My overall choice for dandruff shampoo

This is one of my favorite dandruff shampoos. I needed a Ketoconazole shampoo and this one works perfect. I like that you really can use a very small amount and it has a lot of lather to it. I have used it when my hair is dry and flaky and also when my scalp is sensitive and either way it has not irritated my scalp or caused any discomfort. After using my scalp clears up and the flakes are visibly reduced. Compared to other dandruff shampoos this one also doesnt dry my hair out like others have. Overall this is my 1st choice for dandruff shampoo

Alright, let preface this by saying, I am not a doctor or medical expert, I can only speak to the results, I myself have experienced.Back Story:So about 2 years ago, I started getting dry skin around my mouth, nose, eyebrows, and occasionally my ears and cheeks. It was pretty mild, so I never went to a dermatologist. However, before this time, never did I have to lotion my skin regularly, so this was a change for me.When this started happening, I used Aquaphor Healing Ointment (Advanced Therapy), and while it made me look greasy or like I was sweating for a couple hours, lol, it wore off enough, and would leave me looking normal the rest of the day. The only time my skin was really irritated was right after I would shave. However, dryness/peeling would get real bad if I did not at least lotion all those areas of my face after I showered. While I did some minor Googling about the issue, I was clearly too lazy to do anything about it, and the lotion solution sufficed for me. Dumb, I know.Anyways, fast forward to about 1.5 months ago. I started to notice a white growth under my left thumbnail that started to detach my nail from my nail bed. For some reason, this concerned me more than the dry skin on my face. So after Googling again, I found ti could be a problem with yeast growth under my nail. Then, I remembered reading that yeast growth could be causing my face problems. After connecting the dots, I decided to find a possible solution, to possibly kill two birds with one stone.After some searching, I stumbled onto Nizoral. After reading all the reviews, I was encouraged. I purchased this product and it has helped me tremendously. I could not be happier. It says to use it only every 3-4 days, which I say you should stick to, because I would use it on back to back days and it would seem to dry my skin out, but that could have been in my head.My Use:So, I know this is shampoo, but I almost treat it like liquid soap. I rub it on my skin/scalp and leave it there for 3-5 minutes. For my fingernail, I would lift it, since there was a gap and the nail was coming up. I put Nizarol directly in the ever so small opening between the nail and nail bed, and left it for 3-5 minutes. I am not sure if that was smart for the fingernail, but it worked for me.Results:TLDR: It worked everywhere, lol.Mouth/Upper Lip: This area was the worst of my dry skin issues. Like said, it was especially bad after shaving. Sometimes, my skin would be patchy red and inflamed after shaving, especially on the top of my chin and right below my lip. It would look gross for like an hour. In addition, when I did not shave, but did not lotion my skin, this area would eventually get pretty flaky before the end of the day. I also had issues with the corners of my mouth, especially after eating. My upper lip generally did not have any issues, but sometimes I would in very cold/dry weather.So, after using this product, I have seen a great deal of improvement. For the first time in almost 2 years, I do not have to lotion my face every single day. The patch below my lip still is not where I want it to be, but it is very much better. My skin feels dry after a shave, but now it does not look red or inflamed. It is getting better, and I think it will continue to get better. The corners of my mouth have issues if I do not lotion for 2 days or so, but they are much more minor to what they used to be. The minor issue above my lip is currently non-existent, however, we have not had any cold weather yet. This was the most noticeable problem I had with my dry/flaky/peeling skin, and I am happy to say, Nizarol has worked wonders. I now can use regular lotion instead of Aquaphor, which I still adore.Eyebrows: This was my second worse area, and I say eyebrows, but it was actually the area in between my eyebrows would flake worse than my eyebrows. I rub Nizarol into my eyebrows, in between them, and around my eye sockets. Nizarol has pretty much cleared up this issue, and I am thrilled Nizarol has basically eliminated the second worst dry area on my face. If I do not use lotion for several days, it does flake, but in a very minor way. Side note: be careful around your eyes, it burns pretty good if you get the shampoo runoff in your eye, lol.Nose/Nostrils: This was my third worst area. I would have dry skin on the sides of my nose, the point of my nose, and even on the inside of my nostrils! First off, putting Nizarol in your nostrils may not be safe. If you do do it, don’t huff the Nizarol when it is in your nostrils, breath through your mouth. My nose area has improved, but is now more of an issue than my eyebrows. Still it is much better, and I can go a couple days without using lotion. It is also more of the inside of the nostrils than the outside of my nose. I think if I were willing to put Nizarol further up my nose than just the inside rim, I could eliminate the problem. But, at what cost? Lol. I don’t want to ingest this stuff, lol. Either way, I am still happy!Head/Scalp: I have never had much of an issue with my scalp other than minor dandruff, for which I have always used Head & Shoulders. Despite this, I use this shampoo, as intended. I can not honestly tell if it is making any difference. Also, I have very short hair, so I cannot tell if this makes my hair coarse like everyone else says. If it does, I would use a conditioner like other reviews suggest.Ears/Earlobes: So, while it was more rare, but sometimes, my ear lobes and the bottom crease where the ear connected to my face would get dry and flake. I rub Nizarol on my ears, on the inside of my ears, and behind my ears/ear lobes. I have zero issues here now and never have to lotion this area any more.Forehead/Cheek Areas:These were not really problem areas unless it was cold/dry/windy. We have not had that type of weather, but I really do not think it will be a problem.Pelvic Area: I know this is a touchy subject, lol, but what I have to say is tame and could help some people. So several months back, something new happened, I noticed my pelvic area was dry as well, after using clippers. I used Nizarol in the creases of my leg, and in in my pelvic area, including directly on my —–. Results? Well, this has virtually eliminated the dry skin everywhere. Even better, I am chaffing less when running, which is awesome! I figured Nizarol was working everywhere else, so what the hell? Luckily for me, this was another minor issue it helped.Fingernail: Getting back to my fingernail, I had this white chalky/flaky formation under my fingernail. It had got to almost halfway down my thumbnail. It was causing my nail to lift. It did not hurt, but I thought it was unsightly. So I lifted the nail and put Nizarol in there. Again, possibly not safe, but a couple weeks in and my nail is almost back to normal. I eventually started cutting deeper into my nail to get the Nizarol farther back, which has worked. My nail almost looks normal and it looks like it is pushing the last of white to the font of my nail. So the growth stopped moving backward and it has improved. Another win!Others Uses?: As you can tell, I pretty much use this stuff all over. I put it on my elbows, the knuckles of my toes, and the point of my ankle bone. I think it is helping, but I am not 100% sure. What I can tell you is that it seems that it seems easier to get the dry skin off after applying the shampoo. A pedicure is on the docket and if I remember, I will update this review.Conclusion:Nizarol has worked way better than I could have hoped, and I did not even have to go to the dermatologist. I am hoping within a couple months, my skin will go back to normal. I am not sure if that will happen, but I love what Nizarol has done for me. I encourage anyone that has some of the issues I had to give it a try. Again, my issues were mild compared to some of the pictures I have seen, but I imagine if you are struggling with mild to intermediate issues, and you have not gone to a dermatologist, this could help you.I hope all this helps! Good luck!****Update: 7/25/2017***Fingernails: Nizoral completely fixed my nail problem!Face: So, when I first started using this product, I saw quite a bit of improvement. I no longer have red patches anywhere on my face. The only issue is that there have been diminishing returns. Nizarol has helped tremendously, but I still have dryness and dead skin issues. It is much more mild now, but still exists, however, I am grateful for the continued results.Scalp: Lol, I still cannot tell if this is helping or not. I still have minor dandruff. Nizarol has had no effect on my scalp as far as I can tell. Not a big deal for me though…

