Ok, been a few months and too many YT videos. Mostly ranch-related, wildlife to indoor stuff but also hack film projects. Very happy with performance; works well; above-average accessories (xtra battery; cords, etc.) I film way too much stuff but in a filmable area to put it lightly so carried on hikes, in garden, around farm; good and compact and ok after inevitable drop or two. (Results may vary on latter!)Gripes. Most perhaps “git off my lawn” old man stuff:G1: The main “Start recording/stop” most popular button is a good size but, me at least, never have an easy time with it. Doesn’t seem to respond each time or must push harder than you’d think, thus fumbling with the compact size and always accidentally touching other buttons (that don’t trigger anything but still). May be me. Adult male but Nosferatu hands (say what?).G2. The “night mode” night vision seems no different than reg and pretty useless beyond very close things that may be illuminated by the 3 tiny little lights that then come on. The cheaper one this replaced had amazing NV; got to read fine print on that. Note: all this general hobby; no big deals. So bought an “average” Amazon camcorder; not cheapest but dang close. This was discounted so another “step up” but not much. Seems better quality than last but prefer old one, no offense to this perfectly-functional one.G3. “Dang, Ethel! You’d expect the nifty case provided to FIT the dang thing!” Ok, it DOES but not with the battery that extends its length enough so it won’t fit in the case. BUT (git off my … oh. did that) after I stubbornly jammed it in a few times, it stretched out. So like a new sock perhaps that needs a little pull. Moot in practice as I usually want if available faster so just put in a pocket. NOTE:NOTHING NEGATIVE to it’s reason for existence. Good value. Working great and happy with it. I know there are different forms of NV, few really the tech version so perhaps this just has a closeup or diff version I did not clue into and/or some control combo also missed. IT WORKS WELL FOR PRICE.Rest pretty good. I wish the port for the memory card allowed a little more room to grab the damn thing but that’s standard with all devices now (git off my lawn!). Pics are screenshots so cam’s results may be better vs what shows up here. I like the options of a super HD, reg HD and VGA.

This is adorable. It’s so tiny and easy to use mostly. I’m older so it’s not totally easy to use but it was easy enough to figure out things that I wasn’t sure about. It has clear pictures and the kiddo will love it for christmas. Cost was good and fast shipping.

I bought this not expecting a super high quality camera. The footage is crispy – juuust the way I wanted it. I like that almost vintage-y, crispness in video footage. The sound quality? Yiiiiikes….I recommend getting a separate mic. There’s an option to hook up a separate mic. I haven’t bothered yet but prob will soon. The cam can’t handle loud noises at all. If you’re speaking, don’t get close to the camera itself. It sounds bad LOL! But I don’t realllyyy care, since I can always just digitally adjust that once I export the videos.The camera is super lightweight, easy to figure out, and can take pictures as well. Very easy to use. Easy to export videos too! I’m still gunna keep it and use it. Durability? Not sure yet, I’m pretty careful with it. It doesn’t seem like it’ll break, I took it skiing with me and it was fine whenever I fell.Anywho if you’re looking for a cheap camera for a crispy footage look , this is the cam for that job! Don’t expect a Sony-quality device lol.

I purchases this camera for making online videos. I made a mistake! The camera looks good out of box. it looks like a good design other than being able to operate it. The Owners Manual is poor at best. Gives no instruction on actual operations. It does tell you the names of each button and functionality. It does NOT give step by step instructions how to go from one viewing menu screen to another. It does NOT tell you how to make videos last for more that 13 minutes 23 seconds. The camera does NOT indicate that your video has maxed out and has started A NEW VIDEO in the middle of filming! gives no instructional video for use. Seller/designer/manufacturer should assume purchaser IS NOT FAMILIAR WITH THEIR PRODUCT before selling it. The manual is very small, points out button names and very basic functions using jargon that the non-film-pro may or may not understand. The manual itself fits in one hand, about as thick as a napkin, is 18 pages, black & white pictures to describe color screens. pictures are dark and unreadable.What they should have provided was a step by step instruction for set-up and actual applications for making a video and for photos. I have not been able to figure out the photo setting, so I don’t know if that works or not. The videos that I have made are clear. The mic does not pick up unless you are within 3 or 4 feet of the camera. So, if you are good with 13 minute films, you will need to buy a microphone with the appropriate attachment. Amazon does sell them. I wish I bought a different camera. Its just really difficult to use because of these circumstance. I have no idea how to properly operate or adjust the films. I cannot find a source for instructions online. YouTube was also no help.

