Luis Tleft on all weekendNo matter how tight I try to get the pool cover, it still collects water. So I got this pump to empty it as needed. I collects quite a bit of water so pumping it out can take close to an hour, give or take. Well I was using the pump on the day we were leaving for the weekend…and left forgetting to take it out/unplug it. 48 hours later when I realized, I unplugged it and gave it a quick look..I couldn’t tell it if was still working when I unplugged it, it’s pretty quiet. There was another half of the cover to drain, so I submerged the pump and plugged it in. What do you know, it still works…started pumping out the water like nothing happened. It was cool weather when it happened, maybe in the middle of summer, it might have been a different outcome? Either way, my mistake didn’t cost me, so Im happy.

Don ThompsonWorks great for the price.I’m using it as a pool cover pump to remove water after heavy rains. I have a 16 x 32 inground pool, so no telling how many gallons the cover collects when we get 2″-3″ of rain over a few days. Works good, but does not move water too quickly. I am using the small diameter hose and one of the fittings that it came with, so maybe this could be improved if I purchased a larger (adapter) fitting and larger diameter hose. Very happy that it came with a long cord and the included hose and several different fittings. Packaging was great, no issues. For the price, I’m happy with it. Have used it a few times and it has been plugged in for several hours each time and takes water down to a very minimal level as advertised. I am enjoying the ease of using this pump vs. dragging out my larger sump pump each time that I had previously been using.

DouglasNO AUTO SHUT OFFDespite the fact that my pump did not come with the mesh bag for keeping leaves away this unit pumps out water as expected. This pump DOES NOT HAVE AN AUTO SHUT OFF WHEN IT NO LONGE REACHES WATER. I have to unplug it to save electric and keep it from overheating.

julie lawrenceSo far so good.Needed help getting the rest of the water out of the above ground pool. I was skeptical bc of the size and other reviews, but this one has been a life saver! It comes with multiple attachments for different hose fittings. The hose it came with isn’t ling enough for where we wanted the water to got to, but I made it work. It comes with a mesh bag that keeps larger debris from being sucked up. There is no power switch, just set at the lowest point in the water, plug in, and go.

Hans KarlsonGreat value for a pool cover water pumpExcellent little pump for my pool cover. So far it’s done the job of keeping the water off my cover. Now the cover is covered with leaves. But they include a mesh bag to hold the pump. It does an excellent job acting as a leaf filter. So you can run that pump without taking the leaves off. I’ve probably run the pump after 4 heavy rains, approximately 8 hours run time. The pump doesn’t pump as fast as advertised but is adequate. Hopefully it lasts and time will tell. It comes with a long enough cord and hose to get at least 1/2 way across a 24 foot pool which is all you really need for that. It’s completely submersible and sinks to the lowest point on its own. Worth the money!

DPPerfect for pool coversThis is a life saver. I’ve used a much heavier pump until it stopped working. This little pump is excellent. It is not so heavy that it causes the cover to sink. It is just the perfect weight to pump water out of the cover and works very fast and efficiently. Not issue at all setting it up. It comes with a hose that can be easily attached. I wish the hose was a just a few more feet longer. Overall this is a great pump. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