* Disclaimer, this is a long review, but I’m so incredibly happy with the results that I want you to know how upsetting it was that nothing worked longer than a day until I bought this shampoo.I started getting dandruff in my late 20’s. I’m 36 now. At first it wasn’t bad and then it got noticeable to the point I was embarrassed. For reference I have really dark brown hair, thick and very long. I had literally tried every kind of dandruff shampoo and conditioner from stores to online to salon recommended. From $5 bottles to $35 plus. The only way they would remotely work is if I used them daily, but by the end of the day or next morning, I’d have the ugly white flaking or white piece stuck in the middle of a strand of hair. If I went two days without using them, it would be enough to notice even with my hair in a bun And headband. And I usually wash my hair every 3-4 days because I never needed to wash it daily.I randomly searched on Amazon again about a month or two ago for dandruff shampoo because now it was getting itchy and I was so upset every day to see my hair. I found this product with high reviews, Nizoral. I said to myself, I’m desperate and I’ll try anything. I purchased it. When I first went to use it, it was super blue and I wasn’t sure how it would leave my hair, but I scrubbed it all around my scalp, only one wash. Then I used my normal conditioner, Nexxus, not any kind of anti dandruff conditioner (because I have those too). I wanted to see what the Nizoral would do without also having to use an anti dandruff conditioner. And for another reference (there’s a lot of these), I first used it after not washing my hair for about 3-4 days, with only using dry shampoo in between. I got out of the shower and didn’t see white flakes. I let my hair dry naturally as I wasn’t going anywhere and drying it is a 30-40 minute process which I don’t like doing lol. But I love my long hair; it’s a love/hate relationship.Anyways, back to this magical shampoo, I woke up the next morning and no flakes, no white stuck in strands of my hair, no grossness falling out of my hair onto my sink or clothing when I ran my hands through my hair or brushed it, nothing! I was so excited, but hesitant because I said let’s give this the day test. Checked back at night, nothing. Checked the next morning, nothing. I went 4 days without one single flake before my head was a little itchy because of just needing to be washed.I repeated the Nizoral shampoo with my normal conditioner again, and same thing. Days and no flakes or itching. I literally cried I was so happy and couldn’t believe the type of sorcery this product had bestowed upon my head.I am now on month 2 or 3 I think, and I use this once a week with my regular conditioner and the dandruff is just gone. And that is days in between without washing my hair. It also doesn’t make my hair dry or feel gunky or anything. My hair is always soft and smells nice. I was worried something like this would give off a weird medicated kind of smell, but not at all!If you have dandruff and nothing has worked or your tired of having to use something every day in order for it to work, just stop and buy this. It’s not even that expensive and I have had two months of use from ONE bottle; again with that reference, I have hair down to my bum that takes 40 fricken minutes to dry with a blow dryer because it’s so thick.Hands down I would literally promote this shampoo anywhere, even though my dandruff has been a really embarrassing condition for me. I wish I had before and after photos, but my dandruff was pretty much gone after the first use. So I couldn’t even get a before picture now and it hasn’t come back.Seriously, if you made it this far, Just buy it!** Also, quick footnote, I do shower daily. I just don’t wash my hair every day. It goes up in a tight bun on my hair days off in the shower, which usually will stay up the rest of the day because I work from home and between being a single Mom getting a 7 year old up and ready for school and morning chores and then working for 10-12 hours, I’m too lazy to style my hair. Now, I do use a normal dry shampoo in between hair washes. But I had that routine before I bought this product, so I know 100% the only reason my dandruff is gone is because of the Nizoral shampoo.*** Second footnote, I’m not being paid to write this nor was this some kind of promotional item I got to use to write about. I’m just that impressed and so happy with the results and I know there has to be someone else out there that is going through that struggle I did and I just want that person to feel the happiness I do right now.**** This is the longest review I’ve ever written in my life.