This is the best purchase of 2025 for me. a couple of month ago I came across someone using the Osmo Pocket 3 a couple of month ago. I between this and the Xtra Muse and I decided to buy the Pocket 3 and I have no regrets. It feels sturdy and durable when holding the equipment. The in mic works perfectly well, but I highly suggest that you order the DJI Mic 2 for better sound. The image quality of the camera is really good. For my videography business, this is a good camera to shoot b-roll and interview. There is an app (DJI Mimo) that you’ll have to download to register the Osmo Pocket 3, but after you down pop in your microsd card and you can start shooting with no problem.

I bought this for travel. There’s tons of videos in Youtube on how to use this well so it’s very easy to learn. The size is small enough to carry around easily and take videos at any times. It’s just so easy to use and the videos recorded are really great, clean 4K videos capturing the scenery very well. Highly recommend.

I have a SONY FX-30, and a A6700, I purchased this for content while at my office desk and need something quick. Using an iphone is not up for discussion if you have this. The quality in video is unreal. From B-Roll to Off the mat interviews, post game interviews etc. This Camera is so easy to use also. We hand this off to interns or rookies all the time and tell them to just run and gun. You will not find a better camera on the market for what this is needed for. If you are a Vlogger or looking to start your own in person content. Look no further. This is the camera for you!

I ordered this camera to replace my DJI Osmo Pocket 2, which I’ve liked, but – oh my! – the Pocket 3 has SO many FAR better features for travel vlogging!Unfortunately, the Pocket 3 also stops working (after the 5th time you turn it on), if you don’t “activate” it via an app on your phone.Well, I had mixed feelings about that, but – for such a great camera – I decided to take a chance on privacy issues, and activate the app anyway.BUT THEN…The app isn’t on Google Play for a reason: When I researched the issue, it comes down to GDPR standards. Apparently, the DJI Mimo app – used to activate the camera – doesn’t meet those standards.So, I could download the app to my Motorola phone, but the app wouldn’t install. It was blocked by Motorola for safety and privacy reasons (per the pop-up window).Of course, the app wouldn’t even download to my husband’s Google Pixel phone.I’m stunned that a $500+ camera can’t be used, fresh out of the box, without jumping through more hoops… some requiring me to buy another phone.But more than that, I’m terribly disappointed. I’d waited weeks to receive this camera. And, at first glance, this camera looks great, and has SO many wonderful features, I was delighted that I’d purchased it… until I realized I can’t use it at all.This isn’t a new issue. In forums, I see that DJI has known about this since 2023. I’m not sure why they won’t comply with GDPR standards to solve this problem.Until they do, I’m sad and disappointed, and cannot recommend the camera at all.This might have been a five-star review. The camera looks great, and – until it quit working – everything about it impressed me.Instead, I can only give it one-star.I hope this is a warning to others to check if their phones accept (and will install) the DJI Mimo app, before buying this camera.

I just got it and trying to get started. First problem terrible instruction manual, doesn’t show where and which way to insert memory card. I mean, don’t they have anyone with common sense in any of those Chinese factories? Why are instructions always so bad?

The microphone on it sets this camera apart from others because it has a wider range of sensitivity, you can pick up more and the sound is clearer, more crisp. Overall this is what I would consider the best kit for anyone that is just starting out and wants to experiment, learn. It looks professional and has a lot of different options on it as far as recording. The manual for it was easy to understand. It’s made of a nice solid plastic, the hinges on it open smoothly with ease. I’m impressed!

It’s small enough to fit in my pocket, but the video quality doesn’t compromise. The user manual is a one pager, but once you start to use it. It is easy to maneuver. It has different features to choose from. The 4K/120fps makes everything look smooth and clear, even when I’m walking around or moving the camera a lot.The built-in gimbal stabilizer is a lifesaver. I don’t get that shaky footage anymore, which used to ruin my videos. It also has face and object tracking, so it keeps me in focus even if I move around – which I do a lot!It was super easy to set up too. I literally took it out of the box and started recording within minutes. The touchscreen is simple to use, and the camera focuses really fast, which is great because I don’t really know what I’m doing yet.If you’re just starting out like me and want something easy but still high quality, I totally recommend this camera. It makes vlogging a lot convenient. It makes my videos look way more pro than I expected. Definitely worth it!

