12 string. not super loud, loud enough, great price I have three different plugins on my instruments it fits all of them comfortably. No buzz I like that and no crackle of the speakers it’s a good little speaker.

  • Great Build Quality and Value
Fender product is great. The Amp works well for a beginner and the build quality is very good. I recommend.
  • No reverb but great practice amp.
Very simple amp. I think I should have spent a few bucks more to get reverb. Other than that it sounds great. Just be aware that the over drive has a separate volume control which is normal. Output is about 6 or so watts RMS but perfect as a practice amp. I’m happy for the money.

  • Does exactly what it says for $30! No more no less.
I just got it an hour ago, and right out of the box I plugged it into my Ibanez 6 string. and it works beautifully. The sound is wonderful (For what it is) If you compare this to a more expensive amp you are cheating yourself out of a good product, because you will think it is not as good. For $30 this is a great travel/practice amp. You can get great clean/overdrive/crunchy tone out of it. It connects with my phone and I was able to play some backing tracks on Spotify from my phone to jam to.I personally love it! Will it replace my main amp? NO! But it is not supposed to, this can be bought for pennies and works straight out of the box with no setup. This is great for your 8 year old’s first practice amp. Even at full volume, while the sound was clear and nice to me, my wife was able to watch television in the next room, without problem. You can use it while charging, so during long jam/practice sessions, when the battery eventually dies. You can just plug it in and continue playing. I have not had it long enough to comment on the battery life, but every other aspect of it I love so far, and I give it that 5 star rating honestly. My two criticisms are small ones. First of all, it rolls around in the output port of the guitar, as you move or shift its weight, it does not stay still. I worry about breaking it on something as it sticks out from the guitar very far. But even still it is only $30 to replace it if it does. It would be nice to have a mounting bracket (Sell it separately to not increase the price of the unit) But a simple 3d printed bracket to clip it to the body of the guitar better would be something I would buy.The additional 6.5mm adapter that came with it makes no sense, and I am not sure what it is for, and it is not mentioned in the owners manual at all. I thought it would attach to give some more space between the unit and the guitar if you wanted that. But it does not.The unit also comes with Bluetooth functionality, very cool as I said you can plug it into the guitar, connect it to your phone, and then play music or a backing track from your phone to play guitar along to. Or if you just want a small portable speaker to play music from your phone with, it will do that. The owners manual, shows you just propping the amp up on the connection adapter, like a kick-stand. However Guitar people will not want to do that as it can damage that adapter and cause an unwanted buzz or other unwanted sounds. So you could 3d print a small plastic cover to clip onto it, so when you use it as a kick-stand the metal of the adapter is protected from scratches.Do those things and I would give it 10 stars. I would buy three or four more of them to keep in various places like my gig bag, or my friends house where I jam and practice a lot. This is a good product, that is worth the 5 stars and the $30 already. Those two additions would make it way better.
  • Update on this little speaker.
This little amp, at first I hated it. Because it didn’t sound like my big cab. But then I took it on vacation with me and realized what it’s supposed to be for. I am happy to say I am very happy with this. I get to jam anywhere in the house, a park, on vacation. It’s not going to sound like your cab, but it sounds great. One last thing, the sound does change due to the pickups on your guitar, so if you have a hot pickups guitar versus a vintage low output, you will notice the difference on the output. The Bluetooth works great with backing tracks from YouTube or wherever good sound quality. I still recommend this.
  • Sounds great. No tuner. Easy plug and play.
This little amp is really easy to plug and play. Love the Bluetooth on there and it is loud enough for practice. I give it 4 stars only because I wish it had a built in tuner. They could have easily implemented that since it has 2 LEDs and top can be sharp and bottom could be flat and both green would be spot on. I hope Joyo reads this for their mark II.
  • As expected and good sound quality!
When I tested it out on my electric guitar and electric bass, the volume was good, especially for the size. The effects are pretty easy to understand and switch between too. I like the distortion a lot too. It was pretty easy to connect my phone with it as well, and I’m able to practice and play along with sounds in real time by ear.
  • It’s ok, but a few odd decisions
For $24, you can’t expect too much. The sound works, It’s portable, and has a rechargeable battery. The sound is ok. It lacks low end and distorts easily when overdriven, but again, it’s $24. The clean+reverb and overdrive+reverb really aren’t bad, but the distortion setting is ugly. The reverb really helps out the first two sounds. But does this work for noodling around on the couch with out dealing with wires, or maybe even playing along with another quiet instrument like a digital piano? Yes, and it’s worth it.However, there are real issues if you’re fine with a lackluster sound. Something unavoidable is if you turn the speaker towards you, it’s then playing straight into the pickups. This causes tons of feedback on the distortion setting and makes it near unplayable. If you’re a metal head wanting to dirty tones, this isn’t for you.The other issues are just poor design decisions that wouldn’t impact price. First, as another reviewer pointed out, the fit in a strat style guitar is bad. I have a G&L Comanche with a strat like body, and the plug just barely fits in the front facing jack on the guitar. They could have extended the jack just a few mm and it would have been so much better. I took away a star for thatMy biggest issue is that when the amp is turned on and NOT connected to blutooth, the blue LED blinks. Why??? It’s so annoying. I’m trying to play and there’s this small blinking light in the corner of my eye. It’s distracting and such a stupid design. The blinking supposedly stops if you connect it to a blutooth device, but I don’t want to do that. I just want to plug it into the guitar and play and not have to connect anything else, but now there’s a blinking light. Can they update the firmware with this somehow???I was about to send it back but then I covered the LED with electrical tape. It’s mostly hidden the blinking, but I know it’s there.Ultimately I’ll keep this thing because it’s cheap and I’ll actually use it. It even sounds pretty good with my Fender Acoustasonic! Yes, a $24 amp plug sounds good with a $2000 guitar. But why does the LED need to blink at all??? just change the color when connected to blutooth instead.
  • Good little amp
The sound on this small amp is decent enough for practicing solo. It’s often a struggle to run a cable and turn on and adjust a full-sized amp, so having something small and portable that sounds decent is great. It’s rechargeable so I don’t need to get batteries, and the toggle between different modes means I don’t have to fiddle around with different knobs to get the right sound. Overall a nice little gadget for an electric guitar.