It definitely works for dandruff. However i would recommend to alternate between this and other any dandruff shampoos as it seems to stop working for me after some time.

easiest tool for clueless with hair gal, great for long and fine hair!

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made! I literally know nothing about doing hair, and I have owned curling irons and wands for years. I own little travel sizes of hair products like mousse and hair spray because I rarely used them. I tried heatless curls and cannot really sleep with those or the sleep styler after it was on Shark Tank. A friend recommended the Chi spin n curl, so I bought that from Amazon initially. It was tricky to use, but I got it to work once. Then ti never turned on again so I returned it. I was about to give up when I got cleverly marketed to by TYMO on social media. I watched some videos and decided I better give this a try. I have very long hair and this one has a version for long hair!It is SO EASY to use! I use kenra thermal spray before I use my TYMO and I keep it on the lowest heat setting because my hair is fine. I segment my hair with clips (just the top of my hair on each side. Then I curl the bottom of the hair on each side before doing the top. I can now do it in under 15 minutes! For me that is truly a miracle. I can also switch the direction of the curl with an easy slider button. I then spray my hair with kenra hair spray and my curls last ALL DAY! It really is amazing for me as I used to only do my hair once or twice a year for special occasions. Now I can do it whenever I want and I am not stressed about it or stuck watching hair reels that I never can figure out.

Seriously, This Is Great for People Who Can’t Style Hair

I never leave reviews on Amazon but had to for this item. I have never known how to do hair. I went to get my hair done recently and my stylist curled my hair, and I was like, “Man, I wish I could do that.” She said it was easy, so I went on Amazon to see what was out there. I didn’t even know there were automatic curling irons and then I came upon the Tymo Curlpro. After reading through the reviews and seeing some YouTube clips, I decided it sounded easy enough and ordered it.I wish I knew about the CurlPro years ago. I had it out of the box and curling my hair within minutes. Seriously, my hair looks good and looks like it was professionally done. If this internet stranger who has zero hair skills can do it, you can as well. Totally worth the money. I had a hair full of curls in less than 15 minutes. With a little bit of hair gel, the curls lasted all day.

I’m not a review type of person. I’m also not a hair girl, my hair is usually up in a bun as soon as its dry.I was excited to try this curling iron when it came in the mail so took my hair out of my messy bun and went to work. 10 minutes later I had a great bouncy curl, with no tangle issues or burning my fingers. I thought wow, that was easy! It’ll be great for the random days when I do actually care about my hair. Then I brushed it out and put it back up into a messy bun. That was over 24 hours ago. Multiple redo’s for the messy bun, no product whatsoever and super fine hair, and the curls are STILL there and beautiful as you can see in the photo! I’ve never been able to hold a curl in my hair, it looks limp and flat within hours. I’m blown away!I cant say anything for the longevity of the iron itself, and I for sure won’t use this more than once every couple of months, because ain’t no SAHM/small business owner got time for that, but I’m happy to have it for now and hope it lasts for a while!

this is amazing!

I was pleasantly surprised with how easy this tool was to use. I watched the videos that made it look like a breeze but still thought there’d be a learning curve when I tried to use it. But no, it couldn’t be any simpler – it’s literally fool-proof and took me all of a minute to get the hang of it. The hardest part was making sure I had the whole section of hair in the top slot before hitting the rotate button. It feels like a well made tool so I hope it lasts quite a while. It’s not too heavy, nor is it so big and bulky that it’s cumbersome to use. The placement of the operating buttons is good because I didn’t find myself hitting the temp control by accident (which is all too common on alot of my other curling irons). The button to change the direction of the rotation is very easy to use and the placement of the button to start and stop the rotation is in the appropriate spot for ease of use. I’m so happy I took a chance on this and purchased it.

It works wonderfully!

OMG! This is a miracle product! As someone that was an epic fail trying to curl may daughter’s hair with a curling iron and a wand and still ended up with a faint mega wave, I was hoping this product would work as advertised. And it 100% does! Easy to use, very quick and i wasn’t worried about burning myself or her scalp. She has long, thick hair so we did the middle heat setting. The results are beautiful! Look at the photo which is the very first time I used it. Love it and even more, I bought it on Black Friday so cool reduced price. As a bonus, I ordered it at 9am and it was in my hiuse by 6pm the same day.