I returned as this camera only has 2 x zoom. I thought it was much more. I’m sure it’s a great camera but I want linger zoom for pics . I was excited to buy this camera and take it with me on my trip to South Africa. It worked fine for the first few days and then it just would not turn on at all. I charged it I read the instructions and tried anything I could think of but I just was not successful in getting it to turn on ever again so it was useless Now I can’t access the videos and pictures that I took on it. It’s too late to return it so now I’m stuck with a camera that doesn’t work

Bought this item as I’m considering getting into content creation, I will say for the price it offers really good video and photography quality. It came with a carry-bag, micro-sd card (already installed), lanyard and instructions manual. I sat and played around with the settings a little. The user interface is very simple and easy to navigate. Love the face tracking and the mic seems to be very sensitive as well. There is also a battery saver option.Regrettably, I won’t be giving it the full five stars because I noticed that it has a tendency to washout the color periodically when the flash is off (tried rectifying it by adjusting the settings but to no avail). Additionally, I don’t think the item I received was new as the SD card was already installed and the display screen/ view finder had no protective plastic and was scratched.

This camera is really cool. It is a great little device that everyone and anyone can operate. Simple to figure out and does everything you’d expect a digital camera to do. It’s a good camera for beginners. Easy to put together. Alot of extras. Easy connections to my other equipment. One tip, just like any other remote it controlled by Vizio TV. Besides that for the price it is well worth the money.

This camcorder works well for basic video and voice. I’m giving it 5 stars because it really is easy to use, light weight, and a great camcorder for basic video needs and customer service was really quick to respond and resolved my issues with trying to find the right mic for this device (see below). For a newbie vlogger, a teenager, or someone just wanting basic videos and not have to use a smartphone, it works well. It is not professional quality by any stretch, but it is not advertised as such, so for a budget-friendly product, it performs well.Limitations: I need to be able to record music performances, so an external mic was necessary. It must take a powered external mic, as it does not work with the newer mics that run on phantom power from a device. Even with the external mic, the sound quality of recording music is not great; however, that may be too much to expect out of a device in this price range, so I don’t think it should be penalized as a product because it doesn’t meet needs that are beyond the scope of what the camcorder is designed for. Another limitation is that it saves the videos in short video clips. The videos do fit seamlessly together when I put them in a basic video editing software. The storage of small 14min clips may be the kind of SD card I got. Which by the way, you need the bigger SD card, but if you buy a mini SD, they work with the adapter that makes a bigger case for the micro to fit in the big slot on the camcorder.

Works well but is not compatible with many newer mics. Picture quality is good. Lightweight and very portable. Long battery life. The zoom is good but it does tend to distort the picture the more you zoom. Sound quality is decent but I would recommend getting an external mic.

I first bought a similar camera on Amazon that had many glitches in the set up and navigating/setting the features it promised. I returned it and bought this one. It arrived in exactly the same box as the first one and had similar glitches and programming issues. Right out of the box it would not accept prompts for setting month/day/ year. It had the very same case and buttons and problems as the first one. I immediately returned it and ordered a used Canon in its place. Do NOT order this item! You will be greatly disappointed and highly frustrated if you do.

I’m not aware how this camera competes with others in it’s price range, but I feel a little bit misled by the features listed.I wanted to capture video in the highest resolution possible, but when attempting this, even with the video quality settings turned to low, it destroys the frame rate of the recording watching it back on my PC. It’s not awful and I bet a casual consumer might not even notice, but for someone picky like me, I can’t bear it. It’s choppy. Luckily, when turning down resolution to the lowest option of 720p, it performs well and looks good enough to me on the high video quality setting. The built in mic also picks up sounds of your hand touching the case very very loudly so you are going to want an external mic eventually most likely.The biggest problem I have is one or possibly both of the batteries are busted. One of them definitely drains fast, like 5 minutes half dead fast. I’ll have to do more testing with them but they appear to be very very weak and unreliable. Will update later.If the batteries hold up, I’m not mad overall at what I received for the price. I just feel misled because recording at the highest resolution (A feature I feel that this camera is boasting) looks like trash. At least 720 is smooth.