So easy, even your husband can do it!

My hair has always been awful at holding a curl. I also have neuropathy in my hands that messes with my hand coordination and fin motor skills. I have the hardest time doing much of anything with my hair. I kept seeing ads for tymo products and finally decided to give this a try.I really do like it! It’s a great concept. I was still struggling to make the curls look like what I’d seen in some of the girls doing the review videos, but most of that is probably technique and hair texture/ length. I couldn’t reach a few sections in the back do to a shoulder injury so I asked my hubby if he could give me a quick hand. He was resistant at first (how could a manly man curl hair!? ????) but he finally caved. After curling the 2 sections I needed help with he said the device was excellent and went on to curl the whole rest of my head! ????????I miss my long hair now because I think longer hair would work better in it and my hair is thin so hard to get super curls, but this picture is after finger combing it.All this to say, listen to the reviews, it really is so easy, even my husband could do it! ????

New growth already!

I am a 64 year old female who is a biker. I had super thick hair up until menopause. Natural auburn curly/wavy hair. I color it now however (have been for years). It has been gradually thinning on top. My mom had very thick hair. My dad (redhead) was bald on top. Mine is to the point where I am pulling it back to help conceal the thinning on top. After two weeks of using this, I am seeing new growth all over my head. I am also using rosemary oil daily and use a scalp massager daily. Along with these, I take collagen peptides. So, I can’t say for sure what is working – it could be a combination of everything. But this product has to be playing a role in this without a doubt. I started taking fish oil supplements today also, which are supposed to be good for hair growth. Am hoping to get at least 50% back of what I have lost over time, and get it thickened back up again. Im doing everything I can short of seeking professional help and spending thousands of $$$ on PRP or transplants. Fingers crossed!*Update* Am thru my first bottle and just ordered my second. Those first new growth hairs are now an inch long. Prior to this, I would shed a handful of hair each time I washed it. Shedding is now minimal. Everywhere I part my hair, there are baby hairs popping up. I can’t tell you how relieved I am to be seeing improvement and new growth. I continue to use rosemary oil at night, massage my scalp, take protein supplements and collagen peptides, and fish oil. I am using a shampoo with rosemary oil. I’m not relying on one product for success. I think it’s been a team effort from several products. Whatever I am doing, it’s working!!!Update with pictures. I am thru my first 4 months of using this and my 5th bottle is on the way. I am no longer keeping my hair pulled back. My almost bald spot at the back of my head is gone. Any light areas you see are grays because I am 2 weeks out from my last color job, and it grows super fast. I am beyond happy with the results I have gotten from using this. My issue is hormones, and this product appears to block the hormone that chokes off the blood supply to the follicle. Happy, happy 64 year old!!

I have bought this product for 4 months and I’m undecided. Seems like no new hair growth but they do say between 4 and 6 months to let it pan out I guess but I will say that taking the product I am a lot calmer and not so high strung so not sure if it’s worth the $88 I spend on it but for right now I’m going to give it a chance

Really happy with my results. It took a bit, but after a few months I really noticed a change, so much new growth! When I forget to take it for a week or so I notice a difference. It’s expensive but worth it.

Pretty Impressive

I have baby thin long hair (mid back) and was beginning to show signs of thinning, a lot of shedding and you could actually see my scalp top front of my head and in a early bolding pattern. I bought this product 18 November 2023, today is 3 January 2024 so after two months use taking the daily supplements and using the shampoo + conditioner. All the products are expensive but I made a minimum of a 3 months commitment. So far the pills have not been a problem to swallow, and the shampoo and conditioner are luxurious so you really don’t need that much and I don’t even feel the need to wash it as frequently.I know new growth won’t begin to show for another few months but for now I can honestly say I am not shedding the hand full of hair, my hair feels and looks fuller as family members have complimented me on and my crown thinning front area is not noticeable. I must say I am taking + using all of this in conjunction with some medication (pills) my dermatologist prescribed. I was hesitant to spend the money but I can honestly say I am very satisfied.About the individual products:PILLS: You must take 4 per day. I would bypass buying the bottle and go for the bag because it will be less expensive.SHAMPOO: Super luxurious and you only need about a quarter size on your hand. I have long hair.CONDITIONER: I use about the same amount as the shampoo but note this will NOT detangle your hair. I use a different spray mist to detangle after I get out of the shower.SERUM; I love this stuff. I use a fine comb to part my hair in lines as I put the serum and massage it into my scalp. I do the entire top and front of my head a few times a week. The good thing about this serum is that it does not leave your hair gross, you can style it and it won’t look greasy. ONE THING OF CAUTION This product comes with a very fine glass applicator so you must be careful not to bank it or drop it or it will break and there are no replacement droppers.All in all I am very happy with the results this far and look forward to seeing much improvement over the next 6 months.

Great coverage

I’ve had alopecia since 24 (48 now) due to chemical damage from a botched highlight job, which was devastating & didn’t touch my hair color since. Wore wigs, extensions & found coverups like these. $2 eye shadow is better in my experience. Easy to apply? I’ll give them that, but how does a light brown color equate to ORANGE on my scalp ????!I thought I could stick with my usual dark brown eyeshadow and L’Oréal root cover up, my cheap stuff, but they applied the highlights closer to the scalp then I expected. (Was going for baylage, so my scalp wouldn’t be affected. Oh well, there.) The blond mixed with dark medium- dark brown, it looked most like a light brown color would be needed. Found this, and eek! Read great things, but although I love the packaging, the applicator, and the ‘thought’ of what this product should do, I still saw my scalp & it gave me an awful orange tint, and I just washed my hair. This powder is very effective!

This is the best root cover up I have ever found. It doesn’t come off on your hands like the spray root cover. It doesn’t tangle in your hair like the spoolie applicator on some root cover products. The coverage lasts for days. It doesn’t smear and is really easy to apply. If your hair is a little thin at the hairline the powder fills it in with a very natural look. After 25 years of dealing with gray roots this product is a real game changer. I would highly recommend this product.

Perfect color, great coverage and it lasts all day long!

I have tried so many temporary grey coverups and this one is my favorite. The sprays are inaccurate, the sticks have terrible coverage and are not easy to dispense. Boldify powder works the best. It covers nicely and covers my grey. The coverage is complete. The color is true to pictures shown. It lasts until I wash it out. If I skip a wash, it stays on through the night. My only complaint is that I wish it came in a larger size.

It’s alright!

Tried it out after seeing lots of social media reels on it. In the end, this one is okay. I dont love it, but i dont hate it either. I’m a dark brunette with greys peppered throughout my hair, especially the hairline areas. I tried the dark brown and attempted to cover but it doesnt 100% cover it like the videos. It has more of a highlight appearance after application. It does get on your fingers when you rub it in or touch, so dont let them fool ya, but its not as bad as some of the others i’ve tried. It seems to hold up well with sweat, and does last pretty good till you wash it out. The product leaves your hair feeling as though you put dry shampoo on it, or a root lifter. Which is great if you wanta texture feel with some volume. I kinda liked that part of it. I will keep using for now till the next best thing rolls along…..

This is my honest and unbiased review of L’Oréal Paris Root Cover Up in Dark Brown. My results are my own and may be different depending on the person.As a busy, mom, woman, college student, daughter, human there is either never enough time or money to get things done. When it comes to the topic of hair coloring both time and money apply. As I get older I notice that my once Raven colored hair now has sprinkles of “natural glitter” around my temples. I have my very own “silver lining”. Okay, to be honest I am lucky enough where my white, they skipped grey those darn overachieving follicles, are at my temples and bang area mostly. Those that make it to the back of my head are covered with a layer of color that is not white, grey, or silver. My natural center part is still full of color. So I can get away with not coloring my hair for a bit longer then let’s say my older sister. Okay, so the fact that it is matte is not so great, I would have loved it if the product were a shiny like hair is normally, but since it is at the roots I don’t think it really matters to me. There were no drips for me but when I searched for reviews on this product I read and saw that some women experience product dripping while some did not. I think it has to do with how you spray the product. If you purchase this product try quick short bursts, you can always add more, you can’t take off less.I also found that this product dries quickly which is very nice. I do not mean immediate though, so if you touch the area right after you spray it your fingers will come away with color. More like 30 seconds, and the color will not rub of. Also, I was able to brush through my hair after I applied this product. If any of you have ever applied that can of hair color that is sold during Halloween you know that those products are more like colored hairspray. You cannot get your fingers through your hair let alone a brush. This product is not like that at all. I was able to brush through it and my hair fell naturally into place. I had to check if there were any more visible white hairs that needed to be covered. There were none.Overall, this product is a good investment. Like I stated previously it is a much needed life hack that needs to find its place in the lives of busy women, but I think anyone male or female could use this. There has to be some men out there who want to cover some grey/white hair put do not want to actually dye their hair. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a temporary reprieve from eyeing their “glittering” hair in the mirror but does not have the time or the funds for that project. Plus, you do not have to use the entire canister of product to cover your roots. I may go out tonight to purchase a canister for my sister to make her life a bit less hectic as well. I use this spray to add a temporary smoky look to my silver hair.

So I don’t use this in the traditional way. It is meant to cover grey roots by spraying them to blend with the rest of the hair between dye jobs. I have fully grey, almost silver, hair. But it is so light I tend to look washed out. So I LIGHTLY spray this all over my hair to give it a smoky grey look. Took a few practice runs to learn how far away to hold it, how much to spray – less is more – and that immediately brushing it through keeps my hair feeling soft and blends it well. I even bend forward and spray the underneath for dimension. If I get a spot that is too intense I gently rub it with a black towel to remove some. Lasts until my next shampoo.

I bought red color one. It’s darker than I expected. It has white smoke with mild smell coming out when I was spraying it, I tried to hold my breath when I was using it. I would recommend it when you need to go to public but don’t have time to get your gray hair colored. Oh, remember to use dark towel cover your shoulders to avoid it spraying on your clothes.

stains everything. no touching your head for the rest of the day, it comes off as a coal-like powder. you will get black on your finger tips and nails. ended the day with black smudges on my face. showered, left black residue on the shower floor. and despite it coming off my scalp and hair so easily, i had to really scrub to clean the shower. thankfully i wore a mostly black outfit so at least i didn’t ruin any clothes. i don’t even think i used that much, just the part in my hair, and a tad at the temples.it did cover my gray though, so, if you just need it for a quick photo session, it is grand. its definitely not something for everyday use. i won’t be buying again.

Like the brown version but blonde looks orange

I like the brown shade of this a lot. It does a nice job coloring my roots in between hair appointments. I tried ordering a blonde version as well and it appeared orange when I used it, so it was a no go for me. Overall good product for helping stretch the time between salon visits a bit! I do wish there was a better blonde version that didn’t come out orange-y.

Made me feel… pretty

I’ve been wanting to try different barrel sizes of for wavy curls, and I think this one takes the cake. I love the end of the curl to help me turn the iron well when I’m curling my non dominate side of my hair, and the it really heats up my hair really fast! Faster than other curlers I’ve used. fantastic for the price 1 ½ barrel

I have straight hair thats below my shoulders and sometimes I just want it to be slightly waivy. I don’t want it enough to need a curler every day. This one is easy to use. Holds well, my hair is smooth.The one issue I have is that it shuts off when I’m rotating the hair around due to where the position is. But thats okay in relation to everything else.

Super good value but use with care

Very hot and heats quickly. I turn it on the lowest setting for 30 seconds before drying my hair then unplug it. This gives it time to cool when I use it to finish the ends of my bob. I had a little burn the first time I used it using the lowest setting. Now I use it with great care. Would not allow a child to use it. Cannot imagine how hot the higher settings get. My hair is fine and delicate so I use it quickly for a few seconds to finish ends to avoid hair damage. If I wanted curls I would use my Velcro or electric rollers. I do have a silicone pad where I place it while it is cooling. Directions warn not to leave it plugged in.

Temperature Settings

Only giving 3 stars because there is no indication anywhere in the instructions etc., that lets you know the temperature for the individual settings. I looked up their contact information and called to see if I could find out what the temperature settings are for the main numbers of heat settings in the instructions for this particular model which is the long 1” curling iron. This is what the representative told me. Settings Low: 1-5/Fragile Fine Hair (1 is 220 degrees F and the 5 is the max of 275 degrees F if you use the turbo heat boost on that setting, meaning that if you don’t use the turbo heat with the setting on the number 5, you would subtract 27 degrees F giving you a max temperature of 248 degrees F).The rest of the temperatures for the ranges in the instructions are as follows:Medium: 6-10/Thin Hair ( 6 – 260 degrees F/ 10 – 310 degrees F max with turbo)Med./High: 11-15/Medium or Normal Hair ( 11 – 290 degrees F/ 15 – 330 degrees F max with turbo)High: 16 – 20/Wavy or Curly Hair ( 16 – 320 degrees F/ 20 – 350 degrees F max with turbo)Maximum: 21 – 30/Coarse or Thick Hair ( 21 – 350 degrees F/ 30 – 400 degrees F max with turbo)NOTE: I was told that the curling iron does not exceed 400 degrees F at all, even on turbo setting on the highest setting number of 30.I hope this helps someone. when you first shake it yes you’re gonna spell the chemicals, but that’s just part of the hair dye process, but then it goes away pretty quickly to the point where you don’t smell it anymore which is nice so it is not just like you know when you’re dying your hair, you’re not just smelling like the hair dye chemicals the entire time you’re dying your hair now it’s a perfect lie because I wanted to go for a very, not too crazy, but but just the right amount of black and I love the outcome of how it turned out and I will get this again because I absolutely loved that in my hair during the fall a darker color and I’m glad I picked the right hair dye

Grey blends and dark trends

Decided to give this one a go with the intention of blending my abundance of greys growing in with the rest of the blonde I’ve been growing out from previous bleaching from months ago. My hair is naturally dark brown so I was also hoping this dye would lift the color a little to add to the blending… Well, it did and I’m incredibly happy with the result.Also love the conditioner… Hair smells great and feels silky soft to the touch.Absolutely will be buying again!

Great at home hair dye to cover your gray hair

I was pretty scared dying my hair on my own for the first time in my life. I used to go to a hairdresser for some highlights maybe couple of times. I’m a natural champagne blonde and highlights look beautiful on me, but that bleach part is damaging. My hair started showing gray and I didn’t want to bleach it or honestly spend $400-500 in a hair salon so I bought a box of L’oreal hair dye! Works wonders! Yes it dries your hair like any hair dye, but if you do some hydrating masks, use oil and good hair products in overall, your hair will look great! Note that if you want to reach a certain color or tone, you’d probably better go to a colorist. This is mostly for DIY cover your grays. I love my medium or dark ash blond colors. It’s pretty similar to my natural hair color but more cold, which I like. I tried my champagne blonde, but it is a bit too warm and prone to turning yellowish.

The dye is fine — easy to mix and apply, and my hair felt soft afterward. However, the color wasn’t as bright as shown in the picture. It looked more like I hadn’t refreshed my color at all

Excellent permanent color with easy mixing and long lasting results

This hair dye works extremely well for me. It is very easy to measure out because both parts are liquid and not a thick cream, which makes splitting portions simple. The included shampoo, conditioner, and gloves are nice extras, although I usually use my own gloves. The results last a long time, the color stays stable, and my hair has not felt damaged even after using this every six weeks for the past two years. This is one of the easiest and most consistent permanent hair dyes I’ve used.

Good coverage. Soft hair

My hair is black with lots of white. This photo shows how great the color did. I had about 1.5 inches of roots and the rest was the result of using a color remover on my hair a couple of months ago. The color looks pretty even and my hair feels soft and not damaged. I have used a lot of dyes over the last few years and usually there is a difference between roots and previously dyed hair if not bleached (at least with very dark hair). This dye looks pretty even despite the original color.

It’s a winner!

My hair type: very thick, frizzy, uneven tighter wave – hair with an attitude. Length is about 4 inches below my shoulders, so fairly long. I have used the Tymo straightener which was pretty effective, but did not hit 5 stars for me. Then I tried one of those curler/straightener cool air irons – eh – didn’t really clamp my thick hair well enough to truly work as well as I hoped. I hesitated to buy yet another fad item, but hit a sale on this Tymo rotating curler and gave it a go. Holy grail for me. Up until now I had used hot rollers to get the job done…it’s a different look. This thing…well someone had an amazing vision. Yes it takes a little practice to master – just like anything. Small sections is important or you’ll likely get a tangle. You need to get the hair in the slot to make it work so I think one inch or less of hair is ideal. You can twist a bit if that helps you feed it in the slot. I definitely brush each section before feeding it in for the best outcome. I also use a heat protector and normal product to help protect and hold the curl. There is a toggle to switch left and right (I toggle left on the left side and right for the right side to have the curl go back vs forward). If it tangles…it stops. You can toggle opposite to release the curl. When it’s done it beeps and you should be able to just lightly pull down to release the curl. But do the curls last? Heck yeah. I use a little light hair spray and let the curls cool. Then run some hair oil through the curls to break them up…and they literally last for days (for my hair type). I just went on a weekend trip and didn’t need to do anything more – not even a touch up – for 4 days. After three sessions using this gadget, I have the rhythm and definitely am impressed. I hope it has longevity, but I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again as long as it doesn’t poop out on me too fast (if it does, I will update). Recommend!

Miracle worker for us without styling talent!

I don’t leave many reviews and with thousands on this product, this might not make much of a difference, but then again maybe it’ll be helpful for other women like me who lack the “hair styling” gene. I’m a 40yro gal who until very recently always had very short hair that never required any special talent to style and look nice, even when younger I always kept my hair super short. But about two years ago I started growing it out and that’s when I realized I have zero ability to style hair…none. Not one lick of talent. So I always keep it up in a clip or occasionally scrunch it with curl cream, but generally it just looks blah. I’m ok with that most of the time, but every once in a while I would like to curl it and have it look semi-nice. I’ve seen the ads for this product but ignored them figuring it was just a scam. Fast forward to last night, sick and hocked up on cold medicine, I decided to order this and give it a try. And omg it actually worked! Yes I know I missed some spots and it’s a bit uneven in places, but for the very first try by someone whose talent begins and ends with a lumpy ponytail it’s a miracle! My natural hair texture is fine with mostly waves but a few areas that want to curl. Hangs just a little past my shoulders. I used the lowest heat setting (there are 3 to choose from) and removed the section when the 8s beep went off. In the pictures my hair is freshly washed and conditioned. I used a heat protectant cream and curl mousse before blow drying. No other product added before or after. If I can manage this still sick, loaded up on medication, and with zero talent then I think it’ll work for most anyone. It took me about 30 minutes to curl my whole head. The only time I got the hair stuck/pulled by the device was when trying to do the back of my head and I had too large of a section of hair and didn’t get it set correctly in the notch on the wand. When this happened, it tugged a little bit on my hair and then the wand stopped spinning like it says it will so I could remove that section and try again. Pictures are before, right after curling, and after raking through with just my fingers.

Every no muss, no fuss girl needs one of these!!

I’ve never been a gal who curls her hair, because my hair never really held a curl before. But I have a little natural, unattractive waving, so I always straightened (which takes 20+ min and doesn’t look as good as my frizzy textured hair ages).As you can tell by the photos, I’m a no nonsense, natural, grandma. And I had no idea how to use this thing. But some reviewers claimed the curl held for 3 days so I had to check it out.The Pictures tell the story:1. First attempt using the curler, air dried, no product, took me 12 min.2. Day 2 woke up and just ran my fingers through it.3. After a sweaty workout with my hair in a high ponytail, again just ran my fingers through it.4. Day 3 woke up & ran my fingers through it and put my bangs back because they no longer look presentable (but that could have been due to the satin cap I slept in) ????All I can say is, whatever you think of my style (which I hope will improve with practice), my hair stayed soft, smooth & curly for 2 full days in 80% humidity… slept on, sweated on and all! Day 3 it started to show some real wear but still has decent waves that I wouldn’t be ashamed to wear around town.Wish I would have thought to take a before frizzy pic too, so you can see how tamed it was in such a short time.If I could give this higher ratings, I would! The convenience and savings of both time and product alone are worth a couple extra stars!!

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 18 years old. Im 33 now and throughout these years I was losing a lot of hair and my hair was thinning really bad. Ive tried everything to see if my hair would grow back and never happened. So I gave Viviscal a try because of the percentage that it says on the box of 92% of women saw thicker hair. I thought that was pretty high. So it has been a month that Ive been taking it and you can see in the pictures before and right now results. I will come back here in the following months to post more pictures and update. So far I am extremely happy with this.

Worth every penny, buy NOW!!!

I just purchased my 2nd 3 month supply (180 pills, taken twice a day).I am almost 50, Caucasian, curly haired (some grey) woman. I had a surprise thyroid issue and with it came a lot of hair problems. I was shedding, thinning, and what seemed like little to no growth.I have used a name brand mail order product (and would choke down 4 horse size capsules daily with a foul aftertaste) While it did work just like Viviscal, it was 3-4 times more expensive. Viviscal IS THAT GIRL. I happen to be reading about hair loss and the thyroid issue and came across report from the NIH on a study with Viviscal. The report was positive, I recommend reading it. I am 3 months in (1 pill twice a day, I just do a.m. & p.m.) with a head full of thick hair again. Little to no shedding. I lose 80%less hair than I did at 25. All my thinned areas are filled in and I can visibly see new growth all around my hairline. This product is the real deal, but will only work if you actually take your pills!!

Something that actually works

I’ve tried Rogain, PRP and nutrafol (the taste was awful so I don’t know if they would have worked) with very little results. My hair started thinning around my edges over the last several years although my hair is very long. It recently started shedding badly and a Freind noticed the thinning. That’s when I decided to try these. After the first month I noticed less hair in the brush when I washed my hair. It was almost nothing and I normally have a handful. After 60 days noticed some baby hairs around my edges. I’m now on my fourth box and I don’t have a lot of hair coming out on wash days, my hair is healthier and my edges are almost filled in. I wish I had found these sooner. I would have saved a ton on other products. Stick with it at least 3-4 months to allow the results to start showing.

Have realistic expectations

I don’t really have thinning hair so I didn’tbuy it for that reason. I do have a habit ofcutting my hair too short and then growing it out and cutting it short and growing it out on a repeating cycle. I bought this to see if it would make my hair grow any faster. It didn’t. HOWEVER, my eyelashes have never been so long and I think my thin eyebrows have slightly recovered from their years of abuse in the 2000s and are filling in a bit. So I’m going to assume that if thinning hair WAS a problem for me, this might help. Won’t speed up growth, but really nothing will, so can’t fault them there. 4 stars because it’s more money than I want to pay 😀

I Know It Works.

I honestly thought that this product was helping with hair growth but I wasn’t positive. I’ve been taking it since August 2022 if not longer. I thought maybe it was just wishful thinking. Then last month I had to have a blood test that required me to not take any product containing biotin for 10 days. Unfortunately the blood test was rescheduled after I had already stopped taking Viviscal for 5 days so I wound up not taking it for 15 days straight. By about the 10th or 11th day, I noticed my hair had begun to fall out at a much greater rate than it had previously. When the 15 days were over, there was a very visible decrease in the density of my hair. Now, I know for a fact that the Viviscal had definitely helped to increase my hair density. I just hope that now that I’m taking it again, I won’t have to wait for a year or more to regain the density; however, I guess I could be starting all over from scratch. Hopefully, I never have to stop taking biotin again for a blood test or any other reason.

Itch scratch itching ???? ???? ????

Hi ???? I purchased this product because of the wonderful reviews and after taking 1 of the two sheets in my box, this is my honest review.I had a spot in the middle of my head where my hair broke off, was shedding I don’t know ???? I was bleaching my hair alot and coloring for about a year so maybe it caused breakage but all I know is the spot kept getting bigger so, I came to Amazon and after reading reviews for several hair growth vitamins, I decided to try these.They are no bigger than a pain killer so taking them is easy enough, no smell or after taste so I started with 1 tablet a day, usually after dinner.I was not consistent so after the 2nd week I decided to buckle down and take the 2 pills as directed.My patch in the middle of my head is not pre balding anymore, my hair has grown into the spot. Not all the way YET, but I know it is working for me, from just one sheet of my packet and me not being consistent with it.So my dilemma is this, a few weeks ago I started itching like crazy, about 3-4 hours after dinner, and I did not connect it to the pills. So I stopped taking them for a week (4 left) from first sheet and the itching started to subside. So I was thinking maybe there is a review that mentions itching, to the point where you want to rip your skin off especially (ALL) over, which last for about 2 hours straight. But I didn’t see any reviews ????So this week I finished up the last 4 in the first sheet and have the second sheet to finish, but as I sit here I am still itchy.On top of that I’ve broken out in acne around my jaw line, and my entire face and neck have hives, lastly my joints hurt terribly bad.So I am going to give my system a break from these pills, because everything itches and I mean everything ???? after a month I would take the pills on the second sheet, but after that I doubt I would reorder these. I would stop bleaching my hair and hopefully it would continue to grow back.Including photos from Feb 15th 2024 to March 30th 2024. The photo with the braids pulled back is how I am wearing my hair to hide the spot that’s not so large anymore.For those with no adverse reaction, good for you, because it would be a great product for me if I wasn’t having a bad reaction. And yes my hair has grown about 2 inches overall ????
